Built by Allan Crich from Burns Lake, British Columbia. He cut the timber himself up the Liard River - floated them down the Liard and Mackenzie Rivers - and built the Friendship Centre. He also built a beautiful log home in Tuk, and many more log homes throughout the north and British Columbia and Alberta. He was an artist when it came to building log houses - many were built just by himself with no help.
