Nice to take a day out and venture to the races. Costs 2.50 for a racing book and minimum bets are 2$. Building itself needs a little TLC as its age shows but you can stand outside and get a front row to the horses.

Good place to watch the horse races, the have plenty room in their bleachers to accommodate the vast amount of crowds that frequent the location. They also have food stands and food trucks as well as serve alcohol etc. Try you're hands at betting and see if u can win big. They also have various different events through out the season where the races are worth more.

This is a great place to bring the family, parking is free, it's free to get in and its wheelchair accessible. Every Sunday they have a market and featured events, and tuesdays they always have a live band. I've been bringing my family here for many years , they love to see the horses before the races. Theres a picnic area and food trucks. Keep your eyes open for special events, they're always giving things away.

This place is literally a historical site. It's the oldest Racetrack in North America and it's been revamped a time or two. Great for a day off to have a few brews at the tiki bar and bet on the "ponies"

This was a wonderful experience for the family it’s just beautiful to watch the majestic horses race through the dirt track winning you plenty of money. The only downside would be not enough shaded seating. Children can pet the horses and see the horses running by. The betting is really satisfactory being easy to bet and accepts Canadian and U.S currency and simple betting booths. It doesn’t have as much seating as expected but is a fun outing for an evening.

This is a nice relaxing place to be. Get to be close to the horses before the race. Stand sit outside or inside. Food is good and reasonable. Betting is easy and fun to watch at the rail. Saw all ages here. Come and enjoy.

im just refering to wagering on fort erie i really liked the track mainly the pick four but so far this year there is no money to be made you have to have longshots actually win some races or there is no point and change the pick three and four to 35 cents im sure it would be popular since now you have the 20 cent one it would actually put more money in those pools.

Love this place but it's too bad they never got the slots back. The short fields and not being able to properly fill races is sad. They needed the slots to attract more people to the facility. As a former trainer/ owner I know what it looks like on the backstretch, very sad hardly any horses back there. If it wasn't for the Woodbine horses going there to run they wouldn't be able to fill the races. How are trainers supposed to attract clients when they can't guarantee that their horses will be able to run on a regular schedule. Like I said too bad, I still love this place but it needs to get better. What is happening with the money the government awarded the track for improvements. Don't see anything new. HELP FORT ERIE RACETRACK!!

I love going to Fort Erie racetrack. It is a beautiful place retaining the design that provides maximum enjoyment for those of us who love thoroughbred racing. Although it can be a long drive from Barrie. I would really miss my 2 to 4 trips a year. Plus it is much harder to get to Saratoga, Monmouth, Delaware or Kentucky Downs.
