At the beginning I wouldve given this place 5 stars. We came here it was just opening, we got a cute place at the top of the boat with a nice view. It ia Covid-19 so obviously we are expected to be seated alone. We were 2 sitting at the top but we can tell it fits 6 people cozy. 2 more girls come and request to sit outside and our waitress, obviously careless of pur feelings towards this tells us to squish to the back so they can sit ON THE SAME CUSHION as us, doesnt disinfect the area these girls are about to sit it (we legit touched everything) I told her my feelings towards it, that its Covid19 and we should be 2 meters apart. She claims outside is 1.5 meters and totally disregards my comment and doesnt even offer for us to sit inside at that point. We bought a bottle of wine and a whole charcuterie board, our intentions were to stay till sundown and keep purchasing...we felt as if they didnt care about our feelings simply cared about filing in the spots to make more money. Ill never come back, the lack of consideration towards our feelings during these hard times. I mean WE MUST WEAR MASKS everywhere including the inside of their boat but here they are seating girls not even a meter apart from us. What if I live with my grandmother ? I havent been out since March... I am expecting Covid19 protocol to stand everywhere. Shame on this place.

Really fell in love with the place. You can kayak by the water and order food, olives and such by the window. Prices are reasonable, good wine, good beers. Staff is amazing and the owners fixed the whole boat themselves. You can see they are devoted to making this a cool spot. I'll swing by again every time I'm on the water!

Nice unique bar & those two stars are for the place but the staff need customer service training. I went there twice & sat facing the wall. On both occasions when a table was available on the water side I asked if we could change table & they refused. The second time was insulting because their excuse was that the table was for more than two people then 2 minutes later 2 new customers showed up & were immediately sat on that table. We wanted to order some more drinks & food but because of this attitude we decided our money is better spent somewhere else.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I made a conscience decision to get there on weekday to avoid any crowds. I went there last week Tuesday with a local Canadian man. We both ordered tea and a dessert. My date wondered if the tea will come in a teapot. The Canadian gods must have heard him because our tea did come in a teapot!! I got green tea which costed $3.48CAD. There were two dessert options to pick from, tiramisu or chocolate mousse, both the same price for $4.35CAD. My date and I went with the tiramisu. Our total cost was $9CAD each. The green tea was pretty light even though we let it steep for 5 minutes. The tiramisu was pretty good. On the location. I absolutely love the boat atmosphere. Very romantic feel to it. Just looking at the water, you think the boat is moving, but it's not. After my date and I finished enjoying our tea and dessert, we went outside and sat in front of the boat. It was a cold night. They had blankets and pillow on the two seats outside along with a fake fireplace. Once again, very romantic feel to it. I would definitely go back when next time I visit Montreal again.

Being a small place and only operating at 50% capacity, there was a wait to get in but it was worth it for the cool vibe and admiring locals running/jogging/Kayaking/boating alongside or in the Canal. Very well priced. Bloody ceaser was good ans about 8$ ea! It's as cute as you think and even more. Cute lights inside to set the mood, a skylight, there are some spots outside at the front and top, good music, cozy, nicely decorated, went for a first date and will for sure come back, only regretted not going sooner! Staff was nice, they never harassed us on getting another drink like most places would (wasn't super busy though). Absolutely delightful place :)

I like this place a lot (A LOT!) and recommended it to probably everyone I know since I discovered it. The experiences is different from any bar out there. The service is excellent. If you’re a big group (4 or more), try to get on the roof. If you’re just two and trying to have a nice date and/or conversation, I will suggest you get in the front of the boat. I went for a night out with my friends when dropping into Mtl for a visit. Loved the decor and the atmosphere! I’m not a big drinker so I had a camomile tea, which happened to come with the most interesting looking ans beautiful stiring utensil. The best find for a fun date with friends or a first date setting. Joe and Garvin are an amazing couple who make everyone feel comfortable and at home. The place is beautifully decorated, with just the right amount of sparkle and jazz. The location is fantastic. The Malibu Sea Breeze cocktail is exquisite and I have never had a better one anywhere else. I wish they had a more permanent setting. But I guess the fact that we have to wait through the winter to celebrate spring on the boat is fun.

Great drinks, beautifully set and wonderful view, especially if you're lucky enough to get the outdoor seating. Absolutely awesome! Seating is first come, first served but my party of two only had a few minutes wait during a really nice summer evening. Selection of food and drinks is really nice, and the prices were surprisingly affordable, even before adjusting to USD, which made it downright cheap. The staff was wonderful and one of the two owners was really friendly. Even their dog was nice (sorry for encouraging his begging). You cannot go wrong visiting the canal lounge if you're in Montreal, even if just for a few days.

It was underneath the salami, I was disgusted but we still kept our cool and let the waitress know, not the same one who served me on Friday. We asked for the addition and realize she had charged us for that plater. I was shocked, never have I been in a situation where I have to point out two times the fact that there was a hair in our food and still get charged. I asked to speak to the” captain “ and he said he doesn’t care about the hair and that he has no policy on this. I was completely disgusted with this . He ended up taking 25% off the plater which was équivalant to 3$. Sad sad business this place. Save yourself the trip
