Delicious food. I had yam fries as an appetizer and the potato crusted cod bowl as the entrée. Fries were very crispy and taste absolutely fantastic. The entrée was phenomenal. Fish was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent.

Went in for lunch this afternoon with a friend. We were greeted immediately at the door and had a seat at the bar right away. I had the hickory burger. It was cooked perfectly and the gravy for my fries was amazing! I will definitely be going back. 5 stars all around!!

This place is pretty alright. Honestly, imo, it is average. There is nothing really special here. The food was what you would expect it to be. The location is perfect for any airport layovers.

Really love this place, great food and great atmosphere. They keep changing the menu and upping the prices over the last two years. I find the prices are just pushing it now to almost too much when before they were reasonable, with that I find it's not as crowded now or long wait lines for a table. Great staff, usually very quick on serving good drinks and food. They will still make you things on the old menu that are no longer listed in the new menu (seared tuna steak for example) Lots of TV's with different sports on. The establishment is set up for socializing (the seating, the lowered bar so you're eye level with staff) and I find a great place to go solo or with a crowd. Love the bathrooms.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. Line ups occur usually at lunch hour. Wait times are 10 - 20 minutes. The food is well worth waiting for. The portions are a good healthy size and the menu offers many meal options to suit most tastes. The decor is Publican and the wait staff are friendly and very helpful. The bar serves Artisan cocktails as well as high balls. The wine selection is sparse but the choices are midline and good quality. The beer selection is pretty generic but they offer house micro-brews that are well worth trying. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Ate here a few months back and it was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. Food was good. We had a problem with the calamari, the server apologised and comped that dish. Then the manager came over, apologised again and explained the issue then said he would be giving us our drinks for free in addition to the calamari. Seriously impressed with the customer service in this joint.

Normally the food is quite good here and I am a repeat customer. However when i dinned here on Sunday I was quite disappointed in the food i was served. I was served old wilted green and expired tomatoes in my salad that was 7.25 as a side. Plus my chicken was drowning in sauce, it was just saucy to finish. The service was good and my waitress was friendly, but the food was not. I was upset that i had to pay for it.

Browns. Purveyors of fresh quality food. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu offerings. Servers are sharp, and professional. Bar service is great if you are in for a quick meal. There is something for everyone on the menu. Recommend the #28 Dragon bowl! Washrooms are clean, and accessible which make it wheelchair friendly. Parking is free out front, and there is room for anyone pulling an RV. This is a great stop close to the Alaska hyw. If you're getting tired of electric forks, give Browns a try! Thanks Browns.

Didn't notice a sign saying "please wait to be seated", and looks like every other lounge in town. We sat ourselves, when the waitress came she acted like we did something crazy, like I haven't been seating myself at various lounges all over for past 17 years... Anyway that was minor. My main gripe is VALUE. I believe the menu price for the chicken sandwich I order was around $17, which it is definitely not worth, but it comparable in price to some other lounges. For the sandwich,fries and a pop was $25... I didn't order anything extra... The food was fine, nothing special, the service was ok other than being annoying initially about where we sat, the place felt pretty run of the mill and kind of expensive for plain Jane food. Not very big menu. On that note, the menus are this cheap looking laminated paper ... Like from the cafe where I grew up in rural Saskatchewan. Actually the fries and gravy were pretty good. Can't see myself going back. Maybe if I had a gift card I would but it felt a little more expensive for a totally generic place. Felt like a slightly worse Boston pizza.

Enjoy Browns, not a fan of their steak. My wife's steak came in medium rare, inserted of the medium well she asked for. A $30 steak came with hash browns and grilled vegetables, and the steak itself was very lightly flavored. The grilled vegetables we good, but hash browns with that price? Not worth it. We will go again, but stick with their bowls or burgers which we've usually enjoyed for much less.

I love Brown's, and have an expectation for their food and service. Dining through their Saskatchewan and Alberta locations, the Grande Prairie location met, and exceeded. The food is expensive and the portions are small. The food was good had the plates been 2-3 dollars less. The appetizer ordered was very small and 12 dollars. If the quality was superb it could make up for the price but the quality is above average at best.

Our first time here and it was a very positive experience. The lunch time crowd had finished so it was not very busy when we arrived ( six of us ) for a 2 pm meal. We got lots of attention from the hostess and servers as a result. The meals were fabulous. Southwest rice bowl..kale salad..fettucini...fish and chips and a burger and fries. Not one of us was displeased. The price was reasonable also. We highly recommend and we will return.

When we called to make reservations for 9 people, we were told they don't take reservations, and that a safe time to come would be 5:00. When we got there, the place was packed and we were told the wait would be at least 45 minutes. We couldn't wait that long in the freezing cold, so went elsewhere

I was stuck in GP without a car so I had to trek through the snow for about 1 mile to get to Brown's. The Sunday brunch was definitely worth it. The hash was excellent but the lack of an espresso machine meant the coffee was only filter, and a bit meh. The freshly squeezed orange juice made up for it a bit, but the coffee lost this one a star.

Many places start up in Grande Prairie with great service and quality food only to slowly recede , Browns has not only managed to avoid receding they actually get better!

Went a bit early on a Saturday night because we had a toddler in tow. The place wasn’t too busy which was nice. We were seated and asked about drinks immediately. Given a booster seat for my daughter and a straw with her water. Staff was very friendly and checked on us often, gave us more time to look at the menu. I had asked for my meal to be made gluten free and was appreciative that they asked if it was an allergy or just preference, what my risk tolerance was with cross contamination was etc. I am not celiac but I wouldn’t say it is preference either. I have other health issues that are better managed when I eat gluten free. ANYWAYS ... cross contamination isn’t a huge issue for me so I said it was okay. I was just happy that they asked. Food came in a decent amount of time and was absolutely delicious! I had the spicy crispy chicken burger with fries. My husband and daughter shared the fish and chips and he had a separate plate of salt & pepper dry ribs. The only downfall is NO KIDS MENU! We don’t mind, we don’t expect every restaurant to have one and we usually don’t like the boring options anyways. But it’s good to let others know. Waitresses refilled our water during our entire visit. When we left we must have been told to have a good evening by 4 different people. Washrooms were clean. Facility looked good. The food was great and the service was on point. If we lived here we would definitely be back! We have one in our city and hope they can live up to the standard of the one in GP haha! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I save that rating for my “best meals of all time.” This didn’t quite make it but I would recommend Brown’s nonetheless.

Came here last night with my family for father’s day as we were passing through GP. Normally I don’t write reviews, but the staff at this location were very accommodating and the food was excellent! Special thanks to our waitress for going above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect (we loved the princess Leia hair too), and kudos to whoever was pouring Guinness- the shamrock was cool.

The Waite was about 30 minutes which wasn't bad for a Saturday night at 6:30. We will definitely be back. There are lots of things on the menu we want to try.

Going to the Grande Prairie's Brown's is always such a pleasant experience. Their staff are great, and we always get the most exceptional service.
