Not even worth 1 star. Literally bought one henessy botttle for my table and some female security doubted me and kicked me out because there were too many people around the area. I explained to other securities but they didn't even try to believe me (I even showed them the receipt.) I literally lost my IQs from here. Securities with questionable ego and unnecessary force make this club not enjoyable.

Still has bad ventilation like when it was called Uniun. Service is slow and poor quality, even with a booth prearranged. Often sold out of certain bottles and try to upsell. Poor management.

i came here with my friends last weekend and immediately the staff were extremely rude. i had never been here before so i was confused and asked a question only to get yelled at. i understand the door people gotta be tough sometimes because people try to sneak in but i wasn’t trying to cause an issue and kept apologizing. it turned me off from the club before we had even gotten in. the vibe inside was alright, they played some club music but it seemed like everyone was just there to be seen and watch people from their booth instead of going out to have a good time.

Pretty good club, awesome lighting and atmosphere however they were only playing EDM. 100% could not enjoy the music if I was sober. They occasionally mixed in some music which made it wayyyyy better. Idk if I just went on some special EDM night or what, but I would need confirmation that they play actual music before going again.

Came here last Saturday with a large group, and had one of the best nights out I’ve had in a long time. This is by far the best night club I’ve ever been to! Everything from security being chill and respectful to an amazing dance floor with an awesome lighting set up and dope music. It was my first time here and at one point I was lost and walked into an area I wasn’t supposed to be in, if it were another club I’ve been too, the security would’ve been on a rude and aggressive power trip, yelling at me to leave or something. But here, the security guy knew I was a lil lost and pointed me in the right direction in a calm respectful manner. Overall a great experience and I hope I’m able to come back again soon.

This is the club that made me never want to step foot into a club again. Worst experience ever, the bouncers are on a power trip. I stepped outside for a second and wasn’t allowed back in to get my jacket from coatcheck.. in the freezing cold. Never again.

Emailed tried to set up a booth, had friends come from the USA for this. They never told me I had to submit a deposit and gave me the impression I was good to go. Got there and I would be okay with them not letting me in but the disrespect from the security really made us upset. Love the vibe here, everyones energy is so positive and it’s a great place to bring friends or have a birthday party at. I love the ladies washroom! You can get your make uo touched up for free! And the mirrors have these cool lit up filter type decals. The whole spot is hella asthetic and with two floors to choose from you have two vibes to chose from all night!

Came here with my girlfriends for my 26th birthday. A very spacious club, I defiently enjoyed the different rooms. Downstairs had more of a latin vibe and upstairs was rap/hiphop. I only ordered from Victoria who provided an exceptional service, there was 7 of us and she got all the orders right every time. This club is favourite, can't wait to come here again.

We go to Toybox once or twice a month, on Friday nights. We typically deal with Victoria. She sets us up on guest list and takes care of us at the bar as well. Even though she mostly works downstairs and we are mostly upstairs, we still go to her bar downstairs to get our drinks. She's an absolute pleasure to deal with and she's a 5 star bartender. Make sure you visit her when you go to Toybox.

I came in last weekend with my partner and some friends and a bartender named Vicky took care of me all night. She was really nice and friendly and made me my Gran Marnier, with Hennessy, a splash of gingerale and two ice cubes, just how I like it! I hate to be so specific because the whole time I'm thinking she totally hates me. Vicky didn't make a fuss about it at all and even remmebered my order as well as my friends orders.

My friend and I came here around 12:30 one night, even though the line was pretty long it moved quickly and got in in no time. The music inside was really good on the Saturday we went, and the crowd is pretty young - there's not a lot of weirdos you have to watch out for here LOL. All the workers were really nice, and everyone gives good vibes here. Love how it is 2 floors so you have room to move if you want, love the cute decorations/atmosphere here. Definitely coming back!!

I've been waiting for two weeks for the refund of two booths that I booked for a concert that never happened. They never reply any emails, don't pick up the phone, so it seems that I have to wait until they decide to refund me. Customer service is terrible. To confirm the reservation they asked me for a same day deposit, now to return it takes two weeks with no updates? That's ridiculous!!!

My fav nights are Saturdays cause my favourite bartender Sara is usually working and she makes my whole experience that much better!! I went here for the first time when Robin Schulz was the DJ a few days ago. Someone threw a bottle into the crowd on the dance floor and it smashed over my head leading to a loss of a lot of blood. Toybox did nothing to help me out even though they have cameras in there to see what happened, head of security said they would contact me which they never did. DON'T GO HERE, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY. I sent you an email on Saturday and you never replied to me. When I called and pressed 1 to speak to someone the automated message starts from the beginning. EMS couldn't find my wound, they didn't want to get near me cause of the blood, and no one told me to go to the hospital.

Been here a few times now. Events are constantly overbooked which leads to the club being extremely packed. The AC needs improvement. With that many people in such a small room, you’re constantly rubbing against strangers and temperatures can get well over 40 degrees. Bartenders take tips on their own accord. Instead of giving back your change, they’ll pocket $5 for handing you a water bottle. The ceiling is constantly leaking water too. I don’t see myself going back nor encouraging anyone I know to go back. Avoid this place like the plague, go to Rebel instead.

Great sound system. The AC system is great and actually works. You will feel blasts off cool air among the hot dancing bodies. Bar tends to be expensive like most other clubs. Washrooms are big and clean!

I was there for Slander on July 26th. It was the most HORRIBLE experience ever. First off it was over crowded, secondly it was WAYYYY toooo hot with NO air conditioning. I couldn't enjoy myself whatsoever. I spent majority of the time standing outside or sitting down because i was way too hot and was gasping for air half the time. I missed half of slanders set as well. I will not be coming back to this venue.

Edit to their response: Yes, looking through wallets is fine. Looking through the slits that barely holds a business card, and breaking it? You consider that standard? I was in a group of 6, I was the only one who had their wallet searched (funny thing is I have the smallest wallet, since I own a minimalist wallet). Music is subpar, unless you like the same bass on repeat. Didn't like that one of the bouncers went through my wallet, damaging the individual pockets that hold my cards. Not sure why it was necessary to look at those slits.

Literally the worst nightclub experience of my life. The bouncers told us (a group of 5 people) to pay them $100 and said it was our cover. We went inside and were charged $20 each as a cover again. Never ever going here again. Wish I could give this place negative stars. If you want to save your money and be treated with respect, go somewhere else.

The club was amazingly decorated and was jam packed with cool people! I enjoyed that they had a downstairs as well. But it took over an hour to get in because everyone was crowding instead of actually lining up and security did nothing about it. And then took another hour to get my coat from coat check at the end. Went to see Slander a while ago, and boy do I regret it. Terrible place, has no air circulation. Within 15 minutes of Slander starting I had to leave to get air. When I went outside I was shocked at how many people were outside considering how packed the venue was inside. Probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a show.

This is one of the better clubs I have gone to. They have a great size dance floor, the long bar is perfect when you need a drink, AND they have a lower level. This lower level is perfect because they have ANOTHER bar AND a seating area that I swear, nobody knew about! I have never been so happy to sit down and not feel squished.

Currently this is the best club in Toronto, they stayed true to their claim. Every time I go with friends we have an amazing time. The music is on point which keeps us dancing all night. The bar staff is amazing, but Cleo is my go to bartender. She has a great vibe and makes the best drinks, she suggested I try a Polar Bear and it is now my favourite drink. Thanks Cleo

Trashy place. Been here once, but came back again because friends forced me to go again. Got bottle service and informed them I will personally be arriving late, they said it’s ok. Showed up, refused to let me in because of “capacity” but let a bunch of people in after me. Didn’t care to check if I’m telling the truth about my people having a table inside or anything. NEVER bringing ANY business here again. And I’ll let you know you are officially black listed by the ASW club.

Loved it! Great venue. Reasonably quick lineups. I got there about 50 mins after doors open. Tonight was Oliver Heldens coming to Toronto Toybox nightclub and what an awesome experience. Their sound systems is surprisingly good. I ordered 2 beers (a Stella and Budweiser) and it was like 17$. The interior design is pretty cool, fairly easy to navigate the stairs and coat check. They have multiple booths on the main floors and basement. Their bar tenders is friendly and will accommodate you with flashy lighting trays if you order bottle service. I would come here again. Fun experience if you bring your friends.

1st time going toybox Saturday night for my girlfriends birthday, who had made Guest list. Made it there 10mins before guest list ended. The girl who was running the lines let us thru. When i got to the entrance, the girl who was collecting the entry fee told us 15$. i told her were on guess list, the girl gave us pure attitude, saying we were supposed to get tickets. i told her we didnt get any. Then the security came, and asked if theres a problem. i told him that we didnt get our tickets. With attitude he said "thats not my problem". then pointed outside. with frustration i go back to the girl who was running the line. Tried to get her attention nicely, while ignoring me. Finally she helps us, with attitude, gave us the tickets. then we try to go back to the front. While this whole situation happen, it took us a whole 15 min. Made it back to the front and the girl at the entry told us to pay when i gave her the ticket. i told her we were here before 1130, like seriously. She tells me not to argue with her. GIRL nobody is trying to argue with you. so everybody had to pay. Whatever... now i get to the bar.. it was busy, so i understand its going to take while for the bartenders to make there rounds. waited for 10 mins, but i noticed that there where other girls waiting too for a while. The bartenders were only helping the guys. decided to go dance for bit and come back later. samething happen, still the bartenders only helping the guys.... in other words.. terrible staff lol. Only good thing i have to say is decent music, and cool lights. Been to better places

I just wanted to write a review about how awesome our server Zana was. The club was super busy but she did everything to make my friend feel special for her bachelorette. She even helped us move our booth to the room downstairs after one of the bartenders told us we couldn't. She was patient, friendly and kind and never made us feel like a bother :)

Came here last weekend for the first time with a few friends to celebrate a birthday with a couple friends. Overall had a good time. Loved the fact that theres a bar upstairs and downstairs as some bars would be crowded but then others wouldn't be and you'd be able to get drinks fast there versus waiting. The bartender Sara was amazing and a delight to deal with! Would definitely come back again!

Went to toybox on Saturday night, friend Anna had a booth booked well in advance, when she arrived they forgot she booked a booth and there was some confusion.. i showed up a little bit later with another one of our friends, the security guard at the front would not let us in, reasoning that there were too many males inside... after 10 mins of trying to get in, our friend who booked the booth came out to get us, but the security guards still insisted we had to tip them for letting us in.. even though the club wasn't that busy and there was no line the bouncers wanted to get paid off before letting us in!!! It is very upsetting that such a nice club has such working outside. Our party had a booth and everyone was dressed up very formally (dressy)... I would rather spend money at the bar then in the bouncers pocket.. bad business is bad business!!! Overall it was not a good experience. The owners should be more aware of who is representing the club at the front door!

They charged us $30 each plus another $20 cover just for now get in due to capacity limits. Didn't tell us until after the $20 that it would be more. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I visit toybox often and my favorite bar tender is Hilary! She always hooks it up with guest list and she’s the absolute best. So helpful and great to talk to I always go straight to her bar at the back corner!
