Not much in Glace Bay to give any comments about, but the Main Event has the coldest ice I've ever had. That ice was so cold that it was frozen when they took it out of the chest to put it in the glass and poured a drink over it. Yes, eventually the ice did melt -and it upset me, because I was looking forward to keeping it for years to come - as a souvenir of Glace Bay, because there is nothing else to consider keeping from Glace Bay. The ice was cold, but it melted, so I am giving 3 stars where there could have been 5. Maybe in the future if I ever go back to Glace Bay, I will be able to pick up some ice which I can bring back home and keep on the shelf for years to come and everybody can look at and cherish in awe.

We ordered a steak like usual and it was so disgusting neither of us could bare to eat it. It was nothing but grizzle and when my wife called to tell them the guy on the phone didn't seem to give a sh#t. We never went back since.

First time there in many years, food was great, I had 1 of the burgers and I took half home for later, cooking time was on par. Seems to be the place for regular customers tho. When I was there I saw people walk right in, pick up a table and move that table to where they wanted.

Absolutely terrible place to eat. I ordered the fish and chips over the phone and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. When I showed up they charged me for the food then told me it would be an additional 15-20 minutes before its ready because they went on break and I can't get a refund because the food is already being cooked.

Nice new renovations but cramped with tables and chairs, a real fire hazard as one would be jammed into their space. Slow service and they should have debit machines brought to tables to pay.

Worst service I’ve ever received from ANYWHERE. First encounter was horrible (rude and unprofessional)...almost cancelled my order simply because I didn’t want to give them undeserved business. Anyways fast forward an hour and a half...finally received our $70 order. Pizza COLD and toppings messed up..okay let that slide not a big deal. Both panzerottis burnt to a crisp, cracked right open pouring out grease (not edible in the slightest), so we call to ask for new ones. They said yes as long as we send the old ones back (which we agree to obviously..still weird though) BUT then proceed to call us back to imply we were lying, claiming there’s no way they could have been burnt although we have photos. They then say they are out of panzerottis and that we’ll have to come by to get a refund. I wish I was kidding but I’m unfortunately not. ZERO stars from me!!! This is my first ever review, and it sucks to have to give such a bad one.

Best steak around. The staff are great, and once they get to know you, they will remember your drinks and just bring them to you as soon as you sit down. I go here every Friday for dinner, and usually a couple of times a week. Been going here all my life, the Reno they did last year are awesome.
