I quite enjoy this place! I come here every week for their free comedy show! It's a real hoot! The current hosts Mayce Galoni and Jordan Scherer are two of Hamilton's funniest comics and put on a damn good show! Sure the two of them look like they e joy drinking warm milk, but their back and forth banter is reminiscent of the good old days of comic legends like Abbot and Costello or Monica and Rachel! Come for the show! Stay for the gender neutral bathroom!

Great little spot to stop for a break, have something to eat or just relax and spend some time with friends. Open concept, game area, comfortable sitting area to watch a movie on the flat screen. Staff is friendly and happy to help you with all your food/drink orders.

Great dive bar, popular with students, easily walkable to/from McMaster University. Trivia nights are fun and Saturday afternoon sports in the summer. Outdoor seating for the summer if you get there early enough to grab a table!

I've been here on a few weekday afternoons and always enjoy my time. There's typically a couple friendly regulars in, and a very friendly and helpful bartender. They have a rotating tap from Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. that is very good, and a couple regular (Barrelshed) taps as well. They also have boring beer if that's your thing. The food is pretty typical bar fare, but good portions and price. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable with a heated patio.

Lol. Asking for a proof of vaccination on September 2nd at a bar with a patio. What seems to be the case is the lady working was having a date with someone and didn’t want to bother herself with serving any clients. No wonder there isn’t a single customer there. Waste of time!

Been going here for years and it's exactly what you want from a neighborhood bar. Friendly staff, typical pub food for a fair price and great drink prices. Lots of TVs that show a variety of sports, plus free board games. A great place to grab drinks with friends and relax.

Fantastic hole in the wall that is not only a University pub, but a great venue! Their staff is some of the best ever! And they host a wide array of things like comedy, trivia, and karaoke nights, as well as being a part of the weekend club scene! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

This is a great bar near McMaster University with a fairly mixed crowd. Their service is great and the food is decent - their sweet potatoes fried are to die for! They host events (e.g. Karaoke Night) and have some board games that are free of charge (e.g. Scrabble, Jenga, Cards Against Humanity). Although the bar is slightly run down, it has a fun and comfortable atmosphere (mix of benches and high tables for seating). There is a small stage inside and seating available on the outside patio. The washrooms are a bit small (1 person only) and the food ends early on certain days (hours seem to depend on crowd volume - sometimes it is super busy with bouncers on site and sometimes it is pretty quite). Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want to have a chill night with friends at a bar.

Their trashers have 3oz and taste fruity and aren't expensive. But my fave is still the mozzarella sticks made in house. They don't compare to any others I've tried. Service is always quick and bartenders are witty
