A group of us tried to go to the bar after an event upstairs in the legion finished around 8pm this past Saturday, only to find out that the bar had closed at 7pm. There were about 200 people at the event upstairs, so even 10% of them stopping by the bar downstairs afterwards would have been good business for the legion. I would not be surprised if the only reason the legion isn't going bankrupt is thanks to the initiative of user groups in town choosing to host events there, since closing a bar at 7pm on a Saturday when you already have 200 potential customers in your building doesn't sound like a great business model.
