My first time there did not disappoint. A wonderful afternoon spent outside in the sun on the picnic tables listening to live music and drinking all the delicious cider! The friendly staff are amazing.. I'll be back!

This has been on my list for a while but due to covid I wasn't able to make it. We love our cider and try our best to support local so after an opportunity came up to go to North Sydney I knew I had to make the detour! Service was Amazing, Ben was our host, he was polite and made us feel welcomed from the beginning, answered all of our questions, explained all the on tap flavors and set us up with a tester flight. He came back to see how we were doing and honestly talking to him was like talking to an old friend. At the end of our visit he helped us get the boxes out to the car and wished us a safe travel. They care about their coustomers! The building itself is in a great spot. Right off the DT waterfront, walking distance from most of the waterfront hotels, parking avaliable and a clean walkway into the building. Beautiful bright open space with lots of seating as soon as you walk in through, I love how they brighten it up with a photo wall showcasing their baby all around the local area. Washrooms and main area are probably clean enough to eat off the floors. To say it is well kept would be downplaying it. Leaving the best for last is the cider itself, we actually had a chance to try everything on tap and were pleasantly surprised with everything we tasted. Our favorite was the strawberry vanilla, my husband favored the flagship "good company" and I just loved the rebal rose. Really impressed that even their "sweet" cider was really not too sweet but at the same time not extremely dry. Even their dry goes down extremely smooth. Next year I hope to get down before they sell out of their seasonal since the spice was just delicious! Needless to say they have a place in my heart and fridge from now on! Cant wait to see them again! Definitely worth a detour!

Amazing service, felt like royalty everytime I go. The servers really know their stuff too. I just LOVE the atmosphere. You could have a party there or sip a cider and read your fave book. It's just so cool. 5/5 stars, will go again, many, many times :D

Must stop whenever you happen to be in Sydney Nova Scotia. Top notch ciders made with local NS apples, pears, strawberries and honey. The server Ben is the definition of hospitality and is a asset to this amazing spot!!! Go and enjoy next time you are in Sydney NS.

Went for the trivia night; great staff. Extremely friendly. Little too noisy for my liking but that was just due to the crowd. Very beautiful spot. Only negative experiance was there was nothing to drink for myself being the designated driver except water

Cidery in downtown Sydney. It's on a one one street, a little hard to find, but worth it. I visit every time I am in town. Cider on tap, available for tasting flights. Funky interior, large patio. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. No food service, however you are welcomed to order takeout and have it delivered.

Best place to find local cider in Cape Breton. Owners and crew are super nice and helpful. You might find food trucks parked outside to go with your cider sensation. They also have a outdoor patio with lights for you to enjoy summer evenings. Calm and quite place to unwind and enjoy a sip while in Sydney. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent cider, the Rebel Rosé is my favourite. They have many seasonal varieties in the summer, all of which are quirky but delicious. You can find their product at this location but also many of the pubs and restaurants around town. Great people running this new Cape Breton business in Sydney’s Historic North End, locals are embracing it, and I’m sure tourists (especially cruise passengers) will too when the time comes for their return! It will be awesome if/when a taproom is added!

Island Folk Cider has become one of my favourite things! I tried most flavors but I always come back to Rose in the hot pink can. I am more of a wine drinker and I find this delicious cider is really lovely. This is my second time having it delivered to my home. So convenient!
