I am a beginner dancer (for real) and always have the best time at Hype! If you are nervous about being terrible and not fitting in, you have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this studio for beginners. If you're thinking about it, just do it you won't regret it!

Drop in dance classes for all skill levels. So much fun! I love the drop in classes but they also offer performance programs from time to time that span over weeks and allow you to get more technical and work towards a longer/bigger dance. Highly recommend! Anna and Mark and the other teachers are amazing and there's no need to be shy - everyone is just there to have fun :)

I’ve had such an awesome experience going to hype dance since moving to Kelowna . I love the drop in idea , it works well for my busy schedule and the teachers are incredible, not just with their teaching abilities, but for the support they give everyone in the studio to make you feel so welcome, it definitely has made me find my love for dancing again. They have a fantastic videographer and knowledgeable teachers , I highly recommend checking out a class or two!

Super fun experience for my first hip hop class! Brenna was warm and welcoming, she really took the time to help everyone through the choreograph, until we were ready to move on to the next steps. I will definitely be back for more classes. Definitely a fun way to workout and get your sweat on!

BRENNA WAS UNREAL! she made the class so so fun even when i was LITERALLY soooo bad at dancing! I went to the drop in hip-hop on wednesday night and she seriously made my entire week! Loved it and 100% will come again and have been recommending to tonnesssss of people :)

Not a place for beginners. And to be fair, I'm a 34 year old guy who doesn't look like he belongs anywhere near a dance studio, which is why I picked what was advertised as a drop in class for "complete beginners". Was informed when I arrived that they're implementing more intermediate routines because of smaller class sizes, but I should be able to keep up. I held the class back for a solid 20 minutes before I realised I was way out of my league and left. All that was said to me as I left was "awwwwww, thanks for trying. We'll have beginner classes again in a couple weeks".

I think it is an AMAZING studio with great teachers for hip-hop, contemporary & commercial. The workshops and classes are super fun and a way to meet incredible people from all nationalities. I was looking dancing lessons for adults this is a great one if you are a person that has been wanting to give it a shot or have some past experience! Kuddos for all the hard work! Oh! And they also have online tutorials which are high quality as well

Anna (and the rest of the Hype team!) have always made me feel welcome and included in each class. Her routines are the bomb diggity (yes, you read that right) and I always leave class feeling confident and just so happy! Its great for beginners but she also adds in details and things to focus on if you are an intermediate or more advanced dancer so it is fun for everyone! Highly recommend any of her classes. Also the private parties for bachelorette or other events are awesome too!

THE BEST DANCE STUDIO IN KELOWNA HANDS DOWN Coming from a small town with no resources for adult dance classes, I was so excited to hear when Hype Dance opened up in Kelowna! They offer so many different styles of dance from beginner up to advanced! There is literally a class for everyone ! The instructors are so knowledgeable in their craft as well as so patient and diligent with all their students! I recommend Hype Dance to everyone and anyone who is at all interested in in doing drop in classes in Kelowna ! THEY DO NOT DISAPPOINT ????????????
