Very friendly service. Food was adequate, with good portions (can only comment on fish & chips and fish cakes). Commercial beers on tap, with selection of Breton Brewery beers in cans. Most restaurants in Sydney seem to close around 9PM at the latest, so this pub is very practical for late arrivals.

When I stay in Sydney, I make it a point to eat here. Love the atmosphere. Food is great and the beer is refreshing. Also, Michael always seems to be working there when I show up -- a most memorable chap who always sets the mood for the evening. Always a pleasure.

Good meal with large portions but the difference is Michael the waiter. He managed to make myself and likely every other customer feel totally taken care of, very engaging, wonderful service that couldnt be better. Top notch.

The waiter was fabulous and the food was excelllent, battered fish was the best outside of UK and the ginger cake - to die for! The eating area was a little chilly though, had to keep my jacket on but then we were in the middle of that storm! Highly recommend eating there, definitely go there again next time I'm up in Sydney.

Really friendly staff, great service. Would be nice if they had a beverage menu. A bit pricy and I disagree with the portions being enough. However, there food is not bad by any means, and their dessert is beyond amazing. Disappointed in their nachos . Noodle bowl is the best.

Food was excellent, my wife had the salmon and said it was the best meal she has had there, and the service was top notch as well. Good social distancing procedures in place too.

Ordered room service. When it arrived the food was cold. I tasted each item on the Munichie Platter for Two ($21). All tasted disgusting and as if it was microwaved; not deep fried as advertised. When I called down to change my order as this was ridiculous. They asked, what I'd like as a replacement. I replied the 6oz Centre Cut Striplion ($18) as it was cheaper than my original meal. She replied well you've already paid for it and tasted the meal so we cannot exchange it for something else. (Why ask what I'd like to replace it with if you'll refuse) I replied don't you have to taste something in order to validate whether you like it or not. On top of that the food was cold. She advised me she was going to "talk to the kitchen". When she returned she said sorry the Striploin is an expensive item. They refused to exchange; they did not give an option for a cheaper meal replacement. This has been the worst experience. Now I'm forced to find another restaurant in the area.
