We went into Samz Pub (was looking for a great pub in Langley and this one is right on the Surrey/Langley border) during the afternoon on a Thursday a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. Couple plates of wings on special, drinks and was pleasantly surprised that the service was attentive too. My wife and I are definitely going back here again to try some of their other daily specials. Nice that they have a liquor/beer store attached here too - convenient!

I've been here a few times and have no conplaints. If you're craving pub food and a few beers this place is perfect. The specials are cheap and with good portion sizes. The washroom has always been clean whenever I've gone. There is a nice outside patio with a retractable awning, which is super nice to sit at while you're sharing a pitcher and a plate of nachos with your friends.

Went there on a Saturday to have some pub goodies. Munched on some awesome nachos and wings. It was a great experience and the pub is very clean. The atmosphere is a little lacking if your looking for a good ol' pub to watch the game, it really modern looking. But you can't beat the prices quality food and service.

Ok .. comfy pub. HOWEVER .. the service is absolutely the WORST I've ever experienced. My server is not only ignoring my table but shess rude. I physically got up to ask the bar staff for an order. It's not busy .. NO need for anything other than good service. The food ... on par with pub food but do NOT expect anything special here ... basic pub food is all you will get. Either way .. the service or lack of ... will keep me and my friends away in the future. Too many options to get treated poorly.

Great local hangout - service is usually pretty good, food is pretty good too! It's a place where a lot of regulars go ("Norm"!) But newcomers are always welcome! Great place to watch the game, tons of TVs everywhere. Plus (in my opinion) one of the best patios in the valley - open all year round as it can be closed up and has great heaters. Also has great daily specials, so if you're looking to save some $$ check out their deals (menu is on their website). Tuesday $1.50 tacos - always a favorite!

Great little neighborhood pub. Friendly service with a cozy atmosphere. Amazing food that is not overpriced and even though the pub was pretty much full when we were there, we got our food fairly quickly. They do have a pretty big parking lot but it does fill up during the busy times. Highly recommended if you want to hang out with friends and watch the game.

I like to come here for their Caesars especially the skewers on the drink. They garnish it with pickled beans, olives, pickles, pepperoni sticks and cheeses. It's like a little snack with your drink. Tastes so good and the staff are friendly. This place is usually packed.

We were a party of 12 and many of our dishes were poorly cooked. Dry meat, stale taco shells, and not to mention horrible and poor customer service. I told our server her tacos were stale and she said "that's how they come." a friend ordered a simple cheese stick plate and it came 45 mins later. 2 of the same dish were also ordered but only one came. Overall, bad bad bad. Very displeased.

Been here a few times, great neighborhood pub for fair prices and great food. Our server today was Sabrina and she went the extra mile for us! It was the little things and her positive attitude. This was refreshing as we stopped visiting because the service needed improvement. The attitude of the servers in general, even tonight we watched a server complain about her table and their needs...not sure how she's been there so long. Management and professionalism could improve. But today was a sign of better days for Samz!

I definently would not recommend getting the steak and prawn special. The price was good yes but our steaks were way overcooked, prawns were rubber and the "seasonal vegetables" were a pile of chewy frozen corn. I would have rather payed more and have had an edible meal. We would have said somthing but the waitress did not even ask how our food was. Would not return for any food.

we went on Saturday afternoon and it was packed we sat on patio. its enclosed with a heater but others in my group wanted it off and I was chilly. the nachos we just ok. they need to be under cooker longer. just the top was melted. didnt read the description good enough so were disappointed to see pickles peppers. totally out fault. tortilla soup was o.k. appreciated you can substitute without extra charge. the turkey and brie sandwich was good as was the ceasar salad.

I stopped here after a tough day rebuilding a rotor screw compressors. I happen to go in at their happy hour. I ordered dry ribs and had 3 beers. Food was great, beer was cold and the server was very nice and helpful. My first experience at Sam's was excellent, and $21.00 dollars for what I had was very good value. Great place will go again.

This place is a great pub/restaurant. I really like the food. A lot of regulars and they pretty friendly as are the staff. You can leave your car over night if you have had too many. Great place and liquor store staff next door (attched) are awesome too. Prices are a bit high. You can go to different bars in area with a bit better deals (wings here are not very meaty and not cheap)

This local pub has a great menu and good drinks - they have daily specials and happy hour which we like to visit for. The patio is closed so open year round (it can be opened up though for the warmer days). The staff are all friendly and very efficient. It’s often quite busy so you may have to park on the street but we’ve never had to wait for a table.

Stopped in for brunch. The breakfast was piping hot and delicious. Ceaser and Mojito were superb. Tanya was absolutely brilliant.

Never again will we go to this dump. Miserable servers, slow service and the food definitely not worth the wait.
