A little gem in the heart of downtown Kamloops. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised how few people were there but, that just meant that we got the coveted fireside table. Food was good and this is a great spot for date night.

Worst experience so far , unfriendly staff and unhelpful, if you're in urgent medical needs , unreliable, food. I had fish and chips . Worst so far I felt I'll after that. They didn't care at all, I felt horrible and terrified until my husband picked me up, I only wanted to leave.

Went on Valentines and arrived at 8 simply to be told they were closing at 830. We double checked Google and Facebook but there were no updated hours anywhere. The waiter was nice and let us get a last minute order in, but im very disappointed I paid for a cab out simply to be hurried out the door 30mins later.

Right in the heart of Downtown Kamloops @ plaza hotel this diner is a cool place for weekends ! Live music is the catalyst for the weekend business . Food is average and not much variety in drafts beers . Hope they rework on designing their menu and service the appetizers with dips n accompaniments . Might try again !

Food was over priced (appetizer quantities given for meals, a laughable ramekins of bruschetta mix, worst cut of meat I've had in recent memory) and the service was almost nonexistent. We ordered a final drink and a dessert and after waiting 20 minutes we cancelled them and asked for our bills which took another 13 minutes. All this on a $150 tab for 4 meals. I would not recommend this to anyone.

2 stars because the food was ok. We ordered to a hotel and they didn’t put cutlery in the bags. What exactly do they expect us to eat a steak with? Or a salad? Fingers it is. (Jk we got some plastic cutlery from our hotel) but the dumplings and dry ribs had no sauce to dip. Everywhere else I have ordered these dishes from they have came with dipping sauces. Super basic service and forgettable food.

I never even knew about this place until attending a paint nite here. Our server was very sweet and easy to talk to and my quesadilla I ordered was very good! Unfortunately I can't give a better star rating though just based on the overall food experience of everyone else. My sister ordered the salmon platter which she said tasted good (the salmon) but the rice it came with was undercooked and unseasoned. Her vegetables were literally rotten and yellow, so much so that I thought her carrots were yams. We know they were rotten because the people beside us ordered the same thing and their veggies where bright green/orange and fresh. They actually had to send back their plate though because the salmon was raw. The kitchen took so long that his friend had finished his plate before his food even got there. He had to ask for it to go which is completely unacceptable. Our server gave us free shots but only took 5 dollars off of my sister's meal. It's unfortunate but I will not be returning here until the kitchen can get its act together. I'm not the first one to state that the kitchen is a mess and even our server said so.

Maybe this place is good as a drink place/bar. The food is not average but just not good. Ordered prawns Alfredo - linguini was too firm, sauce was sour and not tasty at all. Didn't order drinks.

I had problem with my order that was resolved professionally by both Skip The Dishes and Tumbleweeds Lounge. Skip refunded the dish, and Tumbleweeds remade it for me when I called and asked. I'm impressed, and the Beef Dip and Fish and Chips were excellent. I will order from here again despite the mix up.

Had delightful pre dinner drinks at Tumbleweeds Lounge and then decided to stay for dinner. We weren’t disappointed, waiter was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go there again when back in Kamloops.

Overpriced, terrible food. I went there for my lunch break with my girlfriend we waited for 35 minutes for a Greek salad with chicken and a turkey club with fries. The Greek salad dressing is from kraft bottle (you can tell by the xantham gum thickness) they tried to pass it off as a vinaigrette, please...A vinaigrette is smoother and cleaner looking. On top of that it wasn't even Greek dressing!! It was Italian!! They couldn't even get the correct salad dressing right!! The chicken with it looked grey and boiled instead of grilled. As for the turkey club, the bread was stale as if left out for a week, I took two bites and couldn't stomach it. The bacon was cold, cheese unmelted. On the plus the fries were good. All in all I would not recommend this place for what they charge. Essentially your paying for crappy overpriced pub food in a restaurant setting.

Terrible food. 60 bucks for a raw doughy pizza, cold boiled chicken lettuce wraps and mediocre wings. Currently have the pizza in our own oven to finish it because we are hungry.

Held our department Christmas party here last week. It was a hit! Cheri and the rest of the bar staff looked after our group in every way and the chef was very accommodating in providing selections not on the current menu. I highly recommend it, cozy atmosphere, good value, great food, and great service, unlike the previous Fireside Grill, which tried to be high end but the food quality didn't match the prices nor did the service. Thanks again Cheri and team!

Good place for drinks and dinner was okay but the service was HORRIBLE!! Our server "Dionne" was the worst. Honestly I don't think we will be back for a bit. I hope management looks at these reviews and gives her better training! We go out to eat a lot and like supporting pubs but I've never had that BAD of service and the when we tipped is was RUDE because it wasn't enough, maybe do a better job and you'll make better tips!!

Very poor experience! I ordered the burger which was $13 on the menu, when the bill came I was charged $16 for it. When i disputed it with the waitress, they would not adjust it! At first she said the fries were extra. When i checked the menu, it says fries included. When I asked the waitress about this again she said the menu is wrong and the till is right. Very poor service and did not appreciate the fib the waitress told. The burger meat tasted of low quality. The fries however were very good.

terrible service,sat for 20mins and didn’t even get offered water or a menu.This place should try and be great being connected to the plaza hotel but unfortunately its going downhill.until the owner can get it together and hire the staff needed and maybe improve the menu I would not waste your money and instead head down to the frick and frack where the service and food is alot better.

Service was strange. Was pretty mych ignored, took a seat, someone asked how many more were coming ( I was at a table for two) and when I said just me, the person walked away. And didn't come back with water, a menu, nothing. Sat there for a while as the person pretty much ignored me doing other things abd finally just yelled out Could I have some black tea, please? It eventually showed up and I was told to pay then. No would you like a menu? Anything else? Nope. Just pay now. Not sure I will go back.

Went in to Tumbleweed Lounge Saturday night.. the food was not great and over priced. The cocktails were good. We were served by a young waitress with blonde hair. She was extremely inattentive. My sister had to call her over for everything we needed. didn’t ask how our food was and we had to go up to the bar for the bill. seemed to hate her job. Guess she didn’t need our cash enough to provide decent service...maybe no experience? Over all, food was alright, drinks were good and service was terrible. Not sure if we will go back

This was a fun place I randomly stopped in here as I was freezing walking down the street. I was instantly happy I stopped in here. The cocktails were tasty and even tho it seemed like there was only 1 bartender on that night as it was slow or kind of close to closing she was doing a great job running around and keeping everyone happy. She seemed to be enjoying interactions with everyone. I will check this place out the next time I'm in town for sure

Great staff, friendly, professional, efficient. Been coming since Buskers corner started in August. Took maybe 2 weeks until all the staff recognized me and knew my name. They even know my go to drink. Kevin is a great host for busker's corner, energetic vibe every Thursday. Megan, Logan, Annika, the server's I have had nothing but exceptional service from all of them. Troy the manager has even come over to our table and asked how we're doing when they have updated the food menu. The food is delicious, definitely worth it. Even been bought a drink on the house a few times for being a regular. Definitely a recommendation to friends and anyone looking for a new place to try

I liked hanging out here. The food was nice. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. There was great musical entertainment while we had dinner and other diners seemed to enjoy it too. Forgot to take pictures of the food but it was very tasty. The manager was also on the floor chatting with customers and saying hello. The chef also came out from time to time. We got a bottle for wine for only $15 - it is the Saturday special. The dinner special was Duck or Steak and Shrimp. Overall great experience (except for the wet dish and the cracked glass).
