Ryan Schuck

Had a great dinner Sunday night! The food was very satisfying. The waitresses were so attentive and accommodating, especially to our couple of littlelpicky eaters. Will definitely be back.

Terry Hansen

I'm from out of town, and this place was awesome but my pad tai wasn't great (the pork in it is exceptional). If I had anything else, accompanied with their drink menu, fire hall would have probably received 5 stars. Everyone else said the burgers were amazing.

Tim Gage

Great decor and tasty pub food. Was a nice surprise travelling through Cranbrook.

Phyllis Snyder

The fire hall was awesome you get what you pay for at the fire hall for sure and the portion of food is good as well and the selection of ipa is very vast . I mean come on it's an old fire hall wicked joint if you wanna meet up with friends.

Rachelle Langlois

Great food and beverage selection.

Alan Dudley

Decent atmosphere, good food, great customer service. Food took a little longer than the average place to get to the table but it was a good experience overall.

Trevor Banks

The new "it" spot in town (summer 2018) they have a pretty diverse menu with some eyebrow raising options like the Ed Burger which consists of peanut butter and jalepeno jam... But it actually tastes awesome. It's a slower paced meal, great for getting together with a group and having a drink. Bunch of beer options, the harder alcohol selection is a bit limited but you can find the typical options there. Fries are great with lots of poutine options. Owners are awesome and the staff are really friendly, they also know a lot about dietary restriction like gluten free or dairy free options. They know when asked if a sauce has gluten in it or not, that is not the norm. Norm is going back to the kitchen after every question and coming back feeling unconfident in their answer. The attention to detail is on point. I would highly recommend you check this place out. It's one of the top tier restaurants in Cranbrook right now, you pay a little extra, and I would love the portions sizes to be a little bigger, but it's still a winner.

Kaleb Boucher

Service was not good, and glasses were dirty

becky lewis

Great service (even during Covid) and great atmosphere. Loved the pulled pork mac and cheese!

Michelle Foster

Very slow service, which ruins the experience, especially since the beer was quite good. This place will shut down in 6 months unless they improve the customer experience.

Liz P

The Brinner... One of the best meals I've eaten.. I couldn't finish it.... But I did anyway

Isaac Hill

The "35 DOLLAR NACHOS!?" were delicious, but horrendously overpriced for what was included. The menu states that NY strip steak is included which we attributed to the high price, but the steak portion is VERY small (bite sized pieces). That said, beer selection was awesome.

Paul S.O. Barbeau

Had the poke nachos - amazing! Generous with the tuna, amazing avocado sauce, crispy crispy wontons. Lots of servers around, busy place, great selection of taps

Service

Sharla Stoffman

Excellent food good atmosphere! Highly recommend for bite or drink or both!

Ryan Parkinson

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants ever! If the building itself wasn’t enough to pull you in, the staff is so nice! We came in a chatted with the bartenders for over an hour and they were nothing but great. Our food and drinks were delicious and the prices are good. If you are in Cranbrook for a short time, I HIGHLY recommend this place, you will not be disappointed at all!

Dean

This was truly a complete let down. My husband and I had not been to Cranbrook through the whole pandemic, we were really looking forward to a nice lunch. The fries were ok, but the hamburgers were horrible. Don’t waste your money.

Darcy Soles

Just had the 6th scents burger.. not large but great flavor.. my wife had caersar with chicken good size an great flavor.. The waitress Carly was extremely great.. yet they all worked together for great service.

Golden Reviews

The restaurant was so cute! The food and atmosphere was amazing. Our server was very diligent and helpful! I wish I lived in Cranbrook because I’d be a regular. Highly recommend it!

Alton Toth

We traveled from BC to Ontario and back - we made a stop here for lunch. Wow, best food and service for our entire trip.

Steve Thomson

Best caesars in town, hands down.

Tara Koshman

Awesome food n great service friendly staff ????

David Aliverti

Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap was amazing. All the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our server Retta was very good and loved out service. It was also nice that one of the owners Jessie came over to say hi and tell us about his establishment. Definitely a place to go when in Cranbrook!!!

Sooraj Gopinathan Nair

Love this place. Beer is cold. Burgers are hot. Toilet paper is sufficiently plush. Id order a few pounds of wings and a cold fat tug as my last meal.

John Reamer

Would 100% go back. Poutine is huge, filling burgers, but I recommend the ramen if you like a little spice. Big open restaurant, old fire station the pole is stile installed. Can be covered busy so go later at night

Brent Calver

Love it. It could be in gastown in vancouver and fit right it. Great beer. Good food. Sweet deal all around

Sheldon DeCosse

Had the B.O.C breakfast burger, it was faaaaaantastic! Highly recommend to anyone in the area! The staff were lovely and the food was great! Huge patio with lots of room between tables!

Ryan Wilhelm

Great atmosphere, great beer selection and friendly helpful staff.

Malcolm Jubinville

Colin Sharp

Was so surprised to find such a quality meal here. It being a very busy night when we went, the kitchen and servers still did a bang up job. Staff were all friendly, attentive and the meal was amazing. Unique burgers and housemade breads sets this place apart from the rest. They have a huge beer selection and is definitely worth any wait you might have.

Matt Nelson

Highly reccomond the Fire Hall! The food was phenomenal... probably the best meal I've had this year. Will be back everytime we come out to Cranbrook!

Tyler A

The food and drink were awesome! Service was a little slow but I was enjoying sitting on the patio anyway. Will definitely be visiting when I'm back in Cranbrook!

Barry Hemphill

Great beer, great atmosphere. Food comes in at a par.

Edward Dewijn

Dog friendly patio. Super friendly staff. Yummy food but be warned huge portions! Loved the vegan cauliflower "chicken wings".

Junior S.

Great place!! Really good service, good food, and they have a dog-friendly patio. 100% recommend

D

Best place to eat, drink and mingle in Cranbrook. Fantastic craft beer on tap... superb up-scale pub fare.

Gord Scott

Good food good service!

Greg Mattson

Had lunch here twice. Food is good but could be better. Service is slow. Haven’t had dinner yet but have been warned I should expect to wait for service. This is a new place so hopefully they can get their growing pains under control. Cranbrook needs more places like this. Planning on dinner here this week so will report back after a dinner visit.

Patrick Robison

Everything about this place is wonderful! Great food! Great service! Great variety of beer!!

Andrew Henyecz

Food quality was ok but priced high for what you get. We had a caeser salad that was over dressed but tasty. We also had two different $15 poutines that were ok but I don't feel were special enough for the price. The toppings were scarce. Wings were good. As three stars show, not bad but could definately be better.

Iain MacLeod

Food is really good decent cost and friendly staff

Bituman onetwothree

hello, i joined the two previous low-rated reviewers this evening for dinner. from my perspective, the host was extremely friendly while helping us. our waitress was also a nice girl, she just failed to provide a good experience for us. we didn’t receive cutlery, i had to ask. we witnessed the other waitress working attend to her tables efficiently as well as mention their daily special, which we did not hear about. probably the most frustrating part was when i asked her if she could turn on a heat lamp and bring it closer to our table, she tried and said it didn’t work and then gave the impression that was the best she could do for us. she offered us blankets which was a kind alternative until..probably about 10 minutes later when 3 other tables asked of her the same thing, and she proceeded to move the lamps around and turn them on for other tables. and then on top of that, we sat and waited for our bill and to go boxes for far longer than anyone should have to wait...especially considering it was not busy at all and she spent her time cleaning tables or out of sight instead. i had to ask the host for a box, which he then passed onto her. i myself am a restaurant worker, and this service was not ideal for anybody. the food was good tho.

John BanQuan

Great service, great beer and food. The vibe and feel of the place inspires a good time. Would recommend and come again.

Doug Douglerd

Amazingly great food, great atmosphere and splendid service.

Ada Dollevoet

Cranbrook's finest. Nice and spicy. Love the vibe.

dan marusyk

Forget about going anywhere else. This place is seriously good food. There should be a line.

Ram Reaper

Food was excellent, aestetics were impressive, but we wished we could have accessed the top corridor. As an added piece of constructive criticism, a spice indicator for which foods are rated by would have been beneficial. Excellent, overall!!

Mike Dennett

Do not recommend My husband and I stopped in for a meal & it took almost an hour to come out, the server was at our table one time. for drinks and delivery of food. We were not checked on, drinks not refilled & food was cold when received. Won’t be back! Also very over priced for the size of portion you get.

Scott B

Amazing meal! loved the decor!

Jeff Kendrew

The food is delicious. I've tried the clam chowder and the lasagna. Both were awesome! I highly recommend the Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap.

Curt Emde

A different menu from everything else in town. Good if you are wanting to support local and have something different. Excellent poutine options. Large portions.

Marla Hoodicoff

Food was good. We were able to sit on their dog friendly patio with our dog. That is nice.

gary thomas

Looking for a great selection of beer? Look no further. With many to select from you'll find the perfect one. I had a burger and though it wasn't the type of bread I was expecting it was still delicious and a welcomed change to try. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Jason Villa

The nachos are fantastic! Good service and great location. It was our first time dinning there and we will definitely be going back!

Willard27

Night and day difference between the old menu and the new one! Great bold flavors, hefty portions and a great attitude from all the staff members! Will definitely be back soon!

Matthew Nelson

Great indoor outdoor setting

Sarah Murdoch

What a unique dining experience with immodestly titled cuisine that infuses various flavours and textures into mouthwatering fare! Service was impeccable and well informed of the menu. While the fiefighting nostalgia pays homage to brave first responders of yesterday and today.

Garnet Goode

I Would never recommend to anyone! It wasn't busy and we waited a hour for a burger with a cheese slice that fell apart and watered down canned sauce on pasta with a ice cold meat ball... just wow tried to tell the waitress she couldn't care less

Alekxander Lightwing

Really amazing food and great service! Also love the atmosphere!

Kevin Defoy

Really digging the Fire Hall! Good beer selection, exceptional patios (one on an upper level) and really good service. They clearly have solid training here and are very attentive even when it is moderately busy.

Justin Kwong

Great spot for food! Every dish we saw being served was delicious!! Our food was excellent! **must try**** >> Mumbai Mule drink!!!!! & good service from Maria!

Sean Walters

Good food, good service and an interesting venue make this a fun place for the night!

Super quaint and so fun! I had the beef stew, which was absolutely delicious. It came with 2 slices of home made bread and garlic honey butter. So good!

Si House

Jared Magnusson

Good original food

Igor Drapinski

Love this place. My fav is the Cranbrook Ed Burger and buttermilk ranch dressing

Alicja Wilson

Quick and professional service. Enjoyable food.

TheBrenno1981

Only really tried the food once but it was amazing, we love coming here for drinks on the patio.

Kyle Thompson

Awesome people, great food and an excellent selection of craft beers from around the province. Next time I am in Cranbrook I will be sure to stop in again.

Dave Renz

Great new pub restaurant in Cranbrook, food is really good, service very friendly and they serve an incredible selection of craft beers from all over. You have to try "Dark Matter" and excellent darker beer from Hoyne Brewers, I believe they are out of Victoria, BC. Great use of space from the old fire hall, check out the great tributes to past firefighters in Cranbrook. Awesome place, will be bringing a ton of people there in the near future.

Shaun Longstreet

Great service, great food. Very unique, re purposed Cranbrook firehall, such a cool place. Do yourself a favor and pop in here for one of the 21 beer on tap. Also have a good list of NA beer.

Gary Reid

Food was decent. Steak was fairly tough, to much bread. Had to ask for utensils.

Closeted Keith

Went here for my birthday dinner while visiting family in Cranbrook and was disappointed. Gravy was very salty, food was mediocre, bill was too much considering the quality. Cesar salad was super watery and you had to cut it up. Service was okay - they did bring little donuts out as a birthday treat. Tap list is good.

Juliet Bernard

Dinner

Eric Minden

Good taps, great food

Elya Postma

Wow, really not good. The menu is half burgers and they are sad. Processed cheese, very tiny patties. Most are $17, if you ask for side salad vs fries add $2 which gets you 4 leaves of butter lettuce some carrot and 2 cherry tomatoes. So $19 and no joke Wendy's burgers are better and bigger.. Staff and place are nice. Beer menu is good. I also had a hair in my burger but will chalk that up to them figuring things out. Food quality needs to improve in a very big way. If you only want beers, rating goess to 4-5 stars.

Jer Shear

The establishment is remodeled from an old Fire House with trendy decor. The menu was vast with very unique options. Really enjoyed my burger

Sydney Wilson

Good atmosphere and beer selection. Friendly staff.

Rodney Nelson

We visited Fire Hall Kitchen & Tap for lunch today after a long drive from Nelson. Me and my friend we are on our road trip and eating our fairly often. This however was such a disappointing experience that we decided to share with others. The beer selection is really good, not so much the food though so we had a hard time to decide. I ordered Ceasar salad and my friend ordered Inspired greens salad (she said the name of it should be Sad salad, as it was the saddest salad of her life). We thought by ordering salads it cannot go wrong, but..Both salads were really overpriced for what it was. The inspired greens salad had 4 ingredients and the balsamic dressing was without flavour. The romaine salad leaves in my salad were not even cut to pieces and there were exactly 4 croutons. That salad did not see much of a bacon either. We will definitely not return when passing through Cranbrook.

Anton Rubisov

Food/service is tops , ghost pepper popcorn should come with a warning label but so good

Michelle Janzen Signature Sugar Cookies

Oommmgggggggg BEST FOOD I HAVE EVVEERR EATEN ???????????? I had the B.O.D.A.N.G.L.E.S. and the P3 poutine. Such interesting amazing flavors that I have never experienced before. I hiiiiggghhlllyyy recommend the fire hall! Great staff and atmosphere as well. Will definitely be back!

I was passing through Cranbrook with some friends. Stopped In here, the food was great, the G3? fries were really good. Great beer selection and cool decor. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in Cranbrook.

AzarathRavenRoth

Great service and delicious food. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Cranbrook

Ben Loggains

Great service staff and the meal came out delicious.

John Brass

Good food great service

Derrick H

It was awesome once again. My niece came with me for the first time and she said it was the best burger and fries she ever had!

pearl serrat

Great on everything!! Food - tasty beers - waitress - clean - atmosphere - follow COVID protocols. But asked if a PINT was a PINT = 16oz. was told yes but got 12oz. 355ml for 6.95. disappointing but will say a lot of places do this. Bugs me I want / paid for a PINT of beer. 473 ml.

Andrew Martin

I had been meaning to try this place earlier and finally tried it with a friend. As a person who doesn't drink it is kind of an odd place for me to try but I like good food a much as the next person. The prices were about what I expected and while they seemed to have a larger selection on their drink menu then food menu it still had plenty of food to choose from. I picked the #FHN and it was really tasty although incredibly messy. I would recommend having wet naps if you order this. The servers were super friendly and were good about describing their covid guidelines. The menu even has a spot where you can order a beer for your server to thank them called a hero beer

French Bulldog

This place was a nice little find on our roadtrip. The atmosphere is really neat as it is in an actual old fire house. The waitress was professional, quick, and friendly. The food is also very tasty, came out quick, and was fair priced. If I ever come back to Cranbrook, I'll definitely come back here.

Christian Kolodziej

My buddies and I visited the Fire Hall on July 10th and Stephanie was our Server. We only came in for drinks, but Stephanie made our evening very enjoyable. She recommended good drinks and entertained us with wonderful stories. Stephanie is a great asset to the company, and we look forward to visiting again and hopefully have Stephanie as our server again!! Great place!!

Kristen McArthur

So good. Closer to a 4.5 than a 4.

J.P. Muldoe

Great patio, good food and service.

Sharayah Dunphy

Best Burgers in town. Staff is very accommodating ❤️

Kelly Drolet

Service was great the food was smaller portions and not as good as I expected

Sarah Jessome

Great beer

Polymorphic Indeterminate

Great place! Diverse menu; has many traditional favourites but with a twist, and improvements. Unique building, with trendy and upscale decor. This is a must do for tourists, and should be a regular for locals. Our server, Ros was very attentive, friendly and did an excellent job explaining the menu. We will be back!!

Shelly lambShellyLamb

Best burgers I've had in town so far. I've tried the moustache ride, Mr bodangles and J's burger. I would recommend all of them, but be wary the blue cheese comes through strong J's burger. So if the funk of blue cheese isn't your vibe I'd pass. Staff is chill and welcoming. I'll be going back again and again!

Linda Fuller

Chop up your romaine lettuce on your ceasar salad. Not not pleasant to eat. Very little Keto choices.

Curtis Kaldestad

Always love going here, the food is AMAZING and our waitress is always so friendly!

Patrick M Blackmore

Recently relocated to Cranbrook and heard The Firehall was the place to eat. Extremely disappointed. Service was absolutely awful and food was over priced for what it was. The only positive about the whole experience was the coffee. I definitely won't be back or recommend it.

Helen Darbyshire

Alexandra Nelson

Great food but a little pricey.

Trendy upscale bar and tap with a good beer menu

Jonny Coe

I went here while on vacation with my husband and daughter, the food was excellent (especially the fish and chips) and the atmosphere was perfect! I loved that children are allowed in the restaurant and on the patio.

Steve Burke

So delicious. Food was fantastic, service was great. Busy place.

Alexandra Harrison

FHK&T has turned plain old french fries into a culinary marvel. Bravo

Gael Milligan

tastey food and a good regional beer selection

Darrell Paul

Loved it best waiter ever! Super quick and nice and from Kimberley xo

Reginald Goldsbury

Everything I've eaten here has been ridiculously good. I don't drink, but from the happy noises other diners around me make, I'm guessing their various beers are pretty darn good too. The owners, Jesse and Fred, are super nice guys who make sure you're being well taken care of. I try to eat something different every time I go in and I have the following advice: 1) if your budget permits, poutine your fries. They are awesome. 2) if your budget is being dumb, get them g3'd. 3) share the nachos- nobody's appetite can manage those on their own. 4)Don't fear the burgers crazy combos- they work!

Haley Neufeld

Wow, where to start on this place... Their burgers, wow, by far, the BEST burger Ive EVER had. And Ive had, a lot of burgers. The owner of this place, absolute beauty, remembered my buddies name after more than a year! The staff, so friendly, welcoming and polite (and none of them are hard on the eyes either) Never had a dining experience that was so, well rounded like this, from the amazing, and unique atmosphere, the staff that you want to hangout with, and food that is just incredible! Cant forget their beer selection either, rotating taps, broad selection of craft beers. There arent many places of this quality outside of major city centers (Vancouver, Victoria etc.) So its a breath of fresh air to have this gem in the Kootenays with us. Would rate this place 6/5 if I could! By far, the best place to eat in all of Cranbrook, and the East Kootenays. My personal favorite, in the Country.

Richard Wisla

If you haven't had the Cranbrook Ed....are you even alive?!

Mark McDonald

Great reworking of Cranbrook's former fire hall.

Rob Trent

I’ve eaten here a handful of times and it’s usually great! However, the last time I was here I was served raw chicken. The waitress was extremely apologetic (although this isn’t her fault) and offered another meal or for it to be remade but my stomach had already turned so I declined. There was no follow up apology from the kitchen (as this was their error) or a manager which was super disappointing. I’m giving it 3 stars because it’s usually good but this time left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

Zach Silver

Food was great and price for alchohol was very reasonable.

Wayne Culley

Absolutely amazing! Looking from the outside and even the photos of their food you may not expect much. Based out of an old firehall, this restaurant boasts amazing flavour great selection of beer and incredible service. These are some of the best if not the best burgers I have ever tried. The poutine is outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Try it!!!

Tara Cerny

Good service, good food clean place.

Katie Kemperman

I love this restaurant! My BF is firefighters and loved it too ! If I am driving back to Crambrook I will stop again ! The salad, burger and fries are so good ! Thank you again and see you soon

Sammy Kent

Quickly becoming our favorite. Good food and service with a wide selection of beer.

kris erickson

I would have given a 5☆ but management wont allow any straws for the cocktails that clearly need a straw.

Al McCormick

Pretty good food. Appreciated the friendly staff.

Saundra and Kevin Russell

A unique Cranbrook attraction. Worth the visit.

Steve Morrison

Just missed the Fire Hall for the second time, and my experience was as good as my first. Great homemade burger and fries, and great service. The refurbishment of the old fire hall is also tremendous. They have taken the old and brought-in just enough new, and in just the right way, that it really pops. A true testament to adaptive re-use of a Heritage Building. The three main bay doors open making a seamless transition between inside and outside on a nice summer day. You can bet I'll be back.

Pauline Eugene (Mouse)

Fun lively atmosphere, kid friendly accommodates large groups

Jeff Klatt

Cranbrook was in desperate need of a new Good place with good food and drinks and this place does exactly that! Every time I come to town I make sure and stop here for a meal. Service has always been friendly and good. Last time we ate here we both had the fish and chips, awesome fries and the fish is crispy and delicious! We’ve also came here for brunch and sat out on the patio and it was all delicious. Large portions. The beer selection is great and the option of having a flight is one of my faves! Highly recommend the fire hall!

Jason Bennett

First class place done right. Decent selection of beers and although we did not eat here the food looked. Good downtown location.

Andrew Crozier

Whole table of 9 seemed to enjoy their entrees. Service was great, beer was great. I went when they first opened and I wasn't super thrilled. Really happy to see them doing great now. Will certainly go back.

Stuart Mason

A great place to celebrate mediocrity. Sysco food and a tap list that never rotates but has the majority crossed off. They've been open about a year and it's already at the point they might as well serve Budweiser and Arby's sandwiches. Edit: When I said the tap list never changes I meant from the same 4 breweries. There are over 200 craft brewers in BC alone. If most restaurants use the same food suppliers wouldn't that be a good reason to find different or local food suppliers? And, yes, I am sure I was in the right restaurant. ???? Thanks for the lulz.

Josh Schmaltz

Don’t waste your time at this place. We showed up with a group and they had half the restaurant empty and they told us they had an hour wait. Then when we asked why they had empty tables they said they were short staffed. Manager is a joke.

Brad Flinders

Dogs welcome on the deck, music in the park next door, and 8 types of Poutine. They have beer too.

Addison & Vanessa

Nicole from Fire Hall was our server when we visited. Was with my Dad and Best friend. She was kind, attentive, and very funny! We really appreciated her service and she snapped some lovely photos of my best friend and I. Thanks so much!

abe giesbrecht

Tegan

The food was amazing !!

Joshua Selph

Yum! Was looking for somewhere to stop after an appointment. Late lunch was delicious. Love the open bay doors - if it wasn't so hot would have sat on the patio. Delicious food and brew. I'll be back :)

Jon Glover

An original always changing (for the better) family style brew pub. I recommend anyone coming through Cranbrook to stop for a great experiance and fun events like trivia night or tap take over night.

Clayton King

Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere looking forward to our next vist

Kathy Jay

Waited over an hour after we ordered to get our food. We were just trying to get in and out but we were there 2 hours total . Food was average pub food. Menu was poorly set up. Atmosphere was pretty dang good

Tracey Halladay

Highly recommend this restaurant! We make this a mandatory stop anytime we are in town. They're Cranbrook ED burger with Jalapeno relish, bacon, crunchy peanut butter, and crispy carrot tangles has to be one of the best burgers I've had. …

This is the place to eat and drink craft beer in Cranbrook. Amazing selection of taps combined with truly delicious food and amazing recipe twists on traditional pub grub. Best service as well with no COVID excuses. Well executed delivery, yummy.

Mr.T Bondy

I love the food here, the beer selection is amazing and the staff seem to genuinely enjoy being at work. It can get a little loud sometimes so if you want a nice quiet night here, plan for when they're slower!

Celeste Lee

The burgers were a bit overpriced, honestly didn't want to order. My partner got one however and it wasnt anything special. Thier beers on tap were pretty cool, a bunch of craft beers made throughout bc. Would I go back probably not. The server was absolutely amazing though, even with covid happening.

Evgheni Dmitrenco

The food was great and the atmosphere is really neat.

biker jack

Such a beautiful old building. The food and drinks were all really tasty and well presented! Docking a star for slow service, especially on a Wednesday.

Lia Phillips

Some items had fairly small portions but all in all there was delicious food!

Gulshan Ahuja

Not a lot of variety in the menu. Very noisy, poor acoustics in the hall. With the loud music most people were talking very loud to get over the noise. A bit pricy for the meal.

Brandi O'Neill

This place is great ! Food is wonderful .it was very busy at 830pm on wed...the staff were all great .we sat at the bar for our dinner. The young man tending that bar was cool under pressure .still he took the time to make sure we had a nice time. We will be back !!!

Courtney Gardener

Great atmosphere and staff, solid food and beer selection. Nice patio and bay doors in the summer.

M Knapp

The vintage building was amazing, true to the fire hall that it had been for 90 years. Beautiful patio, great food and drinks. The nachos were delicious. I liked how they layered the cheese and toppings.

Melanie Dawn Whitnack

The food is so frikin good.

C G

Good food, reasonably priced, nice decor, outside patio seating, gluten-free options.

Melissa Murray

Was a great atmosphere. We sat out on the patio & enjoyed some drinks and dinner. They have one of the best poutines i have ever had here. The staff was friendly. Would return again if in the area.

Dave Handrahan

Hah, accidentally hit 4. Solid place in Cranbrook

Natasha Andres

Was the original fire hall - the new owners have turned it into a restaurant and bar. They also have a lot of memorabilia from past firemen who have served at the station. Thank you for remembering the firemen who have served Cranbrook.

Marvin Dyck

Have the Burger with PB and Jalapeno jelly- it will not disappoint! Also... Staff is amazing, so many beers on tap, and again, staff is amazing!

Natalie George

Attentive staff, food and beer was great.

Anastasia Feschuk

Meal type

Chris Dawson

Food and brews were delicious. Super friendly staff and a cool atmosphere.

Lauren W

Always great service. Food is amazing. And locally owned and operated. Summertime patio is perfect for a coffee and a meal. They change up their menu but have definite keepers which is nice. Also have local gin from Kimberley but not invermere...hopefully that will happen :) still it is a great place to meet up with friends.

Bryston Stanton

The server Sierra was very polite and very attentive. Thank you for the good service and the good experience! I highly recommend this place!

Lisa H

Excellent take out! All food was tasty and fresh and prepared properly for take out. “Kmarts Mac&Cheese” is a must have!

Mark Nickell

This is an old fire station converted to a restaurant! All the doors, ladders, poles are there to see! Definitely a must to visit, see, and to eat! The food here was delicious! Make sure to get the G3 fries,... so delicious! The drinks were super delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming! Make it a point to visit!

Andrew Catabay

Cool atmosphere with a great outdoor seating area. Good food, good beer, good service.

Douglas Golding

First time going here and we were very impressed with the decor, the food and the service. Great place to go for a casual meal and or a few brews.

Alex Paul

Excellent and prompt service from the minute we walked in. All the staff is so very friendly and welcoming. Food was fantastic. Will return

Cameron Lee

great foid and awesome service

zach finkle

Beer selection is excellent, very reasonable prices! Food was ‘meh’: pricy but nothing too exciting. Expected more flavour to the poutine, but was fairly bland.

Peter Grant

BBQ Poutine was okay at best, specially because this spot is considered to be a favorite. Thankfully, my caesar was better than my food.

Reggie Bennett

All around a great dinning experience, if your in Cranbrook make sure you check it out. The gluten free hamburger buns are wicked.

Tamara

Had a good supper there. Staff was friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere in an old firehall.

Angela Stranges

Very nostalgic! They have memorabilia from the firewall days. Cool place!

Lily Chycoski

A little pricey but food was excellent

George Marquardt

Good food, awesome experience, definitely recommended

Marco Ponte

A transcendental experience. Great service, amazing food, fantastic drink selection. The tuneskis bring the vibe to a whole ‘nother level. I will definitely stop in again. 10/10. Highly recommend. Also the sinks in the bathroom are a trip ????

Trat Fuller

I can't say enough good things about this place. My coworker and I absolutely love the beer selection. The food is fantastic (you NEED to try the 800 block burger O.M.G.). I love that they're always trying new things not only with their food but with activities such as trivia nights and tap takeovers. I love being able to try beers from different areas without having to leave Cranbrook! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and super accommodating. They always have you feeling right at home (just don't take your shoes off).

Norma Barlow

Great customer service and a cool place to eat! Love the patio!

Arlene Henry

Good food at a reasonable price.

Joel Niemantsverdriet

They have a nice selection of microbrews and the food was extremely good and Decor was very nice to look at casual place to eat and drink

Fraser Coltman

Awesome place for food and really enjoyed the patio.

Nolan V

Delicious food and drinks. Energetic staff. Always a fun time.

MMG

Each and every time I have been there I have had a great experience! I have been going there to experience the whole menu and of course try out a few different types of beers! This the the type of place where the owner will come and sit with you for a quick chat to see how everything is going! Jesse's commitment to his customers having a positive visit in their new establishment is what enhances the experience and atmosphere. I'm stoked that this place is finally open in the downtown Cranbrook area! The Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap is the pioneer business that will bring the vibrancy we have been seeking in our downtown core!! My hat is tipped to Jesse and Fred. I know they have been working non stop to bring this place to Cranbrook and they have done and are continuing to do a fantastic job!! -Ryan Wilhelm

Ken McCormick

Absolutely the best!! Amazing staff! Great place to go!!!

Joshua Groleau

Awesome place to eat

Paul Craig

A review of my upstairs patio experience may be unexpected in the dead of winter, but here goes. Food was good - but would someone please explain why there is a limited menu upstairs? Are certain dishes really that much heavier to carry up the stairs than others? Are you concerned about your staff's ability to carry one burger upstairs, when they have no problem with others?

Jarrett Mccrae

Great food. Friendly staff, and an amazing beer selection.

Allie Prouse

Great food. Great service. Very clean and well distanced patio dining with propane heaters. Loved the entire meal. The menu has so much fabulous variety. Definitely a must-stop in Cranbrook!

Parley Knudson

Great food, friendly service, tasty ales.

Megan Fraser

Food is top shelf. This is what Cranbrook needed. Sat at the bar and was well looked after. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable on the IPA selection. Brinner was is the best damn meal I've had since moving here. (2 yrs) Try it. Now.

Nick Sullivan

Nice place, good food. Out door seating available across from downtown Park/Quad.

Steve McArthur

Great atmosphere, awesome beer selection, solid food menu

Patrick McNary

Amazing food, amazing service, great beer selection

Chere Emery

Awesome atmosphere. Fun food. Service hit and miss.

Bently Rolf

New restaurant, with some growing pains. Service was slow, even with the restaurant half empty. Appetizers ordered for the table came last, so all the food was on the table at the same time so it was pretty crowded to eat. Food was, unremarkable. Menu itself was silly, and in the case of the polygamy platter, boaderline offensive.

Bradley Cairns

We were really looking forward to trying this out, unfortunately left disappointed. First the good. Amazing renovations done to the old firehall. Staff were exceptional and ambiance was great. Food "taste" was overall good. Now the not so good. I had the Red Baron for $15 plus a $2 upcharge to get a ceasar salad instead of fries. The "fresh baked roll" turned out to be a flat slice of what seemed to be a loaf of bread. It had a very tasty sausage on it covered with so much stuff that it was hard to taste the sausage unless you scraped some off. Quite a small portion too. Almost had to go to Arby's ;-) for a bite after. The ceasar salad was very good, but should be a NC upgrade. My wife and daughter both had the Dirtbag burger ($16). Again for the price, not much there. Tasty but small. Again an upcharge for my daughters salad and my wife, who's gluten free, paid a small upcharge for the GF bun (normal, no complaints about that) which was great and they offered her a GF gravy substitute if she upgraded (for $5) to poutine. This turned the burger meal into $25 between the 2 upcharges. The GF/Vegan gravy was not good. Not hot enough to melt the cheese at all and tasted like butternut squash (or pumpkin or something like that) with spices. Tasted OK once you added ketchup. Also, get away from the processed cheese (at least I hope it was processed or it was really bad real cheese). In a place like this, real cheddar is expected. Quality of ingredients are very good, execution not so good. Debating a return visit.

Brett Price

Best steak nachos ever with applewood cheese and spicy sauce! We loved it!!

Lois Higgins

Awesome atmosphere, decent food. Drinks were great too!

Cindy Yates

Excellent food, great vibe, good beers.

Wilson McKinnon

Delicious grub, in a very modern fun atmosphere. Funny menu with many tasty options. Many craft cocktails and beers.

Logan Latendresse

Loved this place so much, we had to stop again on our way back from Edmonton. Great beer, food, and service.

dave stefanek

Most on tap beers were crossed off the menu with a marker. Salad was ok but not worth the price. Staff was friendly but long wait for food.

doug richards

Atmosphere is fun, food is great, service is quick and always friendly and they have HUGE community spirit!

T Lush-Evans

Love the dirtbag burger! Staff is so friendly and food is so good, this is what Cranbrook needed

Brenda Chibry

Fun place. Good food.

Etoile McPherson

Great food great service ???? ????

Jarrett Weitzel

Amazing building conversion, great staff. Food and beer were wonderful

Jesica Hanemayer

Had a wonderful lunch at the Fire Hall kitchen and Tap. The waitress was super friendly and food was delicious. We did in fact leave our son's backpack in the restaurant, and as we were leaving back to Australia the next day we thought we wouldn't be able grab it, but one of the staff there, Ian, was so kind that he came and met us at the airport at 7.30am the next day! What a legend and amazing service. Thank you Ian!!

Samantha M

Food was amazing staff friendly over all was a great experience!

Dennis McCrea

Amazing food...great service????

Rhys Badenoch

Service

Shea Smith

Good food. Nice beer sele6

Colby Katzberg

Service was great, the waitresses were cheery, the food was amazing and the price was fairly low considering how much effort went into the food. I had the "Brinner" which was a beer batter waffle with cheese onions and some spices, a deep fried breaded chicken breast, 2 slices of bacon and an egg, with house made cheddar ale sauce and a side of house made maple Chile sauce. Absolutely wonderful.

Curtus Collins

Nice place within an old fire hall. The decor and staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner was good as was the beer.

Tyson Sutherland

<3 this was the best food I've had in a really long time! Went on a Friday night and it was so good we went back again the next day too! Keep doing what your doing.... food was amazing, staff was friendly and the place was clean. Cant wait to come back to Cranbrook to eat here again!!!

GWoo

The food was delicious! The server accidentally screwed up my order but she got it taken care of right away, and took it off my bill. Then I left my wallet there (I live about 3 hours from there). They were kind enough to store it and when I couldn’t arrange for pickup they mailed it express for me free of charge. Excellent customer service, friendly staff, and good food. Can’t wait to eat here again

Adam Spyksma

Excellent service backed by quality drinks and food.

Jeremy Krause

Not the best. The service was good.

Dan Cloutier

Great beer and food! Nice local spot ????

Matthew Hawkins

My husband and I had dinner last night, and it was amazing! I had the Huckleberry Club on Focaccia. It was a nice size and the bread was not huge where I couldn't eat it well. The Huckleberry Mayo was so delicious! The fries are amazing. I am not a beer drinker, and would have liked to see a bit more options for wine, but I tried the Red Wine Sangria. The presentation of the Sangria was unique although it didn't stack up well to others I've had. The menu is really diverse and unique and overall we loved it! I look forward to going many times, to try all the different options. Congratulations Jesse and Fred!! You did an amazing job!

Riven Driver

Out of towner who stopped in for lunch. Very cool space with decent menu. My mom is a Cranbrook resident and it was both our first time at Fire Hall Kitchen and Tap. She had the Mac Roll and I had the Best Friend burger. She enjoyed the Mac Roll, and the burger was fine. Only issue was that my fries were over done. When Maria, the awesome waitress came over and asked how things were, I mentioned about the fries and she apologized and I was brought new ones within 5 minutes. They also have a great selection of beers, both local and their own. I had the Java the Hut stout and it was incredible! Bottom line...good food and a cool space.

Jeff Ashworth

Food was great. Beer was great. Evening was great. Thank you!

Robin Radke

5 stars for atmosphere 4 for service 3 for food. Seems like a trendy place. Wasn't impressed with my food. 45min wait, sat on the patio. Meh! Sitting inside for a drink on a stormy day still seems like a plan but probably won't hang my hopes on taking my girl for dinner there again.

Kevin

The food, staff, atmosphere were all great! Even my 2 year old loved his dinner - which is not often the case when we go out for dinner.

Barry Van Engelen

Really nice place to eat. Great food wonderful staff, and a unique atmosphere make the Firehall a fun place to eat!

Cheyenne Lillis

Amazing selection of beers and great food. Loved the upper patio and awesome staff. The place has all the ingredients for a successful great pub

Berton D

Usually go at night but during the day service is pretty good and a good variety for drinks

Daniel Silva

Fabulous! Deco is great, food is even better. Try the tuna bowl!

Aileen-Joy Chantler

I’ll start off by making it clear that this restaurant has redeeming qualities. The staff are always friendly & the actual building is very cute & unique with a comfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately though, that’s where the consistency ends. I’ve been to Firehall 6 times (in case the first five experiences weren’t an accurate representation of what their food was like) & won’t be going back anymore. The items on their menu have so much potential, with each food description containing lots of flavours & colours, as any excellent menu does. But the food could not be more disappointing. I understand that they wanted to bring Kimberly food vibes to cranbrook, which I appreciate, but they missed the mark. The food is terribly inconsistent (& varies from being okay-good in one visit, to dry & bland in the next, for the exact same order). (Example: I had the butter chicken poutine there first time which was actually pretty tasty, so I had it the next time it was there & the fries were stale(?) tasting & there was barely any sauce on the poutine, so the whole meal was very dry & disappointing. I asked the server if it would be possible to have extra sauce added to the poutine because it was dry & she informed me that wasn’t possible, so that was also too bad. For something as simple as fries with butter chicken, you would hope that this would be impossible to get wrong, but...). It’s also worrisome to branch out to different food items in your visit because there’s a no-low guarantee it will taste as good as the description reads, unfortunately. (Example: I’ve had 5 different menu items & none of them were memorable/tasty in the least, nor would I get any of them again). I wish that I could sum up their food by saying that it’s overrated, but sadly, from the many, many people I’ve talked to in town about Firehall food, it sounds like it’s well known here that this is not a spot worth eating for delicious, consistent food. I would like to reiterate that I appreciate the building, decor, friendly staff & the good bar service. But unfortunately none of these positives out weigh the food negatives. In summary, this restaurant has so much potential if they could just find a way to revamp their menu & make the food consistent & as delicious (if not more) than what the menu descriptions read. If they were able to do this I would love to support this local business & spread the positive review to all the other (many) Firehall disapprovers.

Raymond Flashesofinsight

Its been a while since I visited home. This new restraunt is a gem. I can see why it is always busy. Im happy that such talented people are establishing in Cranbrook.

Daniel Racicot

This place is awesome, great food and lots of good beer

Bruno Bodnar

Great food. Excellent service

Ben Krieger

Really nice atmosphere, food is awesome, brew styles for everyone, and cool staff

Krista Berg

Wanted to give the Firehall a chance to prove it’s review by experiencing its honeymoon phase and then the result that it transitioned to today. It’s a jack of all trades establishment that has something for everyone and hits all the right high notes that a kitchen and tap should have. The food prices can give sticker shock to new comers but your opinion will change when you see and taste the quality of eats that is served in front of you. I’ve definitely found some select favourite dishes but I am never dissatisfied with anything new that I try. Beer prices are extremely fair considering this type of restaurant. In the big city, craft pints will cost you north of $8 for the non specialty pours. Keeping a large tap list that includes a handful of rotating taps keeps things fresh and encourages non craft beer drinkers to try new things. Staff is very welcoming to locals and new patrons alike, and have gained a large knowledge base in a very short amount of time. They break the ice well and are very open to conversation. The location chosen is fantastic and the team there definitely did well to pay homage to the heritage of the old Firehall. Something that is very important to the community which resonates strongly to their business style. Definitely would recommend to anyone I know that is hungry, needs a drink, or just a place to hang back in a chair.

Jon Sinclair

We had lunch here a few days back as we heard it was great food. The only redeeming qualities of this place is the food & our waitress. The young hostess was rude & disinterested, almost shoulder-checking me as she barreled past me when we were leaving. We waited a long while for our food & a few folks that came in afterwards were served before us. The waitress recognized this & apologized profusely but most of the staff was dismissive. Otherwise the folks making our food did a great job. My husband & son had the fish & chips. They said they were the best fries they had in a long while. I had the wild mushroom topped burger (forgot the name) & it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long while. The patties are made with ground prime rib. The staff dealing with the public could definitely use some refresher training on how to deal with the public. I'd be a return customer, but not with the treatment we got.

Anita Yaremko

I loved this place!! Great food, huge menu, friendly efficient staff. Would love to go back

Megan Cornford

This place is amazing! I work in wildland firefighting and couldn't not go to an old fire hall refurbished into a happening brew pub. Food was excellent, service was fire and I even left with a tshirt to remember my experience!

steve mitchell

Excellent burgers....got to try the Mustache! Wow!!

William Tilbury

Food was typical pub food. Not the healthiest of choices. Our experience was super slow service, they have an indicating flag at the table when you are requiring service. We had to use it several times to get any waitress to stop at our table, even for water or just needing the bill. We order a few appetizers and it took an crazy amount of the time to get the food. The waitress said it was because the kitchen was so busy. We brought our kids and felt between the slow service and slow food, We would not go back…

Justin Cleland

Good food and service

Jennifer Munich

Great restaurant, friendly staff, excellent service. The Covid procedures in place made the visit safe and comfortable. Food was delicious with biiiig portions. Definitely worth a visit.

Tim Mcgrath

Just passing by this time, but looked very well maintained.

troy robatzek

Was really excited to try this place. We just stopped in for lunch, were sat in the back corner of the side room, and sat for 15 minutes waiting for service. Watched a server go to the only other table in our section 3 times and didn't even look over at us. Ended up leaving instead of having lunch.

vicki Lee

Our dinner experience was not great. I would not take my family to eat here again. The drinks were good but the food and service was mediocre at best. Go somewhere else.

Heather McWhirter

Wow, great food! Had the Dirtbag burger and fries, and it was simply delicious. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and professional. Will definitely eat here again next time we are in Cranbrook.

Bill Foster

Highly recommend! Service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal!

Charlotte Newton-Stroppel

Had the Garlikey Ceasar Salad with Chicken and Classic Poutine. Excellent Poutine. Salad needs fixing. They left the lettuce in whole pieces making it extremely hard to eat, only place ive had do this, just makes me feel they have a lazy chef. The dressing was water and did not taste like Ceasar but the garlic was definately there. Chicken was seasoned good but a bit over cooked, dry, and slightly burnt. Very expensive for just lunch. Would really come here for a full dinner, 20$ burgers.

Katharine Pelletier

Great beer selection and the fish and chips were wonderful

Flatlander On the Hill

No TV just atmosphere and great service

Crystal Dandron

The food and service was great, service was very good as well.

Loralee Burton

Really well curated tap menu and great food. Only down side is it's a bit on the pricey side. Best pub food and a beer in Cranbrook.

Justin Maluta

Great decor and patios! The menu has seemingly gotten better since our first visit. Would recommend.

Lynn Salter

Friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the BC Craft Beers they offer (20 of them!). Truffle burger was awesome paired with my IPA. One of the better patios in Cranbrook.

Diane Vandermeer

This is a super cool restaurant built in an old fire hall that served us excellent food at a fair price. Our waitress, Starla, was very friendly and made great recommendations, and ceasars!

Penny K

Great experience! Just got into Canada and the very first experience was here. And what an amazing choice it was. We were greeted by friendly, smiling and very helpful faces. The beer was fresh and ice cold ❄️. Thank you and please thank your staff for an amazing experience

Dawn McLeod

Good food and beer.

R L

Come here for the very best Sysco, can offer in average food fare. Dissapointing factory food reheating outlet, in an otherwise interesting venue. Nice enough servers, who put on a brave face, when serving unimaginitive, insipid food stuffs. Needless to say, never coming back.

Ethan St.Jean

I loved the stake nachos

Eric Garcia

I would definitely come back there to try their burger, service was awesome as well.

Walt Carston

One of the best burgers I have had in long time

Jordan Ricketts

Was not bad and service was great. Was expecting more with what people had told me about it. Had their of pad this. A bit sweet and not usual seemed like a try and fail at doing there own thing.

Calvin Kirkpatrick

By far the Best place in town for wings

Shaun Givens

The food here is amazing and the service is awesome! Be prepared to wait for a table due to its popularity- but you won’t be disappointed that you did ????????

John Valikoski

Great service and lively vibe staff is awesome to talk to

Petra Došková

Had the FHN with bluetine on the side. Both came highly recommended. Fries were done well and not soggy despite the sauce. The chicken sandwich left something to be desired. The chicken was consistently soggy, we ordered 3 sandwiches to the table, though the sauce was nice. Service was excellent. Beer selection was quite nice and the venue is beautiful.

Ethyle Connor

Had dinner outside on patio. Enjoyed great service, great food.

Jonathan Bennett

Dine in

Brett N

Incredible staff and great food. One of the staff (I think her name was Steph) was absolutely charming and made our night absolutely perfect. Would recommend this place any day of the week!

Glenn Stiller

Good food. Good beer. Great staff

Linnea Faint

Talking about food I like the fresh homemade fries burgers not too bad too

Brianna Hemmelgarn

Great pet friendly patio. Family friendly also for our infant. Brought our dog water right away! Great food and tasty beer on tap. Love the poutine menu!

Jordain Brulotte

Nice place, good beer.

David koothiker

Enjoyed our drinks on the patio and the service was great. The construction of the fire hall into a neighborhood restaurant was a great idea.

Joanne Lindquist

Good selection of beers and loved the G3 fries bowl. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Excellent!

Shirley Ricard

Nice patio, right across from the park, friendly wait staff, excellent beer selection, and traditional pub style foods, but kicked up a couple notches to make a unique but unpretentious menu. We shared the nachos with chorizo and veggie pakoras which were both excellent.

Frances Miles

This is probably the best place to hangout and also for beer connoisseurs as they have many choices. ????????

SL Knopp

Food was unique and absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly. Alot of love and dedication went into this place. I appreciate their creativity.

Danielle Turko

Staff was friendly, I had burger and G3 fries both were good, the sweet lemon on the fries was unexpected but not bad. Atmosphere was good a little noisy but not bad. It is a little pricey in my opinion 23.10 for burger, updated fries and a drink but not the worse I have seen. I had a gift card so that made it easy this time to indulge in a pricier place. I would come again for a night out or special occasions. Not too frequently so I keep my budget and bank account happy.

John Straub

Good beers, nice atmosphere

Dan Meldrum

Love this place ❤️

Evan McMaster

Great food and fantastic service.

Sarah Breezy

It was good and I’m sure we will return if we come back to the area

Bill Roberts

Had the P3 poutine, with jerk pork, it was fantastic, will be back

tjpighin

Really cool atmosphere (I especially love the indoor plants) and great staff. My chicken strips were a little dry, but the fries and lemonade were fantastic!!

Paul Kahlke

It's an old firehall with lots of character, if you're new to cranbrook or just passing through it's definitely worth checking out! Atmosphere is very welcoming, staff is really friendly and food is Delicious with a large selection of beverages.

Douglas Nicol

We came in for lunch. It took an hour to get our food. For lunchtime that's ridiculois as most people only get one hour for lunch.

Emery Hunt

Just got the opportunity to swing in today, fast service. Excellent food, I had the huckleberry club. Was nice to have something I had never tried before. And of course beautifully renovated. Nice work.

Melissalovelace1

Sent to the fire hall while visiting canada, I would highly recommend it food was amazing, you could tell they used only high quality ingredients, the staff was friendly and warm, and the atmosphere was opening and friendly! My only compliant was a 20 minute wait yo be seated, but besides that I would eat there again anytime I'm in the area!

Stacey Bellamy

Always a pleasure, drop by whenever we are in Cranbrook. So friendly, efficient and consistent, great service, great food, great atmosphere. Thanks guys ????!!!

Lorenzo Dutto

A little hipster - A little in your face with craft beer. But those aren't bad things. Really great food at reasonable price. Great staff and ownership.

Brianna Stevely

very bad service. orderd one poutine and huckleberry club (sandwich) and it took them more than 50 mins.. yes more than 50 mins and that's not enough. when the food arrived it was cold. really fed up with the food quality. and the i left most of the food as it is and ask for the bill and even that took another 10 mins. very disappointed. will never go there again.

Sharon Mounsey

Loved it. Great service and great food!

Shauna Metzger

Fish was one of the best I've ever had. Fresh and tasty, highly recommend.

Shawn

Normally I have great food here. I would have called it my favorite place in Cranbrook. We usually go about 1x each month. This time the food was not as good. Out G fries were tasteless... the waitress went to see if they did anything different. She never let us know until I asked when we were paying. The FHN I bragged up to my husband all month... so we both ordered it expecting our mouths to explode! Underwhelmed. Maybe because I am so used to great food that mediocre food really annoyed me. All tomato flavor, no honey butter taste this time. Caesar was great! Usually I just get beer.

Fabrice Ercotti

Service was amazing food was five stars all the way

Jeff Jacobsen

The food was mediocre at best the service was horrible, our waitress never even gave us utensils, other waitress told there customers of the daily specials our waitress failed to mention them I would strongly recommend going to any other restaurant in cranbrook before you waste your time or money at this place. I would give it a negative star performance if that was possible

Robin Taylor

Cool building and good atmosphere. Waitstaff was great. Food was very slow and the poutine seemed like it had been sitting for a while when it came out. Maybe we just caught the tail end of a busy night but not what we were hoping for.

Kevin Alder

Great food and fantastic service

Dean Maurier

The team at Fire Hall Kitchen & Tap has put in so much love and energy to bring this awesome new location to Cranbrook. The food is fantastic and the beer menu even better. Can't wait to see how much more fantastic it gets in the coming months!

John Giesbrecht

Had the fish and chips . Tasted like the fish was old and stale. Second time there both disappointing.

Greg Pitts

Jessie and Fred have done an amazing job from construction and restoring the building to the menu to training staff. Each time I have eaten here the food has been fantastic and the service exceptional. My last visit Jessie gave me and my friends a one on one tour of the building with the history of it! It's a great asset to the community

Geraldine Smith

Drinks were amazing, the $40 charcuterie board was not

richard young

Great atmosphere, staff, beer list and food!

Julia

Great food and nice atmosphere.

Jennifer Labiuk

Really great patio up above . Nice view of the park while you're enjoying a jug of beer and some snacks. Our server was very friendly. Will visit again next time we're in town.

Dustin Potorti

I have never experienced a restaurant with a staff that works so well as a team. Everyone is having fun and helping out ???? great local restaurant with awesome atmosphere.

Lynn shortt

Friendly and attentive servers two days in a row. Good selection of local beers and the wait staff gave great insights. Food was incredible - had the Moustache Ride burger. Girlfriend had the Wally T - the fried slice of mozzarella added another level of decadence to the burger's big flavour. Next night I had lobster poutine and she had the fish n chips. Again, delicious.

Amanda Valiquette

Great burgers, the best wings! And fun vibe!

Franklin Stanley

Pleasently Impressed. We eat out allot and expected just another hipster restaurant with a bunch of dishes that didn't appeal to us. We were very pleased to see a really nice menu, with all fresh in house ingredients. From a simple burger to amazing spagetti and meat balls. All of it was excellent. The room is super cool and has many features of the old fire hall still in place, along with a small memorial to firefighters from that actual hall. I'd give it more stars if I could Well done.

Frank Hetherington

Great good, with a Minnie history introduction while being seated was a special touch !

Evan No

The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. We had quick and friendly service. And the server made some good recommendations to what I should have since I couldn't make up my mind. I liked that it used to be a fire hall converted into a restaurant. Didn't drink any beer though as there were too many options for me.

Rhys Collins

Really well thought out COVID safety plan. They take safety seriously. Good list of Kootenay beers on tap. Though pricey, the food is worth it!

Charlotte Rollans

Let me set the scene...Blue bird sunny day, on the patio - pure perfection. Joelle, our server greets us with a smile as bright and as the beautiful as the sun that we're dodging under a comfortable umbrella'd four top. We enter our drink order and NO WORD OF A LIE, it arrives at the table before Joelle has even finished discussing appetizer options with us. (The wonders of modern POS systems never cease to amaze me). I waiver back and fourth between a full entree or simply a starter and a cold drink. I decide to start with the Fried Cheese; mainly because it's fried cheese. Yum. We continued to enjoy the easy going atmosphere, extraordinary service and beautiful sunshine. Before it even seemed possible, the food arrives. Now...I can't speak for every dish at the Firehall, but... I can say, their "Fried Cheese" is now *HANDS DOWN* my favorite appi in Dinktown! The bacon relish (served on the side with a savory chutney) is the kind of garnish that I'd like to have a barrel of in the pantry. I'm already trying to do the math in how long I should wait before returning to have it again... The Firehall Kitchen and Tap is so far ahead of the pack, the other horses must not even realize they've been lapped!

Erin Baker

Great food, great service

Charmaine Robinson

Always A+ service, drinks and food!

wayne klima

Amazing food, amazing service. Outstanding local drink selection Can’t say enough good things about this place! If you are in the area, give it a try.

Paul Cowl

Wandered into this gem of a place; great atmosphere, with a wonderful beer selection! The food was all superb, the service was timely and friendly. Ona was kind and very knowledgable, pointing out some of the original pieces. Highly recommend!! Also, do yourself a favour and try the mac and roll. Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

Nicole Jung

Best beers in town if you appreciate a well done beer and like to have a good selection this is the place for you also is a good feeling when staff is smoking and in a good mood

Judi Price

The burgers are really the thing to get here. My party and I found the burgers to be good and everything else to be average.

Brody Spoelder

Loved tho look, the food and the people!!

Tanya Manion

The food and service were excellent. Try the pickle poutine, its worth it!

Jeff Fraser

If you're looking for a good beer and food then you've come to the right place in Cranbrook.

Sandy McArthur

Great patio, beer selection and food.

John Zelych

First time visit . We had the flatbread, it was delicious and we will be back.

Came to town for work and ate here during the week. The service was good, I liked the atmosphere and the location. The food was absolutely amazing! Definitely our favorite place that we have eaten in Cranbrook, and for a decent price point! Great experience all around!

Jedi Lefnut

French fries were some of the best I have had, burger was prepared well, service was a bit slower, nice decor and comfortable.

sean williams

We had "cowboy burger" and Roasted garlic club. BF said "best food Ive had in a long time". We both loved it. Will come back next time through town. Great service. Clean.

Cal Dandron

Great food, great service. Huge variety of beer.

Mic hael

Great appies, snacks, gluten free and vegetarian friendly

Garrett and Yvonne Winkel

Servers seems inexperienced. For the price you pay deserves better service.

Shelby Sword

Excellent food, great service! Everything was fantastic!

S H

Perfect place for a dinner or just a few beers. Thanks!

Nicole Bridgeo

Fine pub, in central, downtown Cranbrook. Good food, with decent selection of beers.

Andy Brown

This a pretty large, lively refurbished fore hall, with a surprisingly cosy feel. Jessie is a great, knowledgeable, friendly barman. Has an outstanding selection of beers on tap, with rotating guest beers. Food is a little od the pricey side, bit is decent. They serve a great vegan friendly burger - it's alarmingly meaty and very tasty indeed. The fire hall is nothing fancy, bit it's all the better for it.

Pat D

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the best taps in town.

Colleen Bermel

*warning * This is not a real fire hall ????????‍????????. Do not go here if there is an emergency. My house went up in flames. On the plus side the cold beer ???? and amazing food ????????????‍???? made me forget about my problems. Until I realized I didn't have insurance ????

Cj

Love the Fire Hall! Gorgeous interior, great staff, lots of beer on tap, good wine selection (please add rose for summer!) and two patios to choose from! Definitely a summer hot spot, this patio is the best in Cranbrook. Well done, I’ll definitely be back ????????????????

Nikki McCoy

Great wings, tasty beer. What more could you want?

Jim Houle

I was not looking forward to my first visit as i didn't think there was anything i would like on the menu but went with an open mind and finally settled on the HUCKLEBERRY CLUB from the "Not burgers" menu. It was beautiful and will definitely be back again to try out more of there menu. It was very busy when we attended but that didn't put us off.

Quinn Grist

Beer is affordable and good. But the food is expensive and not much quality or quantity... To pricey... Poutine is $14 but fries are $7 and same size... And no pickle with burger...

Neil Bosman

Good beer selection, excellent service and really, really good fries.

Sheryl Vallee

Wonderful meal wonderful service.

Liam

What a fantastic dining experience. We had outstanding service from every staff member from our hostess, expo and waitresses. And that doesn't even begin to acknowledge the fantastic beers they have on tap or their food. Dining outside on their fabulous patio made for a great summer evening supper experience. Thanks so much to everyone who made sure our meal experience was amazing.

Greer

I really enjoy eating here, the food is good, the drinks are yummy, so many great beer choices and the staff are super friendly. I recommend eating here for sure. The vibe is enjoyable. Would like to see some good music in here sometime.

Dustin McCulloch

Fantastic food and drink and amazing service. Companied with the vintage building and amazing ambience this was a stop I will be making again.

Brandon Jmayoff

Unique food selection, and friendly service!

Luis Galdamez

Food is average for the price and my plate looked empty. For a $17 poutine one would expect that real gravy is used. The server didn’t know which beer was dark, light, IPA, etc! They were out of half the beer the first time I went and the second they were short staffed and it took an hour for food. Really disappointing.

Jacey Vandenberg

Food is great, but the service is definitely on "Mountain Time".

Wayne Walters

Jesse has succeeded in having a super trendy and tasty restaurant, it has the coolest selections on their menu, extremely friendly staff and uplifting atmosphere

Ruth Peters

Fire hall is always good but man the hobo is on another level. It’s like the action reboot of the cranbrook Ed, highly recommended.

Jim Voth

The “Donuts and Coffee” on the dessert menu are amazing. Fresh beignets with a Vietnamese coffee custard to die for! Great atmosphere and friendly staff :)

Schaean Tyrrell

40 min waitlist to get into a half-empty restaurant, then waited an hour for food that was a far cry from the premium prices charged. Some good beers on tap, but you can do much better in Cranbrook for half the price.

Peter van Camp

Good food. Cool building. Nice atmosphere. Very rad.

Katie Morin

Super friendly staff, good food, interesting beers from around BC. Highly recommend.

T.

Eal was grossly over cooked batter on fish wad actually burnt. Waitress acted as though it was not important. It should never have been brought to the table. Not likely we will be back or recommend this place.

Inder Dhillon

I love this place! People are complaining, but forget it's only been open for 3 weeks.. everything I have tried here has been phenomenal, and the menu is hilarious! People who are offended really just need a sense of humour! Definitely the best place in Cranbrook, so come in and check it out!

Claudia Sperling

Always great service, food , and atmosphere!

Tott Man

For my daughter's birthday she wanted to go out for supper with a friend and chose this. I called ahead to let them know two tweens were coming and that it was her birthday. They said they only do birthday shots so she didn't get anything special. No happy birthday, I would think a Shirley Temple would have been doable but no. When they arrived the waitress made a big deal about them ordering from the kids menu, and called them immature children. She then proceeded to gossip to her fellow servers about them where they could hear. She gave them eye rolls and continued to bad mouth them to people as they ate. I contacted them through their feedback via their website to resolve the matter but did not receive a reply. Bad customer service, not kid friendly, not accommodating to special events if below the age of 19. I will not be returning nor will friends and family. Very disappointing

Sarah Bass

Good food ideas.but there's no popular beer there.

Andrew Jans

Good food nice place but the menu needs a major update it is ugly and hard to find what you want pictures of the food and names that allow you to know what you are getting would help have to read the description closely as there are some strange things being made here

Elizabeth Jones

Great food and service worlds best Caesars.

Jim Lochhead

Great environment. Beers taste delicious

Mark McCauley

Great and friendly service both times we have been there. Extra cleaning and safety for Covid. One of the best burgers- stuffed cheddar and onions. Yummy .

Danny Limberg

Great steak sandwich

Wambli Williams

Good food, good beer, great atmosphere and good service.

Chris Jaworsky

Nice place. Decent pub menu, with some nice wines. Chips were excellent with the fish & Chips. Had difficulty eating them out of a bowl so resorted to using my fingers, which were exceptionally clean what with the constant hand sanitising. Restaurant was very quiet when we went in around 11:30. Good social distancing is practiced here. Staff were friendly. Looking forward to going back when I can sit on the roof amongst people!

Mark Jarvis

Great service and food tasted great! My one pet peeve is when salad isn't chopped up and unfortunately my garlicky Ceasar salad was full leaves of lettuce, but it tasted super delish so it was all good! Great cocktails too!

Jody Duffy

The Brisket Burgers are so good!!! The G3 fries were amazing! I could eat here every day! Great service and friendly staff. Will definitely eat here next time through Cranbrook.

Troy Hrisook

A beautiful modern version of an old building.

Carol Rolheiser

Great food and atmosphere.

Gurp K

love the decor

Chris Sinclair

Cool brew and food house. Old fire hall is really interesting. Food was good and beer selection was great. Covid procedures were in effect and well laid out and easy to follow.

Troy Bauman

Very nice food and service was great. Granddaughters like the place and food.

Aaron Beattie

We found this place with the help of good friends. Met them to have a quick bite and the boys had a brewskI. Great service. ..the Hutch beer was wonderful according to the 3 drinking beer! Oh that lemonade! Was not Virgin by any means...my fault!!! Did not ask. Had 2...lemoncello and vodka. .oh my! The nachos were the best we have had...very good quite innovative. ..roasted garlic. ..avocado.. excellent salsa...black beans...hand made chips chorizo...wonderful! More than enough for two to sharead! Great atmosphere...thank you....

David Oliver

Great vibe, service, beverages, patio, and not ridiculous prices. Safe place to social distance, and see your friends.

Kent Perry

Love the Firehall so much!! Had a great meal and some awesome local beers the last time I was in. The serving staff are so awesome aswell! You have to go here.

eric schuurmans

Delicious food, good vibe, fast service! Definately a treasure!

Shawn Patterson

Had a Saturday breakfast here with the family and it was fantastic. It’s very difficult to find a good local breakfast place in Cranbrook and I’m happy to see that the Firehall Kitchen and Tap is offering this needed service.

Paul Catterson

Amazing food

Mark Jakobsen

Great pub in Cranbrook. Very fresh and bright feeling inside, very tasty and creative dishes!

Dorothy Severson

Excellent food, great service, reasonable prices

Kim Kennedy

Great food, great atmosphere. Definitely the little slice of Kimberley, BC that it's supposed to be. ????

Lindsay Wiercioch

Fantastic place with great food, definitely one of my favs

Shannon Tang

good food and great service.

Leslie Askew

If you are a beer enthusiast you will want to try this place. They usually have about 20 beers on tap and they rotate them frequently. When it is warm outside the deck and the balcony are a great place to sip on a cold one. The dirt bag Burger is probably the best on the menu and I'd highly recommend the Caesar salad but be forewarned that you have to use a fork and knife to eat it ????

Allison Cisco

First experience here was horrible and didn't think I would ever return.... now that is out of the way.... this is a very active environment with a friendly atmosphere and lively crew. The staff was very engaging and on the borderline of comedic, food was fresh and hot, and the prices reflect the quality we received. I would be happy share this place with friends and family any given day! Thank you for changing up whatever you did because this place was amazing
