I DJ'd a wedding ceremony on the beach and the reception in the outer boat house on September 30/17. The staff were awesome and very accommodating. The view was spectacular! I wanted to especially thank Duncan (Event Mngr) for his assistance after the event...he went above & beyond! This is a great venue and I would not hesitate recommending the Buffalo Canoe Club to anyone planning a wedding or other special event. Food is OK... Service is good... These kids try. The kids club and junior sailing lessons are great fun and there is certainly a community feeling about the place... Where everyone knows your name.

Fourth of July here was great although their fireworks ended a bit abruptly with minimal "finale" we saw them off of a said boat and had a great time.

One of my favourite places in the world. Amazing staff and great management make this location a valuable part of Crystal Beach that I want my family to grow up with. Pristine tennis courts, a clean beach, and unbeatable milkshakes at the snack bar make this beach paradise any boater's dream... Not to mention the never ending summer events and live music. If you're not a member but looking to 'test the water', the best thing you can do is show up on a race night - boats are always short of crew and willing to teach newcomers. I guarantee you will meet friends immediately and want to splurge your money on a membership after a taste of it's summer lifestyle. Context: I'm 32 with a wife and child, and have met life long friends of every age group, both with members and staff.

Recently attended a wedding the appetizers where good but the food was very disappointing ordered steak but got what seemed to be thick slice of roast beef on the tough side with gravy the power went out at 830 pm and didn't come back on the whole night if it wasnt for one of the guest having a generator delivered we would have had no DJ entertainment over all if it weren't for the generator and good company and some fake candles the night might of been totaly ruined was some what romantic congrats to the bride and groom for handling it very well hope you got great discount you deserve it congrats again Mr and Mrs Johnsen

Stayed beachfront (nice sandy beach) for a week in August2020 in the East Lansing Lodge. Weather certainly helped, but it was a wonderful experience. Accommodations are clean, with very generously sized 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and huge kitchen, dining, living, screen rooms on the 1st floor. Modest prices at the snack bar, great food at the restaurant. How do you beat listening to gentle waves all night? Definitely recommended... Hope to return next summer!
