Been to the Rogue many times and although the food is generally great, the last few times we've been, the service has been pretty poor. I think customer service could be GREATLY improved by checking in with your customers halfway through the meal (did they get what they ordered? Do they want another drink? Can you get them anything else?) AND although we might not be able to see a smile under a mask, you sure can hear one in your voice and attitude (or not). We tipped regardless as times are tough we understand, but we sure didn't feel like doing so.

The atmosphere here is wonderful! I'm so glad we decided to stop in. I had the nachos with salsa instead of chili and my husband had a chicken sandwich special. We're dark beer fans so we both tried the Picaroons Winter Warmer and the St. Ambroise stout at the suggestion of our server and we were not disappointed! Speaking of our server, she was amazing! Made us feel like family and more than welcomed us into the establishment. Can't wait to go back and begin tackling their huge selection of whisky!

I tried the healthier option in a place known for its greasy, comfort foods and I have regrets. The Crispy Orange Chicken Stir Fry with brown rice was rather dry and reminiscent of the old diet days of eating chipped cardboard with some sauce. I recommend you stick with the greasy, finger licking food for better tones here.

Had a secret menu item the BBQ chicken nachos a miz between sweet and spicy. Tried 2 moderatly priced whiskeys recommend that you do download the app. Also if you are more than 2 people on a Friday evening recommend that you call in for a reservation.

Not gonna lie the drinks are the drinks and the food is typical pub fare, but the waitress (the hilarious lady with the short hair) is the entire reason we keep going back. Good staff and service can make the difference between just a pub and a great pub. There's another pub just around the corner that I have gone to twice in the 5 years I've lived here and neither time was it my decision. Given a choice I'd never go to the other pub again.

Whiskey selection was out of this world. Everybody loved their meal - my wife and mom each had the seafood stir fry and my dad had the fish tacos. Everything was super affordable. Have attended the pub a few times over the summer months of 2019. Great place to go for a beer and sit on the patio. Located near the corner of King and Regent in Downtown Fredericton. Good selection of beers including major brewery and craft beers from the New Brunswick region. Would recommend stopping by for a beverage. Daily specials and Happy hour at this location. Food is OK at best. Chicken Wings are very small there is not a great selection of sauces. Nachos are OK but they but chips get soft from some of the ingredients quickly. Have and a few other items off the menu but never have been completely satisfied. Staff are friendly but like any restaurant some much better than others. Bottom line is if you want a drink, great place to stop by. If you looking for food. I would suggest have the bite at another location and then head to the pub for drinks.

The ambiance is really nice, and they have a huge selection of whisky's. Service was ok, place was pretty busy. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Food was ok. Steak was really peppered. Where the pepper was light, it had a good flavor. Rather thick edging of fat. Steak was about 1/2" thick, cooked fairly close to request. Couldn't really give a 4, though 3 was maybe a tad low.....but overall....

The inside has a cluttered but clean aesthetic which I really enjoy, they have loads of different bottles of whiskeys placed all around the restaurant which really adds to the aesthetic. They have pretty much any kind of whiskey you could imagine, their whiskey menu takes about 20 minutes to look through of you're going quickly, probably the best whiskey bar in Canada. However, they also serve great food for breakfast lunch and supper with a decent selection of beers. All of their food is amazing and the staff are always the best!

Tried this place in first year university and have been hooked since. Good pub food, good drinks, best Scotch selection in Canada as far as I know and that's not all. The staff are the greatest staff in Fredericton and their turnover shows it, some of the staff have been there longer than I have been going there.

Great food, friendly atmosphere, decent prices. Servers are always on the up so expect to promptly be served and taken well care of. Only issues I've had from 20+ visits is that the food quality can change pretty drastically between some visits as the chef's seem to quit alot. This can occasionally make wait times bad too, but only in summer when the place is the busiest spot in town.

The "Rouge" is a mainstay in Fredericton and has a wide selection of craft brews, domestic beer and of course Single Malt Scotch. The atmosphere is cosy , and the service is very good. In the summer, there is seating outside, and there is paid parking in the structure next door. The menu is typical Pub food, but with great quality. Their salads are of particular interest, because they look as good as they taste. The wait staff understand beer. I often say that when you run a pub you owe it to your customers to properly train your staff so they know they difference between a traditional ale, a lager and an IPA. The Rogue staff can advise you when you ask questions.

Went here in May and I had the worst service ever. We were made to stand and wait for an hour for a reservation that we had made 4 days prior, they told us it was because we were late (we weren’t late) They prioritized the older people who were sitting in our reserved seats. Have been here many times, the food and drink selection is always great! However the last time I was there I overheard a lot of inappropriate language and swearing between the staff. It was around 3pm on a week day so it wasn't very busy but we could clearly hear the conversations happening between co-workers. I realize it was all in good fun between them but still not something I wanted to hear as a customer.

My girlfriend and I visit this place a few times a year on a mini vacation. However, recently the quality has gone down the drain. Ate their Aug 12, 2019 on the patio, and it took over 10 mins to get drinks and 30 mins for our food. The food was thrown together, very messy. Could not eat my main a pork sandwich as the bread could not keep together. Fries came out stale and cold. They do not offer free refills on soda (alright if the food is ok). Will not be coming back .

It's a great whiskey bar, and maybe I'd be more in love with the place if I was a big whiskey drinker. Not a bad selection of beer though, they've got a few craft beers and feature taps. The big thing about this place is the nachos. The nachos are amazing. If I'm going for nachos in Fredericton I'm going to the Rogue. I think I've had other meals there, but the nachos are so good it's hard to try other food.
