They have good quality cheep clothes it's a great place to go for a deal! (WARNING ) this part has nothing to do with the goods or my experience at the store but I heard they where offering their employees $$ to get the COVID 19 vaccine, by definition that's coercion and is illegal by the Nuremberg code. I don't believe people should be treated any different do to a "vaccine" they get. That creates a medical based two teared society and we are no better then when they used to seperate colored people from whites.

A handful of staff are friendly and efficient, but much of the time they don't know when to call for other associates to come to cash. Many wander around and just leave when they see a line up. Long waits in lines, not the first time I've had to leave empty handed (only needed 1 item) after waiting up to 20 minitues (being generous it was much longer at times) seems to always be with 1 particular associate. Sad. Will take my business elsewhere from now on :(

We have been shopping at Tiger Store for many years and happily. Suddenly the doors we have walked directly through from the parking lot which is wonderful due to my handicap is closed shut! On the wall we read" ENTER THROUGH THE MALL", this is a long walk FOR people with canes and walkers. The Internet said Tiger was open at 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m and we arrived at 8:25 walked with difficulty through the MALL and found the inside doors to Tiger closed. If you are watching your budget there is always good mark downs. Pineapple is $2.77 compare to other stores over $3.50. There is also 50% mark downs from time to time. Reasonable price on clothing.

To start, i do my grand mothers shopping, since she doesnt drive and in a walker. She told me she needed more frozen fruit and they are on sale here. So i go to get her some and decide to get some groceries for myself as well as some frozen fruit. So i get 3 for me, with all my stuff, then separate hers to buy after mine. Pay with card for mine and had cash for hers. They would not let me buy both cause there is a limit of 4. I explained the other 3 in separate order if for my grand mother who can not shop on her own. So im told no. Since they came to 9 bucks, i ask lady behind me if i give her 15 bucks if she would buy them for me. The cashier would not let her buy them for me/grand mother. I was then told that we are not allowed to buy food at giant tiger for other people. So i ask again, so i cant come into giant tiger to buy food for someone else. I was told no. So again i ask, if i come in tomorrow n buy a bunch of food and as they are ringing it through, i say this is for a friend not for me, can i buy it. I was told no. She then said if i come in with wife we can both buy food. Then i ask if wife says while she is buying it that she doesn't like what she is buying and its for me, will she still be able to buy it. I was told again no because their policy is no one is allowed to buy food for other people. So i said ok and went to return my stuff cause im gonna stop shopping here since food basics is in same mall, ill just start going there. So im in line to return and the lady in front of me asked what was going on. So i start telling her, and of course the same lady that refused me to buy, was the one that came to return my stuff. Well the woman returning my stuff told me to stop talking to the lady. She said im not allowed to tell her whats going on. So i told her the lady asked me so im going to finish telling her. Then the cashier lady gave me attitude, made me wait till the lady is in front of me, then told me to fo to the other cashier. Needless to say, as a business owner, i would not treat paying customers this way, and i guarantee that i will no longer be going to giant tiger in simcoe. I would rather spend more money at sobeys then to give this store another dollar of my money.

The store itself is well stocked, clean, and easy to find what you're looking for. However, the customers are ill managed. They tend to prefer the tobacco and lottery line to cash their large purchases out even when other checkouts are open, and then don't buy either product. It makes for extremely congested checkouts.

The Giant Tiger in Perth has items on sale that surprisingly the Kingston store doesn't have ( I stopped at both the same day). I was trying to find a color of curtains that was on sale...but only in Perth.

Went to find clothes . Found two tops and wanted to try them on . I went to the changing room and rang for help twice after waiting and no help came I put the tops on the rack and walked out . When I was walked out I saw 4 cashiers who are up working with hardly any customers there maybe some of them should of been on the floor.

I was so pleased to see that safety of employees and customers is #1 at Giant Tiger , this is the first store that has employees wearing masks. People here are not social distancing so it is very important to wear a mask while shopping . My family have been wearing masks since March. Thank you for caring .

There was a 10 min wait for an employee to get to the lineup.of 4 ladies for the changing room which took a star away however it was sanitized between customers and they had cashiers at each check out which was pleasing. The people that work here seem to always have a smile in their face though you can't see through the masks we have to wear in this climate of the covid pandemic. I can see the "smeyes" so I know they be smiling. Nothing worse then employees that are in a bad mood and I never encounter that at this location which I visit when I do laundry at bubbles
