Tuesday night 6:30pm place not too busy yet takes 15 minutes to get a beer! Ordered the fish and chips with no coleslaw or tarter sauce! I did add garlic bread to my order just to see if they would charge for it and how much! Garlic bread is good and also the fish but the fries are luk warm! What does someone have to do to get a glass of water with his meal?? Looks like water is an option one needs to ask for or you do not get any at leDt at this establishment! Waitress very friendly but the food misses the mark!!

Ordered the potato crusted cod bowl for pick up. Ordered at 7:05pm told to pick up in 35 min. I arrived at approx. 7:35 and my order wasn't ready I paid for my order and was told it we be about 5min. It was obvious by watching the staff that someone had neglected to put the order in and now they were rushing. No one said that though. 15 min later they gave me my order. When I got home and opened it up I realized that the fish was not cooked and there was no dressing on the salad nor was any provided. I had to cook the fish in order to be able to eat it. This is my favourite dish at Browns and I was very disappointed in the service and food.

Had the baja fish tacos with cowboy salad for $16. Though the fish was served lukewarm, I enjoyed my meal. For the same price, the burger quality isn't as good as a comparable restaurant like Joey.

Food was not bad , the waitress was sooooo slow our food was not totally hot , so it probably would have been better. She also had no idea if the menu item , butter chicken, was spicy or not and didn't offer to find out. She never came to see how our food was after it was brought out and we had to ask another waitress for our bill.

This was my first time dining with my family on Family day at this location. The food was great though. I am giving 2 stars as I even don't know how to rate my happy hour experience or better yet manager's response on my question: why is the social larger 14 oz that is priced at $4 on the online menu is actually being served as 12oz? She said: "I understand the confusion because the hard copy menu shows 375 ml for the social larger which is 14 oz" I said that I would like to get what I ordered based on the online menu. Anyways, the manager said she would "honor the online menu only once for me and no more". Anyways, we haven't ordered any more beer after that and our bill wasn't corrected and we were not offered anything from the house. So, keep in mind that they don't follow their menu. Who knows what else they advertise at a certain portion size and customers are getting less than what they pay for. I wasn't impressed and would rather go elsewhere.

Browns is a solid Langley option for weekend brunch, lunch or dinner; the problem with this location is that it's their area test kitchen, so menu items that you fall in love with might last only a short while--RIP tuna tacos :( At night (especially weekends) the place is pretty sports bar-ish, but my husband and I love coming for their brunch (usually the dining room is quiet and the tvs less obnoxious). I am a big eggs benedict addict, and I always surprise people when I tell them that one of my favorite eggs bennies in Langley is at Browns; they have a very nice hollandaise, and use prosciutto instead of the traditional ham slice, which gives it a bit of a foodie edge. They used to serve it with goat cheese, which was a great choice since the sweetness cut the saltiness of the prosciutto just perfectly, so the current version of the eggs benny is definitely not as delicious as it used to be but it's still a good Langley brunch option.

Good service till our bill came felt like a while for her to bring a machine. I had to ask. The food was delicious and the drinks were well made, consistent food and flavor at each browns. The only reason i was bothered was because my drink and water were empty and it was hot out, after our bill came.

Went with my ex and our daughter to have a few drinks to celebrate her turning 19. Cocktails and shots were $8-$8.50 each. Waitress and waiter were nice. She gave myself and my daughter a free green tea shot which was nice but we didn't like the taste of them.

The staff are amazing and so is the food and affordable drinks menu. All brown's locations are covid safe and are following proper protocols. There's no excuse, it's all good!

Overall great staff and good food, I ordered two drinks a Moscow mule and a social soda with watermelon vodka they were both ok not amazing drinks thou I get Moscow mules almost everywhere I go because it's my favorite drink and I was sadly very disappointed with this one , definitely would still go back as the overall experience wasn't bad the only other issue I had was the tuna roll is ok its more of a overpriced sushi roll in my opinion though but I also got some other appetizers and they were delicious and definitely worth the price.

Great place to eat. The food is very good. My wife and I like to get brunch here because the benny is the best in all of Langley. A bit sports-bar ish but that's ok. The service is always good and there are a lot of booths which is how I prefer to eat.

I love kind people and great food. Browns, in Langley, is my go to for both aspects. I’m always so happy with my order and even better, have such appreciation for the friendliness of the servers. With 3 Jenna’s as amazing bartenders you can’t go wrong. Throw a little Vinnie in the mix and my visit is complete. Today it was black haired Jenna (there really are 3) who made my visit with my friend perfect. Attention to detail and oh man….that laugh. You have a gift Jenna.

I want to thank Brown’s Social House at this specific location for doing an amazing job at remedying our last experience, my spouse Denise Ballard wrote the review. The Assistant General Manager phoned me directly and was very kind and made both of us feel like valued customers and provided us a gift certificate for our next visit. Browns is a 5 star for us at this location and we eat there once or twice a month and will continue to come here. I believe the last experience was an honest mistake as we all make mistakes, but we love the food and the experience when we dine there. Ordered their Oreo desert, came with free elastic bands, in case I needed a reason to throw up? The worst part was the lack of a proper reaction from the server. How do you end up with elastic bands around food, they must have made these deserts in the office?

They are okay and good atmosphere, the staff are lost or dizzy sometimes, extra long wait times at busy hours! The kitchen or order makers are missing items more than standard rate! Couriers hate this place for unprofessional staff asking and giving out orders! Not enough parking spots either.

Updated *** June 15, 2019 - We went back here and had the blackened chicken cowboy with no dressing for the wife and I had the crispy chicken taco during the happy hour. Damn that taco was good and with the Chipotle sauce on it. It's a must if you like heat!! Of course, I had the gravy again!!! Oh man. Our waitress was spot on for drinks and making us feel welcome here. Thanks for the suggesting social hound drink..It's was delicious!! Hands down the best social place . If you get some fries , you must have the gravy its epic !!! Crispy chicken sandwich is wickly good with the right amount of heat from the mayo chili

We visited here on the weekend. My dad wanted to take our family out as a treat, something we rarely get to do. He called and made a reservation for 9 people and clarified which location as we live in Maple Ridge but only the Langley restaurant had availability for that large of a number. When we arrived the hostess said sorry we don't have your reservation it must be another location and brushed us off. We confirmed the number that was called for the reservation and it was the right restaurant and still the hostess said we don't have your reservation. I have never met someone so absolutely rude and never at a restaurant. We continued to ask if they could fit us in but she did not seem at all interested in helping us. Then we were told to wait outside as another person attempted to help us. It was freezing and then they kicked us outside of the restaurant as we were taking up too much room. I was appalled at how rude and unhelpful the hostesses were! We tried calling other restaurants but of course on a Saturday night they were all full. Eventually they found 2 tables (we had to sit across from each other) but again the hostess was absolutely rude about bringing us to the new seats. I would highly recommend anyone booking here to receive a confirmation and make sure your reservation is confirmed for larger parties. The waitress was lovely and extremely good at her job which made our experience much better and I thanked her for making out night better. They did comp our appetizers which was appreciative and the meal was excellent. However, I will not be returning to this location.

I grabbed a bite here. Was a great place and our patio booth was comfortable and spacious. The food was good and prices were fair for portions. Staff was friendly and approachable. Had lots of gluten free options. Little spicy but overall still really tasty. Old fashion I had was tasty.

Service was pretty bad, didnt give us small plates for our table to share appetizers, or utensils, also did not check up on us at all or ask how our food was. Took a very very long time to bring us our drinks. And didn't give us enough napkins for our nachos. Also no toilet paper in the bathroom. Great job guys ????

Great space, friendly and fast service, tasty options! Went with a group of young adults following a conference to chat. Patio seating was perfect, and still felt private. Tomatoes soup was amazing - pesto-y and creamy! Fries were done well with the aoili dip that we all fought over. Food came with just the right amount of waiting so we could chat.

Had an order for pickup tonight....arrived, food was out...but they said they don't have my bill and need to locate it.... I waited over ten mins as they looked about(as did my food on the pick up desk). After 15 mins they printed my bill so I could take home my cold food :) and cold it was. Also, I had asked for some toppings to not be on the meals ordered... They were included anyways. Tonight was a disappointing dinner. 3 stars for my overall experiences with browns, but only 1 star for tonight's.

Called 50 minutes ahead for pick-up. Arrived and order not ready. Stood and waited another 37 minutes for food to be ready. So 1hour, 27minutes for food to be made. 5 minute drive home, opened up boxes and tacos and sandwiches were soggy, like they had been sitting around. I don't understand. Either the food wasn't made ahead of time and it would have been fresh....or it was made and sat there and got soggy while they couldn't find the order.

1st and last time. Very slow, poor service. We requested 2 large glasses of ice water. Got 2 small with no refills. I ordered the blackened chicken cowboy salad. It came without the chicken. By the time the server came back, ordered the chicken, it came when everyone had finished eating. My husband was asked what side he wanted, he asked what came with it. He was given his choices, but it was an add-on on the bill. Comes with usually means included. High prices, for amount recieved. Too much deep fried. Not many healthy choices

My go to in langley. Come here about twice a month. I've never had bad service and the staff are always very professional and work hard. Menu is great and beer on tap is fresh. I highly recommend coming during happy hour (3-5) great deals on pints and food. Social IPA for the win. Thanks Browns!

I’m a frequent customer of Brown’s all over the Lower Mainland. The nachos are fabulous with tons of stuff on them. They make great burgers too. Their evolving menu is innovative and keeps things interesting. Overall a very consistent chain restaurant. Today I was very surprised at the level of service and care provided by the Langley location. Cassi went out of her way to ensure all of our needs were met. The overall culture of this location had a higher level of service and attention to detail. Cassi and the staff definitely stood out and make this location one of the best.

Just stopped by called ten minutes before arriving asking wait times they said 15-20 so I went in to reserve a table and was told 25 minutes and to “wait around the restaurant” understandable. So I wait in my running vehicle because it’s pouring rain and freezing outside I call after half an hour they say my wait time was 30-45 minutes? I tell her that’s not what I was told and she says “you must have misheard her” when I didn’t. Don’t waste your time here.

The food waw alright but the service was definitely better! Our server was very on top of things and gave us a few good laughs. I didn't catch his name but he made the night enjoyable! Food was tasty but under preformed for what I figured it would have been, they did get it out to us in a quick manor, but that's expected when only the patios are allowed right now.
