Bad space to actually see a live act. Small stage, and they force you to pay for water and don't facilitate guests getting tap water! It's gotta be unsafe to charge people nearly five bucks for water at the bar when you're serving liquor. I would seriously avoid it for any band or other live act.

The Lookout/ Tower part of this Centre was awesome. I try to always go when I visit Vancouver and you can see everywhere from way up high.

Dirty broke down venue. The performer we went to see actually stopped his show 30 seconds in to tell the sound guy off and to fix everything but you can't fix this place, it's broken.

I was there years ago. I remember having a great time there because it's so spacious! lots of tables to sit down when needing a break from dancing. lots of places to dance and drink. and just remember the air quality was good. I felt really good there and had a great time there.

A depressing and dilapidated former casino space with terrible acoustics. Despite the outer appearance, there are no windows to the water. Dismal bar (they serve Budweiser only and at a steep price). Stay clear of this place.

Nice place for an event, my son really enjoyed the collection show. However it was a bit hard to find for the building had no number on it and there were no signs to lead to the place. Great staff for they were friendly and helpful.

I loved this place. Its big and roomy with 4 bars to choose from. They have a nice set up, nice stage etc. Great workers & management, I recevied wonderful treatment & enjoy the concerts/events here!!

Security wouldn’t let me and my friend re-enter despite us having our tickets and vaccine cards saying it was closed when the main DJ just came up on stage. We only went out for a quick min to make sure our friend was going home safely. It’s important to note that he did let another couple re-enter, just not us. We paid $50 for the event and waited more than two months just to be disappointed.

Awful venue for live music. Went here for a Clairo concert and we couldn't hear the opening artists at all even after an incredibly long wait for tuning and adjustments. Security going through the doors was un-thorough to the point someone could definitely have brought in something dangerous. No visible security from the front of the crowd, which was kind of scary because if I got hurt or dizzy and needed to be pulled out I likely wouldn’t have any help. Bag check was expensive, show had horrible sound quality for amazing performers, awkward set up with no barriers for the “stage” and no wifi. Might be a fun club but definitely not worth the money to go to a concert here.

Run down space vibes always bad, and security guards are very rude. Wanted to go through my wallet for no apparent reason and then tried to charge me and my friends 40$ each when it was a free event. Doubt the artist would’ve seen any of that money.

I went here only for the hardstyle music artists. In my opinion this is not that good place for music artists. This place is a club and there is a mix of people who are there for music artists and those regular club goers who drink alcohol in the crowd who are there to probably get laid. What needs to happen is for the music artists to be invited not in a club but a place elsewhere where you know only the actual fans will be there to enjoy the music. It's a bit discouraging when you go for just the hardstyle artists and theres people who are there for other reasons. This is the closest place that hosts many hardstyle shows and artists. So many my favorite artists play live here.

Probably the worse sound quality I've experienced at a show, the DJs who performed were bad enough, the sound quality just made it more unbearable, hope y'all can make some improvements.

They didn't allow me to sit on the floor yet they didn't have any single seat in the whole venue. The security dude first used a flashing light pointing to me, i didn't even understand that. And then he found that didn't work, he came to me and said it's not allowed to sit on the floor. He could just come tell me instead of use a flash light thought i could understand him, it's so rude i left the venue immediately, not planning coming back.

No re-entry, no smoking area, the ATMs are broken. Sure I should be expected to buy my drinks with a credit card, but I don't have one so I can't pay for the overpriced drinks. Two beers and a Jagerbomb costing $29 with the last bit if cash I had left. The roof is leaking. I'm sad I have to watch one of my favorite bands here. Can't buy band merchandise now.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Literally the worst venue ever, never thought a venue could ruin a concert for me but Harbour Event Centre accomplished that with flying colours. They transforred the old Casino into a “venue” but put zero effort and resources into. Terrible staff, terrible venue, terrible sound, wack crowd. Never ever going back.

They improved their sound system and it sounds so much better! Open space with lots of room to dance. Their visuals are phenomenal and to top it off, they have confetti. Always bringing the best DJs to town. I love their venue and environment. Best club in Vancouver by far!

So sad to have paid to see one of my favourite performers in a space like this. I wonder what artists think when they show up to a mall environment built in the 80's with terrible sound and layout for crowd. Everyone in the crowd was talking about how awful the space was. You can't focus on the show because of all the physical distractions around the stage that no amount of lighting could fix. the sounds was awful and from upstairs in the balcony it was not loud enough to drown out others talking. Will avoid going to see anyone there again.

This venue is terrible. Likely the worst in the city. It is an old Casino that has been repurposed. They have simply dropped a stage in the middle of the main hall. The sounds is not good, the Stage is too low, the ceilings are too high. The ironic thing is that there is in fact a theatre in this venue upstairs. The building was also not designed for mass entry. They are unable to efficiently deal with lines. Honestly. Just avoid at all costs. The show is impacted by the venue.

Provided no refunds or updates on "postponed" events. They didn't do it for Darren Styles and if you look on their FB page its seems the same for Aly & Fila and Cosmic Gate. Will not be coming back here when things reopen, but that's a blessing in disguise since the venue was terrible anyways.

I love the hardstyle shows here, bouncers have always been chill, bartenders cool, and nice crowd. Wish there were more hardstyle events though.

Pretty comfortable space I guess, but brutal sound.....like brutal. Couldn't make out the words whatsoever. It took forever to fill the place. The longest line we've ever been in....seriously. We thought the staff were fine but I would never go there again no matter who was playing.

The most run down ghetto place to see a concert. Was there 2 days ago, it was super hot and it seemed over sold so there was no way to move. The bar ran out everything, from coke to vodka, rum and beer. It’s a concert that’s 19+ a Friday on a long weekend, how do you not prepare for it. Would never go back.

Been there to see frontliner. Visual system is great but sound sucks ass. Bass is to low and if he played tracks with more bass the sound system couldn’t handle it and it became distorted. Also warmup djs didn’t even play anything near to hardstyle so it was kinda boring to wait till frontliner finally came...

This is a good venue. I went there for Machine Gun Kelly Concert. He was awesome!!!! There were two down parts that is why I gave it 4 stars. There are no seats so you are standing the entire night. We showed up at 9pm which is when the tics said it would start and the concert didn't end till 2am. Standing for that long in heels is impossible. So if you do go there for an event Women do not wear heels wear comfy shoes to get the night. Other than that it was a great place.

I know you have to have a bit of a complex to work security at a nightclub, but these guys (one guy in particular - tall east Indian with a big beard) took it to another level. A good way to create problems out of thin air - be unnecessarily rude to otherwise orderly people. transparently power tripping. bad vibes. big thumbs down
