Went in yesterday at 820 and left at 835, maybe not quite 15 min, sat in the lounge, and was never greeted despite the waiter billing a table on both sides of us. Disappointing. Went to Rapscillion and had a fantastic dinner. Would've liked to try it out but they didn't really give us a chance. Update: went back and had a fantastic time. Great Jazz as well.

A beautiful and cozy upscale restaurant! One section provides a wonderfully cheery feeling with a corner view outside, while the other exudes a darker, more intimate sense of comfort. The food is absolutely delicious. You can, however, tell it's upscale, since the portion size is rather small for the amount you pay; conversely, the ingredients are quality, and the taste is heavenly. Patio is beautiful and food is delicious. However the service was disappointing. Although very nice they brought us our food but no plates or cutlery and the staff was very hard to find. Once someone did come back to the table he ran in and grabbed us plates however did not bring us cutlery. He then ran back inside too quickly and we had to go ask someone else for cutlery. Although not a deal breaker it was disappointing for the entire experience of their patio.

Horrible service, the Back Walnut Grand Board was a sparce selection of cheap deli meats and cheese's. Our steaks were cooked as we requested however the outsides were so charred up I've never seen this before on a rare steak, it was inedible. The burrata cheese was nice. However the prices across their whole menu have been increased quite considerably yet quality has gone down. Don't think I'll be returning here anymore.

We had reservations and were a little late but they were aware prior and accommodated. Restaurant was so clean, chic, fun atmosphere. I loved my chicken supreme, the steak was mediocre especially for the price. Definitely go somewhere else if you’re wanting a great steak at that price. Also the spring rolls tasted great but 2 rolls for $17 ???????? unfortunately it seems like they didn’t train there staff great on service. Our server was definitely inexperienced for this environment. I get it’s hard getting staff now a days but I’m sure he could have used some extra days following an experienced server. We weren’t in a huge rush but it took along time before our first drinks were ordered, we ended up ordering apps and mains, felt Like we were waiting forever for any type of food, our glasses empty and server not anywhere to call over even. Eventually the manager approached our table randomly said sorry for the wait the apps are on the house and coming. They arrived and max 5 Min our mains come rushing out at us, hadn’t even time to finish. Great atmosphere good food but the service wasn’t on par. Did I forget to mention it took them another 10 minutes to bring a steak knife? For a 60$ steak? They did reimburse us a portion of the bill without asking. Which was great. I just hope they start using the money to train staff better and then they won’t have to keep comping bills.

Absolutely great. From the food to the exceptional service and surroundings, a blend of modern and old, a unique dining experience. Come early to get a window seat or reserve ahead of time... We came back during the covid19 pandemic and sat on the beautiful multi level patio. Absolutely awesome under the setting sun. Good food,great drink,good times... Great take out as well. Ordered the BBQ steak and mash. Steak came perfectly cooked medium rare, roasted veggies to perfection, with slaw. A serious dinner for 4.

We came here for dessert and drinks, and its atmosphere was perfect for that. It's a stylish local spot to enjoy good food and drink in comfort with friends at a convenient location. We would be curious to try the dinner menu next time and explore the options a bit more. One of our servers was a bit rude but perhaps she was the exception or having a bad day, and our other server was very friendly, courteous, and professional.

Fourth visit and no disappointments.... the atmosphere, tasteful decor, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and fantastic selection of wines keeps us coming back. Calamari are finished perfectly, the best we’ve had. Radius changes it’s menu for the different seasons and use many local farms and suppliers which we love. Something for everyone. I really enjoyed the curry bowl, full of flavour and just the right amount of spices. The patio in the summer is fantastic for an evening out with friends.

My husband and I really enjoyed our first experience at this restaurant, and it was my first choice when it came time for my birthday. My husband called ahead and made reservations and mentioned that it was my birthday. He requested a dessert with a candle. We also mentioned to the waiter that it was my birthday. The dessert arrived without a candle. I was very disappointed in the fact that the waiter seemed indifferent made no apology and preceded to say that they had run out of candles. Food was flavourful, but portions were small and lacking in presentation, dishes with sauces on flat plates with no edges, not practical. Coffee came with lipstick on the cup. On a positive note, the ambiance is great. We will try you again, just not for my birthday.

Always love gong to Radius, I've had nothing buy excellent service even during large group events. I was just there recently for a work event and had a chance to sample a lot of their appetizers/party food and all of it was absolutely amazing. This is a great spot for group events, lunch or dinner, they also have a good selection of beer on tap, with multiple local options which is always nice to see.

The food was excellent as was the service. We were there on a Friday evening when they had some live entertainment. It was fine. Jazzy. But as our meal progressed, more large groups came in and the ambiance got louder. Next time we will try mid-week to compare. The ceilings are very high and there is nothing in the decor to absorb sound. So when it's loud, it is uncomfortably loud.

It reflects very poorly when you tell a customer not once, not twice but THREE TIMES, including over the phone, that you have a 2 hour reservation and you MUST be out by a certain time. By the third time, we had just sat down and it made me not even want to be there. The proportions are small, for the price, especially for such an unsubstantiated patio.

Giant baked potato was undercooked and tasted horrible. Plus it was smothered in what seemed like a whole tub of sour cream. Steak was mediocre at best. Definitely not the quality of a great juicy steak from the keg. Service was great but the overall experience was definitely not worth the price. I was shocked to learn you have to pay extra for your baked potato and other side dishes. I WILL NOT be going back to this place ever again.

MUST DINE HERE! TOP NOTCH SERVICE ! EXCEPTIONALLY ACCOMMODATING! and DELICIOUS menu choices!! 6 Stars I am not one to leave reviews often however, our experience tonight was over the moon. The outdoor patio is stunning! Unfortunately we chose to sit out there on a rather rainy evening and our booth got a bit washed out but boy did the service make up for it tenfold. Our server (I believe her name was grace) was excellent! She was informative, accommodating and so pleasant. We took her recommendations on what to order and she absolutely nailed it! The calamari was exceptional as well as the goat cheese spring rolls. She sold us all on the fish special and though we’re not the kind to all order the same dish ever, we did and we were all very pleased we did! Due to the heavy rain fall we had to cut our evening a bit shorter than planned however, Matt truly made up for it in the end. We can’t thank radius enough for taking care of us, we felt so loved and we are looking forward to going back again soon!!

My fiancé and I came here on date night to enjoy excellent seafood with cozy ambiance in a booth patio. From being greeted at the entrance until the end when we were checked on by the manager if everything was to our liking, service was top notch. Radius is a gem of a restaurant with a fresh menu and great wine and drink list to boot. Definitely in top ten for date nights Hamilton downtown for us. If you can do the patio before sunset.

Went to radius again yesterday for a bachelorette and was surprised to see that they had given the table a free bottle of prosecco!! We were very well taken care of and we couldnt have picked a better restaurant to celebrate my friends special occasion in! I had the calamari to start which is a radius menu staple if you are ever visiting. And I had the braised beef rib as my main. The beef was rich with flavour and did not even need a knife. The beef was paired perfectly with a pomme puree and the sauce that tied it all together. I would recommend the beef rib to any meat lover and it definitely had bang for its buck! I also had the G and Tea cocktail that was delicious unfortunately there was a bit too much ice for my liking and I feel as if it were in a smaller glass with less ice I might consider getting it again. Overall a great experience in one of my favourite hamilton restaurants of all time. Can't wait to visit again

The restaurant itself is nicely laid out and the staff are friendly. I was here for a work event and found it was a little pricey, but the food was delicious. The patio area is quite large and enjoyable on a summer day.

Excellent rotating seasonal food options; adheres to farm to table ethos successfully. Mix of cuisine styles from contemporary to west coast (seafood) to Indian. Very impressed and their ever changing cocktails all use fresh, vibrant premium spirits. Their old fashioned uses smoked maple syrup in lieu of simple syrup and it adds a charcoal smoke finish that is different from a typical pest flavour. It is an amazing cocktail and the others on the list also looked interesting and complex. Certainly a must try for local, modern cuisine to taste what Hamilton has to offer with the abundant farms nearby. Patio is gorgeous in a bright lively part of downtown.

Good food. Excellent service but the place is far too loud. The exposed brick walls and open concept have absolutely no acoustic dampening at all. The room is so “live” that when it was full I couldn’t hear the person across the table. Some work on the acoustics would make the experience much more enjoyable.

Comfortable and upscale, the service was very good but the food was not. French Onion soup had something added to it that didn't appeal. It's a classic and should be left alone. Also had their seafood cioppino and was very bland, no flavour. Loud mouthed guys seated in our area topped the evening off. Parking lot close by.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the downtown. Great food and lots of variety. The staff are exceptional and the atmosphere is classy and welcoming. The owner is very friendly and can often be found in the restaurant. I really enjoy the large outdoor patio with multiple levels. Great for dining or for work events or larger groups. Highly recommended!

I went out to dinner for my 3rd wedding anniversary. Had Connor as my server. He was great! Came to check up on us multiple times, was so kind and attentive. We got the tenderloin and the chicken. It came out super quick and was tasty as ever. Amazing - will come back for sure! Thank you Radius for a divine dining experience.

The service was prompt and friendly. The server had a good knowledge of the menu and wine selection as well. A favourite amongst foodies and wine lovers are the city. Update-we went for supper for a birthday using physical distancing measures at the restaurant and sat on the top tier of the patios. The servers were all wearing fabric masks. Their patios can still hold 77 people. Reservations are required. We were a table of 6. I tried to reserve on open table through their website but it would only allow me to book a table for two so I had to call and make the reservations on the phone. The girl took my information and I thought I was good for Friday. I called on Friday afternoon to confirm the number of people and they didn’t have the booking reserved. I said I made them a week ago and I have people coming from out of town and it’s in an hour and a half from now. She put me on hold and came back ans said it would be fine and we are good. That was a relief. We had a wonderful meal as usual. The service was fantastic and so was the meal! I would recommend this restaurant for a casual meal or a formal dinner. The restaurant is locked so you should only show up a couple of minutes early for your reservations as you will have to stand on the sidewalk to wait for them to bring you in and up to the patios. I ordered from UberEats for New Year’s Eve supper. They are no longer offering wine for delivery. I’m not sure why. The food was delicious.

Amazing food and service here. I've been here twice for brunch and tried the steak and eggs and the waffles. Waffles are amazing and a nice combination of salty and sweet with the home fries. Steak and eggs were disappointing a little as they were greasy and steak was a very low quality cut. Mimosas are awesome here and so are the samosas! Ambiance is lovely and feels very polished. Would reccomend for a friend!

Had high hopes for this place as they serve Canadian Oysters and the decore was spot on! Unfortunately the rest of the place wasn't. Very rude hostess quickly seated us only for us to wait 10 min for a server to come. We were about to leave but stayed for Nancy's wine tastings. Advice to owner, hire staff who shares the same passion as he does.

Have been here several times before. Very happy with how things have been since the new ownership took over. Went here on a date night with my wife. We don’t get out often so it was enjoyable. The ambiance and vibe are great as always. We ate on the patio this time around as the weather was prime for it. The food was fantastic. Ordered the filet tenderloin myself. Cook was perfect. Ordered it medium rare. Was very happy. My wife ordered the salmon and she was also very happy with it. Will go back again sometime soon.

Ordered the butter chicken, my boyfriend got the ribeye steak. The food was delicious and the waitress was very nice. 3 stars because after we were done eating, we had to wait 10 minutes before our waitress noticed and then asked if I wanted a take out container, another 10 mins to get the container (which she dropped off without a word), then another 10-15 mins for her to come back and then I could ask for the bill. Also 3 stars because my boyfriend's steak, which was over $60, he said the steak was very good, but it literally came with 2 tbsp of mashed potatoes, and half of one piece of broccoli. If that's the normal portion of the sides, then the entire meal should be on a smaller plate because his plate looked really empty. I wish I was exaggerating about the size of his sides, there was nothing there!

A group of about 8 of us came in one Friday night. We were all taken back by the restaurants ambience as we were whisked away to a large table in the upstairs dining area. Our server, although I cannot remember our name, was easily one of the best aspects of the evening. She was extremely tenured in terms of the menu, and would continuously be updating us on food and drink status. We did not even notice a delay on a few drinks, and yet she was very apologetic for what could have been a 5 minute difference. Our group was sharing appetizers and desserts the entire evening, and we ordered one of each dessert off the menu. Upon returning, she noticed that one of the four was maybe half eaten. None of us had a personal vendetta against the dessert, and yet she insisted on taking it off the bill since it was clear we didn't like it as much. If anything, yes it's on the pricier end of the spectrum, but the total package truly felt like it was worth it. Definitely returning to Radius!

The food here was absolutely amazing! It was so delicious. Although it is a bit pricey it was worth every penny. I would recommend the bread pudding for dessert! It was incredible. Service was friendly and the food is good. Booths on the patio are large so even with six we weren't crowded. Very accessible (no step entry and disabled facilities right off the patio). Parking is a hassle, though. The pay first machines in two nearby lots weren't working. Hard to relax when worried about getting a ticket.

The order board inside was flashing full of orders that still needed prepared and they were out of medium cups so I received a free upgrade to a large. If you get the right thing at Arby's, you can walk away happy. Just had the Smokehouse Brisket sandwich and it was pretty good. The price for the meal, which includes a small drink, is reasonable at $8. I would go back.

Went here on a Friday night with a girlfriend: - Service: 4/5 (they were busy so it took about 20 minutes for them to first acknowledge us- however the server made up for it by checking on us and giving us some great recommendations) - Food: 5/5: Ordered the oysters, Korean Kalbi ribs, Filet Mignon and the organic chicken panang curry. All the food was incredible and definitely worth the price. If you want a great meal, good service and awesome vibe- Radius is your place :)

Good location, avg food and poor service. Calamari and cod were good. Wings were dry and bland. Our server was not very attentive. It was my birthday and he forgot to bring out the cake. I would not recommend Radius for special occasions, however it's a decent place for an occasional lunch or dinner.

One of my favourite Hamilton restaurants. The atmosphere and decor are beautiful and unique and the food is spectacular. If anyone asks me where to eat in Hamilton, this is my first suggestion. I could go on about it but just assume it’s ???? Service ✅ Great service from the moment we walked in. Amazing customer experience Decor ✅ restaurant felt warm and inviting. Comfortable seating and lots of natural light from the windows. The burger was incredible! Lots of flavour and not sloppy at all. If it wasn’t for the fact that I would like to try more menu options, this would be my go to. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and also a great place to have lunch/dinner with clients. ???????? We will be back!!! ????

Made reservations for an early dinner on 7/21/2021. We recently moved to Hamilton and Radius was on our list of places to check out. Our food was good but the service was lacking. Bianca was slow to appear at the start of our service and completely disappeared by the end. When I say disappeared, I mean we never saw her again after we ordered our meal and another server had to check in on us and cash us out. We arrived at 4:15pm and left by 6:16pm so it wasn't a case of our server getting slammed, she just disappeared. The food was good but not outstanding for the price point and the service definitely made this a once and done experience for us.

We went for food with friends here and we liked the vibe a lot and our server was great but we found for the value for food was pretty crazy. For example we ordered sliders for $15 and when they showed up there was only 2 tiny burgers with nothing extravagant. We were shocked that they could charge $15 for those portions. We found the menu kind of limiting but we enjoyed the jerk chicken bowl we ordered.

Good atmosphere and good food but BEWARE of the Fixed Menu. Really overpriced for the quantity. Valentine’s Day appetizer was a few figs cut in half on goat cheese, immediately regretted choosing that option. I chose the salmon for the main which is $28 on the regular menu and the dessert was a SHARED waffle. Wow for a $65 fixed menu we felt absolutely robbed. The dessert should not have been shared at that price and they did not indicate it was shared on the website, it said ‘Valentine’s Day surprise’. Surprise we robbed you !

Ordered the electric eggs Benedict. Eggs were over cooked , not runny at all , yolk was solid , thick cut bacon was meh . Hollandaise was a meager portion, when paired with dry yolks I have to say it might be the worst Benedict I have ever had . Had lunch at Radius today with coworkers, enjoyed fabulous meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will return. Had a great Sunday brunch at Radius! The staff was very kind, pleasant and provided quick service. The restaurant itself has two seating rooms, both of which are very trendy and stylish. One of the areas is well lit by natural light with high ceilings and the other is more cosy with exposed brick walls and ornate light fixtures. Every seat is a good one! I had the chicken and waffles (for the first time) and was blown away. The waffles were light and fluffy and the chicken was crispy on the outside and tender within. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices on the brunch menu as it all looks phenomenal. I can't wait to have more meals here!

Enjoyed a beautiful night on the patio with great service. We did have a mishap with the steak. But everything was dealt with poise, patience and proficiency. The appetizers were fresh, tasty and flavorful.(We enjoyed the burrata and calamari). I definitely recommend the "Pain Killer" cocktail, it was absolutely delicious. [Gave me tropical vibes]. And was also recommended by the server! We finished off with some espressos and the cheesecake jar which was sweet and light! I will definitely be returning again and bringing some new friends!

Food was good, service was fine but we were charged for drinks that we never ordered and when confronting the manager he said there was nothing they could do and it happens all the time. Make sure you check your bills before paying. They took advantage that we had multiple people there that night and just threw it on the bill. I will not be going back there ever again simply because of this. Wouldn't even offer a gift card for the charged drinks we never got. Unbelievable.

This restaurant had been recommended by friends as an upscale restaurant. The last time we went was for a birthday dinner with some friends. To start, the server was not quick to come to our table for food orders and after ordering the food took way too long to come, others had already eaten and we were still waiting. This place couldn't even get wings mildly right. Inedible. The steak was flavourless, the presentation of the plate was severely unappetizing and to top it all off the waiter never even brought a streak knife. We were neglected for a while ever after we had finished. Extremely overpriced for what it is. The decor and atmosphere they have is great. But as of now, that's all they have going for them.

Menu is definitely on the pricy side, but well worth the money given the quality of locally sourced ingredients, and the love put into the cooking from the chef & kitchen staff. Great space and in a great location! Although, the food is not so great, it under delivers especially at the price it's at. It was disappointing because the steak was tiny and only came with 2 pieces of vegetable for $36 you had to order another side.. The gnocchi was good but needed salt, three of us ordered it and had to add it. The lamp was good but the rice was burnt, kind of crispy again nothing special. The food is too expensive for it to be mediocre.

Overall it was okay. Appetizers were great but the wait was super long and our mains felt like they had been sitting for a while. Worth a try if you're not in a rush or in for happy hour with a few drinks/snacks. The ambience was nice - cute patio space. Personally I don't think the servers were at fault, they did check in when they could. Could tell our server had been running around all night and she was still polite. Since COVID and reopening, a lot of restaurants have been struggling with staffing and it was apparent staff were lacking today.

Recently, we had a sailor’s lunch (Eight people) at radius. The chefs special that day was fried chicken which was fantastic. No one was disappointed;Our server, Grace was knowledgable explaining the wine list and the menu. Service was friendly without being intrusive. I had recommended this venue and it did not disappoint! The menu is both eclectic and locally sourced. The goat cheese spring rolls with red pepper jam were a hit. The onion soup is highly recommended… A meal in itself. We will certainly go back as a group and individually. Radius is my go to place in Hamilton. It is the a epitome of a great restaurant. Congrats to Chef Gordon and crew!

We Absolutely loved radius when they first opened. Then they went right down hill with a new chef and a menu change. We hadn't been back till this past Thursday. Well , the food has definitely improved. In that end they have redeemed themselves. A couple of complaints though. Despite the quality of the food the prices are outrageous and dont fit the menu. We had oysters and considering it was $1.50 a shuck night they didnt have the amount we wanted. (Apparently a delivery issue). I had a 6 oz tenderloin steak and it didnt come with anything but a few sticks of over roasted heirloom carrots and about a tsp of flavorless cauliflower puree. This steak alone was $32. Had the fried brussel sprouts with a charcoal cream sauce I couldn't quite identify. Then realized its babaganoush. Tastes like store bought. Now my husband had a 10 oz strip steak and it was $38 I think. Same carrot and cauliflower. His side of mushrooms was $10. Nicely cooked but needed some seasoning. Dont get me wrong it was a great steak and food was nice but dont think I'll return. There are many nice places in this city that aren't so overpriced with such tiny servings. So 2 beers one 5 oz wine a soda water and dinner was $157. And the service completely left something to be desired. I was sadly disappointed.

Hosted our annual XMAS company dinner at Radius this year. 43 people in total. The staff here were organized, responsive and attentive. The food was excellent including the canapés, soups/salads, mains and deserts. A couple of folks wanted their filet minion done a little more and chef said he would only do medium. Other than that everyone else said their food was delicious. Music was upbeat and got more vibrant as the night went on and the restaurant transitioned into a night club. Overall a great experience at Radius.

The food is very well made and it's based on seasonal produce, every item that we have tried on the menu was a home run... At night the place becomes more of a bar with live DJ. There are plenty of street parking spaces and the bar has its own parking space a few blocks down the street.

Radius has all the elements you want in a dining experience from the coat check to the dinner cheque, and everything in between. All offerings were divine including the Grand Board suggested by Chef Gordon, a perfect and shareable starter for the four of us. Too bad the Dillon’s Negroni wasn’t available in pitchers it was so popular at our table. The BC Halibut feature was perfectly prepared. Our server, Grace was attentive at all the right times. You would not have guessed that she was the least tenured of her peers, a nod to an establishment that keeps good people. Nice vibe, classy furnishings and even classier service. Recognition for Chef Gordon who seemingly gets the big picture by doing good things both at the restaurant as well as in the community, including the 2019 RBC Canadian Open.

I found Radius to be pretty hit and miss. Some stuff was absolutely delicious (for instance, the sweet potato gnocchi appetizer) but for the most part I was dissatisfied. The goat cheese egg rolls were bland and tasted more like ricotta than goat cheese. I didn't order it myself, but the charcuterie board was sizable and well received by those at my table who tried it. Our server rarely stopped to check in and refill drinks, and when she did she was aloof and somewhat rude. Overall, I didn't find the food or the service to match what you'd expect from a restaurant charging the prices that Radius does.

It's ok place. Definitely overpriced. Small portion. Salmon was too salty, VERY small and overcooked. Short ribs had good taste but tough. Calamari were really good. Beef tenderloin was well done instead of medium rare. Staff was friendly, helpful. Patio on main floor isn't cozy at all.

Started with the Goat Cheese Spring Rolls that came with a sweet red onion jam. This is one of the best things I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the salmon which was cooked nicely but she felt that the rice was a little bland. I got the filet medium rare but it was verging on medium well, bit it was still juicy and tasted great. I would have given it a 3 but those spring rolls notched it up to a 4. We went to Radius for my father- in- law's 87th birthday. We had booked the patio for them as they will only eat outside for fear of covid and their ages. We were ushered to a pub table with very tall chairs and placed under 2 very loud speakers. They struggled to get on the chairs and asked if they could turn down the speakers a little. The answer was no. I could see they were not comfortable on the hard chairs so I explained the problems to our server whose only solution was for them to eat inside which they would not do. They had a booth that was lower and had padded seats which would have been much better for them but the server said no as we were a group of 4 and they were for 6 people. They moved us to another high table a few more feet from the speakers. The booth sat empty the whole time we were there. The server had a really bad attitude from the get go. The food was very expensive for very average tasting pub food. We will not return. Update: a manager read my review and apparently wanted very badly to speak with me, I phoned back 7 times and could never get a hold of him and I guess he either just ignored the messages I left with other people or did not get them, either way seems par for the course for this poorly run establishment.

Others had oysters - a buck a shuck on Thursdays. Others had a steak, scallops with risotto. Overall I'd say the place is overpriced. Pretty good ambiance. Washrooms were excellent. A 5 oz glass of no name wine was 16 bucks. Our server was adequate. I'm not hard to please but I wasn't impressed with Radius. I might go back but only for a special occasion - not by choice.

Radius was incredible. The tables are candlelit and romantic. The atmosphere makes you feel at home and comfortable. Everyone who served our table had incredible service and we deeply appreciated it. The Chef Gordon came out and let us know about the food we were eating and he really is an amazing chef. The food and culture intertwined within the food was an experience I won’t forget! 10/10 would recommend! Grab a glass of wine & enjoy.

If a zero rating was possible I would give it. We arrived to no coat check on a very cold November evening and they proceeded to take away the chairs we were using to put our coats on. The staff did not care when we raised our concern. We did not stay after this and never plan on coming back. I understand that you are trying to switch from dinner service to a club, however better care must be taken. If you are unable to do this in a seamless manner, then do not try.

Came here for Brunch and the waitress did not explain the set Brunch menu as last time I came you are only charged for what you order. I only drank water as I am pregnant and couldn't have a drink and only ordered the Farmers Breakfast and no dessert. Was charged for a drink and dessert I did not order. Had this been explained we would have ordered just one for both as it was too much food and we left a lot of it. Will be going to Aberdeen Tavern instead as their menu is easy to navigate.

Went for a baby shower. I had the mushroom omelette. Cooked well, had a great flavour. The dessert was not good. I KNOW my fruit, this was prepackaged fruit from Wal-Mart. Definitely not fresh cut. Couple of servers were very nice, a couple seemed to be in an off mood. Located in a "Hip and trendy" area, but wouldn't visit by choice due to lack of parking.

The waitress didn't know the menu and couldn't answer any of our questions we had. After telling us about the specials, we ordered one of them. When it came, it was an appetizer, not a meal! My boyfriend left starving! She rarely came to the table to check on us and when she did, we ordered more wine. It took over 15 min to arrive at our table!

Thank you Radius! My family and I have missing dining out. So I googled restaurants in Hamilton doing take out. We ordered the beef tenderloin dinner for 4, truffle pasta and some desserts. Yum Yum. I took the time to set the table nicely and when we opened up mashed potatoes, beef jus, roasted veggies and the tenderloin we were very excited. This restaurant hosted a large group for a birthday celebration. We all found something that fit our dietary restrictions (vegan, halal, vegetarian) and they were so accommodating with my allergies. There was a long wait time so they unexpectedly comped our appetizers, which was so kind and totally unnecessary (we didn't notice that it was a long time)! The carbonara I had was stunning, and everyone else's food looked great too.

Beautiful decor and attentive staff. For drinks I had the Seafoam Swizzler and my friend had the Painkiller. Mine was so tasty! My friends was also good, it tasted like how a fall candle smells, if that makes sense. We ordered: Tlayudas - very lovely! Really hard to eat, however, I don't recommend it as a first date option as it's messy. Poutine - I didn't try it but my friend really enjoyed it Brussel sprouts - SO GOOD. The brown butter sauce was outstanding Truffle Mac and cheese - very tasty but not very cheesy. Goats cheese spring roll - yum! Basically like a whole brick of melty goats cheese. The onion jam was perfect on top Butter tart - really flaky and yummy. The ice cream was soooo creamy 10/10, will definitely be back

I made a reservation on JUNE 9th for Friday June 25th. The weather wasn't great, so I reached out the morning on June 25th and confirmed our res and asked for a spot under the awning. My guest and I proceeded to get ready and plan our evening, only to have a phone call approx 1 hour before our reservation saying it was being cancelled due to the patio closing/rain. We understood - but I also noticed you made a post on your IG that night advertising a promo on the patio after 10 PM... additionally, we then called at 10PM and asked if there was any availability and the person replied with \"Our patio is completely full\". As someone who dines often at your restaurant, this was extremely disappointing to see. I understand the covid restrictions completely, but please do not lie about being closed and contact me sooner on a res we waited 3 weeks for.. I also reached out directly to Raduis first, via the e-mail provided on their website... I never heard back Will not be making any more reservations with Radius.

Radius is definitely worth visiting. I've been there several times and it's almost always good. Cheap mimosas for brunch, which is fun, along with lots of different kinds of radlers which I believe they mix in house. I hear that their patio is awesome, though I've yet to visit it myself. I went there once years ago and was not terribly impressed with the food, but since then it's been consistently good.

I had heard a lot of recommendations for Radius through friends and social media but my visit left me unsatisfied. I went on a Sunday for brunch; party of three. We were seated fairly quickly and attended to for drinks. We took a few extra minutes to decide but ended up waiting forever for server to come back once we had. Drinks themselves were okay but one cocktail came out with a strawberry garnish that looked like it had seen much better days... presentation wasn't the best. The other seems to have been seasonal (a rum/lime/ginger beer cocktail) and was really good. After our drinks were served, there was another long wait for the food to come which seemed excessive considering the place wasn't too busy. The order: one Radius Breakfast, one Beet Salad with salmon, and one Radius Manor salad with chicken. The food was good but nothing noteworthy. Portion size for the salads (both large) was on the smaller side and seemed a little overpriced. There was a live musician singing some catchy numbers throughout which created a nice atmosphere. Overall, I felt my experience was lacking, however, the regular menu looks appealing enough that I would consider visiting again to try lunch or dinner and give it a second chance.

I find year over year the taste and food lever keeps going down and I find a lot of people fell the same about this. It’s weird because it’s a great environment and location. It was about 4 years ago it was great. Sad to see it like this, I know about 20 people who feel the same.

We hosted a bridal shower/bachelorette here and the staff were amazing getting back to us in the planning process but I want to RAVE about the service we received during the event! It was a party of 10 in the dining room and while they ensured things kept moving along we never felt rushed, we never lacked for anything, and our server made sure we had water and plate at all times while keeping tabs on our wine. We were able to come in 30mins early to set up the table and everyone was so accommodating and very aware of what was going on! I cannot stress enough that this was the absolute best service I’ve had for an event like this! Thank you so much! The food was amazing as well!

Although there were plenty of staff, service was inattentive. How come servers and hostesses mix drinks? Food was awful. Hummus serving was half of what would be expected. Grilled broccoli arrived before entrees. Entrees we’re hung up in the kitchen. Her grain bowl was soaked in an awful oil. My halibut and chips was good, although there was a small salad AND slaw on the side. Why? First and last visit…..

If I could give this place minus 10 stars I would. My girlfriend booked a pre set dinner for her birthday for 16 people 2 weeks in advance. I called the day before which was Friday Decemeber 17th, 2021 to confirm and they said everything was ready for tomorrow. We get there and the staff had no idea there was a set dinner for our group!!! The waiter was extremely awkward and kept bringing up covid restrictions and saying it's a "weird night". He also said the birthday girls dinner and dessert platter would be complimentary but it still showed up on the bill. Don't bother with this place.

Great upscale bar... my drink recommendation is Ladies Love Diamonds. Usually a DJ, sometimes dancing. A good alternative to the pubs of Augusta if you are looking for something fancier. Has dinner service as well, although I am not sure if it is late night, the food is 5 star.

Great ambiance. Food was good - although it lacked flavour. The spicy carrot and chickpea stew had no spice whatsoever, and lacked salt. However they were able to bring me hot sauce and salt so I was able to season it myself. Other than that, we had a great night! The service was great!

Everything here is awesome. The food is really good and the drinks are always on point. I believe everything they make is locally sourced so it's always fresh. Overall atmosphere is great too for dinner for 2 or groups. The patio is definitely worth going to in the summer.

I was going to give it a five - but upon thinking about it the prices of the food could be lowered. 32$ for risotto is a little expensive, as the quality could be improved. But the service was amazing (thanks Martha), she was friendly and wrote a little happy birthday jingle on my receipt. The duck poutine was incredible!!! The place is beautiful. Free dessert for my birthday.

The waitress was kind, friendly and helpful. This is usually my favourite place for brunch, however my experience was very different this time. The music was continuously loud despite numerous requests to turn it down. This probably contributed to two incorrect orders, which in turn resulted in quick deliveries and under cooked food. No longer my favourite place.

The salmon is good and was close to cooked per my request but the side garsishes were sparse as well. The final bill did not fit the portions.

I called into radius before booking on OpenTable. The server said there is indoor seating available as long as you put it in the comment/requests section of the reservation. So I did that and even called back with my reservation number to make sure that I had indoor seating reserved and hostess assured with me that I had indoor seating reserved. I drove from Toronto to Radius and when I got there the staff said that indoor seating is all booked and that it doesn’t matter if I put a request in the comment section of the reservation. They only had outdoor seating and it was way too cold that day so I ended leaving to find another restaurant. This is extremely frustrating experience considering there were two different lines of communication from Radius without any remorse. I wasted my time driving from Toronto and would have been fine if they just told me it is not possible to book indoor in the first place. To the radius staff working on September 19th, please be more considerate to these situations. There was no apology or any effort to find a solution. And to Radius in general, please train your staff on what your protocols are as they are misleading customers and risk losing them forever. Once again. Extremely frustrating experience with Radius.

Four of us went for dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a chicutery board that was very varied and tasty. Our entrees were very good. My steak was very well prepared, and the butter chicken was very good also. They had a pasta special that looked very good and the burger was thick, juicy. It went very quickly. There weren't many people in the restaurant because covid.

I’ve been here for brunch twice. We bring our 1 year old and the staff is very accommodating to a young child. It’s a nice atmosphere and the food is pretty good. I only give 4 stars because I find it a bit too expensive for brunch. My husband is a big fan of the potatoes, big crispy chunks.

We had our wedding reception at Radius, and it was a fantastic experience!! Monica was super helpful with planning, and our experience with all the staff there was very positive, everyone was so kind and friendly. The food was amazing! So many of our guests were commenting on how delicious it was. Everything went so well and smoothly, I couldn't be happier, they made planning my event so easy. I would definitely recommend Radius, as both a restaurant and event venue, they are awesome!!!
