Chicken wings, mango shakes and fries are all excellent and reasonably priced. But it's always very crowded so make sure to come sure to come here early to get the best service, but the quality of the shisha is very terrible, than again $9 shisha is unheard-of in GTA.

I was seated within few minutes. We were a group of 4. Had to wait for the rest, the staff was very cooperative, offered drinks, sheesha while I waited. When we finally ordered, it came quick, I got the Meat lovers on a Fattoush salad. The meat was dry and tasteless, hardly any dressing on the salad. Served in disposable containers and glasses. We also ordered tea and Arabic coffee, and sheesha. My double apple was spot on, they kept refreshing for as long as we were there. Really enjoyed the time and the sheesha after a long time. Disappointed with food yes but I went for sheesha and it was good. Staff very kind and courteous. I will be going again soon

I suggest you order the fries and the mango shake. I ordered a chicken burger but it wasn't good at all. The wait was okay. The washroom though was just disgusting. Someone threw up in the men's washroom and I told my server about it around 12am and I checked during closing time (3am) and it was still there. Just an awful experience.

Good sheesha. Not overpriced like other places. Really overcrowded. Be prepared to wait up to an hour easily on weekends for a seat. If you wanna reserve a table, you have to call about 30 times at 5pm (when they open) and hope they pick up. Staff is attentive . Food is ok..not great. Fries are great.

Always a great time at Mazaj. They have the best Shisa in town and the customer service is out of This world. The employees are always friendly and always go the extra mile to accommodate you. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great. Awesome place to come relax and unwind.

The waiter was like an instructor !we went there at 1 am and we were given instructions on how they would take away our sheeshas at 145 am and we could actuly feel the pressure as the waiters kept looking in there clocks . ????????It was funny though. If you don't want to work that long . Don't keep the damn place open dude !! It was like a time bomb waiting to diffuse . Sheesha was good ! Blue mist we tried . Loved it !

I used to love coming to this lounge, the vibe, the food, the ambiance was amazing, the service, unfortunately, disgusting. Just tonight while I was there with my sister and friend we had a milkshake and barbican and we were sitting and chatting, one of the staff - tall bald Arab fellow - came up to us and told us that if we wanted to stay, we’d have to order more items on the menu, otherwise we should leave. I was appalled and refused to stay another minute. It’s disappointing because this lounge was a favourite among my friends and I but after such humiliating and disgusting service, definitely wont ever be coming back here.

One of the worst experience in my entire life. My girlfriend asked for coke and the f***ing server in reply tried to talk dirty to her mentioning co** ever time. The manager however tried to compensate by saying,"he is our old employee please don't exaggerate things. We are sorry." I am one of their regular customers, have dinned there thousands of times and the same guy has served me before. I feel sorry for the owners who run this place with such unethical people. This kind of behaviour is just unacceptable! I'll never be back for sure.

Probably the best sheesha joint in the GTA! Food is always great and delicious, sheeshas are clean and function properly (smoke, taste, etc). Only down side to mazaj is sometimes it's gets really packed and the wait can take time...BUT it's definitely worth it!

Great place to hang out with friends. The service here is amazing and the food is even better. If you want a low key hang out with friends and family with some shisha highly recommended. It does get busy pretty fast so expect to potentially wait in line just to get a seat. This place doesn’t serve alcohol so don’t expect much if you’re looking for a bar atmosphere.

I am a long time customer of Mazaj. However my recent experience was a bit sub-par. I absolutely love their burgers and fries combo. It’s been my favourite for as long as I can recall. However, the experience tonight has really disappointed me, to a point where I am reluctantly writing this review. The burger was cold and for no good reason served wrapped inside a foil during my dine in visit. Bun was soggy and did not match any of the pictures posted previously or how I recalled it to be. Fries were great and definitely on point so that’s the only reason I’m leaving 3 stars. I may try out another time and try to revise my review.

Paan Shisha is the best!! Order a herbal tea with mint on the side and the night gets perfect. Chicken shawarma was good, better than some of the nearby shawarma restaurants. In all, a great shisha lounge to hangout with friends anyday of the week.

The first time I came here the mango milkshake was the greatest. Second time it didn’t taste as good, maybe their mangoes were having an off night? I don’t do shisha but come here often to chill with friends. My shisha addict friends love this spot so the shisha must be nice. The food portions are great. Staff is accommodating but sometimes will forget about you if it gets really busy.

I finally was able to go to a shisha lounge since the lockdown and I’m so glad I came here. The staff was so kind and welcoming the minute we walked through the door. The service is quick and they take their time with their customers to make sure they feel valid and heard. They kept checking on us and asking if we needed anything or were having a good time. The staff is so friendly and the service was amazing. I’m so glad I came here. Even though it’s kind of far from my house I’ll be coming here more often. I hope they keep patios open even after the pandemic because sitting outside made the experience nicer.

First time here, the food was sooo good! We had their zinger sandwich, which was really crispy and flavourful, the shawarma nachos were mouthwatering and the shawarma poutine hit the spot.

Food is really good and so is the shisha. Only dropping one star because of the ridiculous wait. There is always lineups when you go so make sure you expect it before going in. You may see people jumping the line and just sitting down and the servers will actually serve them because they have no idea what's going on. That's how busy it is there. Be a good semeritan and report these people. Be the hero this place needs.

My all time favourite lounge. Blue mist and freshly squeezed orange juice will be a great time with friends there. Servers are really helpful and nice. The waffal is amazing. But toilets are blocked and unclean as it needs regular cleaning during business hours which it dosent gets. Music and environment is great Overall Score 5/5.

Always an amazing experience here. Their servers can be attentive sometimes and haughty at other times, depending on who you get. They'll start your shisha for you and they have great flavours (my fave is mint). Don't event get me started on the food! Do yourself a favour and order a milkshake accompanied with the hummus plate to start. If you're feeling hungry later the shwarma plates are amazing. They also have a bunch of board games that you can play; this is a great place to hang out with friends but it's always busy so be forewarned.

It was a scene out of a cyber punk dystopia. A moderately lit room over brimming with people. Non distinct chatter over powers any immediate conversation. Smoke fills the air and a line stretches out the door. But it was Friday night so maybe it's a little less crowded during the week. Food twas alright.

I have been coming here since this place opened a few years ago. The staff is so amazing, friendly and accommodating. They take the time to get to know customers and will aknowledge repeat customers, which always makes you feel great. The food is always very fresh. Lots of Vegetarian options and great prices. The shisha is affordable and delicious flavors. Lots of boardgames to choose to play as well. Only thing I recommend is bringing back the ice hoses.

This place is garbage and worst customer service . There is this guy Marwan is worst customer service ever, I don't know who hired him and he should be staying home rather than serving customer. I Will never go again and I will never recommend it to anyone. Food taste bad and no quality at all.

There is also a mini gaming lounge where a ps4 is hooked up to the television with fifa running on it. There is also an outside sitting area for those who are not a fan of sheesha smoke everywhere.

I'm not the biggest sheesha fan, but it is a great hang out spot. Not only they do have a lot of flavours and specials for sheesha lovers, but they also have enough things for people like me that get tagged along. Good food, video games, live sports on tv, tea and board games. There is pretty good ventilation there as well so the room does not get filled up with dense smoke. Chilled out vibe through out the week, gets very crowded and starts feeling like a club on Friday and Saturday nights (dressed up crowd lining up outside the door)

Mazaj has delicious food and surprisingly quite a few yummy healthy options too. The prices are great for the quality of the food and for the quantity. I go back for take outs because I’m not a fan of shisha. However shisha lovers enjoy it. I would say it’s usually pretty packed inside. It would be best to be out in the patio if you plan on dining in.

I'm not a hater, I don't hate on restaurants, even though the food is halal and I'm a big advocate of having halal food. I got their Mazaj cheese burgers, 3 of them. When I used to go before and smoke shisha + have their food, it was blissful. Hands down solid 8/10. Last time I went, this was during the pandemic, 2 weeks ago. Their burgers and food was poor, and I dashed my food out. Paid $50 for the meal, and was overly optimistic, and I was disappointed.

Nice place but the service is absolutely revolting. Servers really need to be trained on their customer service. Portions of desert are much smaller than advertised, they overcharge you more than what items are listed on the menu, and servers will give you an attitude if you politely bring up a concern. Will never come back here again.

My worst experience at Mazaj today. Have been regular customer for over a year, and noticed that their service keeps getting worst. Today when we came in first no one came to take order for 15 mins. We came in at a no rush hour time 7pm, and there were several servers around. Then the owner/ manager took the order and we showed our disappointment to him about the service. He apologied and served us. However after the dinner when we ordered the Hookah, the hookah didnt came in for 20 mins. We talked to one server, who sent another server (in charge of our section) to our table who said he doesn't know that we ordered hookah. I told him I have ordered with your owner and he is like I dot know. So I got up from chair and asked him to come with me so that I can connect him to the onwer/manager regarding my order. The owner/manager said sorry and the hookah is on the house. And I told him I don't want free stuff. I just want to be served on time. The hookah came in the next two minutes. However, the server ( incharge of our section) told me not to talk to him like this. This was the final nail in the coffin for the mazaj. I was complaining to him about the service and the delays, whereas the server was talking it personal. So we just walked out! Recommendations to the owner/ manager--please train your staff correctly and ask them not to take it personal when a customer complains about the service. Additionally, have proper communication between the servers. It is not the job of yiur customer to explain the order to three different servers.

Overall was good, very overpriced though. I paid $10 for a smoothie that's in a tiny plastic cup. I understand they can't use the normal cups anymore, but at least reduce the price since the portions have drastically reduced. I also asked what goes on the nachos, and was told nothing, just plain. Only to get a ridiculous amount of black olives, banana peppers and beans, all of which I don't like. So it was a waste of $15 ordering nachos.

They employed a very unprofessional man that chooses to pick a fight and dispute with hijabi customers and tries to humiliate them because they are politely asking him to leave them alone. This worker was extremely disrespectful, quick tempered for no reason. I couldn't believe what I witnessed. One manager was reluctant to intervene and dissolve the unfortunate scene. This man is unstable. If you see a tall bald muscular guy working there that's him. I suggest sending him to a work place ethnic sensitivity course before his sets foot in any workplace environment again.

One of the better shisha lounges around, appetizers are actually decent and the drinks are delicious. It gets really busy on weekends and could take forever to get a seat. Vaping is not allowed, probably to force you pay for a shisha. Also the game boards are all a complete mess with missing/lost pieces so if you plan on playing a game while your here, bring your own.

I will not be returning to this establishment. The servers are clumsy and distant. They seem to communicate more in grunts and gestures then with words and expressions. The servers were knocking over costumers pipes as they passed through the tables and we did not receive all the items we ordered. What did come was burnt and near inedible. The cakes on display were drooping over as if they have been sitting there for ages. The only good thing about this place was the selection of cards and games you can choose from to take your mind off the rest of the place.

I have to agree the service isnt there. Walked in, nobody in line and had to wait around for 10 mins till nobody asked. There were 3 people standing around the cash. then walked up and asked if they had seating for 2, was to wait in line and someone will be with us (again, there was no line). Finally a person came and guided us to two spots between other people while a quarter of the place was empty. Asked if we can sit at another spot and they said no. No customer service skills whats so ever. I decided after this that its not worth it and looked up another Shisha Lounge nearby. Found another on Dixie and had a great time. Needless to say i cannot recommend this place at all... No Customer service, place also didnt look nice inside. Menu did look good and decently priced but unfortunately did not have the opportunity to try it.

Mazaj has a nice atmosphere. Servers are nice. One thing that puts them on top of other shisha places is that their food is actually delicious. I would literally go here just for the food too. I always got this mixed kebab plate or the Basha drink and it was so good! If you plan to go I'd recommend making a reservation because it can get packed after 9pm.

Been going here when they didn't even have a sign up. They've upgraded drastically with bigger dining space, board games, and tv's everywhere. The staff is still as friendly and hospitable as they were from the start, which kept me coming back to this location, regardless of how busy and crowded it got. The chicken wings are delicious and huge for the price and the shisha's are great - as always. Friday and weekend nights are very busy with about a 15/20 minute wait for a table for 2, but don't let that deter you from this hidden gem tucked in the side streets of an industrial plaza. Just don't use their bathrooms..

The food here is really amazing considering it's a shisha lounge. Shisha quality is decent and there's a variety of flavour and options. Staff is pleasant and quick. This place is busy, so it can get quite crowded and noisy. Prepare to wait in line for over an hour if coming on weekends.

I'm a daily shisha smoker, i've been to many shisha spots, i have NEVER experienced this horrible quality of tobacco. I smoke the same 3 flavours and they always taste the same at every hookah spot, except here. Not impressed.

While the place is packed at peak hours and can feel cramped, it is far and away an amazing place for both shisha and food. Great flavours, great atmosphere, great music. The food is also of very good quality, and the Mazaj Supreme is a monster of a burger. Excellent staff and prices too.

My girls and I went to mazaj and received the most awful customer service experience ever. We asked to sit in the lounge area which was completely empty. In fact mazaj was not busy at all, we were given 2-3 different options to choose from for our seating. We asked to be seated In the booth that is for 4 people once it's free, the tall Arabic looking bald guy very rudely said "NO not available". the lounge area where the couches are had 2 people seated on a 6 seat couch .. ofcourse the bald guy probably was relatives with those people that is why he gave them the lounge and rudely said no to us. Our server said he will get us a booth that seats four people, we decided to wait to order food until we are seated in the booth, server asked us to follow him to the booth and he will bring our sheesha as soon as all 4 of us girls got up to go to the booth the bald guy comes up and says no can't give it to u We immediately paid for the sheesha and left mazaj, such a HORRIBLE experience. If you are reading this I would recommend to go to haze sheesha lounge instead, the customer service is amazing, the sheesha is WAY better. Sheesha is $5 more than mazaj but trust me u feel a huge difference. We went to haze right after ordered delicious gourmet food prepared by their amazing chefs and the sheesha was 100 times better it didnt give that scratchy feeling in your throat like mazajs sheesha does. If you want sheesha go to haze. Don't go to baldy mans mazaj unless u want horrific customer service

Went there 2 times in the same week. First time the shisha was decent and food was pretty good. Place got really busy. Second time the pipe they brought me was already used and the flavour already burnt , told the server and he argued with me about it. Food was bland the second time. I have been coming to this place since it opened. But for a few years now some of the food products such as the philly steak sandwich, the shawarma plate and the mango shake quality has depreciated over time. It’s like the owners of the restaurant are sending a message that now we are doing good let’s make the food quality poor. The philly steak meat is dry and the sandwich has hardly any meat on it. Mostly it’s all the bun! As for the shawarma plate the shawarma meat is dry with high concentration of salt. The portions for it are very small it’s like a kids meal. Lastly, for the mango shake it’s like drinking syrup rather drinking a shake and it’s not even a sugary syrup. Over priced and diced with little or no taste.
