Tried out Mike's Bar and Grill on Thursday which is their steak night. Service was friendly. The wait was a bit longer than expected but to be fair, it was a full house. Overall food and atmosphere was really good and I was surprised to get a very reasonable bill at the end. Would definitely return again.

Went there to grab a beer and some food with coworkers in the evening. The place was pretty much empty. Later at night, around 10 (Tuesday or Wednesday) they have karaoke night and more people show up. The food was decent. The special was 2 or 3 $ for either a hamburger, fries, onion rings or fish. The choice of beer was a bit disappointing however.

We recently moved here, and both hubby and I attend the timberwolves hockey when they play in town. We started going to Mikes, what we call our “date night”. The service is fantastic, very friendly. Food is good, its pub food, HOME MADE FRIES, yum!!. So we have eaten there a number of times and last weekend was our first bad experience. The fish and chips are great there, but on this trip, when I bit into them “ice-cold”. So I called the young lady over, and she deeply apologized, and said that she would get a fresh order, again apologized. My issue was that when we got both orders at the beginning, like i said I sent mine back, hubby kept his (I found out later his fish was barely warm) anyway hubby ate his meal, he was done by the time mine came and I ate mine buy myself. It was not and enjoyable “date night”. I thought to say the least they would offer me a discount on the bill, but no mention, and I actually should have said something. Anyway don’t let this sway you from enjoying great food and great service at Mikes. This was a glitch I’m sure.

The atmosphere is a lively and active bar. I was here for the food. I had the fish and Chip (my favorite food). I would rate this fish and chip as an 8/10. The fries where great and the fish was good. The batter on the fish was nice and thin and the fish tasted fresh. Fish was a little greesey for my taste. I do reccommend this place and the fish and Chip.

We just stopped in for a drink, they were one of the very few places actually open in Miramichi! The place was busy but not crowded, we got a table right away. Our server was friendly and attentive but not too attentive. I loved that we could have the local Timbers Ship Irish red on tap!

Clean friendly and really good food. Four of us ate, each a different meal and every one enjoyed their food. The chowder was excellent. I also had the clam strips which were quite good but shorter than I'm used to. Others had the eastern, the western and the fish & chips and all were very happy with their choices. I'm not sure they understand what a Greek salad is. It had so much green onion in it, I wasn't able to finish it. A Greek salad should have only green onion as a garnish. There was also only 2 pieces of feta and 3 olives. If they were out of ingredients, it would have been nice to know and I would have chosen another item on the menu!

Made reservation online - they never put it in their book. Good thing I'm a suspicious-type, and phoned to confirm the day before the event, and ensured they took the reservation, or my party of 10 would have been stuck at McDonalds. They lost a star off the review for that near calamity. Hopefully they remove the reservation form from the website, if they aren't going to use it.

First and last time going to this joint. I sense that a lot of these good reviews aren't true and authentic. The food was mediocre, I can make a tastier meal at home with a lot more flavor. The thing that did it for me however, was the less than sub par waitress whose priorities focused on flirting with other staff members and gossiping rather than bring a requested condiment over leaving me to ask twice. When a second drink was asked for, the same thing happened...she said "sure thing" and ended up forgetting about it. We even had to wait almost 10 mins for the bill. I'd also like to mention that the place was not busy whatsoever, there were two other tables with guests at the time. Oh well, lesson learned, I'm happy I finally went there and tried out the food but I'm also very happy to never return there ever again. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It boggles my mind sometimes, it's not rocket science on how to provide good service, even exceptional service...it's not hard at all. Yet this place seems to think money is made by ignoring the paying customers and flirting with staff. I was also informed on their unprofessional antics with staff partying after hours, used condoms everywhere, drugs, etc. Keep er classy Mike's, soon there will be no customers and no one to pay your bills!

There’s a lot of things I can say about mikes grill and none of them are good. Service is absolutely terrible and food is even worse. When I go to a bar I think of great service and and great food and having a great time with friends and family this was the exact opposite. Service was lousy and was not up to par. Took forever to get food and even longer to get refills of your favourite alcohol and or drinks. Me and my friends were constantly reminding the server to get us refills and to no avail we were left thirsty and annoyed. This is by far the worst bar experience I’ve ever had. I would never recommend this place to a friend or worst enemy. I would rather get drunk at a god damn chucky cheese than at this place thanks
