The staff here are attentive and hard working to the core. They get to know locals and welcome visitors with smiling faces. The owner, Matt and his family, are a stickler for details and it shows. The place is always clean and tidy (lovely ladies room!), staff are great, food is fast and good (pub style). Local craft beers are supported. Fun times include local bands, karaoke, paint nights, pig roast etc. The perfect local place, a lady alone can enjoy a glass of wine and feel safe.

My wife and I tried your place for the first time ever tonight. Your establishment is truly stellar. A real gem. I work in the service industry. I've been a maintenance manager, server and delivery driver for various places and I know how many will jump to do negative reviews but rarely take the time to give kudos after a great experience. Your front of house staff are top notch. I asked for the Fuh-Get-About-It wings. Our server recommended the Bucking Bronco with a side ramequin of the hotter sauce. Her suggestion was spot on. The Bucking Bronco was stellar and the side sauce turned the wings to excelsior. We also ordered the fish taco's which were truly magnificent. Thanks for the great experience. We will definitely return.

My husband and I went on Wednesday wing night and the place was packed. There was no system for table waiting. So we had a beer at the bar as suggested by a passing server. Our bartender was very nice, but we were forgotten about for a table and new people came in and started seating themselves. After 45 mins the bartender finally took initiative and found us a table. She tried, but the food and atmosphere wasnt worth the wait. The wings were good, but the rest of our experience left little to be desired. Will not be returning.

Not a fan of the atmosphere. The music is usually too loud which makes it difficult to converse with the people at your table. Some wait staff are good and others can be inattentive or rude. The service is not always consistent. My husband order Cajun fries once and it tasted like they dumped the whole bottle on it and he couldn't eat them because they were way too spicy. He asked if he could get a new plate without cajun and the waiter said 'well, you asked for cajun' in a very rude tone and we got charged for a new plate of fries. We've had the Cajun fries before and they were not that spicy. My parents come here often and my mum ordered something she wasn't fond of and asked for a literal doggie bag and the waitress just threw out her food and charged full price. I prefer to order food and pick it up. Their chili is really good!

Staff and atmosphere were both great but the food was just mediocre. I had the Greek Mediterranean Wrap with fries and the wrap was rather tasteless and there was NO Tzatziki available to even order/pay extra for! The fries were kind of overcooked as well.

We used to order take out from here often, (too often) however, they so consistently screwed up the orders that we stopped giving them our patronage. Primarily because we got tired of having to call in to complain, it made us feel like jerks, (and they kind of did too).

Me and my wife went here on Sunday, December 19th 2016. Waitress was very friendly but seemed to rush us out the door; they were having a Christmas party and told us we needed to be gone by 8pm and it was five to 7pm when we arrived. I had the taco salad, the meat specifically was unseasoned, the shell tasted like it sat is a very fatty oiled fryer- I would never eat this again. My wife had the Feta Burger which tasted alright. We had left 5 minutes before their little party began and I began to feel bloated. Less than an hour later, me and my wife dove for our bathrooms (thank goodness we have two bathrooms in our home). I had diarrhea and my wife had thrown up along with diarrhea. Public health and safety has already been contacted. Will not recommend this business.

Just had a bunch of friends out for wings here on their wing night yesterday and the wings were absolutely terrible. 6 people at the table all agreed we would never be going back after our experience. The wings were so over cooked many were inedible, and the others were so dry the experience was completely ruined. To serve wings like this regardless of the wing night deal is shameful. The joke is that there sign says "Jumbo Wings" but they were pitiful dry little things. Stay away if you are after wings!

Absolutely the best pub/comfort food you will find in the area! They have AMAZING wings! quite possibly the best wings this side of the boarder and definitely in my top five all time (which is saying ALOT). The owner grows his own peppers and prepares the sauces, fresh! If you are a fan of suicide wings have to try their signature, Fuh-Get-About-It wings! They are seriously hot, with a tangy finish. Also, I was totally against BBQ sauce/Smokey flavoured wings, until I tried their Bucking Bronco wings. These wings would also be considered extremely hot or suicide, but the flavour is worth it even if you aren't into really hot wings. They have great wing deals on Tuesday AND Wednesday. The rest of the menu is great as well! The owners are super hard working and down to earth, don't be surprised if they serve you themselves or if you catch them bussing tables! So much respect for these people! Amazing wait staff! Awesome party scene on the weekend! I had my Bachelorette party here and it was a blast! Great live acts, entertainment, activities, toy drives, I could go on and on. I am so happy this place exists in my new home-town and i recommend it to everyone who visits the area.

Inconsistency will kill you. I have eaten at Trailside several times over the past year and the food was reasonably good. However, ate there on two consecutive days in late January. The $14 nachos were basically nothing but nacho chips and a few jalapeno peppers... almost zero cheese and ground beef. Sent most of it back and they felt that a 1/2 off on a future appetizer was some great consolation. Then the following night had wings that were so overcooked I had to send half of them back as well and simply refused their condescending 1/2 off appetizer. I'm a local resident and I like to support local restaurants, but that is two strikes. One more and I am finished with them. I don't suppose they care because they have been so busy as a sports bar... but inconsistency may not be a good thing for the future.

Starting to become a little disappointed. The menu is static, they removed the souvlaki which was delicious. The burgers are always stellar thank goodness. Wish they’d have more dinner mains (like salmon or steak once in awhile) and less sandwich type items. Drinks are good, staff is great. Noise level during the Grey Cup was uncomfortable for diners. Nice big room in the back for yellers!

This was my second time at Trailsides. I cannot comment on the food because I didn't eat but our waitress was very friendly and attentive in terms of the service. We had great difficulty getting a cab home despite numerous calls by our waitress and the owner to several cab companies. At the end of the night the owner personally saw to it that we made it home safely. Now that is great customer service!!

I've been here a few times and each time has been pretty good. The food is delicious and the service is normally pretty good as well. The last time I went was on wing night which I expect to wait longer than usual given the fact that it is so busy. They have so many flavors of wings and a lot of other great options such as, burgers, poutines, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches and more.The food was really good, but our server forgot a few things. Everything was corrected in the end.

You will love the burgers , onion rings were one of the best I've ever eaten and the potato skins are to die for. I'm one of those customs who don't rely on reviews but trust this review. We came in seen it was very busy. No one acknowledge us upon arrival. We had to ask where we could sit. After taking our drink order and getting those, we looked through the menu after 1 min we knew what we wanted and put the menus down. (The dinner rush was all served all most servers are standing around). 3 different servers walked by us while our menus where down. Our server was busy helping other servers. Then 2 other tables came in about 15 mins after we already had our menus down they got there drinks and put food order in before our waiter even came to see us. We then spoke to another passing waiter and explained we have now been here for over 40 mins our drinks are done and no one has taken our order. She then got very defensive and making excuses as to why our waiter could not come take our order. (We seen him taking other tables orders). Obviously they did not appreciate our patronage, and didnt not need us to support this local establishment. We paid for our one drink and left as it was nearly 8pm at this time. We took our business else where. This is the 3rd time we have had the worst experience there. We travel around alot and try many different places but this one is close to home and we try to support locally. We recommend many restaurants in niagara to family and friends. Unfortunately we will not be returning nor recommending due to the poor service skills this establishment has.

Our favourite place to go on Wednesdays afternono after singing open mic. If you don't get there before 4 ish I guarantee you'll be waiting for a seat. Food is great, staff friendly. If I could post zero stars I would. I ordered take out tonight at 8:30... I was told it would take an hour to prepare a salad- after patiently waiting an hour I picked up a salad- but definitely not what I ordered. Check your food before you leave to avoid the drive back or the disappointment of arriving home and seeing something completely different from what you paid for. The waitress was very apologetic, but the manager who i briefly spoke over the phone with did nothing to help remedy the situation. I've worked in restaurant/ bars throughout university and can empathize with a busy night.... but tables were almost completely empty. If I were the owner, I'd speak to the manager about customer service etiquette.

Guess it was a happy mothers day because Mom had an excellent experience at trailside ' s. Mom loved the garparm chicken sandwich and my son daughter and I had the best hamburger we've ever had. Service was excellent and atmosphere fun and comfortable. But seriously the hamburgers wow!!!!

We rode past this place many times on our bikes but never had a chance to stop in but this night we did instead of eating in Fort Erie and are so glad we did. The waitress was very fast to meet us at the door and made an effort to find us a comfy table even with seating restrictions. The drink menu was great offering ciders and coolers instead of the usual boring beer selection like other places. Drinks came fast and I ordered the Matt burger with side salad and my gf ordered the Philly Steak salad. Service slowed down a bit at that point and it would have been nice to get my salad first, however the wait was worth it when the food arrived. My burger was grilled to perfection with a nice crunchy taste and the Matt sauce was a nice play on "Mac" sauce. My gf found the Steak salad excellent with (in her words) "just the right stuff to make it tasty". Cons? My salad would have been nice earlier, instead I had to eat it fast before my burger got cold. I thought the burger looked "low" until I realized it didn't come with tomato which is puzzling why it was left out however that is how it is described on the menu. We were seated next to a loud speaker which in the beginning was a classic rock playlist which was a bit much, however the selection and my hearing did improve when it kicked into alternative. Last, on the way out through the patio it looked so cozy but as there were no heaters we couldn't have enjoyed it on our less chilly-than-usual November night. That will have to wait until next year which we will make it a point of being there to try the rest of the menu!

Sat down at the bar because I was by myself the girl gave me a menu and totally forgot to come back so I could order my dinner. I live in town locally and have eaten here before and it has been good but I don't think being treated like you are invisible while the server gabs for long periods of time at tables of people she knows.Im not saying don't go here but if you do wear comfortable pants it's going to be awhile.As for me there are too many choices to eat to be abused.Use your own judgement.

Went to Ridgway to go to Brimstone Brewery for lunch and discovered that it didn't open until later that day. We asked some locals for a place for lunch. They recommended the Trailside . This place was a sports bar and had a very good vibe about it. As we both like craft beer surprisingly enough they had a good selection to choose from. I had the burger and salad combo which was very tasty and my girlfriend had the french onion soup which wasn't so great. Overall We would try this place next time we're in Ridgway . All restaurants deserve a second chance.

We've been here several times and the food and service is always great BUT unless you love the party atmosphere don't go on a Saturday night!. I'm sure most folks were having a great time but for us seniors it was way too packed and loud. Service was slow but not the servers fault. They were run of their feet.

Have had food there a few times because my friends like the night life there. It is always cold, tastes bad and small portion. The nachos are a JOKE... I literally thought it was a big joke. The quesadillas were also a joke. I have never had such a puny, cold, chewy quesadilla. We started out at the bar having some beers and then later on in the night went to get a few more beers and the bartender girl accused us for not paying for our drinks and made us pay twice the amount. I don't think we will be going there again. I hope.

Another amazing experience at Trailsides! The wings at Trailsides are honestly the best wings in the Niagara region..the burgers are also excellent as per my wife... we have always had great service and an overall great experience at Trailsides... great atmosphere, friendly staff.. the owner is always interacting with the patrons making sure that all is good.. love spending time there with friends and family.. I highly recommend Trailsides!!

This is a trendier place. Their food is good, and they have more beer selections. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. But it can be pricey, and they takeamerican cash at par, making another ~20% profit for the same items. Smoking section in the back of the patio.

I ordered fish and chips takeout. I was told by waitress to crisp up the food by putting it in the oven when getting home. I open the boxes and there was so much grease. I put in in the oven and there was puddle of grease afterwards. I thought I would save the drive and go closer to home. I will drive to Green Acres and wait the hour for better food.

Ordered takeout this past Saturday and was disappointed by the quality of food. We ordered 3 lbs of wings which were ok, as they we wet and soggy. We also ordered a large caesar salad that was COMPLETELY INEDIBLE and ended up in the garbage. Had it not been for my bf I would have taken it back. Probably won't be ordering from here again.
