I used to stand by Sobeys, But they have so many kids working there now and that are very rude, to me and my daughter. My husband even left there one day insulted because of this and hes very laid back. We get glares when we walk in there. Plus most of their produce is going bad. Also its very overpriced. Ill be surprised if this even gets posted. Just being honest. Its luck to even get one star from me. And we even brought this to the stores attention once before and nobody cared.

Sobeys Newcastle is good for a quick grocery shop but I found the temperature inside to be a little cold and the options for products were very low. I'd suggest it for a quick stop to buy eggs milk or bread, etc. But if you need a substantial amount of groceries you should go to the Atlantic Superstore in Newcastle, or the Sobeys in Douglastown.

Some items are a bit overpriced compared to Walmart, Atlantic Super Store and Giant Tiger. But it's a very clean location and there is more variety. Especially for snacks and sea food and rare vegetables.
