Terrible terrible experience! No QR code asked at the door, everyone workout masks, underage kids there, over capacity, staff were violent, escalated a completely avoidable situation. One staff member ripped my coat, started punching me while my gf and I were walking down the stairs to leave (without any provocation), the pulled out a baton and wanted to beat us. I tried to introduce myself, talk politely, asked to discuss the situation, and they responded with complete violence. My gf had an hour long panic attack after, she's still traumatized. I would never recommend anyone to ever go there.

A bartender was very rude when I was unable to tip more than a few dollars on the first round that I bought when I first got there as I only had bills on me and no change yet. I was planning on tipping more the next round to make up for it once I had more change, however when the bartender told me very firmly that I needed to tip more, I was very insulted, and he did not get any more tips from myself or my friends. Would never go back to this place.

Por esta razón no les importó ni siquiera revisar mi reservación y por culpa de su POCO INTERÉS Y AYUDA con sus clientes, todos mis invitados que no eran latinos se llevaron una muy mala imagen de lo que somos nosotros como latinos. No solo nos dañaron la noche con su mal trato y poco compromiso con la clientela sino que dejaron una mala imagen de la comunidad latina en Montreal. Los invito a buscar mejores opciones para sus fiestas y no dejen que les pase lo que me pasó a mi con este establecimiento.

Horrible experience! Not only did we wait an hour and a half in line but the bouncer was also letting people he knew skip the line. I’ve never seen a place where there is a rule about how many drinks you’re allowed to have in order to be able to keep a table. This place sells its poor selection of drinks at a price fit for a high end strip club yet it's decor is insanely outdated, the toilets are ugly and reek of sewer and the staff isn't very pleasant to deal with (Nothing major but the coat check ladies can be rude at times). Expect to pay a cover and a mandatory coat check which charges extra for you backpack. Oh and if you thought there was going to be salsa there, you'd be very disappointed. It's basically Latino pop music all night. That said the club was pretty much full with a Latino crowd of diverse age on the Nuit Blanche so I guess it's not all that bad.

Good place for dancing, I went on a Friday night and by midnight it was packed. Lots of good dancers, they played a mix of reggaeton, bachata and salsa music. Drinks were decent and the bartenders were nice. A bit pricey for cover ($12.50 and $3 for coat check) and there was a mixed crowd of young and older dancers.

Ensuite, il faut évidemment payer le vestiaire obligatoire. Puis, nous rentrons dans la place remplie à pleine capacité. Pas de place pour dancer, ni pour s'asseoir, à peine pour rester debout, car on se fait marcher sur les pieds sans cesse pour laisser passer la circulation constante. Un DJ avec des agaces tounes de 2 minutes. Au final... Une expérience désagréable. Ça me fait de la peine, parce que j'ai l'impression d'avoir contribué à la destruction des beaux souvenirs que ma blonde avait de l'endroit. Quel dommage. Ils l'ont fait leur cash ce soir là, c'est clair. Mais je n'y retournerai plus, je garde un souvenir amer de cette soirée que l'on a rapidement écourtée. Nous sommes partis déçus, une soirée gâchée.

One of the better salsa places I’ve been to around the world. I make it a point to dance salsa in many cities I’ve visited including Paris, Hamburg, London, LA, New York and more. I was pleasantly surprised by how diverse a crowd you see here (both in ethnicity and age), how many people just love to dance (the dance level isn’t as high as in any or LA—but people have a wonderful and energetic spirit and just go to have fun!) and the quality of the music..DJ put on some great music! A good mix of salda and bachata and merengue classics along with more current reggaeton and other Latin music. I had a wonderful time and didn’t leave until 3AM and it was still jam packed! I arrived there at 10p and it was nearly empty... don’t get worried if you get there early and see it empty. It starts to fill up around 11p/midnight. Happy salsa dancing!! ????????????????????????

The place is really awful. I mean it looks as a cheap streaper club from the 80's. Is a bit scary. Is dirty, old... mirrors everywhere. The people from the entrance are rude. Waitresses nice and polite. I didn't want to come in, but there were friends waiting for us inside. From 10 songs 2 are salsa, 5 are bachata, 2 reggaeton, 1 merengue. The Sound is bad managed is really hard and with too much bass. Prices: bottle around 200$, cocktails glass 11$ beer 10$. Is overcrowded..could be dangerous because the dance floor is reallly old and it seems cracked. I can't believe is open to the public. It gives a really bad image to latino pubs! Also I was a bit afraid. I didn't feel safe at anytime.

Went to Salsatheque with a group of ten people after 6 of us had paid cover and headed to the coat check, the bouncer would not let one of the people in our group into the club. (The only Asian person in the group). We said that we were a group and we all needed to go in together or we wanted a refund and the bouncer refused. The club and the music is fine but be ready because you gonna go out of money! They over charge for entrance and coat check. Every drink is at least 3 times more expensive than anywhere else. You can not even sit, you have to dance to sit on the chair you have to buy drinks. We stayed there just for half an hour.

Worst club I’ve been too in my entire life. The staff is rude, unwelcoming, the security is unprofessional (they were drinking on the job), very rude. Made a calm situation way worse instead of deescalating. One of the security ripped my boyfriend’s expensive jacket. He got bruises in different parts of his body. I myself got some bruises. Would never not go back there, even for a friend’s birthday party.

Please do not go here. The DJ is a creep and gropes girls. It’s happened multiple times to people I know and I’ve heard of it happening to other people as well. I never give reviews but I felt I had to warn people about this place. Please just go somewhere else and stay safe. There are so many other better, safer and more fun clubs out there.

I would never recommend this place. It is overpriced and the staff was very rude and disrespectful. The bouncers use physical force for no apparent reason. A guy pushed my friend and threatened to kick her out just because she was dancing and didn’t know that dancing wasn’t allowed. He could’ve told her that dancing wasn’t allowed instead of pushing her. He has no right to do what he did. And the waiter told us that we would be kicked out if we didn’t order more drinks. This whole place is a joke and our experience there was horrible.

I've often heard about how fun this place is and I finally decided to go after many years. This place did not disappoint. It was as fun as everyone had described it. Playing all sorts of Latin American music and not just salsa/bachata. The bottles are reasonably priced and it's just a good overall spot. You'll have fun coming here.

Nice club lively and dancing crowd. Very crowded and barely got a table and seat. Great pick up for the guys to google over the girls. Liquor sold by the bottle mostly from what I seen. Mixed age crowd , mirrors everywhere !! Long staircase to get into club. Watch Out on ur way out so u don't trip down the 20 or so steps to get outside. Security at the door is tight on allowing people in , as u may have to wait till other guests come out. But they are polite about it .

Don’t waste your time going there. We waited in line an hour and a half to get in, while the bouncers let other people cut the line and go in. We paid the entrance then they forced us to pay 3$ extra for coat hangers or else they wouldn’t let us in. No dancing was allowed, staff was extremely rude and disrespectful and threatened to kick us out on multiple times using physical force in order to give our table to other people. This place is a scam, everything is overpriced, and customer service is horrible.
