If you can manage to get through the poor customer service skills in the front office and you gain Teresa on the inside to shoot you will be A ok. Excellente experience at this club. I had visited several times before becoming a member. I have read other reviews and have a hard time understanding why anyone ever had a bad experience there. The staff have always been polite and professional. After a few visits, I chose to join. The cost of reloaded ammunition, availability of various rental firearms, friendly knowledgeable staff and clean, simple facilities make me a happy member. Other members have also been very courteous and a pleasure to chat with. Looking forward to seeing new members join so you can have a similar experience to mine.

I have seen quite a few gun clubs and gun shops, and I have never been treated as badly as I was at this one. As I walked in the man behind the desk (Large brown man) asked what he could do for me in what was an aggressive tone; before I even had a chance to say a word, he asks me for my licence (Which I showed him). He also asks me, out of the blue, if I smoke marijuana (I don't). Before I even get a chance to reply, he says: "You have a non-restricted licence and aren't welcome here, you have to leave now" Perhaps this gun club is a nice place, but I didn't even get a chance to ask a question or look around, as all this happened in the span of 30 seconds. I don't know if he was having a bad day, but I generally expect people to be somewhat polite or courteous. I went to another club in Lachine 12 minutes away, and was treated very well...it was night & day. I cannot recommend this place as being treated like that and kicked out for no reason (or an unexplained one) is unacceptable. Edit: I noticed a couple reviews talking about how the same brown man is very rude; so I guess he genuinely is impolite and rude all the time, and wasn't just having a bad day. Edit 2: As seen in the owners response, even that cannot be written without an aggressive tone. As said before, I do not smoke, and whether my friend (who just came in to watch) smelled of marijuana is irrelevant to myself who, again, does not smoke and holds a valid licence. My description of the man behind the desk is simply that, a description, so as not to label other employees who might not be as rude as he is. Considering I am also brown, the owner's attempt to make me look racist is laughable. As mentioned before, we went to a different club 12 minutes later, also in Lachine, and had absolutely no problem, neither with odor or rudeness; in fact one of the CSRs showed us around the club, which was quite nice of him. I maintain the verisimilitude of my original review, and still urge those reading this to simply go elsewhere. Good day.

My girlfriend and I had never fired a gun before, after getting the proper instruction from the club, we were practising safe handling and hitting the targets within minutes. Great value and hugely enjoyable. Would strongly recommend using the .357 for the first few shots :)

I've been wanting to try shooting for many years and finally did today! I wasn't sure what to expect, but Joe and Lewis were so friendly and welcoming the second we walked in the door. Lewis really took the time to teach me and my uncle the proper techniques, how to load the gun, etc. Such an amazing experience and we'll definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

Creepy place at the beginning, the guy in the front desk (da brown guy) is very arrogant and judgy, he tough we were there to make trouble but we didn’t do anything wrong and told us that he can call groupon to cancel everything... but I reassured him that is wasn’t the case and we followed his instruction and he was ok with us after that... the instrutor is nice and a very good teacher for first-timers! We had fun in the end!

Our instructor was Luis, he was very reliable and always made sure we understood how to safely and adequately operate a firearm. He paid close attention to every one of our actions so we felt safe and he also answered all the questions we had. Overall, it was a unique, awesome and safe experience.

Called last minute for a same-day reservation for a group of four and Derek and his staff was able to accommodate us. Staff was very friendly, considerate, and patient. For some in our group, it was their first time shooting a firearm and Mike, our safety officer, paid special attention to address their concerns, made sure they were comfortable, and gave them plenty of advice and coaching. Was an amazing experience! Brought a buddy of mine who never shot a firearm before. We had a "blast"! We also Claude as our instructor and he did an amazing job at making sure all went smoothly and taught us how to handle both a Glock and an AR-15 while also giving us pointers on improving our aim! My friend wasn't too sure about firing the AR but after Claude showed him how to handle it, he sunk a good couple of mags into the target no problem! Would recommend to anyone who ever wanted to try out restricted firearms or just firearms in general. Will go again for sure!

Terrible experience with the larger gentleman working behind the counter. We drove for 50 minutes and we came a little less than an hour before closing just to get some information on memberships because we've heard good things about this club. Unfortunately, we were treated very disrespectfully. We asked this individual to talk to us with a bit more respect but he didn't stop. He said we were very "sketchy" because one of my friends was still outside we went in. We were basically treated like criminals. We explained that we understand and appreciate the rules but there is no reason to talk to us in this manner. We're used to going to another club but it's outdoors and it was raining that day. Although, I'd rather have rain than disrespect and terrible service.

First time there, the place was quiet and clean, easy parking. We (2 people) spend 1 hour there, tried the 9mm pistol (50 bullets) and rifle(20 bullets), in total cost 285. The instructor stayed with us all the time inside the range and explained everything very clearly. Definitely, worth to try if you never take the firearm before.

Went for a group party. Never shot a firearm before but the staff were professional and taught us all we needed to know. I was very nervous so I shot some rounds and gave the rest to my friends to finish. It's super loud inside but once you start shooting it's not so bad, it is definitely louder listening to the shots than shooting because the sound is bouncing off the walls. Where to be begin! Walking in I was feeling a little uneasy, and was instantly surprised by how welcoming and friendly everyone was! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Safety and security came first above everything else which is really important. Mike was my official instructor and made me feel safe and comfortable behind the trigger. He was a blast too by making my target harder to hit and giving me all the best pointers! Never felt insecure or unsafe. We came here as part of my bachelor party. The stuff was very accommodating within the club rules and gave us a great and fun introduction to the various guns selected for the range. We shot several handguns including 9mm, 0.4cal and .44 Magnum! Each shot is like a mini explosion. We finished with a few rounds of shotgun rounds, and it was unreal. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience what it feels like to shoot a real gun, a night and day difference from what I expected from movies.

The staff seemed very knowledgable and ready to answer any questions. Worth every penny and the 20$ tip for the chap who babysat us noobs. If you think you might enjoy it, I don't know of any other place but, this is a place that just might get you hooked on this otherwise irregular hobby. I have been a member of the club for a few years. The club is not at its best shape but they have been investing in improvements over the years, new website, new rental guns, etc. Customer service is definitely not their strength, specially if a guy named Derick is there. It is not uncommon to see him treating people badly, whether members or visitors and this is really disappointing. They pride themselves for being the cheapest and I think that they believe that because of that they would not need to treat customers as customers.

Walked in to inquire about prices and membership. Employee attempted at making a joke about girls being allowed in for free. When I did not find his attempt at humor funny, he got upset and told me that this club is not for people without a sense of humor. The $300 membership fee is bad enough, but having to deal with a childish employee that acts like an idiot is definitely why I would recommend people to walk right past this place. There are other ranges in the vicinity that dont require a humor test.

Obviously, the staff (the most null ever met in a store all categories combined) on the spot did not know it. After 2 minutes spent in the store, I left empty handed. I have visited quite a few stores of its kind in Quebec and it is by far the worst in terms of the service and the interest that employees give to customers. The seller on the spot obviously liked "swiping" chixes on Tinder better than asking me what I was looking for. To buy weapons, there are 100X better elsewhere, treat yourself, go to Dan Chasse, Dante, Sail etc, but not this mediocre store. (Original) Je m’y suis présenté le 18 décembre dernier. J’avais un seul bu en entrant et c’était de me gâter pour Noël. Sans aucune prétention, j’avais un très bon budget en poche. Évidement, le personnel (le plus nul jamais rencontré dans un magasin toutes catégories confondus) sur place ne le savais pas. Après 2 minutes passé dans le magasin, je suis repartis les mains vide. J’ai visité pas mal tous les magasins du genre au Québec et c’est de loin le pire pour ce qui est du service et de l’intérêt que donne les employés aux clients. Le vendeur sur place aimait visiblement mieux « swiper » des chix sur Tinder que de me demander ce que je cherchais. Pour acheter des armes, y’a 100X mieux ailleurs, faites vous plaisir, allez chez Dan Chasse, Dante, Sail etc, mais pas ce magasin médiocre.

Been a member since they opened around 1992 or so, have always found staff and owners helpful and friendly. Hours are good, onsite services and instruction also. I've never had to wait for access to a shooting bay. Safety is strictly but politely enforced. Prices are competitive. No onsite gunsmith, but they have an arrangement with one who provides excellent, efficient service. It's in a rather rough neighbourhood, so some people are wary late at night, but that's not the fault of management, who provide the best security they can.

I'll admit that this is the most affordable range near dt MTL. However, after becoming a member and having a few experiences with the staff I have to say that the monetary savings don't compensate for having to tolerate the manners of the extremely ghetto and arrogant staff. I want to start by mentioning that I am generally an EXTREMELY polite person. I refer to my elders as "sir" and "ma'am", (even when they are serving me) and ALWAYS say please and thank you. I was at first put off by the run down and generally neglected condition of the club and the ranges. However, I told myself that to save some money I don't mind being in a dingy, smelly, dirty, run down basement. It was only after making an appointment for the Law 9 course at 7 or 8am on a saturday (I was not given any options), and being stood up that I had my first taste of their complete lack of professionalism. No one called me to cancel, nor was I able to leave a message when I tried to call them, as they don't have voicemail???!! When no one called me after a few days of this, (no one seemed to think that standing up a paying customer that early on a saturday necessitated an apology call), I called them about 4 days later. When I DARED to mention the fact that no one showed up to our appointment, and I never got a call to cancel, or even a call afterwards to apologize and reschedule, the guy (Max) actually gave me attitude for complaining!! According to him, "something came up", and since he's "been stood up before by other people without a call, he shouldn't have to call people to cancel, or offer an apology either!" First time I went to the range after this, the people behind the counter, who I was meeting for the first time, were throwing around insults about another customer's girlfriend, who according to them "was obviously a stripper". Second time I went, I was made to feel like a bother because of the questions I had about checking in and out. It must be really terrible to have your job and business constantly interrupted by YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!! Conclusion. Cheapest Place in ALL WAYS. Going to the range should be fun! And we shouldn't have to bear the arrogance and poor manners of these uneducated neanderthals just because we happen to be in the one place in the city where they know more than the people around them! Go to the place on 52nd ave in Lachine. The place is nice, the people are friendly and helpful, and they have WAY more inventory to choose from.

I have been a member at this club for the past year and as a first time shooter, this place is perfect. Its a gun club, not a hotel lounge so who cares that the owner is smoking in the place, he's not smoking in the range. And yes it is in a basement, again, IT's A F*%KEN gun range!!! It the perfect place to go on your lunch break and blow off some steam which is what i love to do. The gun rentals are not expensive and neither is the ammo; unless you want to shot the .44 mag revolver. Great place and will definitely renew my member ship come February.

The place is only OK. Membership fee is cheap. I don't complain the installation there, need some improvement but not big deal. If you only go there and shoot, it is fine. However, their customer service is really bad. The people there barely have smile on their face. They seems busy all the time. If you need help or information from them, sometimes you really need ask couple times, and they give you the feeling that you are not welcome, and you have disturbed them.
