Open late (unitl 2am, last order 12). Great cheap food. Great service. We got here aroun 10pm on a weekday. Most other places were closed and we were thrilled to find this cozy place with great food. $5 bucks would get you a meal and you pay extra for sides ($2 for the most part) and the drinks. There seems to be specials on several drinks each day) would recommend this place any day to anyone.

We really enjoyed Doc's, and must have lucked out, based on the other reviews here, as our server was fantastic! Wish I could recall her name to make note of it. For the value, it's hard to beat, especially in downtown Kelowna. We came for dinner, which has a special $6 menu with really great offerings. Good selection of items, a few decent gluten-free items (though a few more would be awesome!), and one of the GF items they did have are the Tacos El Cerdo, which are excellent! I could not believe this meal was only $6, I received 3 huge tacos loaded with a very generous helping of shredded pork on each, and really tasty. We also shared the spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips only, and my daughter had a breakfast plate that, again, was a very generous helping for only $6. Reasonable drink prices, too. Unique and fun atmosphere too, set up like an old brownstone inside. We will go back.

I used to love going here when I was young and it was after 1 am. Don't do that a whole lot now a days so I usually land there during the day time. When I sat down and was waiting for friends to arrive, the waitress refused to acknowledge me. She took orders from the table next to me, (who came in after I did). I had to go up to her when she was punching in their orders, and politely requested a pint of lager. When I say this, I truly mean I had not exchanged ANY words with her, so there's no way she had a reason to intentionally exclude me from being served. The lager came, and it may as well have been water. My friends arrived, she approached them immediately, they ordered, and she ran away immediately. My friend friend had to flag her down, since at this point I doubted she'd to listen to me- and we switched the lager to a pilsner. The first sip I took of that, had an ice cube in it. Pretty sure ice is NEVER supposed to go into beer.. Then, after the entire two drinks I had, I somehow ended up paying $19. Not sure if the waitress just had it out for me, but since this isn't the first bad experience I've had here, I will not be returning.

Went in for the popular wing night and had a fantastic experience. This time of year it wasn't uncomfortably busy, but steady. Our waitress was awesome, great personality that had us laughing and thst always make the night better. Wings and drink we delicious, nothing to complain about. Wait times were great. Willing to bet in the summer months it may take a bit longer as the city gets super busy, but as long as they have the same staff, you wouldn't know it with the great staff.

My husband and I popped into Docs for a drink on a Saturday night. We were greeted at the door by a friendly front of house man. We sat at the bar and were served by another happy friendly man. Love the atmosphere of the place but the service was exemplary. We’ll be back.

Food is really great and at awesome prices: you won't find better food in town for this inexpensive. It's a great deal, and there's quite a few good vegetarian options which is nice. The veggie burger is the best I've had anywhere. However, the service is always terrible even when the restaurant is nearly empty. The servers stand around talking to each other instead of coming to the table, and the wait in between the very infrequent table visits is ridiculous. It took half an hour to get the bill during one visit. Yikes. Also, every time we go here there's new servers. Very frustrating. But we'll keep going because the food, prices, and location are great.

I have frequented Doc's for several years & though all experiences have been great, overall I do recommend this venue for the good bands they bring in on occasion & their decent pub food. Service has always been decent, though remember this is a pub first & foremost. Arriving late night does often result in curt door staff, and arriving drunk definitely wont help either. You'll have no problem leaving drunk though.

I've only been here for wings on wing night a few times. The food is very good and the decor is rustic (and very dark). But the restaurant does not accommodate groups of more than 4 very well, and we usually have to break up into different tables on busy nights. The staff also get easily frustrated when members of the same group are coming, trying to sit together, and all ordering at different times, which is unfortunate for waiters and customers alike. I would suggest Doc's if you have a small, organized group and are going on a slower night.

Been there several times in the summer for their w/e breakfast special and we love to sit outside and watch the people, service and food were nothing but very good at the least considering they were typically super busy. We were in the area this past Sunday 01/28/18 and for obvious reasons went inside for food. It was brisk in there but not overly busy by any means. There were several empty tables, but we spotted the one we wanted and a couple seemingly trying to pay their bill, finally got up, gave us their table and they ended up having to flag down their server to pay the bill. After we sat down, the server walked by us several times and never even gave us a look. We finally got her attention and eventually made her way to our table, I said thanks and that a few more minutes we were getting ready to get up and leave as we thought no one was going to serve us. Then she gave us some attitude about not saying anything, do we still want menus and she'd clean the table. We said yes, we'll stay. We got that look and she walked away, and we just looked at each other and said, we're done, no need for this, it's not worth it. If she doesn't want to be here, then neither do we. We walked out, and I thanked her for the serving of attitude and got the stare, like this is all on you, I did nothing wrong and I think she said sorry... It'll be a while and warm again before we consider returning.

I have to give this place five stars. I admittedly don't remember much of what happened when I was there, as I came with a couple people I met after being at another bar downtown. However, the place seemed okay: the staff were friendly, the drinks I got reasonably priced, and the smoke pit out back was better than other ones I've seen in town. I somehow made it home without losing any personal items or money, so it must have been a pretty good bar.

This is my personal favorite go to place. From drinks (White Summer and Tropical Summer and Caesars are the best here) to eggs benedict, to burgers. Wing Wednesdays are $3.50 for a plate of 10. Where else can you find that. Pub fare is all $7 for a plate easily priced as $15 elsewhere. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the wait times even when fully packed are very acceptable especially for the affordability. Staff is always respectful and knowledgeable on most if not the entire menu and specials.

If I lived in Kelowna, I would definitely be a regular here. The $5 food menu is insanely cheap, the food is really good, and the portion sizes are great - overall amazing value on the grub front. The drink selection is great with some killer drink specials throughout the week which is always a plus. The atmosphere is laid back, comfortable, and has a rustic pub feel which I really enjoy. Overall Doc's is a great place to have a drink, grab a bite, and hang out with friends. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

I have had several bad experiences to date, they charged me for an extra double one time and another time added an automatic gratuity when we didn't have enough people to be charged an automatic gratuity. The menu is cost effective but you get what you pay for. I recommend that you get your waitress to leave you cups at the table so they dont overcharge. Terrible attitudes, service and food quality.

A fun place to see bands. I used to find their live music just to loud, it made it very hard to have a conversation but now it's perfect. Loud enough to dance but if you move a little away from the stage it's easy to hear another person. The food is decent pub style. The drinks are basic but with a fair price. I've gone several times and will go back. Expect a cover charge if there's live music. Washrooms are clean. Staff is friendly.

Doc Willoughby surprises with unexpected value in a rustic yet amazing location. The half rack of ribs and salad for $10 is worth traveling for, but yesterday's fries reheated was a turnoff. The free WiFi (password on the menu), and live entertainment puts Docs in the 5 star range but it was just a quiet lunch today. They need more plugs to charge hungry phones.

For me personally I was not a fan of the decor or atmosphere of the place. It felt as though they were trying to replicate the feeling of a dive bar you find in a big city. The music was loud and made it difficult to talk with your party. I will say however that the staff were amazingly friendly and there is absolutely nothing wrong with docs however it just does not offer an atmosphere that I personally enjoy. I would still highly reccomed this place to others as it's a great place to go depending on what your looking for.

I have never had such a bad experience anywhere, from the service to the management. After discovering that my "vegetarian" spring rolls were actually pork, the server treated me as an inconvenience. When I reviewed on Facebook, the manager refused to believe I had been treated rudely and argued that his "staff assured him that they took the appropriate measures." He would not give up arguing via Facebook message until he had the sarcastic last word, and would not apologize for the behaviour of the server.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Been going for a few years now and was severely dissapointed today. Service staff didn't refill drinks or check on us. Had to waste 45 minutes with no food, and then other tables who arrived after us were served long before us and so we had to leave as we had to to back to work. On first impression this place has a poor layout, over priced drinks, a rather pathetic menu. As for the customer service it was very poor, no one was smiling, they were over serving irresponsibly, the security staff were very unprofessional and rude. one instance there was a friendly customer smiling and having dinner with his friends the bar tender over charged the customer on his bill and when he asked why he was over charged the security staff mishandled the situation and roughly escorted him and his friends to the door. Three tables that were in the area left shortly after due to the lack of professionalism and general lack of ethical customer service. I highly recommend choosing a different restaurant if you want to enjoy kelowna.

Went for a drink and a meal yesterday. The menu is completely different and the quality of food is very poor. We sent our meal back as we could not eat it. The food took around 45 min to arrive and was not even that busy. This would have been a one star rating if it was not for the manager Jordan. She went out of her way to ensure we were happy when we left and was awesome at making sure we did not feel uncomfortable. This may seem odd that I am giving a five star rating as the food and the menu are poor however Jordan was so good at her job and at customer service that I left this rating.

I like Doc's however, it IS illegal to photocopy and store government ID. It is not BC Liquor policy to photocopy and store government ID. It is ok to view your ID to prove you are of drinking age. RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE I was told that the driver's license information, all information as it is scanned, is being saved for 24hrs and then is out of the system. During that time my info is stored, will you be responsible for any hackers that may potentially steal my ID? NO OTHER place is scanning DL's. They are simply taking names and phone numbers. Why cant you do the same? Just write it down? You dont need to scan anything. Its unnecessary and dangerous AND illegal. I asked my lawyer friend and you cant scan govt docs. You can LOOK at them, not record them and asking the unassuming public to do so is wrong and ILLEGAL. Such a shame. I used to love Docs

I have never written a bad review before about a place but after this weekend I feel the need to have this addressed. Unfortunately this place has some of the Rudest staff I have ever met. The waitress Emily started off being rude with us because she was busy. Later in the evening she walked by and dropped a glass on my friends foot and walked off without even stopping to see if my friend was ok. When I went to bring it to her attention and ask for something to clean her foot with and a bandaid she swore at me and told me she was too busy to deal with our problems. I spoke with another waitress and the manager and no one seemed to care that a customer was injured on their property. She had glass in her foot and there was blood on the floor before anyone decided to help. It's too bad because we were enjoying our night there. We all understand accidents happen, but there is absolutely no reason for staff to treat customer's with such little respect and to swear at them when they are asking them to acknowledge an accident in their place of business. By far Emily was the worst one, but the other staff could have stood up to the plate and offered assistance

Used to frequent this place, loved getting wings on wing night, appies, or items off their $7 menu. The prices have slowly been creeping up, but since going back for the first time after the lockdown we noticed the prices had jumped up quite significantly, and the specials like wing Wednesday’s were hardly worthwhile anymore. $9 for 10 wings is not a good deal, and that’s the “wing night” price! Really sad because docs used to be our #1 spot if we wanted a couple drinks and a bite, and loved to take visiting friends there for a tasty, decently priced meal when they came to visit town. This is a casual little pub in Kewlona. Except it's not little...it's huge inside. The location is perfect with a great patio that is just away from the glare of the sun. They have an awesome 5$ menu. We had the pulled pork, the jalapeños and the salad. The food was excellent. We didn't try the all day breakfast but it looks great and most things are 5$. Great place.

Staff are all amazingly friendly and fun. Good food and drink specials at half the price of the brand name bars in town! A fun atmosphere and free bingo on Monday nites! Comfortable and cozy inside or on the patio. If you’re from Edmonton it will remind you of the Strathcona or Commercial hotel bars.

Don't take the three starts in a wrong way, this place is a lot of fun with a good kitchen staff and open till 2 AM in Kelowna most nights. If you are in your mid 20's and would like to hang with a hip crowd, this is on of the few places in Kelowna to be at.

There's frequently good live music here, but when there is you have to bump elbows constantly because it's always packed to the brim. The nachos and drink selection are maybe the best for a pub in Kelowna. They should just renovate to make room for a real dancefloor and more room for the bar lineup.

Worst place in Kelowna!! went there with a huge group of friends to party around 10 pm on a Saturday, was our first time there and for sure our last ..experience was awful, starting with that super rude dwarf at the door (the one that takes money for cover. BTW bring only cash,he doesn't take CC.. very shady) and his attitude. Then the bartender with long beard...OMG!! what's wrong with this place and the staff hating their job!!

Thank you for your forward thinking and support of a world class sport on behalf of all the footie fans in our local Community. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was a packed venue for the event. Great service from the friendly staff with good beers and pub grub. Looking forward to the next time :)

This is the best place in Kelowna for price and great customer experience, our waitress Amanda was fantastic, best $3:50 for wings and all food under $7. Great place, the rest are all only playing this place is seriously food and customer focused. We will be back

Once you are inside its a great place for food and drinks. Been a fan of it for years. Its getting inside that is the problem. Bouncer will attempt to take advantage of you if he believes you are intoxicated and takes more money than what cover is. This happened once and the manager was informed of the situation and returned the money. Which the whole group that witnessed the initial situation appreciated. At a later date the bouncer was called out for it in a non-confrontational way to ask for an explanation. Well he clearly did not like that. A group of us have come to find out that our friend that called out the bouncer for theft has been banned from Doc's. We were told this by a bouncer at another bar who has access to this information when he scans IDs for entry. Definitely understand the need for a bouncer at a Kelowna bar but the hot head that currently works the front is going to turn away a lot of business with how he acts. Our group probably wont be going back as long as our friend is banned.
