We enjoyed a steak dinner here with a few pints. The beer on tap was good and we were pleasantly surprised to have a good, well cooked, steak at a place like this. Our server wasn't able to answer some simple questions (Question: what is in your dynamite roll? Answer: sushi) and overall she was awkward and hovered just a bit too much.

Nice Place , and location, wait staff was excellent. Food was sub par and not up to other Browns restaurants in Edmonton and Calgary. The cook has significantly deviated from the plate as advertised in the menu. Disappointed, as i don't send food back and will not return to this location. I will return to the Locations in Calgary and Edmonton that are consistent with their cooking methods.

This was our five different Browns that we've had the opportunity to visit. Four in the Edmonton, AB area and another in Vernon, BC. I gotta say I really liked the design of this locale, what with the high ceilings and exposed ductwork. The dark blood red subway tiles were most appealing to the eye. We're in time for the happy hour deals. We started off with Brown Social Red and a pint of Stella which we're both on special. Our server Ashley was a delight and very efficient & friendly. Our appetizer dry rubbed ribs were first up and were delicious, served on a very hot plate.... Thanks for the warning, BTW. My wife had the Cowboy chicken salad and I ordered the "Italian Job" hand pulled flatbread pizza without mushrooms. I was stuffed after our meal and a couple libations. So I was unable to assist my wife with her chocolate brownies that she had for dessert. Thanks again for a most delicious and delightful meal.

Arrived at around 9 pm with our children, ordered Teryaki rice bowl which was the best I have ever had . All elements of the bowl was perfectly cooked, just wished the portion was little bigger. My wife’s salad and freshly squeezed orange juice were great and so were my daughters’ burger and chicken strips. Service is quick and friendly. Shout out to Kaley who was kind to my children and gave them a free treat .

Food is often hit or miss. Burgers and sweet potato fries are always good and juicy. Drinks are pricey. Nachos are probably the best restaurant nachos I've had, but pricey for the amount you receive. Good atmosphere. Breakfast is kind of greasy.

I have to give credit when it's deserved, and by gosh, do these guys deserve it! Steven the assistant manager and Liz at the bar are absolutely top draw. They're an example to the hospitality industry on what great service should be. As for the location, the atmosphere is fantastic. Warm, welcoming, with a great menu and an amazing décor. You might think I work here with this kind of review, however I'm a English guy, living in Saskatoon just stopping at the spa here (which is really nice too) for a couple of days with my wife. Highly recommend if you're in the area, this should be the first (and last) bar you come to.

Just had a horrible dinner experience at Brown's SH. We arrived at 5:15 for 5:30 reservation and waited until 7:00 to get our food. We were told of a 45 min food delay after we were seated with drinks. Funny, there seemed to be only 50% of the seating full. The only reason I asked to speak with the manager but she was too busy cooking in the kitchen and never did come out to speak to me. The waitress was very poorly trained I suspect because she forgot several requests from our table.the only reason I gave 1 star was because the food did taste good. Service is very bad and perhaps they shouldn't have reopened until they were ready to run the business as a restaurant.

Very slow taking order, they sat us next the kitchen pass through and i was a little concerned at the state of the kitchen. After ordering we never saw our server again untill she brought our food. My wife asked the bartender for a drink while we waited which wasnt brought out until we had finished our meal. I watched my order of fish tacos sit in the window 4' frok me for 9 minutes untill my wifes order, a lettuce wrap, was ready. By the time it came my tacos were very soggy and fries were cool. Overall for being not even 20% full this was a pretty poor experience.

Went there with my boyfriend and his brother last night who are visiting from the States. The food was amazing and so delicious but the service was quite bad. The waitress first came over and took our drink order and appetizer order and after we received our appetizers and FINISHED them, we waited 25 minutes to put in our actual order. 25 minutes without refills for water or anything, no check ups on how the food tastes. The restaurant wasn't that busy and when she came back to finally take our order, her attitude really sucked. We asked, "Can we order?" To only be met with a "sure." No eye contact was ever given and it just seemed as though she didn't care and hated her job. No apology for waiting that long or anything. I am a server myself and experiencing that was rather disappointing.

Was just passing through Moose Jaw on route to Calgary and decided to stop in at one of my favorite places, Browns Socialhouse. There was nobody else in the restaurant other than my friend and I, the staff was goofing off, the waitress messed up our order of nachos with no jalapeno and didn't even realize she messed up when she saw a plate full of jalapenos when we were done. We didn't send back the nachos because we were in a rush , otherwise we would've. Other than the jalapenos the nachos were still good.

Until today, Browns in other cities has always been a great experience - but Moose Jaw changed that. At the door we were advised the coffee machine was broken - so no coffee !! Okay, things happen ... we decided to stay and placed our orders - egg bennie and corned beef hash. After a very, very long wait our plates arrived - eggs were over-cooked, potatoes were close to being burnt and both plates of food were almost cold. Will not be returning to this outlet !!

Not a bad choice for downtown Moose Jaw. I enjoyed the Pub Burger and they have an okay beer selection. Service was also fast and very friendly. It’s clear that Browns is trying to go for a more sophisticated take on places like Original Joes or State and Main. Brick, leather, and classic steakhouse elements take them to a slightly more elevated space. In that regard, it looks nice and good atmosphere. However, at its heart it’s still just a big box, chain restaurant. The menu is fine but not overly unique. The food is good but not exceptional. Worth a visit though and I’m sure I’ll be back.

Been here twice. First time waitress dropped a bowl on my leg with no apology. Second time watched a manager wipe his nose once with fingers twice on sleeve. He then proceeded to lick every finger on his hand and commenced serving food. I brought this to the attention of the snotty waitress, her excuse was "Oh he's just making his own food". If this was true why was he even handing the same utensils that would be used by the cooks. Anyway, I ending up talking to a young manager named Steve. A very pleasant young man. Very apologetic. I explained that this type of behaviour is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. He agreed and dealt with the matter. So excellent review for manager Steve. Poor review for other so called manager and waitress with bad makers

My husband took me to the spa for a weekend get away and we ate at browns multiple times with a phenomenal experience everytime with each and every employee who served us. Order the corned beef hash for brunch and you will not be disappointed I guarantee ???? 11/10 rating absolutely superb. We will be back for sure!! Very nice night! Service was timed well. Not all over me and my wife but also didn't feel ignored. My food order was going to be delayed and the manager came out to let me know in advance. We come here often and usually have a great experience.

We went for supper it took 2.5 hours to get our meal. Fries were still raw, steaks weren't cooked properly. Likely never going back.... I appreciate the offer. But stuff like this needs to be dealt with at the time.. Not with the help of social media.. Just be better for everyone but me and my friends.

Went there twice, the food is great, but yesterday it was all about the service. It was amazing thanks to our waitress (I'll call her little chicken she'll recognize her). Had an amazing afternoon there and will probably come back.

The last 3 times I've been there I have not had a good experience. The first time my girlfriend and I were sat down in a timely manner, only to wait 40 minutes to have no waitress to come and ask us what we wanted. needless to say, we left. Second time was practically the same thing. Third time I ordered the tuna roll and it was stringy and disgusting and when I was given my main meal, which was bbq chicken pizza, a big hair was in my last piece, which made me feel a little sick. (the cook had a hair net on and I understand sometimes this type of stuff happens) I've given browns too many chances, and will not return.

The food was excellent, the service was a little lacking though. Waited quite awhile before a server stopped to see if we'd been helped yet and we had not. Thankfully they took our drink and food order right away, as we weren't sure how long we'd have to wait if we didn't get it put in right away with that server. Highly recommend their salads!

The least family friendly (and even friendly) place I have ever been. Came from out of town, requested a high chair, nope no highchairs. Not that they were out, the don't have high chairs period. Asked for a sling for our babies carseat, nope no slings. Try to park our stroller next to our table, nope you can't do that either. They took our stroller and parked it out of our sight in the back of the restaurant. The waitress was curt and dismissive of our requests. The food was ok, maybe 3 stars but the terrible service makes this a 1 star. The first one star I have ever left in my life.

Sub Par service this time around. I find them hit and miss most of the time. First time ever sending anything back. Cilantro on pizza, what a horrible thing cilantro. Sorry if your menu stated you put a ounce of that stuff on it I'd have asked for it with out. And to top it off last time I had that same dish I mentioned the cilantro and they told me it shouldn't be on it. At any regards after the fact I got my next drink. Slammed down in front of me and treated the rest of the time like the employees are mad because I don't like that horrible ingredient nor is it on the menu listed as such very unprofessional. Cheers

Awesome place for a drink. The prices are a little expensive but they are a more classy Establishment. The waitress we had was amazing and knew her crowd well. Drinks where never empty without her coming by to see if you needed another and the table never got cluttered with glasses.

We went to Brown's for lunch. It wasn't very busy so we thought we would be in and out in no time. Had a busy day. What a mistake. After taking our order it took 45 mins to receive food. We saw our food was up waiting to be delivered(we wanted to go get it ourselves) to our table but the waitress decided to take salads to the table next to us. Who arrived after us. By the time we got our food it was cold. The food was good but service is horrible. Wait staff needs to be trained. Won't be back.

I was in Moose Jaw last weekend and stopped for lunch. I have celiac disease. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful! I love the blackened chicken! I think it was a supervisor that even set me up with a wonderful brownie dessert! I did not expect that, usually desserts are rare. And of course I had one of the famous peach bellinis. I was so happy with my meal. Thank you Ariel and team for the fantastic experience!

Terrible service on a Saturday night (May 18). Wasn't very busy, waited for drinks when they were empty and had to get up and walk to the waitress yo pay for our bill while she was leaning against the bar talking to co workers.
