Amazing ribs. My husband always eats large portions, and,he was not disappointed. The amount of food on his plate made him a happy man. Once I tasted his ribs, we had to go back the next day, so I could have them also. I ate the whole thing. I'm still in shock. Definitely the best ribs I have eaten.

Underwhelming. Never been to a Montana's so crummy. Steak was overdone, loaded baked potato had about 5 pieces of graded cheese and 1 piece of green onion and half tsp of bacon bits. The Pepsi was watery, the beef brisket had barely any meat, was overcooked and no sauce. We left hungry. Our family always enjoys Montana's but this was terrible. Not recommended. Also, they don't have tap! Get with the program guys!

We ordered for mothers day because were out of town and skip never showed up. After a fight with skip and the driver montanas was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT to deal with. The food was amazing. We decided to go to Montanas on Sat July 21 with our party of 20, very disappointing the food was not good,the waitress did not come by and ask us if we wanted any refills .The bathrooms were dirty no soap or paper towels we told our waitress 3 times about it and she did not do anything. We have went to Montanas before in St . Albert and had a good experience there so we all thought we would expect the same but no we did not.For the price and service we paid for I would not recommend anyone going to the restaurant. VERY DISAPPOINTED

My newly wed wife and I ordered the big beef rib and were very happy with it: marinated and seasoned well, good quality meat, cooked just right, and a good sized portion. The fellow who took our take out order was warm and polite. In the midst of the time of heavy restrictions, it was a good experience over all. God bless!

We have been going to Montana’s for years and have never had a bad experience until now. We arrived, were seated and given menus but, we waited a while before anyone asked us what we wanted for drinks. This should have been a sign but I dismissed it as being busy! We ordered a water, a kids milk, a coke and two colors light! The water came right away along with the the coke but my nine year old got zero milk and the beers sat on the bar for so long that the foam came down and the cups were no longer full. The bartender felt the right way to handle this was pouring beer from one cup to another and then refill the one. At this point I asked the waitress where my daughters milk was and finally received it but she still didn’t bring the beer till after that. When the beers were delivered we were told by our waitress she would be right back to take the order by this point we had already waited over a half hour to order. We finally ordered and then the wait began again! We waited so long other tables that had come after us received their food before us and one table that arrived at the same time as us even finished before us. My 9 year old was hungry and when food finally came once again after I asked about it, it arrived in intervals and my husbands steak was overdone but we didn’t dare say anything for fear it would take another hour to get a new one! All in all it was the worst service I have ever received! I have a food blog but refused to take photos or share anything on my page as I had nothing nice to say! Sadly this is the first ever bad review I have written and I hope I never have to do it again as I usually like giving Good feed back! I won’t be back to this location and let me add it wasn’t that busy so there was no excuse!

Usually so good but service tonight was awful. No check in from the server after our food was brought out. I had spinach dip and my pita chips were really oily- like they were taken straight out of the deep frier and onto my plate. Wasn't asked for drink refills, plates weren't taken away when we were finished. We were left to just sit at the table for a long time. Very disappointed. Usually so great.

Staff was quick and responsive, food came out tasting great and hot! The only thing that was disappointing was portion size. We stepped out of our comfort zones and decided against the usual burgers tonight at Montana’s and we got the Chicken Burrito Bowl and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The bowl had less then a 1/4 cup chicken, and was served on a plate. Bowls are usually filling but hubby felt underwhelmed when it came to being full. My fried chicken breast was barely 3” x 3” and the bowl of mashed potato’s was 2x the size of the chicken. It was disappointing because it tasted wonderful! But I didn’t expect to spend $17 on mashed potato’s with a side of chicken… the staff and service was great. And we will return for burgers. But just really disappointing to have such small portions on the other meals.

It was the first hours of getting back to dine in. The restaurant and the staff were ready to welcome dinners. We ordered the wings and ribs combo with Chipotle sauce and with apple butter. The meat was tender and delicious. Everything taste great! The staff was lovely and kind. Too bad we don't live closer. Will definitely come back when I'll be around!

stopped in Saturday night, April 27, 2019 around 5 p.m. Hubby & I ordered the AAA sirloin steak, with mashed potatoes, gravy on the side, dusted onion rings, coleslaw and 2 skillets of sauteed mushrooms. Looked great, tasted great but by 9:30 that night hubby had the worst case of diarrhea that kept him on the toilet for most of the night and I got hit with it at about 2 in the morning. I couldn't finish all of my meal so we took it to go. Got home and gave it to our dog, who promptly threw it right back up. NEVER eating at Montana's again.The star is for the service provided by a very nice server.

Mediocre food at top dollar prices, everything was served luke warm for the side dishes, flat pop, and the pulled pork sandwich my wife had was soggy on the heel and served with a side ceaser salad full of stalk, not leaf. My 7 oz. Sirloin was cooked properly but was the toughest piece of shoe leather I've had in the city. The potato skins were on a hot plate but the food itself wasn't hot or fresh tasting. Our server was nice, prompt and apologized for the wait on our drinks and food but overall the same poor service and food quality you can expect in most places to eat in Grande Prairie....lame.

Disappointing to say the least. Went this evening and had issues with the ribs we were served. One set was amazing, fall off the bone good. The other was very tough, couldn’t cut through and barely any meat. They ended up giving us a new rack but the rest of us were done eating by the time it came. It was a mistake on the kitchen part for allowing that to be sent to the table. My kids ordered pizza and one with French fries. The kitchen dumped the French fries on top of the pizza so all the cheese stuck to the fries. Could this not have been put on the side? It destroyed her pizza seeing as it’s a cheese pizza and now there was nothing left on it after removing the fries. I had ordered a Pepsi which was spilled before it got to the table. I ended up choosing to order something else but yet was charged for the Pepsi. My hubby noticed it after the payment went through and mentioned it to the server. She felt bad and started getting her tip money out to refund us as she said the only person who could do it is the owner and they weren’t there. We were incredibly embarrassed with her doing this in front of others but honestly just horrible etiquette. No customer wants to take a servers tips!!! Prior to ordering we were told anything ordered that comes with corn bread we would not get as the corn bread was sold out. They didn’t replace it with anything yet it’s part of the meal you pay for. The owner of this franchise really needs to step things up. There should have been a substitute offered. On top of that the server didn’t offer ketchup or other condiments usually offered when your food is delivered. We asked for extra wipes for eating ribs which were never given. Mostly little things but it all adds up. Our server asked us if we wanted to leave our number for the owner to contact to refund the Pepsi after we declined her tip money but come on we aren’t going to come back for that. The point is someone should always be on staff that is able to refund when mistakes are made. Shouldn’t be left to the poor server to give her tip money but she also should have checked the bill before delivering it to us.

My husband & I went to Montana's in Grande Prairie. No wait, food was nice & hot. Everything was great. I paid with debit, my husband gave the waitress $15 cash instead of with the bill. I accidentally gave her the tip again with the debit. Allaine corrected the amount. Whrn we started to leave, Allaine came over to us & explained the tip went through with the debit. Came over to bring our cash back. I was so impressed with her honesty, we told to keep it. I hope Montana's appreciates such an honesty employee. We did.

I was very disappointed in the quality of food. It tasted old and or out of date. I only ordered nachos. There was no cheese to speak of on it. When I brought my dissatisfaction the waiter, he said his supervisor apologized and offered me half off. My partners meal was not any better as his steak was tough and food was warm only..... this was not brought to the attention of the waiter however.

Service was bad. Food wasn't any better. After standing at the entrance of an empty restaurant for ten minutes we tried to seat ourselves only to be told to wait. After we finally got a table it took another twenty minutes to get a drink and place our order. Food took about half an hour to get to us and was hardly even warm. Due to the fact that the restaurant was empty I would expect better service than that. Probably won't be going back.

Typical Montana fair , you have the ribs and what not. I opted for the fajitas this day and the food was hot and fresh. This time of year the place was basically empty although it was middle of the day. Regardless you simply can’t beat a cold beer with that sort of scenery.

The waitress was definitely run off of her feet. Once we finally got seated, we watched two customers turn around and leave because she couldn't get to them in time while trying to run the floor. The food was alright, nothing really special. Definitely need to shake off a couple more cobwebs from being closed for so long.

Great food as usual. The service is usually on par-but watch out for the male bartender. He was our server for the night(for food-no alcohol was ordered) and was so unprofessional. He never refilled our water and never stopped by until it was time to pay. We had CAA membership for discount and also wanted to redeem Scene points. He had difficulty doing so and took our phone from out table to “get the card number” which he wrote down already. To top the night off when we went to pay the remainder owing he wanted total control of the debit machine and kept asking for our payment card. We asked to insert instead of him tapping. He got mad, threw the machine on the table and walked away. We noticed he had tried to enter his own tip into the machine without our knowledge. Very unprofessional in my opinion. How many others has he possibly scammed out of money.

Went in for the first time to a restaurant since Covid happened in the middle of March. We had a great time, there was some minor hiccups and the manager and staff looked after us amazingly because of it. The ribs are particularly good, as is the shrimp appetizer and you have to try the mini doughnut dessert!

Loved it! I tried to order for pickup in their app but it said that there were no times available. No problem.. Called the restaurant and a very pleasant woman took my order. I was quite pleased to hear that it would be ready in 15 minutes! Upon arrival I could see that they were taking the Covid restrictions very seriously which really made me feel at ease. I was immediately greeted and my food was brought out right away. So impressed. Well done Montana's team! I'll be back :-)

Really not impressed... Manager was arrogant and not helpful. We ordered and were told they were out of their striploin, then magically they had it.. They were not able to serve me different beverages.. Coolers, cosmopolitan... Forgot part of our order, steak was cooked beautifully by the way.. The service and the food was great! We went in early for supper to avoid the line ups. One of us had a delicious burger and the other had ribs. Unfortunately there was an error on the ribs. They were supposed to be gluten free for an allergy, and were not. When this was pointed out to them it was immediately corrected by the waitress with apologies from her and the manager who came by several times & who also insisted there be no charge for the rib meal due to their error. We were happy to have paid for the proper order but they removed it 100% from the bill. We would go there again but next time would just be extra sure that the meal is as intended before starting to eat. We are impressed that they took their error so seriously and went to such lengths to correct it. :)

Last Sunday. I visited there for family meeting with my mother in law. We did order two steaks and ribs. All dishes was overcooked. Most of all, steak were almost burnt even though I ordered as well done. I complained to server but manager came and explained that it is alright because of well done steak. Her explanation was that was burnt as well done and suggested 50% discount. Absolutely well done means not the burnt steak. I never get this kind of explain from the restaurant ever. I would want to get the right dish only , not the discount! I had been lived in east south of USA for 10 years so went this restaurant for get my old memories. But all was messed due to her service. I won’t come back this restaurant again. I felt she really need to know about the steak and lose the customer,me and others around me.

The manager Sammy was also a great help as what we wanted wasn't on the menu anymore due to promotion changes. But we he made sure that we were satisfied! 4 of us drove here from Vancouver for all you can eat ribs. PHONED AHEAD to check it was happening. Arrived to find they HAVE RIBS but were no longer doing all you can eat, as they "didn't prep enough ribs". We have frequented this location for 9 years and finally met April, the general manager of 10 years and ended up having a terse and belligerent conversation. I must say she showed the most professional indifference I have ever seen. April said "I can't" to something that we had offered all this time and when asked to confirm with a staff member who has served us for many years she exclaimed "he's just a server who has no say". It was a very odd position to entrench oneself in. Other servers seemed nice, not sure why she wasn’t friendly at all, especially in these times where business’ need the support. Food was okay.. nothing great and smaller sized portions for your money. I’d probably go to McDonald’s across the street before I go here again sadly.

It's the first time I tried a Montana's in a small tourism town outside of major urban areas and I was not disappointed. Food quality was definitely up to chainwide standards and staff just as well trained and friendly. Unfortunately kitchen staff was not as efficient and food took almost half an hour to arrive despite the restaurant being almost empty; otherwise a higher rating would have been warranted

We arrived at Montana's in Banff at approximately 7:00pm tonight. The girls that greeted us were great and seated us promptly in the lounge. We decided on our order, both drinks and food but we were never served. The bartender looked up a couple of times and a server walked by a couple of times without so much as a glance our way. Then she disappeared. We waited 20-25 minutes and then we left. Horrible service!

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner tonight. The service was good and quick. The ribs were amazing. We asked for an apple crisp to take home. Fine and dandy. Well we get home and I opened up my dessert and it was maybe 3 bites big, and there was little pieces of ribs sitting on top. Almost looked like someone's leftovers. Did not eat it and wont be ordering dessert there again unless I eat it there.

We had concern about the portion of their food, so we called the manager. But don't try to complaint because the manager talks too loud that everyone will hear her and knows that you are complaining. She is not friendly at all.. As if you are complaining because you are after the discount, because she keeps on saying I can give you discount, I can give discount. Didn't even go into details on why the portion is too small.. when she speaks it felt like she is yelling at you and it was your fault.. never coming there again.. Mr. Mike's Restaurant has the better service...

The dinner selection is always decent, but their entrees are underrated! My wife and I almost always order 2 entrees and sometimes skip on dinner. They are so good and you get a ton for the price. It's a great spot for a happy hour, love the nachos one will be enough for two!

I don’t often review chain restaurants, etc. HOWEVER, this particular location deserves credit and adulation. I haven’t dined at a Montana’s in years, probably at least four or five. This was due to back-to-back major concerns with terrible service and incorrectly cooked food (undercooked appetizers, overcooked steak, etc.). My wife and I were running errands last night and needed to go to specialty store nearby. We stopped at this location by default. We were hungry and needed a quick meal. Our expectations were non-existent. With that said, our meal was fabulous. The service was top-notch, the management was diligent, and our food was cooked well. Overall, it was a great experience and a pleasant surprise. We will be back. Great work!

Hour wait.. nobody taking down names with lots of people waiting.. reservations taking up a considerable amount of the restaurant.. out of ribs, milk, bacon, the beer we wanted, and likely lots of other things at 7pm.. "backlogged kitchen".. nowhere to sit even if you do wait.. would rather watch dozens of people walk out of the restaurant than serve them. Fireplaces with no fire, heat vents with no heat.

Went in for the first time to a restaurant since Covid happened in the middle of March. We had a great time, there was some minor hiccups and the manager and staff looked after us amazingly because of it. The ribs are particularly good, as is the shrimp appetizer and you have to try the mini doughnut dessert! Thank you everyone for having a great attitude while working with masks on and all the other Covid things I know it’s not easy but you did a great job! Shout out to James running the kitchen for hooking us up with dessert!

Great place for a family to eat out eith their kids. It can be expensive, but doesn't have to be if you know how to budget a restaurant visit (ie. Order the $15 meal instead of the $30.one). Also great if you want to treat yourself and order something more expensive. Had the ribs and shrimp combo, and it was fantastic. Kids all loved their $8 meals.

had dinner there tonite - was to be a birthday celebration for two 11 year olds - first off we told 3 people we had a reservation which no one seemed to know about finally got seated and it took forever for service . We finally got our order in and waited and waited and waited - finally the two boys got there meals but the adults waited at least another half hour for our food Not sure why we couldn’t eat together We were there a total of almost 2.5 hours for which most of our time was spent waiting - Will not go back nor will the other 7 people at my table and we are locals so we won’t be recommending Montana’s either

She told me she would hold it for my family of 5. I told her thank you very much and I would be there in 10 mins at 5:30 is when I called and I showed up at 5:40. Experience didn't start well. Nobody to greet or seat us at the door We had wonder into the dining room before being greeted. Food was passable. One issue with the food was that one member of our party ordered a starter Caesar salad for $6 and it came on an 8 inch plate but another member ordered a house salad for the same price and got 1/3 as much on a side plate. Service was a major issue. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive after ordering and it all came out at different times. We would also ask for drink refills which didn't come until after reminding the server. All in all we spent 2 hours at the restaurant and were told they were short staffed only after we received the bill rather then being advised that beforehand.

Nice place and staff, I can tell you the wings are so good because I am a wings lover. I wish they could be a bit more spicy but that's ok, they are really crisp, not dry and lots of sauce, thanks for that. I loved the fact that there's paper on the table so my kids could draw on it and they were given crayons, which is good. The BBQ is fine and delicious. The place it's a but pricy but you are paying what you get so I'm happy with that. The dish that I got could easily be for 2 people.

Disappointing. It took 20 minutes to get seated. They're short staffed, and seems like they'll hire anyone. It took more than 45 minutes to receive our food. Once we did get it. It was just disappointing. The chicken in my Southern a chicken sandwich was burnt, see pictures. I had to remind the waiting staff I was missing the chipotle sauce for my sweet potato fries. 2 of my friends ordered the ribs that were advertised as "fall off the bone" when they were very dry and my it took some knife effort to get the ribs off.

Basic chain restaurant food, inexperienced waitress. Asked for a medium rare steak and received a fully cooked one, by the time the waitress came back around to check on our meals my table was almost done and I had given up and started eating the steak, so complaining was useless. I'm giving it a three just because I expected it to be like this anyway and I enjoyed drawing on the table. If you're into places with sub par food that sings happy birthday to tables then this is the place for you. Too many great local places to bother coming back

I went here last night with my gf after we looked at the deals on the web site. Be aware, 2 apps for 10 is a lie and a joke. Not valid on half the apps and the ones that aren’t excluded are half size, so really, no deal at all. I spent a lot of money the night before at this restaurant so when I got a huge bill the next day for what I thought was a sale on the apps I was not impressed. That being sad, when the manager came over she handled the situation very well. And and fixed the bill. I don’t believe I should have to dig through fine print when I see a daily special. It upsets customers, and makes it more difficult for the servers and managers of these restaurants to do their job. Great service and kitchen at this location. Poor marketing from head office leaving the people on the front line to deal with the mess.

Wow, the Montana's in Jasper is amazing. The food is somehow better than any other Montana's I have been to. The staff there are super friendly. Will go there over a lot of other local restaurants that have, sadly, disappointed us in Jasper. Their beers come in like crazy huge sizes and their fries are so delicious. Oh, and definitely get the beef rib. It's a delicious Brontosaurus/Flintstones experience!

Worst service I have ever had, they all acted like they were going crazy. Took about 10 minutes to even get acknowledged. We asked for rootbeer they never had any. My son wanted the kids pizza, wasnt an option. We ordered our food, pretty basic things and an appetizer. She never came to refill our drinks once I had to ask for a refull. No bi deal 15 minutes later still no drink. It was a paralyzer . We got our food still no drink my husband never got one as well needed a refill. Nevee got our appetizer asked she said she forgot to order. Still no drink... i asked and she said she forgot. I ordered a dteak and couldnt even cutthrough it and my shrimp weere burnt and cold. I do not recommend going here.. tbere areway better restaurants rhere dont waate your time here. I keber got an apology or can I make something better for you. Nothing!!! .

If I could give this a zero star I would. Waited over an hour for our food and when it finally came out it was cold! Waiter came out once 2 minutes into eating our coleslaw, no refills, son didn't even get to have his free dessert because NOONE came to service us! I was there last night and I watched your staff refuse to allow a group of about 10 indigenous people sit together at one big table. You made them sit apart at two tables. But Within a half an hour a larger group of white people came in and heaven and earth was moved to put them all at o e table. I also watched your wait staff be rude and abrupt with these poor folks, and even saw them refuse REFUSE to all one person to put their whole tab on one credit card. I was SHOCKED. And embarrassed.

Ok let’s state the facts! The waffle chicken sandwich tasted good! The fries horrible they had so much oil on them if I squealed then I am such I could possibly fill a cup! Now as far as the chicken well cooked the salad was wimpy at best and also the tomato slice! The bacon not crispy enough for me and the waffle burnt on one side both the top and the bottom waffles So based on this outcome I would not recommend this dish to anyone! Regards,

We had a great time celebrating a birthday at this Montana’s. The waitress that we had was super friendly and checked on us frequently. The food was good and the washrooms were also very clean. Lots of free parking too. There was eight of us there for dinner and everyone really enjoyed their meal & also had dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Sitting in the Jasper outlet as I type. The heat is not working and it is freezing cold! The gas fireplace is not on. When I asked why not I was told they tried yesterday but couldn't get it to work. The hands down best service possible! The server (I believe her name was Jackie) was incredibly friendly and pulled the strings to make a sandwich that was removed from the menu but was a favourite of mine for my birthday!!!

The paper tablecloths and casual decor give you a feeling that you can spend some worry free time eating instead of worrying if you dirty the table.

We have gone to Montanas in Edmonton and Red Deer and had great hot served food , ribs especially with great service. Jasper's Montanas was a monumental disappointment. Spinach dip was warm not hot, ribs were dry and luke warm. Got our uneaten dinner to go so we could put more sauce on and get to tender stage when we get home. Defeated the dine out experience. We ate at the Caribou in Valemount last night and it was "Excellent" food , temp and service. For a hot spot in Jasper the mark was off sorry , not on our return. Hope you can up your game when things get busier this spring/ summer 2021 March 13.

No host/hostess at door and no sign saying wait to be seated either. Tried ordering a beer and they were out of the kind Originally wanted. On too the food we tried ordering a 7oz steak and no longer had that and I had to order a 10oz. The steak was suppose to be medium-rare and came out medium-well or more or less well done, was dry and tough no pink. The sampler platter ordered which was missing a cut of meat we were informed of this and got 1 extra rib for it, but there’s a create or own pulled pork “sandwich” which only came with a half piece of bread where at every other Montana’s we have been too has had 2 pieces or a bun to actually create a sandwich. Over all disappointed. Talked to the manager he was very nice and friendly only made us pay for a 7oz steak and helped us substitute something in for the missing items. The waitress was very friendly and caring. People are wonderful that work there just the food was very disappointing .

The staff were nice. My boyfriend really enjoyed his steak & it looked like it was cooked exactly how he likes it. The coleslaw that came with his meal was super bland. I did not think the pulled pork sandwich was as good. The pork was dry & didn’t really have much flavour and there was minimal bbq sauce on the actual meat. I’ll end by saying the donuts were amazing! We got them with cinnamon & it came with a delicious caramel sauce.

Our local Montana's is only allowing 10 inside diners right now so you give your name and phone number and they call you when they have a table ready for you. We only waited 20 minutes. Food was great, service was great and everything was clean and tables spaced accordingly.

Every wednesday Montanas does offer all you can eat pork ribs for $29.99. It does include the ribs as well as fries / potatoes, Cole Slaw and a piece of cake. You will start with a 9 bone rib and receive 3 / 4-bone-pieces afterwards. The restaurant was pretty crowded, so that we received a place directly at the bar counter. Staff was friendly and attentive, so that we never had to wait long for the next round.

It should only be half a star. What a huge disappointment. We haven't been to Montana's since before the pandemic. I remember that even though it was always crowded, we had excellent service and piping hot delicious food. Well - I ordered a 7 oz steak - medium. It certainly didn't taste BBQ'd . The glazed onion and mushrooms on top were slimy and cold. The colesalw - just a very small plop was dry and tasteless. We ordered a caesar salad expecting it to come before the entree. Well, it came during. It was limp, dry and no trace of an anchovy dressing. No complaints about the servers and staff.

Second time being here and unfortunately not impressed. The service was pretty good and the atmospher is good. But the food isn't anything special. The first time i came i got the pulled pork sandwich and waited forever to get it, by the time it got to me it was cold. And now today, got the brisket grilled cheese sandwich and yet again it was cold, and the meat was flavourless and tough to eat. Asked to get it warmed up and it came back extremely hot like someone put it in the microwave on high, the bread was falling apart and the meat was everywhere it looked like someone through my sandwich back together in a rush. Definitely wont be coming back.

Beans came in a tiny container no actual beans in it just the juice. Don't ask for extra mayo they literally dump the mayo on the burger which the waiter thought was funny that they "really went to town on the mayo" it was a mayo massacre which caused a super wet bun.felt bad for our waiter that was running around over worked and we didn't really talk to her even paid by someone else. We never got our drinks we ordered either. We didn't eat our food. After 1.5 hours I just wanted to get out of here and never go back again! I don't think they deserve even one star!

I don't get to eat out much so I was really looking forward to a nice lunch with my husband this afternoon. I wanted to order chicken wings but I had a very hard time finding them then when I did they were under starters...apparently 8 little wings feeds 2 people. So instead out of the 3 menus that were basically thrown on the table i found fish and chips...pretty easy. So i get my coffee 1st...coffee grinds and tasted burnt. Then not even 5 minutes the meals were there. My husband's looked much better. I went to eat my fish and it wasn't cooked .i had cut a couple of piesces off tried the 1st and it was full of uncooked batter. The other side was overdone. So I send it back. Waitress just took the piece of fish???? Aftet I had eaten a piece and used my fork to look underneath. She brings it back to me....I was stunned!!! She brought the same piece of fish back to me. I guess they somehow stuck it back in deep fryer with the gaping hole in it and served it back to me. By this time....I basically had the few fries eaten...the majority were ends of potatoes and not tasting like fries. But honestly....how unsanitary is that??? They stuck a piece of food that had already been touched thoroughly by a customer back into the grease that they cook everyones food in. I couldn't believe it. So when said waitress brought it back to me i handed her my coleslaw and tartar sauce and said forget it. I'll just have the fries ...the manager came over. She apologized and agreed that was a wrong approach. I should've got a brand new meal. So I do not recommend this place. It's gone down a lot. Its not very clean. The tables still had salt under there big sheets of paper so table not wiped properly. In the end obviously I wasn't paying for something i didn't receive but they charged me 2.50 for my coffee and all my husband's food. So for one lunch today which i didn't really eat we still ended up paying $23.00 I couldn't believe they charged me for the coffee eith the coffee grinds...what a joke. Very poor quality and restitution for all the inconvenience should've been 100% free for wrecking our lunch. I'm one pissed off never returning customer.

Nope. Was not impressed. I have worked as a waitress among other jobs. They were indeed short staffed in the back but they we disorganized beyond belief in the front. Waited 1.5 hours for my food. And the chicken was raw. Not exaggerating. I thought maybe just a really bad day for our waitress. Messed up our one order so bad. But we met several others with same issues. Missed items, wrong items, beer or drinks coming AFTER the meal was already done and eaten. Manager was kind enough to take off my raw chicken, and the extra charge for the item we didn’t order. They need to get organized. So much potential. But need a better system to work as a team and like clockwork.

Update: The management reached out to me and I came in for The Steak Fest, and was so pleased! Thank you to the entire Staff and restoring my faith even though the food wasn't the issue to begin with. Montanas a forever go to for amazing food! Food was great. But service definitely wasn't. Felt rushed and tbh this is the second interaction with this waitress and I was disappointed because both times simple things such as cutlery were forgotten and then just feeling like we in a fast food joint.The ribs were amazing though so hats off to the kitchen!

The place was moderately busy, but the servers seemed to be busier than they were. I'm not judging the service so much as the food and drinks. Everything was incredibly pricey and not that amazing. It's also really hard to eat here as a vegetarian (I know it's a steakhouse!). I would probably pick a different place to go if I was going out for drinks or meeting up. Their tables were also not incredibly intuitive to big groups. They still do the birthday song though which is really cool. 3 stars because it's very average.

I've been to 3 different Montana's in 3 different cities (Hamilton, Burlington, Orillia), and have had 3 seperate poor experiences. Each time I have gotten food it has taken 45 minutes minimum from ordering time to receive it, order steaks medium rare they are medium-well, high medium at best; baked potato was still raw in some spots. Only redeeming factor at this Orillia Montana's was that our server was very friendly and attentive, otherwise the entire experience was very underhwelming.

So where should I start. Coming in, the "greeter" was more of a scarecrow. Not the fact that it was a bulky man with tattoos, but the fact that we were harshly asked if we had our vaccination cards. We did a rapid test, some of us had forgotten them in the van. With impatient motives, he was rude to us. There's more, but no use writing about it. We have been to Montana's a few times since it opened and have found it is getting worse as time goes on .Saturday night we went fo supper and ordered appetizers before our meal the wings were at best room temperature the spinach dip was dry and when we got out meals i didn't think i ordered off a kids menu because i got a very few fries with my chicken strips. Everyone else ordered ribs which were good but thankfully we brought our own napkins because apparently you don't have any extras.Overall a less than positive experience

I got the kids grilled cheese with sweet potato fries; since I'm not a huge eater. And not only were both cold but they were soggy. I threw out the fries. The service is usually not very great but tonight everything was terrible. It took far too long to get a drink. The ribs tasted like they’ve been left on the counter all day. The gravy was cold. It looked like the cap fell off the seasoning shaker when they seasoned the chicken bites there was just too much. I can understand if someone orders 8 appetizers and wants to take them all home but if someone just wants to take their leftovers of one or two home make sure you tell them before they order that they either need to leave them or pay full price. I’ve never complained about terrible food or service before but I couldn’t hold back. It’s never been a great place to eat but now I’m certain it’s terrible. I will not suggest this to anyone

Pieced an order online at 2:30 pm for 5:30pn pick up. We showed up at 5:15 pm. They were 10 mins late getting them to the car. Bought the big boy combo. Figured good spend of a Christmas gift card. Didn't come with a pound of fries as advertised, Figured no biggie Ill move on. The wings were half sauced. Kinda bummed but meh lots of other stuff. Everything else was great until we get to the ribs. These were the driest ribs I've ever had.. So dry I needed to add my own sauce along side the stuff they already had slathered on. Still didn't help. Perhaps if they didn't overcook them it would of been ready right at 5:30. Had I of known about the quality of the main reason why I ordered I would of spent my money elsewhere. Likely won't be back. First time tried this specific location. Meh. Nothing worth coming back for. They are sending out a gift certificate. They made it right

Steak was ordered medium rare it came blue rare sent it back to be cooked came back rare and very salty hard to chew. Bad service. The bill $69 waiter left debit machine to do it myself Geez so bad! Never going back. I don't recommend the steak gross!

All you can eat ribs!!! Delicious ribs, will definitely go with house bbq ribs. We tried all 4 kinds of ribs, but house bbq ribs won. Excellent customer service. Good to see the COVID 19 regulations in effect. The tables were sticky, looks like it’s due to the cleaner they use. The place was clean and had good ambience. Nice decor. We noticed that only first set of ribs were amazing. The refill ribs tasted stale, and not juicy. First set of ribs tasted first quality and refills were second quality meat. Hopefully it’s not just me, someone else might have noticed the same.

We were at this location on Sunday 2 adults 1 6 yrs old, a 5 yrs old and a 1 yrs old baby. We were refused coz we were more then 4 ppl. And they are only allowed 4 per table. I don't know since a 1 year old baby was counted as a while person or we would be not have children under 2 flying for free. We were there to celebrate our 5yrs Olds bday after being in lockdown for a year. Rude staff with no consideration.

Omg!! Second time eating there and I have no complains ???????? The manager made sure I was aware of everything that had a possibility to touch shellfish and with our waitress (Riley) and the manager, they helped me picking food that were good for me. I have to say, this is the best service I have ever had! I definitely recommend you to go eat there ????????????
