Not surprisingly, Sobeys offers a full range of grocery items. However, Sobeys in Glace Bay has the MOST efficient checkout system of any store I've been in. Go to Glace Bay and see how well Sobeys does this. My favourite grocery store of any brand.

I shop at Sobeys Wednesday's without fail and must say I really enjoy the short trip each week. Lots of variety, shelves are stocked with what you need and there's some great deals too. ..In addition, shopping earns you Airmiles Rewards Miles which can help if you need an extra few bucks when you cash in ten or twenty dollars worth off the grocery order every so often.

I dont normally go to Sobeys, but I went to get some veggie trays at superstore and they had none. I went to Sobeys and they had a pile of different sized platters, bonus they were on sale. I didnt have to wait in line and the cashier was very nice

Best Sobeys I have been to so far. Much bigger than Sydney. It was very clean and I really liked how they had the check outs set up because of Covid. I'm inclined to drive all the way to Glace Bay just to shop here. There's plenty of space. They seemed to have this store all figured out compared to the long lines and closeness of the Sobeys in Sydney.

Typically enjoy shopping here. Not always as much selection as bigger stores such as Sydney but I find it easier to find things here. Seems like the layout is better organized. Only complaints I would have is that flyer items are often sold out very quickly and the few times I decided to get rain checks it took so long that it wasn't really worth the time in the end. It also seems like they don't usually have enough registers open. Aside from those minor complaints which are pretty universal as far as grocery stores go, I usually have a good experience here and the staff is always friendly.

What can you say about Sobeys really? It is a staple in Nova Scotia and if you want fresh vegetables, it is one of the only places to go. Other stores are good but Sobeys always seems to have the freshest vegetables. Love their buy one get one free events and shop there frequently. This store is normally clean and workers seem to care about the store and cashier are almost always friendly and willing to chat. Great store overall.
