A little gem of a lounge that I found. Great atmosphere with high ceilings, big booths, unique decor and ambiance you'll have to experience for yourself to appreciate. Super friendly staff. Food was tasty and all COVID19 protocols were observed. They are only accepting debit or credit at this time in order to minimize contact exposure. Definitely a place to try out.

waitresses were nice, service was fast. Food was.. lacking. I had the beef dip and the bottom bun was so soggy I couldn't pick it up in 1 piece I had to cut it. Kinda like it was microwave defrosted without being flipped to keep the moisture spread out.

Covid19 update! Aug 2020. Went to Barside for an old man at the bar dinner. Was a top notch experience. The staff were just as friendly as ever, as a frequent patron, the personalized welcoming back was very nice. The covid measures in place are NOT intrusive and weird like some places. There is plexiglass at the bar now, which im OK with, i didnt find it to distracting or in the way. I stayed for the hockey game, ordered the Barside Burger and waffle fries, add bacon ???? and some fine Steamworks IPA. Ice cold beer within a minute in my hands. Food in front of me <15 mins. Doesnt get any better than this. =========≠==================== Best nachos in Kamloops. Great selection of craft brew, great daily specials like cheap beer day on Weds. Cheap caesars everyday with a meat/cheese skewer. Great staff. ============================== Update! Been here many times since. Sad they got rid of Red Collar IPA and changed it to White IPA. But the food is still solid and service is great. I think the ladies here are some of the best waitresses in Kamloops.

Another amazing dinner at Bar side. The Valentine's day special was fantastic and filling. The service was great and it was also great to see our old friend Vince who always takes fantastic care of us. The live music was also impressive, Lindsay May is definitely a hit with the crowd.

Extremely disappointed in our experience. We ordered calamari, fish and chips, and a burger with salad. The calamari was a tiny portion for 19$, the fish was so small we asked the server to ask the cook where they got their fish from and he told her that it comes frozen, pre battered, and what you would get from a grocery store. There was no flavour in any of the food we had ordered.

Most of the meal was good , but the hash browns were some of the worst I have had anywhere . Our server never came to check on us after dropping off the food so we couldn't even get it fixed . Three days before that we had stopped by for lunch and found that 1/2 the lunch menu was out of stock !! Time for a new cook !

I called before me and my girlfriend were headed there for brunch, I called explaining that while at their restaurant for brunch id like to ask my girlfriend to be my bridesmaid. I was hoping they would be able to set up a surprise- very simple. A piece of paper saying bride to be and bridesmaid. They responded to me by basically yelling at me over the phone about how inappropriate this request was, how they had no time to do such a thing and then preceded to hang up on me. I have never had such an awful experience. To say the least, we did not go there, we called white spot and they were happy to help! Two thumbs down for bar side lounge and grill! Very poor customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty bad when you don't allow supervised children in your restaurant. It's not like they are going to run into the casino and start gambling. It is totally separated from the Casino. Even Alchemy pub down town where they brew beer welcome children of all ages. and Even the restaurants at Cascade Casino up the hill allows children.
