Visited Fredericton and stopped in for supper. Was really looking forward to poutine. I didn't realize I had to ask if they used real cheese curds, as I assumed that was what you would get. Very disappointed when it came with shredded mozzarella and was lukewarm. Ate a small bit and won't order again. Suggest that they let customers know it's not cheese curds on the menu to avoid disappointment.

Always a great pitstop with some of my favourite Journey Fitness Studio friends after an evening VXN dance workout! The Sour Cherry Blaster craft beer, brewed on-site, is a delicious summer bevvie, and the food is always on point. Thanks to the serving team for being awesome, and for indulging my weird requests (hot tip: if you haven't tried a Northsider poutine with onion rings instead of fries, you haven't yet lived!).

Food is pretty good, prices are average for the city. Staff has generally been warm, spare this Friday when the host told our group it'd be 45 minutes, some of us went for a stroll for 20, came back and found out they'd given away the table because they couldn't find us (Four of us were literally standing right out front.) Writing that off as a one-off, mostly because guessing about table waits isn't easy, but the tone was the real concern (Very demeaning.)

Went Friday and had Kat as our server! There was a wait at the door but the food was definitely worth it! Great service, definitely coming back. I had their Big Crunch chicken burger and it was amazing. 10/10

13 of us went here for a special occasion. I ordered a Ceasar to drink and said please not spicy. Got the drink, it was so spicy i couldn't drink it, so I ordered another drink and told the waitress that it was way too spicy. I can't handle spicy drinks or food. I ordered the Mussels, which I use to always love there, I hadn't been there in about a year. The Garlic cream sauce was so thin it was like it was made from 2% milk and water. Faint hint of garlic and absolutely no salt or flavour. I added a ton of salt and that still didn't help. I totally didn't expect to be billed for the drink I couldn't drink, but sure enough, there it was on my bill! I won't be back.

Rustic yet sophisticated decor. Felt very homey and the protocols for COVID19 were well thought out and executed. Friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered a small meal of chicken side salad and everything was fresh and flavorful. Friend had Mozza Burger and Sweet Potato Fries and was really pleased with everything. It was quick and hot. The prices were really good too compared to similar restaurants in the area. Definitely will visit this place again!

As someone who comes from fishing town and who will send seafood back if its not cooked properly, saying that the mussels were cooked properly is a high compliment. Not only can you get a pound of mussels for $5 , they are not, I repeat they are NOT overcooked and rubbery and the white wine sauce is amazing. Mussel mondays are to die for, Mama's is one of the most underrated pubs in Fredericton.

I really like this place and eat out here as much as anywhere as it is a bit of a tradition with a certain circle of friends. I particularly like wing night as you can get away with a belly full of delicious wings and a couple of beer fairly cheap. I took one star away because their craft beer is not so good relative to others in the city, and they really push it to the detriment of having any other interesting kinds of beer (and they discontinued their generous thundermug of draught format to further limit alternatives to their own brew).

They have their own line of beers with some good options. They always ask if you'd like a sample when ordering one. The Great White is a delicious choice. I only every go for the wings, which are quite good. Wings are priced by the wing not by the pound and last time a few were very undersized but it's the first time that's happened. Wing night on Wednesday and Friday. As someone who judges a good hot sauce as holding some heat but still having a balance with flavor, I would recommend there 'hot' sauce (which is third hottest at Mama's).

All the staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. Best wings in town, no question about it. Caesar's are also spot-on if you enjoy Caesar's. Highly recommend this establishment. Great for date night or taking the family out.

Been here a few times now and have been impressed. Their wings are always good. Had their fish and chips recently and the fish was excellent. Lightly battered, crispy with lots of fish. They also craft their own brew. Several selections hitting all the different varieties from stouts to sours. Definately worth a try.

A view of their microbrewery where they make beer for the establishment along with multiple other craft beers on the menu. Be sure to try out the nachos and if nachos aren't your thing you need to try out there Maple Jack Burger. Definitely a go to restaurant when you're looking for good food

we went out tonight to go out for drinks at somewhere we had never been before & despite living in fredericton for awhile (our whole lives) we had never been to mama's. we were asked by a kind man whether we wanted to sit inside or outside & we looked at each other & nodded in agreement "inside" because the humidity was so harsh & unbearable we couldn't fathom sitting in our own sweat for a moment longer. to our aid came the sweet & everlasting air-conditioning of mama's. after sitting down at a high-table we were given the menus & shortly after, were greeted by our waitress for the evening, sarah. this is where heaven ended & hell began. i'm just kidding. sarah was a great waitress (maybe the best? but i don't feel comfortable saying that because she's the only waitress that has ever served us here. we've only been here once. it was this time.) & honestly, this was one of the best nights out we've had in awhile. sincerely, alexander ❤️ rinor

Relaxed venue with a great selection of good burgers, a friendly and casual atmosphere, a modest pub food menu and fast friendly service. Plenty of seating and a wide range of menu options. Note website menu (and printed menu!) are out of date for the craft beer selection. The beer selection includes some craft beers brewed by Mamas but they are frankly just not good. Otherwise it's the usual domestic draught options and a minimal bottled beer selection. Good for groups and families, with a small but clean outdoor patio for dining.

One of the best places to crush food in Fredericton. Wings are unbelievable, homemade sauces, and they really can't be beat. But the best thing on the menu are the burgers. Tried the "Burger of the Week" last trip in, it was the Pulled Pork Burger. Cold beer, great wings, and one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.....really Mama's a hungry man's dream!!!

Wait times for food and drink while at the table can be excessive sometimes. That being said the food is great, service friendliness is always quality AND ITS ON THE NORTHSIDE. The craft beer isn't for everyone, myself included, but they aren't short on domestics and mixed drinks so you've got options!

Food was out really quickly, service was well above par (constantly preemptively providing excellent service, including a genuineky welcoming attitude) and the BEER THEY'RE MAKING ON SITE is very good, by reports of my dining companions. They serve YCC for cider, so I was happy with my beverage choice as well!

Not the worst place I've been too, but it wasn't great. It was a little pricey, and they were out of the first couple beers I tried to order. The appetizers we had we're a little lackluster. The sweet potato fries were standard, the brushetta was overloaded and was messy because of it. I had the Mac and Cheese with Ham and it wasn't fantastic, it was really creamy and not really Cheesy. Their choice of Kaluha glazed ham made for a strange mix of flavors.

It's always good. Mama's Pub is consistently enjoyable. Our waitress the last couple visits has been super helpful (I suck at remembering names but it was the same server a couple times in a row). My wife is vegan and our waitress has helped her pick awesome vegan options each time. The food is great, the service is great.
