Stopped in for a quick pint while passing threw Moose Jaw. Quite liked the place. Reasonable selection of beers, and a great selection of Scotch. As befits a Scottish pub. Good, friendly ambience and very nice staff. The Caesar salad was tasty and the murals on the outside of the building well done. Have one for Bobby!

Stopped here on our way to Jasper as we had heard that Moose Jaw was a cute town and it was! Saw this restaurant, and decided to take a break and get something to eat. Bobby's was friendly, warm, and had a great menu with some different things available that you don't see everywhere. We started with the battered mushrooms which were truly delicious! First of all you don't see battered mushrooms very often, and when you do they either get mushy right away, or have too much or too little batter on them. I don't know how they managed it, but these were phenomenal! Crispy, hot, firm mushrooms, and it is a HUGE portion! I got some ranch dressing on the side and it was just delicious! For our entrees, my husband had the Irish Reuben and soup which he thoroughly enjoyed, and I wanted to try something different and got the Yorkshire pudding. I've never had it before so I can't speak to the authenticity of it, but it was terrific (but filling). Real mashed potatoes and steamed veggies with it, and covered in a rich brown gravy....Yum!! I also tried a Paralyzer (Banana) since it was recommended by the girl at the local bank when I went to get some money exchanged. She was very excited when I mentioned going to Bobby's for lunch and she seemed a bit jealous to be honest :) This is a great place to check out if you are in the area!

The fish was quite good, and the environment was pleasant, but definately hit and miss on the food. Oh, and the deep fried Mars bar is kind of tasty, but DEAR GOD is it expensive for what you get!

Came to Moose Jaw family day weekend. This was one of the targets we wanted to hit on our visit. Not only was the restaurant closed Sunday, and had no sign posting hours, and we had to go pull on all the doors,but was also closed Monday with also no signage. I had to call many times and there was no recording saying whether open or closed besides a google site saying open Mondays. I am very disappointed with the lack of courtesy and professionalism demonstrated in the communication to the public about hours of operation, as that was one of the places we wanted to attend during our stay. After the 4th call someone answered the phone and had a bit of attitude while saying they were closed "on the holiday". I will not be attending this place again.

What can I say but u are depriving yourself if u dont try this place at least once.. just aww and amazement... I ordered the battered mushrooms as u would anywhere else and u get the 6 to 10 little pre made battered mushrooms... wow was I wrong .. I think they cost $11 .. which is about normal.. it was a fest for a small village and their second cousins.. it filled a wing basket .. and they were hot .. and crispy .. just amazing... nothing I have had like that could even touch the amazingness that those mushrooms were ... to top it off as Rindsay .. ????????????????.. brings my burger and fries to me with the almost evil smile to say oh ya .. good luck getting this into u too.. mauhahahahaha.. I once again was blown away by the quality and quantity of food this place was serving.. the service received I thought was amazing.. they were busy but still took that time to say hello and mean it .. i would say the other 2 ladies names but I'm in fear I might spell the bartender's name wrong and the other never told me her name ???? but she never served me either.. so .. ok .. fair enough... the atmosphere.. was almost like having supper ar home with you family.. I will be back .. a drink.. mushrooms and burger...wasnt even 40 .. that's a good deal in my books

I was very pleased with their Scotch selection. So many bars and small pubs just have the usual unexciting selection. These folks you could tell were enthusiasts! They had 10 plus Scotches from each and every region of Scotland. I was so excited I was almost giddy. The bar keeps and serving staff were so friendly and interactive even though they were working their tails off.

For $1 a person you can have teams of up to 8 to compete in four rounds of 10 questions. Between every round there is a "Bobby's Pint" awarded to a lucky person in the bar. Awards include beer, appetizers, and gift certificates. Always a good time!

Food was delicious, service was just plain AWFUL ! Waitress took our order and that was the last we ever seen of her. A guy brought our food out and that was the last we seen of service. No second beer tonight I guess, no how are things tasting, no no 2nd contact. Then proceed to wait for our bill for an extra 25 mins not a single acknowledgement of our existence. I usually tip 20-25% but not tonight big fat goose egg for you lady. P.S. this happens every time with this waitress. There was lots of vacant tables so being busy was NOT an excuse. We actually had to go to the bar to pay our bill so we could leave.

It was definately my goto spot after a hard day's work. Battered mushrooms are amazing, Wednesday wings night were to die for! Really loved all the servers there, very nice and friendly!

This is a rare gem! I went to Bobby's Place after my husband said it was awesome. Right away when you walk in it's busy.... but it feels so warm and cozy. It feels like a right Scottish pub should. The liquor menu is stocked and features some premium scotches aged up to 21 years! I stuck to water but I enjoyed some delicious shepherd's pie. The food is fresh and the service is amazing! It is perfect for a night out!

My problem is with the acoustics especially when it is busy. Voices carry so there's a constant din. Makes it difficult to follow a conversation, and nearly impossible at a large table.

The service was incredible from the minute we walked in the door until we left, the beer selection was really good, the mussles were some of the best we'd ever haf, and the Yorkshire PuddPud and Fish and Chips were amazing! Huge portions - we couldn't finish it all. They had a band starting just as we were leaving, so we stood and watched them for a few minutes and they were great too! Great vibe, awesome experience, definitely would recommend!

Ok Moose Jaw... my wife and I lock the car, grasp each other tightly by the hand, took a deep breath and decided to actually go out for a real lunch date sitting at a restaurant and everything. Bobby's place was fantastic the atmosphere was amazing. The story on the menu of the origin of the place was punctuated by a visit by the current owners who just exemplified the welcoming atmosphere of a true traditional Canadian Celtic bar. The new Norm is in fact difference yet the same. Food was fantastic Ambience great. Will definitely come back

What a wonderful place!!! Went on a Wednesday and it was packed and was still served right away! I ordered a craft peanut butter beer from a brewery in Yorkton it was delicious. And let me tell you about the food!! I ordered bangers and mashed that came with a side of vegetables. EVERYTHING was done in house. No pre done box/frozen food on my plate. It's very rare for me to completely finish a plate as I'm a heavy critic when it comes to restaurants being in the industry for 15 years. Pint of beer finished, plate completely cleaned. Fast friendly service and food didn't take long either. Keep up the great work. I read the history card. Your dad would be proud.

Bobby's is always such a welcoming, cozy place to sit down, chat, and have a drink or two, or five. Its a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel like you're going to leave the pub and step foot out onto a lush Irish pasture. The food is scrumptious and exactly what you'd expect from an authentic Irish pub. The service is a tad unorganized but they make up for it with welcoming smiles and friendly attitude.

First of all the salt shaker didn't work. The fries were soft and wilty. The fish batter was soggy with oil. So tried just the fish it was tasteless. It didn't taste like cod. I tried to fix it with ketchup but it was a cheaper brand so that didn't work. I gave 1 star because the waitress was nice. Although when I explained why I couldn't finish my meal. She said sorry and hoped we would come back and try again. ? would you?

You will not be disappointed with this place. Awesome fish bites, great burgers and steaks. Yorkshire pudding is one of my favorite meals from this place. It can get really busy during supper so head in early and grab a seat.

We stopped in here late (10pm on a Wednesday) we were expecting that if we were lucky they might be serving up some greasy bar food. Instead we were surprised they had a full menu at that late. I had the Yorkshire Pudding and it was fantastic. My husband had the 3 Little Pigs burger and he said it was so good! We also hit wing Wednesday and were not disappointed! Our waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere of the Irish pub was great! We will be back!

I love this place. Staff is super friendly. The Caesar salad is to die for and East Coast poppers are amazing! Now if they would only replace the TV that makes everyone on look like they are deprived of oxygen... that would be outstanding. Update October 2020. Unfortunately they don't make their own Caesar salad dressing anymore. I won't be ordering it again, Sysco's idea of Caesar salad dressing, is beyond bland. Also during this time of Covid, public places are to be spaced out, and 6 at a table. Well the spacing was ok I guess, but one table had 10 people around it. It was like that all night during trivia. I definitely won't be back until their protocol is up to snuff. Sorry Bobby's, you have failed.
