We hosted our wedding at the Manitoba Club this January. Everything about our experience was phenomenal. Working with Shaelynn from the start was perfect! She was organized, detail orientated and always contributed great ideas and suggestions about how we could make our wedding day perfect. She also coordinated our rehearsal which went very well. On the wedding day we were able to relax and enjoy our day as Shaelynn and Bevis were running the show! Bevis managed the evening reception and always ensured the staff were on the ball. The service was amazing, our dinner buffet went seamless, and the transition into the dance was also great. The bartenders were serving great drinks and the overall atmosphere of the Club was classy and felt very special. Thank you to everyone at the Manitoba Club who made our wedding so perfect!

The atmosphere of the Manitoba Club is amazing. It was formal, yet relaxing. The setting is as beautiful as it is historic. The food was exquisite. The four-course meal was delightful and full of flavor. The lobster bisque was delicious. The fois gras was amazing. The steak was tender and juicy. The lobster tail was prepared perfectly. The dessert was delectable. Our server knew wines very well and recommended two, a red and a white, both from Washington state. We were not rushed during our meal, making the evening a wonderful dining experience.

In regards to wedding reception, bar is mediocre as they provide simple social type of drinks not cocktails. Food also very mediocre, no different than the Fairmont. Very nice history and age to the building, but obviously an elitist atmosphere which is negative.

Super place. Whether dinner with the family, meeting for business, or a few drinks with friends they never disappoint. The staff is absolutely amazing. Also the sommelier they have is awesome, and the wine choices at the club and to being home are amazing (in value and taste). The reciprocal clubs and catering services are really nice too. A highly lavish special event venue with all the amenities for a classy wedding or formal gathering/party. Although conveniently located at the corner of Main and Broadway, I didn't even know this place existed until attending a wedding there this summer. Beautiful decor; great food/hospitality service; and wonderfully preserved, century-old architecture. Amazing dance floor! Acoustics are not the best inside the building. Glad to hear the historic club is no longer exclusively for wealthy, white males.
