Nice local spot. The place is huge with a dining room, bar, backroom and more. Great for a casual meal, watching the game, or hitting up a show on comedy night. Food was fresh and tasty. They're not stingy with sauces and the food is good value overall. Lots of drink variety at fair prices too. I'll be a regular soon. Make sure to check out the specials online.

I love coming here. Whether it's wing night, comedy night, drinking night, or just dinner it always satisfies. The servers are all awesome, the food is great, and there are usually good drink deals. Their month long specials are often really good too (and a great idea to have the same special for a whole month). Even though it's a sports bar I think of it as just a good neighborhood pub. Not pretentious, and good for just a casual outing.

Beef dip was so juicy, a plus because it was ordered without mayo or anything so thats really expertly done,and the au ju my god it was great so was the grilled cheese and honey mustard. Tasty food here, particularly for a sports bar. They keep the menu fresh with themed monthly specials (Mexican, Ukranian, etc), and some of their house specials are delicious. The bacon potato soup is really good, for example. If you're into MMA (I'm not) I imagine this is the place to be, as they advertise they cover all the fights. They have a comedy night, but I haven't been to it. I work around the corner so I'm here for lunches.

We come here for many years for wings on Wednesday’s. They got good beer on tap and service has always been good. Servers are friendly and have a good attitude! Wings always taste good! The only complaint I have is that there was a special flavour for the wings which was chipotle bbq honey but only for one night and I wish they put it on their regular menu.

Loved going to dakoda so when the menu changed and new cook we actually stopped going from the lack of quality. After over a year we decided to give them another try and we were so happy to see the food is fantastic as before, if not better. Still sad to see some of our favorites like Donair poutine or Greek poutine (my sons favourites) hadn't returned, but hubby and I definitely have some new favourites. I'm so excited to have our go-to restaurant back!

I was at Dakodas Friday night with a group of students from UBCO and as soon as I arrived and went near the bar, an employee very rudely told a group of us to move out of their way. Shortly after, another employee told us to move in the same manner. I don't mind being asked to move if, but I was never once asked, I was rudely told to move by some very clearly annoyed employees. May I remind you that you work in customer service, and many of us were purchasing drinks. I'm sure if we would have been an older crowd, we would not have been talked to so rudely. No matter who it is, customers should be treated with respect and talked to in a kind manner. On top of this, every other employee I encountered was cold and looked miserable. And when I asked for a water at the bar I was told that I had to wait while the bartender moved on to getting other's drinks first. I understand that I wasn't making a purchase at that moment, but it would have only taken a couple seconds of their time. I work at a winery, and I have never once told a customer that they have to wait until after I serve paying customers. You should not be working in customer service if you don't know how to treat people and put on a smile even when stressed, tired, or annoyed. I know what it is like to be swamped with customers in a small space, but I have never once been anything but kind, pleasant and respectful. And I have NEVER once told anyone to move out of my way. Totally unimpressed and I will never be back.

Not very often you can go to a place on wing Wednesday and get your wings so quickly that it almost burns your mouth in a good way! During this odd time, and after months of not eating out for being in a bar ,it is soooooo nice to go somewhere where the wait staff have faces, not masks. Wing Wednesday is a weekly tradition, so many delicious flavours to choose from, but if you like a bit of heat you can't go wrong with Dragon's breath. The atmosphere is great, friendly staff and fast service. Wednesday is also karaoke night, which is always fun!

Service and food was fine, but was really disappointed with the amount of smokers. (You would think due to the restrictions right now that they wouldn't allow cigarette smokers at the tables). Our first table was so bad being in between three tables of smokers that we requested to be moved to the very end. It helped, but if you are like me and get ill around cigarette smoke, this is not the place to go, to eat.

Just got back from father's day dinner and not impressed. If you are wanting to go out for the bar experience this pub may be for you as it seems they don't cater for folks looking too dine. After waiting 10 mins for drinks we waited another half hour too have our order taken. It took 15 mins too be served and the meal was mediocre at best. My son and I had the steak sandwich. Steak was not fresh and a bit burnt. Bread was soggy. If ur into deep fried food it looked ok. After dinner was done waitress was nowhere too be seen and was clearly only catering to the drinking folks. She came back too ask us if we needed our drinks topped up and left again without clearing the plates so we sat for another 10 mins waiting for our drinks and the bartender came and cleared our table but still no drinks. I could clearly see they were still sitting at the bar so I went and grabbed them myself. 20 mins later the waitress finally came with the bill. Like I said this place should only be considered a bar. Nothing more so I warn you if your looking for dinner with the kids and good service save your money and go somewhere else.

Dakodas Pub has the best beef dip in Kelowna!! Consistently good food. Tender Steaks, Very good fish and chips/salads Wings are great We split a 2pcs Hadock with fries and a Beef dip with salad almost every time we go for lunch. Staff are welcoming and good at their jobs. It really is a great place to eat.

Went for wings on Wednesday, 50 cent wings. Lots of flavours to choose from approximately 14 flavours but they also have specail wings flavors, if you're looking for hot wings this probably isnt the place. They also had karaoke that night which was pretty great tbh, the volume was pretty low so you could move and avoid the singing if you wanted to. I'd recommend giving it go, I'll go back and try the other wing flavours. Went August 07/2019

I come In almost every week for wings night but tonight I was forced to buy 2 drinks that I did not want witch forced me to not get my dinner I wanted because now not only was I buying 6$ worth of pop I didn't even have enough to get dinner for myself or my husband like I'm on a budget and I'm spending money at your establishment I should not be forced to buy a drink when I'm going to spend 30 - 40 $ there so they only got 15 $outta me see if I come back I'll get wings to go next time

I'm giving them 5 stars because the food is better than most pubs, and the prices are very reasonable. I usually get their wings, which are small but cheap on Wednesdays! Wouldn't get them any other day of the week. Their house fries are awesome, can't get enough! I've had some of their other food, like the yorkies and the ribs, both of which were OK. The alcohol is reasonably priced too, so overall I feel pretty good about this place.

Wings were okay at best, but what do you expect for wing night, gourmet wings, I think not. Pitcher(s) of beer were served in a timely manner, water seems to always slip the servers mind until the third request. Karaoke singers were very good, (shockingly). Overall experience is 8.1 out of 10.

Excellent! Used Skip The Dishes for the first time, was 1 hour for dinner. Took them 30 minutes to confirm the order, was starting to worry about our order, all was great though. Had the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Pizza, Loaded Pizza, plain cheese pizza, Ceasar Salad, and Jalapeño poppers. All was very good and tasty, pizza was nice thin crust. My 3 kids, 7 and under could have had 2 pizzas though. My only critic would be no drinks or plain cheese pizza are offered on Skip The Dishes and bacon on the ceasar salad would be nice, nothing off putting though. Overall we would definitely order again next time we come through Kelowna. Delish!

BEEF DIP!!!! Hands down the best Beef Dip!! Huge portion. The perfect combo of crispy onions, and horseradish mayo ! I love this place ! Free poker tourneys on Monday and Thursday night's at 7pm where you could win a GC good for that night.! The comedy is mediocre but that's to be expected for open Mic night. My daughter & I went specifically to watch a CFL game. We explained to our server that we needed to pace ourselves over the next 3 hours. She was awesome! Great staff and ownership is fully involved in day to day operations. Everyone is super friendly...great vibe to this pub. The food is as good as you will get anywhere. Went in for wings on a Wednesday. Ordered a Coke cause I don't drink. Got the coke and it was 90% ice 10% coke. Wings came cold and tasted stale, either old wings or dirty deep fry oil. When I told server about the wings she didn't care to offer me new ones or take them off Bill. Worste part is, my coke was $3.50!!! And they wouldn't allow a re fill!! When I asked the server why the coke was sp expensive and there were no re fills she said everyone complains about it and i tried to tell the owner but he just said if we lower the price of the pop then no one will drink booze. What about us people that don't drink. Brutal service, greedy owner. Will never come back.

Shortly after were started eating we were told that it was almost closing time. It was 11:10 PM. A Google search shows Friday night closing time as 12AM. We were just served portions of food that could not be consumed in one minute. We were then reminded twice that they were about to close. It was not a welcoming experience. It was pointless to take our order if there was no time to eat. I do not reccomend.
