We ordered shrimp bang bang, however never received it. My daughter's noodles tasted burnt she said. I never got a chance to get hot chili peppers in my noodles, none were at counter to put in myself cause of covid. So we gave a nonimal tip to our waitress. Usually we have a much better experience. We dined early to get parking. My daughter and wife love this place, I don't care much for noodles and when i went and ordered steak, both service and never got my steak. And I'm french. Not language issue. Wife speaks 3 languages.

Great food....Very very slow food service. We got served our drinks upon arrival but then it took another hour and a half to order our food. I guess they make their money on the booze so they wait a long time to take your order. Two hours passed until we got to eat.

Great food, great service. Everyone had a different type of food and all enjoyed (and that includes 3 kids). Steak was tasty and tender, pizza was delicious, hamburger was the best my son had ever eaten, daughter loved the pasta bar and hubby loved his fajitas. I highly recommend.

Sorry I can't give any more stars. The waitresses were all very rude. Wanted to see my ID and my friends because they were 17. All I wanted was a little snack and watch the hockey. Didn't even want the bar but they acted like the bar was the only place to go. Continued to be very rude throughout the meal. Very good food tho otherwise and the place seemed nice enough. Left a bad taste though.

What to say... Awesome experience... Staff was kind and prompt to assist us. After a sweet bike ride their menu had all the expected bar fair plus some highlights, the Big Ambroise burger was pretty terrific. Beer was fresh and at the right temp.

This is the main restaurant of Le Gouverneur hotel in Trois-Rivières. Lunch wasn't busy at all - in fact the place looked closed.Very good traditional French cuisine. The chef's menus are an excellent value. Very comfortable seating and noise level. Excellent house wines. Professional and courteous service. A very good value

Ok food Service is unbelievably slow. Do not eat here unless you have at least two hours for a meal. Doesn't matter how many people are in the restaurant - every meal takes at least 2 hrs But you can get takeout in 20 minutes or less even when they're really busy.

Food was good. Not great, just you're average fare. The only real negative was that we told the server our 4yr old had a dairy allergy, and asked if the kids chicken nugget batter had milk in it. Her answer: "I don't know"... Ok, so I had to ask her to check with the kitchen to make sure. I imagine they're boxed nuggets and prob had "may contain milk". Fair enough, we order her the basic burger. Well, the food comes and the burger bun is obviously flat top grilled with butter. So I snag another server to ask if she knows if they used butter on the buns. Turns out theres milk in the buns themselves... Its not like we weren't explicit that our toddler had an ALLERGY. So she ate a burger patty and fries. It's not a bad place, but it's hard to give it a great rating when the service makes you feel like you're a bit of a nuisance. Buyer beware, be proactive if you're dealing with any kind of allergy.

La nourriture était bonne, mais le service était pas génial ( j'ai demandé de l'eau 3 fois et nous avons demandé a garder le pichet d'eau, il en restait à peine, à la place de le remplir et de revenir avec un plein, elle a déposé le pichet sur la table et elle est partie, il en restait juste pour un verre). Le restaurant à l'intérieur était TRÈS BRUYANT! Vraiment désagréable, n'y allez pas pour relaxer. C'est un restaurant style familiale et décontractée. C'est parfait pour les familles (je compare l'ambiance à St-Hubert.) De plus, le pub s'appelle st-ambroises et ils ne vendent pas de bière st-ambroises, c'est un peu poche. Je pensais qu'il se rattraperait avec le vin, mais non. J'ai pris un verre de vin rouge de Pinot noir = pas très bon... Vraiment décevant. Ne parlons pas des minuscules salle de bain! Elle s'ouvrent à l'envers et il y a à peine d'espace, faut l'ouvrir par le haut de la porte, c'est pas vraiment bien. Le seul point positif c'est la nourriture.
