I've been a customer since it's reopening 9 year ago. It as gone many changes. Staff, owners and decors. But one thing remains the same. The parties or off the hook. There is always someone new to meet and I have made great friend their over the years. The staff is always on point the DJ's sets fire to the dance floor. There is something for everyone. Unfortunately I don't have any photos to prove my existence in this place (and I usually do!) but I 100% remember the infamous red door. I also remember the comment my teeny tiny girlfriend made to the big burly bouncer, calling him cute and making him blush and smile lol. That was a great indication that this place was going to be awesome, and it was! ;)

Decent place, but with a pretentious vibe. We dropped in around 7pm on a weekday. We had wanted to go to the Darling but it was jam packed. So we walked down the block to Jack Rouge which was completely empty. The host asked us if we had a reservation. It was hard not to laugh because it was totally empty besides us. He said he would check to see and made us wait before being seated.

Nous ne somme jamais retourné et nous n'avons jamais récupéré l'argent de notre bouteille. La place est agréable, il est dommage que leur portier ne la représente pas dutout.

Last December I went to the bar “La Porte Rouge” (The Red Door) and I was expecting it to be kind of a sequel to The Green Door and I was really looking forward to discover what was Behind it. Unfortunately, there was no Ivory Soap Girl named Marilyn here, only (relatively) normal people doing (relatively) normal things such as getting drunk. No midget sex or anything of the sort. I was kinda of disappointed until Santa Claus arrived around midnight and a jolly good time was had by all. (Except for Joe, but no one likes Joe, not even Joe likes Joe, so that’s okay)
