This study-space-by-day and concert-venue-by-night filled a large gap near the U of W. Having a space to study with friends (and get some delicious food) or get a few drinks after class is absolutely essential. The Good Will features arcade and pinball machines, and is separated into two spaces for events - you can still head there for a drink or two even if an event is going on! They also have single-stall gender-inclusive washrooms! I can't rave enough about this place! I absolutely love it!

Got here about 15 minutes too early for it to be open (didn't realise it opens at 11 and not 10) and was standing slightly confused in the rain. the bartender let me in even though they weren't technically open, and was super friendly. I really like this place. Its great for doing coffee shop type work during the day and a fun music venue at night. I live in the area and it is nice to see a safe fun place to hangout here. Thanks for being a cool neighbour.

Been here twice now, have tried about 3 or 4 other restaurants that serve ramen so far this is the best. Now they only have the one kind of ramen but you can get it non spicy. The meat is tender and delicious and I think the bowl is the perfect size. Will come again.

A nice place to relax have some craft beer. This place offers slices of pizza from the kitchen next door which is directly connected. Some nights they have live bands and social gathering fundraiser nights. Parking could be difficult because of the main location on portage but im sure they have parking on the side streets.

Came here for karaoke but the hosts cared more about "who hasnt sung yet" and wondered why their song board was so screwed up. Hosts also sang songs despite a full board and thought themselves comedians for minutes at a time. They also ignored the board and called regulars up. I'm still here and am really wishing my friend and I went somewhere else.. too bad it's so close to home but we'll make the trek next time.. it gets 2 stars because i've been here for metal shows and enjoyed those. Edit (moved down from 2 stars to 1): keep in mind it wasnt even busy.. so close to the end of the night, the 2 hosts came to us and apologized for the messiness of the order so they asked us to come up next. I got to go up and sing my solo thats been waiting for over an hour on the "board", but my friend was never called. She asked at the second last song if she would have a chance too. When they called her up, they refered to her as "the lady that yelled at us". My friend makes a personal point to not make a scene in public so i know she didnt yell at them, and their term for her was RUUUUDE at best.. yep. Never coming here for karaoke again. Sorry Goodwill but your hosts ruined it for us for good. Going to the Curtis next time.

I thought this place promoted tolerance. Where's a man with two collared slaves and a whole lot of spare time to go?
