I was here on Halloween and was bit on my neck as well as followed around the bar/ smoking area and not one security guard or employee noticed, another patron stepped in before a madhatters employee. I will never return. Really scary atmosphere for young women. Also weird dance floor, very strange layout.

Fantastic food and service! We went for applys and drinks and we loved the experience. Once entering the restaurant we found quick table service, and easy to chat with servers. T We had the salad rolls and sweet potato fries, both of which where very good. The dill dip for the fries was wonderful, and brought the dish together. We will be returning!

The experience was good. Communication was poor. I was there for a special event and was a early purchases of my tickets. They did not make me aware I could reserve tables. I was lucky enough to have me and my wife sit with anothercouple we had just met that night. But there were over a dozen others that did not have seating at a table and were left to stand on the side lines for the event. The food was good and prices right for the quality and quantity.

Went for wings after work with a few co-workers on wednesday and I was surprised at how big the wings were. Something like 18 dollars for unlimited wings by the pound and even got to take some for work. Our waitress was awesome even with how noisy and busy it was. My buddy was saying that all their food was locally sourced too which just adds a significant boost to business ethically and taste wise. Highly recommend checking this place out. Only down side was parking but there was street parking as well as a lot you can go to in the back 2 buildings away

We love coming to Maddhatter’s. The service is always great, it’s clean and comfortable, the food is always amazing. We finally tried the Madd Bacon and it was so good! Can never go wrong with deep fried pickles… Their mushroom soup is my absolute favourite, I’ll admit it’s even better than my own home made! I love that they use so many local ingredients too. Give them a try if you haven’t already!

Bartender Logan was and is always super friendly. Good is always hot, drinks are always cold. If you’re unsure about something they’ll let you sample it. Thier food is locally sourced, chicken wings come from local Hutterite colonies, the beef is specially selected by the owner and his chefs themselves (not even kidding!!) they actually go pick a few cows for the year. Very highly recommend. Very ethically sourced food and damn good appies 50%. Off on mon-fri after 9 including well liquor. Cheers guys :)

Hands down the best restaurant in Grande Prairie: the Unbelieva-Bowl with Tofu is my favourite, but look to the MFC for a chicken sandwich that would put Popeye's out of business. Juicy, perfectly battered and crispy, delicately seasoned, and served with bacon and real cheddar cheese. And a solid lineup of craft beers and appropriate wines.

I've been there twice for lunch and absolutely love it! Servers are amazingly sweet, attentive, polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Our non alcoholic drinks are refilled constantly like the tap is right at our table! The first time I went I ordered the bison burger and my companion had the clubhouse. We shared our meal. Clubhouse was amazing but we found the bison to be a dried out, scorched hockey puck. We never bothered to mention to the waitress at the time as it looked like we had already eaten most of it. (We hadn't) but we did mention it as we were leaving. The second time I ordered the bacon cheese burger and my companions had the MFC (chicken burger) and clubhouse with a side of scalloped potatoes. The burger was a little on the dry side but much much better than the bison. The MFC chicken burger was tender and just the right amount of spice! This has a nice bite so don't get if you don't like heat. The clubhouse was another hit and the scalloped potatoes were AMAZING! I'd eat just that if it was a full meal on its own! Over all I really enjoy this place for lunch. Your food comes fairly quickly and the staff are amazing. I'm not a fan of their burgers as they seem dried out (overcooked?) But the others I have tasted are great! I will go again when I'm in town and COVID allows!

Maddhatters is one of my favourite places to eat, I am never disappointed! The beef dip tasted great! Meat was tender and the sauce very flavourful, the aus jus was nearly perfect too, not to salty but still flavourful. The steak however was bland, not any flavor to it other than the taste of char. Onions on top were not fully sautéed and very potent. The mushrooms on the steak were over cooked. The side of veggies were undercooked and bland. As well as the scalloped potatoes were very bland. I could only taste a bit of cheddar added in. All in all, I don't see myself returning to madhatters.

I only ate here once, so this review only reflects a small visit. They have local craft beer; I tried their IPA, and it was great. Their wings were probably the best wings I've ever had. We had them battered, and we tried most of thier sauces, and every flavour was a treat. TBH, the wings were cooked perfectly. Their Nachos were great and came in a large portion, which was excellent for sharing. I also tried the calamari rings, which were lighty battered to perfection. The presentation of each plate was clean and minimalistic (in a good way). The service was quick and simple. The wait staff were nice and positive. I look forward to coming back again.

Rich's Adventures in Grande PrairieLand and Through the Drinking Glass. I was here for happy hour and I was not disappointed. Highballs are $4 as well as appetizers and sandwiches a couple dollars off until 6:30. The MFC is delicious and definitely worth a try. What does MFC stand for? I have no idea! It is a breaded chicken sandwich with cheese/bacon that tastes like heaven so my guess is Mighty Fine Chicken. If I was Samuel L. Jackson it would probably be Motha F*#@ing Chicken. If this was one of his edited for t.v movies, it might be the Monday to Friday Chicken or even the Monkey Fighting Chicken. The possibilities are endless, similar to if you named your restaurant after neurological symptoms of mercury poisoning from making felt hats. You would be crazy as a Mad Hatter to not give this place a try at least once.

Maddhatters is a frequent stop for lunch with customers. Enjoy the service and I find the menu to Be very creative with lots of locally sourced product. Also attended a dinner that was a catered buffet event at Maddhatters, I was one of the best buffets I had in many years. Highly recommend.

However a very drunk customer accused her of taking a photo of his card, which she didn’t. Instead of the manager sticking up for her employee,, she was fired by her manager with not a second thought. Very displeased with this showing of poor management. Have no intentions of returning to support this poor treatment of a fantastic staff.

Really enjoyed cocktails on their patio and an early dinner this evening. The food is delicious, the service prompt, friendly and the prices reasonable. Highly recommend their signature drink, "We are all Madd here," and also the braised bison. In our party, three of four of us ordered it, and we all loved how tender it was. Our fourth ordered an appetizer... the deep fried pickles. He was delighted.

We asked for one bite appetizers with vegetarian options to be served throughout the afternoon and evening.They exceeded all expectations and the staff was both courteous and professional with our guests. Casey the GM was incredible to work with and so accommodating to all our requests. Dayna the chef got rave reviews on all the appetizer options and of course the drinks were flowing. We just had our company Christmas party in the Back 80 on Saturday. It was amazing. Possibly the best catered meal I have ever eaten. Another thing that stuck out was the individual service as the serving staff worked the room making sure we all had everything we needed and were enjoying our meals. Drink service was as good. Portions were a bit small.. my dates appi and chicken were way over salted. So she didn't have the greatest time. I had a burger it was awesome would go back for it but like I said portions are small and even worse on the fries. Beer selection isn't great but my date liked the cocktails. Overall 2.5 stars rounded to 3 cause of google

Loved the new look and feel of the place. I was excited to see vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. We were greeted and felt very comfortable! I got the 'Unbelieve-a-bowl' and it was really spicy, but oh so yummy and fresh! My friend got the 'Bison Burger' and he said it was really delicious.

Excellent food! Most draught beer on tap is from the gp brewing Co. This can be a problem if you don't like their beer, but they do have a happy hour from 3 till 7 where the pints are only 2.75 so you can try all of the draught beer for cheap. They also have lots of great dueling piano events

I have got to say these guys customer service has totally went above and beyond my expectations! I had a surprise party booked here a month in advance for the reason that for the most part the service has been awesome, food is beyond great, and it is a fun atmosphere! Well something happened and the reservation was missed. The store has apologized several times, offered a complimentary dinner and some gift cards. WOW beyond blown away! Way to treat your customers like friends and family! 5 star here!

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. 3 seems a little unfair and 4 seems too many. Food was good, not great and very overpriced. Drinks were not good. I ordered their holiday mule drink which sounded delicious and it just tasted overly sweet and was not even fizzy from the ginger beer. Happy I went to check it out as we've been wanting to try this popular spot but probably won't be back unless someone specifically invites us there. I was also disappointed by the very few vegetarian options... need more diversity on their menu.

Food tasty however portion size for price not comparable to other establishments. DJ needs to focus on getting people on the floor to dance and forget about switching into next song every 45 seconds. Ridiculous DJ on Fri & Sat not worth listening to him. Sad that this the norm.

I really wish we'd been here in the all you can eat prime rib days. The service was awesome this time around and the drinks cold and refreshing. The prime rib itself leaves something to be desired. It had virtually no seasoning and instead comes with what tasted like a Guinness inspired sauce that completely overpowers what should be one of the best beef tasting experiences. I recommend that you get the sauce on the side and to the restaurant: try a salt crust. The sides saved the meal with perfectly paired and cooked vegetables and an excellent Caesar salad. KUDOS! Nowhere near the worst meal I've had and I will be back.

Best place to eat in Grande prairie amazing drinks and good service. They value their customers alot. They have a great night scene for dancing and some really good djs. They are always welcoming and friendly. This will always be my favorite place in town to eat.
