Our party of 7 went for supper before a Paint Nite event. The restaurant was fairly empty and we ordered simple items such as mussels, burgers, nachos and deep fried mushrooms. The mussels were the first to arrive 35 minutes after the order was placed. Ten minutes later the nachos come out....another 5 or so minutes the rest of the meals arrive. The burgers were wrong, mussels undercooked and the servers only excuse was the kitchen was slow. By the time the burgers were corrected, there was not enough time to eat it cause an hour and 15 minutes had already passed and it was time for us to paint. I went for breakfast a few months ago and the service and quality of food was the same. No more Igloo restaurant for me!

This from a regular customer. My experiences of the last few weeks here have been at best sad. A December long holiday menu that was wasn't available on the 23rd. Twice in the last month, where I wasn't even asked if I wanted anything to drink. Again today, Boxing day. Stayed at the bar for the better part of an hour and never once asked if I wanted something to drink or eat. I'm now sitting across the road eating a 1/4 Pounder and drinking a McD's cofee while writing this.

This review is regarding breakfast. I ordered Egg Benedict. I waited 40 minutes to get my food. Food wasn't good. The egg Benedict wasn't good frozen fried potatoes were bland. The orange juice tasted diluted with water. Total price 19$. Without coffee. For that price I can go to a place like Cora and have a much tastier breakfast or a place like Heinz and pay alot less. Won't be going there again

Let me start this review with a question. Have you ever been at a restaurant that was great the first few times, but then dropped the ball so hard one time so bad that you just never want to go back? That's what happened to us.... My girlfriend and I thought we had found our friday night treat with the surf n turf. We went a few weeks in a row and it was absolutely delicious. The problem I have is with the service this LAST time. We sat down, and as usual the server comes over and asks what we would like to drink. Normally I would really balk at paying 2.50 for a can of pepsi, but the food is good, so we suck it up. We then proceeded to watch every table around us (that came in AFTER we did) get brought placemats and utensils. then menus. then have their order taken. all this time we are slowly sipping away at our overpriced soft drinks just to be ignored by the food server until we had enough of sitting and being treated like invisible people. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere (where we were served quite promptly...it would seem your staff could take a lesson or 2 about service from a fast food restaurant) It really is a shame that the service staff dropped the ball so hard, because the food typically is very good and we WERE going to be regulars. The next time I pat 2.50 for a can of pop it will be at a concert or something where price gouging is expected. The only reason we did it at the Igloo was because the food is good, but if they don't want to take our orders or treat us like paying customers....there is no point. Sorry, Igloo for the 1 out of 5 stars. If I had of been able to give you half a star out of 5 I would have. Completely disappointed.

Been coming here for over a decade. Breakfast and lunch has always been great, the burgers are perfect, club sandwich is my 2nd fave. Staff is great, speed of service is great, even during busy hours. Cleanliness is great also. I give this place 4.5/5 but that's not an option so 5/5!

Steak was tender and juicy, and as good as it gets. They say 8 oz but was more like 10 oz. Came with mashed potatoes and a generous portion of onion rings and all for $11.99 plus tax on Thursday steak night. The place was packed but service was still in a reasonable time. Nice waitress named Joanne. They even had a magician entertaining the patrons while waiting to be served and a really good one at that, as professional as you see on TV. Highly recommended.

for fifteen year we go at the igloo without any problem everything was fun ...this year me my wife and kids go for the breakfast .(.if you go the weekend food is great but during the weeks is terrible he gave us a potato with uncook oignon on top we complaint we ask to see the manager because the waitress was not happy after us.the waitress told us to leave if we weren't happy.for 3 weeks week we try to contact the manager we leave a lot of message he never call us .one day we reach somebody who work their he say I remember you guy your the one who came here 2 time a week we have a meeting because you were not happy with the potato the new manager denis decide that your not welcome anymore ....poor service ..how many custumer that he lost in one shot ....

We ordered skip the dishes for Elmwood home style pizza and donairs thinking it was a new pizza joint. We were excited to try it for football Sunday. To our disappointment it is actually Igloo under a different name. It was over $50 and a 20 min drive into town for a soggy donair and a burnt garlic finger and pizza. Had we known it was Igloo under a new pretty name we would not have gone and spent that much. Also, no donair sauce was included in the ridiculous price.

We had a chicken finger platter and a clubhouse platter and it was beyond what we every expected. The fries were hot and crispy, but soft on the inside, my chicken was hot and sooooo juicy! My boyfriend said his clubhouse was incredible. He never had one with so much chicken and bacon on it!! Best part.. we got this quality of food through skip the dishes! I can’t imagine what kind of food and service we will get when we go to dine in person

Went for steak night, food was average at best, took almost 40 minutes for my table to get our food while other tables coming in much after us were getting their meals, the server finally came back and had the audacity to blame the two people for ordering their steaks medium well done. Though it may not seem like it from the outside, the Igloo Beverage Room offers a great compliment of pub food. Portions are well sized and well priced. The food was prepared quickly, but the quality did not suffer. Everyone at the table was pleased with the flavours and level of preparation. Meals arrived warm at the table and within only a few moments of each other. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. I look forward to going back sometime.
