Usually have a had a great experience here. Seems service/value has gone out the window. $20 for a $3 dollar bagged salad. Management had no answers. I usually don't leave reviews but wasn't wanting to spend $100+ to have a bottle of wine and send back a couple salads.

Not a good place to pick up online orders. If you are not able to serve skip the dishes at time, please don't take the orders. There is pause button on aap, that you can press to stop new orders. As a courier, we paid for delivery not for Wait. Please improve your service.

The cooks at Browns Socialhouse ( Ridgecrest ) do a great job. We enjoy the food there. Most staff are genuine, friendly, helpful & quick... Glad to have this restaurant in our neighbourhood! Suggest: Burgers have been great thus far...(Hubby orders extra mushrooms) Fries are excellent! 2021- Covid times made for a weird year, but we still order & pick up from this restaurant a few times a month. Very happy with our meals. Can't wait ( but will) until we can do our weekly treat meal there! 2022 - *adding: Recently going vegetarian so am happy to have Crispy Cauliflower Bites & other options on the menu!

Great patio and atmosphere. Not a lot of option around the area, so its nice go be able to go to a place like this. Normally the food is really good, last time I went was just OK - but they remedied it quickly for us.

We live in the area and wanted to check out La Poutine week. We usually like to spread the take out to different restaurants, and unfortunately this one wont make cut in our rotation. The poutine was pretty good as well as fish tacos however we ordered a kids fettuccine for $10 which came with lovely burnt garlic toast. You can't send this out - it's inedible. Their website had a promo for free dessert if you spend $50 and wasn't included.

Food was good. Our server on the other hand was not. A blonde lady served our table last night and did not attend to us. Constantly had to ask for service and our table was filthy. Perhaps time to have a talk on how to properly serve a table. Our evening experience was disappointing.

I like Brown's but our server today was so pushy that it made me so uncomfortable. My friend arrived 5 minutes prior to myself getting there to meet her on the patio, I arrive and the server asks what I would like, I order a water (with intentions of ordering a drink and food shortly). I guess I wasn't quick enough because she then let us know that there's a wait for tables on the patio and there's is a 90 minute time limit so if we were planning on ordering food we do it "sooner than later". I felt rushed and judged for not ordering the minute I sat down. We ended up leaving shortly after 60 minutes and I ordered food and a drink, but this specific server needs to calm down and stop seeing someone who needs a minute as a "wasted table" as I am sure that's exactly what she was thinking.

Great tasting meal. Both my partner and I really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the schezuan noodle bowl and my partner ordered a half size chicken caeser. She said it was one of the best caeser's she's had in a long time. The chicken was really good she said. I loved my dish and would order it again. Little pricey for what you're eating but the service and atmosphere made up for it in my opinion.

Too hot to cook dinner so we ordered Skip the Dishes from Browns Social House on Main in Winnipeg. My order was the Southwestern Bowl which was great! Hubby had a burger/fries/onion rings - didn’t disappoint! Mom had Fish & chips & she was very satisfied! Thank you for a great dinner!

Four if us went. We were told we couldn’t order onion rings because they were saving them for the Burger Week burgers. Burger Week was over last week and we werent even explained what the burger was or offered the burger. The Pilsner tap beer I had tasted like dish water. Not sure if their taps or lines arent clean but it tasted bad. My buddies steak was almost well done and he ordered it medium rare. His wife ordered a salad with Ranch dressing on the side but it didn’t come with the dressing and when she asked about it they said they were out of ranch dressing. I found my Pub Burger had no flavour and the fries werent even warm and such a small portion. I found the food to be medioker at best. Something I could have got at a greasy spoon for a fraction of the cost. The wife did like her French Dip sandwich. Oh and $4 for a coke thats half full of ice? Pub burger/fries, french dip sandwich/Caesar salad, plate of fies with parmesan cheese, two tap beers and a cocktail was $82+. Crazy expensive for sub par food and beer. Staff was polite.

Most what to expect from a chain... Including very interruption prone serving staff. For some reason they feel that's it's ok to walk up to your table and immediately start talking over your conversation, every five minutes. Very little respect shown to the conversation the diners are having. This has been my experience after several visits to this particular location. Although it appears to be pandemic to most restaurants these days. Reflective of management I suppose.

The vibe was just OK. Walking directly thru their enclosed patio to get to the I ndoor restaurant was not impressive. People eating while you shook off the out doors just seems weird. The covid prices were way too high so we felt the value did not correlate with the quality of the food which was just OK. Consumers will be absorbing the cost of the pandemic to businesses but if they are too high it will turn off consumers from going out as frequently.

I used to order smokehouse burger and it was delicious! This evening we order burgers for supper and something must have gone wrong in the kitchen. One side of the burger was burnt (4 of them) the meat was dry and it seemed they didn’t seasoned it at all not even salt.

Waited 20 mins just to be greeted by a waiter on the patio, decided to move inside because of the wind and the manager was very rude b*tching about us moving tables and then we waited 35 mins just for them to bring us flat pops and take our order. Had to ask 3 times for our food. When we received our food it was half cold and half burnt!!! The chef came out of the kitchen only to stand across the bar to give me and my family mean intimidating stare down, I did not enjoy the service the whole entire staff was completely and utterly disrespectful to us only native people in the restaurant. This goes to show racism still strives and how people have no respect for indigenous peoples , can’t even enjoy a nice dinner. I don’t recommend this restaurant

I dont want to give even one star for their service.The staff especially who worked at the front of the restaurant on October 10th between 8pm and 8:15 pm was very rude and non-friendly. She was very very rude and i do not think anyone of such character should be working at customer service..She was being racist and this is the second time that i experience service problems from this restaurent.

Am a frequent order from browns Main Street (twice a month). During the pandemic been trying to support restaurants. The last two times I have placed a pick up order we have been disappointed first time they forgot two of the side salads that came with cod bowls- not a huge deal. However last night ordered -the girl answering the phone put me on hold at least 6 times while taking my order- super rude and my order was wrong I asked for an extra piece of cod in my bowl and paid almost $10 for it and the fish was not included, I asked for tartar sauce on the side and came in it instead. Disappointing and then restaurants wonder why people go else where. When I called I should have asked to speak to a manager however the person answering the phone said sorry we are really busy with the new restrictions that changed- poor answer for customer service for take out clients!

I come here on a pretty regular basis and it's always a good time. The food is good and the drink selection is good as well. I try to make happy hour as it has some nice discounts on some drinks and appetizers. I find that the food portions are generous and the staff is always friendly. The food for the most part is good although there are better and worse days but I guess it depends on who's in the kitchen. I have tried a wide variety on the menu and can say that the burgers and salads are always good, the main courses are hit and miss as are the appetizers but overall for a neighbourhood pub the food is good. Good location as there is no competition nearby and decent parking setup. I will be back.

We moved into the area about a year ago and decided to try this location out. I wasn't impressed. I decided to give it another chance this evening, as maybe my first experience was a fluke. Nope, unfortunately not. My husband ordered a side salad and two happy hour appetizers. I ordered the soup, salad and garlic bread. He received what can only be described as a sprinkling of lettuce for $10. His fried pickles were tiny and basic. His fries were tasty but looked like half a potatoes worth. I received the wrong salad which was switched out for the correct one eventually. My soup was delicious. We paid 4.25 each for POP. The portions are ridiculously small and the value for money is non-exisitant. If you are going to give tiny portions of food for alot of money, the food better be AMAZING. When it's not, it really feels like a rip off. Thankfully our server was very friendly. We paid $60 for our meal and ended up having to go home and eat... not worth the money.

Tried to come here with one friend, the waitress was so rude when we asked if we could make a reservation, we waited for someone to ask this question to for a few minutes and we had to chase after her on the patio. We also asked what the wait time was and she flat out just walked away from us without answering. A group outside had to answer our question, which was 3 hours wait time to get onto the patio and the staff told that group to not even bother waiting and they were wasting their time. So rude..

We like to support local during this crazy time and so we ordered our usual from Browns SocialHouse. We ordered two appetizers and two mains and EVERYTHING was bordering on burned. Wings were so dry you could hardly find any meat, ribs were super well done. My husbands chicken sandwich was almost black. My cowboy salad had burned croutons and super dry and tasteless chicken. It’s as though someone recooked yesterday’s meat and then had a nap while it was all cooking. I feel like our options for take out just dropped one place. ☹️

Always have a great time at Browns, great food and service to match. Great location for drinks and appetizers or coffee and dessert in the patio area. My fiance and I love the atmosphere weather were their for date night or with friends it's a comfortable and versatile restaurant. Last time we were there our server was great, I wish I could remember her name, super nice girl short brunette, awesome service and handled our food issue very professionally. The manager was also amazing - my fiance ordered a burger that was described to not have onions (hes allergic), and when he received it there was a peice of onion in the burger. He caught it in time and the manager worked everything out for and was so kind and hospitable, a very good young professional. Will definitely go back again!

I love this place. It has good food. The patio is awesome. If it is cool it had heaters.went today for wpg burger week. Pulled pork on burger with jalapeño and cilantro slaw. Absolutely delight . Was hesitant with pulled pork but this was one of my faves. Sat on patio and had a lovely lunch. Went sun eve for dinner. As usual the food was delicious and like the social drink prices. Service was quite swift. Good free parking.

I will start by saying that the food we had was good but the portion sizes are small. There are definitely better restaurants out there for the price you pay going here. As well the service we had was very poor. Our server and those who were covering for him treated us like cattle. The atmosphere wasn't nice at all. It's been quite a while since we've experienced this kind of poor service. We were there last Friday October 22nd, I went to take a sip of my water and ended up having glass break into my mouth from the glass my water was in. I had to remove shards from my mouth. I'm fortunate that I didn't swallow any or chew on it thinking it was ice. All our server did was take it away and say sorry that it happened. Never spoke another word of it again and there was no compensation for us with that happening. There wasn't even a manager that came out to address what happened. We walked away feeling very disappointed after just wanting to go out and enjoy a meal together and unwind from the week.

Sadly they do not carry the Mushroom burger anymore but the pub burgers we ordered were delicious . The dressing for the salad was great. Will definitely order again from here. The service was quick and order was correct.
