Great buffet in the restaurant at the lobby but there aren't enough refreshment kiosks scattered throughout the casino so sometimes there would be a line up at the coffee machine. 5 stars for the decorations and tables available though.

The Regent Casino sucks...it used to pay out and though you should never gamble with the expectation of winning, you should, on the balance of probabilities, win so much per certain amount of money spent. They don't pay their employees a living wage, so I really don't know where their millions of dollars in profits are going. Even when they do pay out, their "big wins" are miniscule and not worth the effort...5 or 6 years ago, I used to win 8 or 900 bucks every time I came, but I have not won like that in a very long time...not worth going...stay home and put your hard earned dollars into a TFSA...

Things have definitely suffered throughout the construction. The event center is comfortable, unfortunately both the Jags and Aaltos restaurants here, leave something to be desired. Went to a "rib night" special at Jags and to be honest, they were misnamed for what they were and inedible. The roast and service was great, but the ribs and chicken, which were supposed to be the stars, were pitiful. Given the disorder and inconvenience to customers during the never ending renovation, one would think they would focus more on giving back or accommodation for loyal patrons, because there most certainly is a great deal of inconvenience whether it's parking or walking from one end of the entire building to the other for a washroom.

Great food at one of the many restaurants available. From sit diwn fare to fast food one can find anything that matches their pallet. Gambling available on many many machines, card games, and bingo. Apparently there is an entertainment center as well.

Went to Kevin Smith last night and had a blast. At the end of the show they handed out tickets to win a prize to see another show with a $50 Freeplay voucher and $75 food voucher. My wife and I decided to hang around to see if they would pull our tickets so we decided to put money in the machines. Out of nowhere without a five minute warning or anything they decided to announce the winning ticket at center bar which was mine! Awesome! I got up from the bingo/keno machine I was playing and they started counting down ten seconds and if I didn't get there in time they were going to draw a new number. I get there and I get a sorry we drew another number. No way in hell was that a minute. The excuse they gave us was people don't normally hang around so we go through the numbers quick and you should've been by the ticket box if you read the fine print. Give people a heads up and if someone's ticket is drawn and is playing a machine, going to the washroom, has a handicap please give them at least a five minute warning and please wait at least a minute so this doesn't happen to the next person.

This casino has been going through Reno's for what feels like years, every time we visit things are rearrange as a different section is being worked on. The VLT's feel a bit cramped during the construction. The walk through fish tank is wonderful and a worthwhile "free" thing to pop in and check out.

So close to shopping and restaurants. The staff are friendly and it was great being able to go to the casino without having to go outside. Loved getting a voucher for the casino too!

It was a happening place in Winnipeg having the coldest nights. Usually people go there to chill rather with an intention to get gains from gambling. Middle and senior citizens were in majority. Good place to chill in Winnipeg with warm Aztec interiors. The big thing I miss was loud music like other casinos in the world.

i really like the Aquarium inside. used to go there all the time with friends. except id always find my way back to the Aquarium while they played tables. besides that its a very clean place with lots to look at

The Winnipeg Comedy Festival was very good. I would recommend going. The new event theater at Club Regent is fantastic. Very well designed. Lots of thoughtful touches designed in. The casino itself is okay. I was disappointed that the aquarium was closed, but supposedly it will reopen sometime this year. Seeing all the people at VLTs is not inspiring to me but I guess that is just not my thing.

This is a very nice casino, I seen Ralphie May here last night and he was great. It was my first time in their theatre area and the seats were pretty comfortable and relaxing. I would come back again to see someone else, but this was a great night to see a great comedian who made everyone laugh their butt off and deserved a standing ovation from all of us :)

The event centre is nice, it's clean and comfortable. The walk through fish tank is really fun. The food isn't bad, but it's not worth the trip unless you're there for an event anyway. The casino part is mildly depressing and painfully tacky, but it's bright and clean.

Had arrived after 2:30am to finally make it to casino not really caring on the day of the week it was, but with all hopes it was open 24 hours. I'm from about an hour and a half away from wpg. So was dissapointed it wasn't atleast open for club members possibly. Would have been great for those of us whom have worked night shift for over a decade. Or some that are new to Winnipeg and it was my friend Tony's bday too so it was a very short visit. Everyone still very friendly and polite despite everything being shut down.

The largest entertainment casino in the city. Plenty of slots,tables and food choices. There's an concert room which holds around 4000 and also connects type to CanadInn. The whole front of the casino has neon lights and plenty of handicap parking,a parking arcade for the Walker' or at the hotel side. Weekends are opened 24 hours and special offers for tickets holders on sports and concert nite.Around 20-25 mins to DT. Still waiting for the shark aquarium to open.

It is a great place to go eat java drink and entertainments when it it comes to playing slot machines great vriaty but only one issue when u bet max and get to bonus u should get nice juicy payouts not like u bet $5 bonus pays $15 or $20 pathetic really that is only complaint I would have.

Ugh, I used to go there for Bingo occasionally, when out of towers came to show them the cool decor. They changed all the machines. I get it, but they are simply awful now. And the aquarium is under maintenance till next year. It's boring now, not any fun.

If you're sick and tired a buffets like the Royal Forks they have gone downhill over the years check out Club Regent Buffet the prime rib is succulent go on Friday night and you'll be treated to Seafood such as crab legs and lobster claws very good very delicious wide assortment of desserts and many of the other normal Buffet Staples so overall well worth the money

The buffet is very tasty! For 23.99 how can you go wrong! Everything from shrimp to salmon, to salads ... Everything was fresh and displayed to whet your appetite. The roast beef was tender and flavorful, and you had your choice of cuts from medium rare to well. Tons of choices for dessert including 6 different kinds of cheesecake.

Massive casino with a large selection of games. Was not impressed with the parking; my grandparents required accessible parking and there was not one spot available. The chance of payouts seem to have decreased over the past 8 years. Either way, decor is eye-catching and I still had fun.

Amazing location with dedicated staff. I came for the Folklorama 50 Inaugural Event and had a blast. The Event Centre is set up so that the floor could be filled with elevated seating or tables. I lost my phone in the Event Centre and in less than 10 minutes I got it back from the lost and found. All in all, a great location.

Went to the “Who’s Live Anyway” comedy show at the event centre. It was a nice evening and we enjoyed our time at the casino after the show. Staff are quite attentive and the facility is exceedingly clean. Food and drink service are reasonable, portion sizes are huge. Only complaint is the parking can be confusing, they put barricades on the first level of the parkade so you can’t access the upper levels so you’re stuck turning around and trying to find your way around the parking structure. Other than that, a good venue for shows. We didn’t do any gambling and still had a good evening.

Wow this place has changed. I remember in the early 2000s you would see signs in the hallway leading up to the entrances showing posters of past winners from a busy weekend or month. No photos like that exist anymore which makes me wonder if there are any big payouts anymore since digital games took over. The space is still very clean which is good, the tables are in a better area now. It be nice to be offered more options for food other than McD's and ice cream shops. There is this one area near the entrance where it has a bar type setting and loud top 40's music blasts out the 2 speakers and at times it sounds really good but there is no dance floor, just a small area with tables and chairs right next to the speakers which can be quite loud. Out of the 2 casinos in Winnipeg, i probably still suggest this one out of the other one at McPhillips. One can still get lost in time when you attend it here esp when they have it run for 24hrs on weekends.

Went to see Craig Ferguson at the Event Center. First time since they renovated. It's a nice venue, but doesn't have the same feel as a place like the Burt, or other theater's in the exchange.

A group of us went to see an event and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The seats were a little tight for me, but I will admit, I am not a size 12 anymore. We went for supper at Altos first which was pretty good. Although there was an all you can eat buffet, if nothing appeals to you, they also have a menu to choose from. After the show, we wandered around the casino. Some of us even won a little bit of money. All in all it was a fun night and we didn't have to drive all over to enjoy ourselves.

Street heart was great live ,but casino bar sucked ,no decent whiskey available, and only Pepsi products. No crown or Gibson at all ,not to mention all highballs are served in a plastic glass for the price of over 7 dollars. Which is pathetic for a casino. There should be way more variety for the customer at that price. The covid-19 procedures on wearing a mask are hypocritical and make no sense.

Although it always seems like it's under renovations, the theatre is an amazing room that can tailor to any kind of show. The foyer is gorgeous, and is a great spot to spend the night with friends.

All the construction has finally paid off. I went back the other day after having not been for a year or two because of all the construction and now it looks great! Everyrhing is totally different though. I don't think they have the aquarium anymore but im not 100% sure on that one. But you can drink on the floor now and theres a bar right in the middle of it all with a huge screen to watxh sports!

We went there for Micheal Bolton' concert. Their sound system was poor. There was an argument between a couple and a girl at the end of the concert, and the girl hit the guy's wife. I was calling security many times for help but they didn't pay attention at all.

I attended an event at this facility, and only spend minimal time actually gambling. Appearance: kept immaculate. Very clean. The experience inside is incredible! As I walked around I really enjoyed just looking at the building and all the features installed. Event Center: I was skeptical of what kind of event center would be at a casino. Wow, was I wrong. This place is very nicely setup for live performances. The sound acoustics were great, I had no complaints. Amenities/facilities: washrooms a beautiful. I used the coat check service and the staff were friendly and prompt (the coat check is nice for live events). There is food and drink provided all over the place through the casino. The vlts, are well, vlts. Fancy units, but I don't gamble. I will say though, if I did, it would probably be here. Staff and service: friendly, helpful, and professional. Everyone seems busy and organized. From and outside perspective, it seems like a good bunch of staff. Overall: I'd recommend friends to this place. Food, gambling, or an event.

This casino has a very nice interior and they just recently renovated the inside and outside of it. There's McDonald's inside and a restaurant at the basement. There's also hotel beside it and a concert hall attached to the building. It has a spacious parking spaces.

Go to South Beach casino instead. Winnipeg casinos no longer offer a buffet. Charge for soda pop. One of the reasons we went was for the Buffett. Big mistake getting rid of it. Machines are very tight. Never payout much either. Staff seem to ignore you when u want change. Had 2 walk past as I had my service light on. We used to go every weekend for buffet & play slots. Now maybe once a month. Started going to South Beach instead. Staying there in the hotel.

I have attend Club Regent for several types of events and shows. All seats are good in their event theatre. Their seating is very comfortable. At times the music venues tend to be a bit loud so I just bring along small ear plugs and that resolves the problem.

Club Regent is a warm, beautiful, classy place in my opinion. The tropical look inside is nice, especially in winter. And the upgrades, inside and out were worth the wait. The front entrance opens wide up as you enter, with a open bar right beyond. A person can drink and stay and play and even sleep over (for the price of a room of course). It's quite a big casino, table games with lots of new and older games, perfect combination. The back entrance is where one enters to watch the 'entertainment' you bought tickets for which is ongoing throughout the year. Nice casino!!

Nice new remodeled exterior and a multi million dollar parkade with a bridge. The casino is attached to a hotel, Altos, and a gift shop. Free coffee and hot chocolate, it's a great place to come and make terrible financial decisions. There is a new roulette machine which is great fun, looking to waste your retirement money, head on down to Club Regent, where everyone ends up a loser.

The casino is great. Lots of games, and not crowded so you aren't alwats bumping into ppl or saying "exvuse me" often. There are always new games coming in, and you have lots of fyn at them. The free coffe is nice, and offered in a few places so you don't have to go far. Bingo is played often, sadly no more paper bingo, but I like the electronic bingo because I can play other games at the same time. There are tables, and friendly staff at them. I don't play at the tables so can't speak of the play at them. There are lots of options for food and drinks. McDonald's, 2 restaurants, and an ice cream parlor, reasonable prices. There is the event center with lots of options and fun for all.

Haven't been here in a long time. Went to watch Kevin Smith and Jason mewes in the theater area. Didn't expect it to be a big area and to hold many people. The entire casino was actually nice and clean.

Great place for an evening out. There are many things to do here, from slots to table games to bingo and the event centre. This is a clean, modern facility with tons of free parking. This facility has evolved a lot over the years into a top notch entertainment destination. With onsite restaurants, you could spend hours here if you wanted and not get bored. Having Canad Inn's attached, makes this a great place for a weekend getaway.

Things just keep getting worse and worse here. They got rid of the big progressive slots, and the majority of those "penny" machines they have now equate to $1- $2 per bet games. The staff are NOWHERE to be found when it comes to needing help on the floor, and not offering complimentary soft drinks just doesn't make any sense to me (every other Casino in the world offers at least this). They do offer free coffee, but it is in cups that only a 4 year old could appreciate. The only positive (and why I'm giving 3 stars) is the concert hall. It is state of the art, and total first class. The artists and bands they book are excellent, and the sound and seating is just awesome. Now if only the person who was in charge of creating that masterpiece of a theater was in charge of the rest of that Casino lol

Wow, what a nice clean renovation! The theater where we went had an awesome stage and great performance. Staff are friendly and attentive. Everything is clean and well taken care of. We will return to Club regent for the shows and stay for the great dinner.

Very disappointing! I was confronted by security and asked to wear a mask I am medical exempt and completely unable to wear one. They called for two managers who didn't even introduce themselves and proceeded to ask me what I wanted. I told them that I wanted to play and that I was medical exempt. They basically told me they didn't care and to leave. Which means they didn't care about my disability. A government entity who should know better and abide by the country's Charter of Rights which they infringed....

Newly renovated and connected to Canada Inns hotel. Canada Inn has buffet lunch and dinner. Good selection of buffet items. The Casino is great fun and if you have an event the Club Regent Event Centre is the place to hold it. Lots of parking and security.

Went to play bingo with mother in law and her mother had a good time! Loved the free mocha's and bingo was kinda mindless took little to no effort just pressed a button and the computer searched my moves. Priced decent I think I played 15 sheets for 20$ and an extra 4$ got me playing extras in-between. So, for an evening out to be social with the girls and a chance to win money this was a good idea.

Went to see Bony M at Event Centre in December. The seating used to be so nice in there. I guess in an effort to jam more people in they now have these horrid narrow seats with sharp metal drink holders that dig into your thighs when you try to get up. I won't be returning.

They have to find a way for taking reservations and contacting customers when there tables are ready. Open the side bar for drink sales so customers don't bother customers having dinner in the restaurant/bar. Updated your tills at center bar, it's the slowest service possible right now.

I am used to going to the Fallsview in Niagara Falls, but I enjoyed this place quite a bit. Some of the perks: in-house McDonalds, nice decor (makes you feel like you're in Jurassic Park or something), and I liked some of the table staff. Had fun playing bingo here the other day. Was sad that the aquarium is being remodelled. Staff there told me that it has been closed for over a year. They said it was supposed to open again in 2018, but no one knows when⁉ My daughter wanted to go to see the aquarium for her 18th birthday, but it looks like it will still be closed then. Bingo merge was a mistake they save tons of money and since that merge a lot of issue with the computer system. They seems not able to find the problem . The only reason I went there was to see the aquarium. Swimming with the fish was definitely a cool thing . Too bad you let the Conpany go that took care of the aquarium after at least 15 years . Im sure the "aquarium staff " that took care of the tank sure misses the fish , we put alot of work and caring into keeping the display nice for the puplic and boy did we get alot of compliments for doing that ! I take it that it wasn't appreciated by management or they ( the casino) wouldn't have let us go , too bad for you I guess , all that work and design to install such a beautiful tank ( your" main attraction ") , so what did you do with all the display fish ? Did.they all die because there was no staff to service the equipment and feed them and cure their ailments when they got some ..... who really knows . The Public really enjoyed watching the fish , for some it was quite spectacular because not everyone can get away and see them in the ocean . Bad call on your part ! And the Casino, well don't gamble, can't afford to give the Feds more of my money cause im TAXED to death !

If you suffer from Tourette's be ready to bring a doctors note. I was told I can't place a bet because I had a tick around a table no warning or anything. when I explained my situation the dealer began to challenge me and had no clue what I'm saying because of her inability to listen. This leads to her supervisor coming over and trying to muscle me. If your employees are not fluent in English it's not my fault, and nothing qualifies these supervisors to dignose and doubt me. This hotel will discrimate against us over and over again. Be ready to be humiliated by the doctors over at regent casino.

My only complaint was that the electronic roulette and blackjack machines had only a couple screens that worked when we went so I never got a chance to play either of them because they were being used. I assume they will have them fixed soon. Just it was a little disappointing seeing so many screens that needed fixed. Other than that this is a very good casino to go too!

Ate here for the first time in the restaurant. I am allergic to Bell peppers and our server, Kathleen was on it right away, she brought the chef, Ron, out who made me a huge salad plate with no peppers. Nothing was too much trouble. I had the soup and salad, and my husband had the ribs which he loved. Jeff also stopped by to see if everything was ok, we were very pleased and will be back.
