This restaurant is always out go to considering it is only a fee minutes down the road, last night it was my friend's 19th so we were going out to get drinks (I am 18 and didn't plan on drinking) we go to the door and a waitress came out and checked our proof of vaccination and she looked at my ID and said "wait you're not 19?" No I am not but I was just going to get food and pay for my friends drinks since it was his birthday and she told me that my parents had to be there. This was at 6:45 around the normal time people get supper. Like I said we have been here multiple times. Frustrated because this has never happened. Anyways took our business to St. Louis Bar and Grill and they let us in and we had a blast there instead. Just a thought what if a group of highschool students wants to go out and get food together as a group will you not let them in because you have liquor in your restaurant or just do your job and NOT SERVER THEM LIQUOR?

Meh, I mean I ordered everything there could be at this place. I only liked 2 items, the meatloaf (which they don't have anymore) and the kettle chips. Currently having their chicken alfredo and it really does just taste like noodles coated in butter. Not worth $25+ imo, everything tastes like it should be -$15. Save your money.

Can't beat Thursday Night half price apps. Mostly get their kettle chip with added toppings. Some times it's hit and miss with the chips being over cooked. My most recent visit I got a Cannon's Flatbread Balsamic reduction veggie with goat cheese. MMM So good! Staff has been questionable but has gotten much better in recent months.

Really good selection of foods, price can be a little high so if you're looking for a cheaper night out, you may want to consider your budget first. Food is usually cooked fairly well, on wing nights their food tends to be a little overcooked, but you're never waiting too long and they waitstaff are pretty attentive and friendly.

I have only been here twice. Mixed review so far for me. First time we had the nachos and they were good. Second time was this month. I ordered the smoked meat on rye. I generally love that sandwhich. Did not love it. Preparation method..seemed like it was thrown in the deep fryer. The bread was greasy. The meat was heated but was a a temperature that made the fat in the meat congele and coat your mouth. I ate 1/4 of it, took the rest home, and gave it to the dog. Liked whatever kind of pickles they used on it, the fries were fine, and the waitress was fine. My husband had the Canonball burger (or named something like that) and it was good.

I have never had a negative experience at Cannon's Cross Pub. As someone who has enjoyed the food at many restaurants, CCP has some of the absolute best menu items to choose from and it's always consistent. Their Cannon Barrels are amazing, their wing sauces are phenomenal (I highly recommend the jalapeno rub) and their ribs are top notch. Nothing about my experiences have ever been negative!

This was my first time to Cannon's Cross Pub. I would say it was your typical pub decor and food with reasonable prices. Nice, friendly staff and good service. I had the fish and chips and have no complaints. The french fries are hand cut and tasty. Myself and my two friends noticed it was pretty cold in the restaurant. In fact we had to keep our winter jackets on the whole time. It would have been nice to have taken them off while we ate. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back.

I will not be going back and I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. We went around 10 pm on the half price wing night. It wasn't busy- there were 3 other tables occupied which should have been an indication that the food wasn't that great. I would have been happier buying a box of wings at the grocery store and cooking them myself. The wings I had at this pub were over cooked. The waitress who showed us to our table was a little obnoxious/rude. The waitress that we had for the evening was very nice but after 15 minutes into having our food I had to ask for ketchup for our fries and for water to drink. Our meal came to 30$ for both of us and I don't think it was worth the money.

Generally food is quite good, and especially good for the price on half price apps Thursdays. relaxed atmosphere, nicely designed... I really like it there.... but the booths are so uncomfortable! The benches are high and the tables are low. My feet don't touch the floor but I tower over the table... Other than that I love it there ????

My boyfriend and I have been there multiple times. However tonight we tried to go for wing night and the host/waiter/manager or whatever he was checked our ID''s and informed us we weren't allowed in because we were underage as he thought the other people we were with would be drinking alcohol... My point being I'm old enough to drive, will be starting college and can vote but I can't get my gosh darn wings? We gladly have taken our business elsewhere and will not be returning.

Proof of Vaccination and ID checks as well as regular covid 19 protocols all in place! Party of 4 & our meals were all good. At one point the music got louder & one staff member noticed it bothered us & asked if the volume was ok & turned it down which was very nice. We didn't have to talk louder over the table just to have a conversation while eating. ????

Food is pretty good, however the service is sub-par. We've experience rudeness on multiple visits from the same server. Considering the food at Snooty is majorly the same we won't bother coming back here.

This bar/restaurant has a great pub atmosphere. The waitstaff is awesome. They are friendly, remember our orders, and generally make the dining experience even better. My friends and I have become regulars because of the great food and casual friendly atmosphere that is consistently provided for us every week we return. Cannons is definitely worth the trip to the North-side.

A group of five girls went to cannons. Three of us 19. Two 18. We came in and the waitresses were sighing and unenthusiastic so I asked if they were closing soon. No. We sat at the big booth by the window. A waitress tells us we need to move because those booths “aren’t for 5 people” so we moved. The waitress in our section slammed the menus down and told us to get out our IDs. I told her a couple of us are 18. She picked the menus up and nastily said “you can’t eat here”. And stormed off. I said “we just want to eat” to which she replied while walking away “liquor license, darling”. The issue here is not the liquor licence. She could have politely explained and given us other options, like MOCO downtown did. It’s that she, and everyone else, were extremely rude to us. Even before knowing a couple of us were 18. I felt stupid as I had told my friends that I love cannons and that the waitresses are so kind. I was shocked. Not returning and will be sharing my experience.
