This is late night venue for mainly for house and techno but also sometimes for hip-hop. Usually special events are hosted here. The sound system is good but not amazing... There are tables in the back for sitting down with the dance floor in front of it.the Dj booth it out but there is no screen behind the Dj... The light effects are not amazing... The only reason you would go to this club is to see an international DJ that you really like for a special event and you go with a group of friends. Cover is 20-25 bucks and the club closes around 5 am.

I went there for YYY (girl event), the music would reach a drop and then change at the good part. Whoever was DJing wasn't so good and everyone I spoke to agreed. So many males groping females at this lesbian event. Anyway, that's not even the worst part. There were two female bartenders, the one with wings and a low tube top was pretty sociable and nice, but the other one wearing tight black was extremely extremely rude to me it was terrible I was so polite and even had extra tip in my hand, she'd look at me and give me a dirty look, then would go serve the guy, and kept doing this. Then was just rude. Let's just say I didn't give her that tip and I am never coming to nest + discouraging everyone who is curious about here to go.

Terrible. The drinks cost a fortune. Not a huge selection. The music blends together and the djs make every song sound the same. Cover was too much plus they take your lighters which you don't get back and you cannabis which you also don't get back. They rob you in all ways possible. Its a gross looking place. Looks run down and are scamming people. Please don't give them your hard earn money. Its not worth it. Not one bit.

The Merchant Connection

Decently sized event venue located just outside of Little Italy. Drinks are fairly priced, the dancefloor is large enough with both the sound and lighting systems being slightly above par. The bathrooms are not easily located or marked coupled with numerous stairs to contend with in order to access the event space are the reasons why it didn't get a solid 4 in my opinion.

The cashier who took my money when going in the club Friday, December 21st 2018 shortly after 11pm wasn't displaying even average customer service to my friend and I. The stamp given before going in the club that she placed on our wrist stamped our hands very lightly. This caused us to wonder if it would be seen properly. After my friend looked at the stamp placed on her hands closely, the cashier crinkled her forehead, and said, "What, you can't see it? We said no it's light. She said yes, are you going to go inside or what?"

Nice music venue with an absolutely sick sound system. Wear your eaplugs (the best you can afford) because you WILL be blasted off your feet. Bathrooms are extremely clean and well stocked. My only negative here is that you cannot refill water bottles in the washroom because there is an attendant (that you tip... another negative) and the water is hot. Big dance floor, nice looking booth, great lights, and the biggest disco ball in Toronto!

The ceilings are incredibly low and the place turns into a steam sauna when it is full. The place does bring great DJ's into town and the parties can be fun. However, the heat in the summer can be unbearable. Staff were pleasant and security were nice as far as downtown clubbing locations go

Never open a bar tab here. I was overcharged several drinks on my bill and when I asked for a receipt they were "unable" to print one for me. I was then told I could wait until the bar closed to get one printed. Bartender Nikki was rude, unprofessional, and lacked common courtesy. If you're having a good week, come here to ruin it.

DJ Starting From Scratch from Virgin Radio usually throws the best 90’s parties here! Always a great time and great drinks. The clientele is usually a mature crowd and attracts a great time. One of the worst night clubs I have ever been too! The price was too include a tier selection which was supposed to be better than the other tickets. When I asked what section do I need to be in the guy just said go anywhere you want. Majority of the people looked extremely doped up. The interior was the club looked no where like the pictures online. The staff was courteous but experience was a drag. Do not go! I will be asking for my money back through the booking agency right now.

Everytime I go the securities are always giving people a hard time, I've even gotten kicked out twice, first one very unfairly securities took me to the back and grabbed my wallet thinking I had something in there and stole $110 I had, second time I was literally thrown on the streeton the floor in the cold without my jacket and I was a little bit drunk had no way to tell my friends I was out. Overall the music is great, the DJs are awesome and all the other staff is great but the securities need to be replaced.

July 14th. 2018 they had a party upstairs organized by a group named Suah. The AC was off the entire night and the place was packed. It was so hot it was almost unbearable. We left for that reason, they just had one big fan on and that was it. I don't want to think this is just a strategy to get people buy more drinks. Places like this should be more careful about this. Never going back.

Great security measures and staff at the door and entry fees are never overpriced. Accepting cash only, there is an ATM inside as well as a coat check. The bathrooms are quite fancy and always relatively clean and monitored by super friendly and helpful "bathroom butlers" (I honestly can't remember their job title... oops). The bartenders are always cheery and polite. The ambiance of the club is very spacious, with neon light accents and surprisingly comfy couches. The in-house DJs play a good mix of hip-hop, rap, afrobeats, soca, and dancehall that's absolutely enjoyable for the crowd this club (aka Hideout) attracts. Always a great spot for a slightly more low-key nightclub birthday or spontaneous outing.

The drinks were phenomenal. Super delicious but a little overpriced. We went on trap night so if you’re looking to dance this was an ok place to go to. We told the DJ multiple times is he could play a Spanish song (Bad Bunny) at least once but he never did ????????‍♀️. Aside from that they have a really nice decorated wall in the bathroom so if you wanna take selfies this is the place to do so.

The place is pretty decent. People love to dance here and it's great! If you like techno music then this is the place for you, because it's all they played. Majority of the people here are middle-aged. One thing was a major turn off was that the horrible cigarette smoking in one corner of the club that night.

Been in lots of venues around the world. Went there in their Sat night things. Music and DJs were absolutely terrible. At least if they played it from YouTube people would actually dance not just stand and get bored! Not much variety of drinks within their two main bars and remember bring cash as it's min $50 by card which in that case they also rip you off to max. Not recommend it at all. Below zero is more realistic.

Nest is a pretty good club. I went on a Saturday for a tech house show, decent crowd and there was actually places for you to sit down ! I will note that the drinks really felt like they were poured properly. Sometimes I feel like clubs water down there liquor - this place for sure doesn't. It's pretty close to other bars/restaurants so if you want somewhere to go to listen to Techno/Tech House I would check it out. Pros: Places to sit, decent crowd, good drinks. Cons: 30$ Cover did not seem worth it based on the performers.

A decent competitor to Coda, I have been here few times when reputable djs where performing, when it gets too busy it's a little bit scary since the 2nd floor shakes like an earthquake but that's part of the thrill! If I could leave zero stars, I would. Made the mistake of leaving a friend at the front with security staff to grab coats from coat check and find out the next morning that she was robbed $200 right out of her purse. I know that money was there just before leaving her to get our coats because I checked her bag for her coat check ticket and all the money was there. We left right after, so there was no other chance for her to loose that money!

Where to go for heavy electronic music in this city. A lot of acts from out of town play, as well as locals. There's always a crowd, but rarely feels so crowded you can't breathe. People are friendly, and everyone is there for the music - the enthusiasm shows. I've never seen a fight there, and people keep their intoxication levels at a respectful level. The design inside is subtle, but nice. Solid lights and sound system, and the floor feels solid as well. Great place for a night of dancing.

Nice place but lets talk about the barmans... they sold their beer 7$.. or 8$.. depend who you are. I paid 7$ all night for Molson Canadians and one of my friend paid 8$ for the same beer. They also took his 10$ at the first beer saying "the 2$ was for the tip". Personnally dont go there. They are rude, they never smile and they scam you if you're from Québec.

The DJs were here fantastic, but the drink is total rip off. A male bartender there charged me 16$ for coffee cup sized 'fruit juice'. He explained he put two nips of liquor there, trying to convince me of the price, but I tasted very little of it. Not only can't he make a proper drink, but also overcharges their guests. Just watch out what they charge you for drinks there.

Not pleased with my experience here. Paid $40 for my ticket to Mark Knight over 2 weeks ago. Nest completely oversold the event and we had to wait close to an hour and a half to get in. There was no separate line for those that had tickets and those that did not. It was first come first serve. Overall, the place was unorganized and not professional. I imagine if I showed up later I would have been waiting for 2+ hours (by which I would have probably left). Doubt I'll be back.

Clubbing experience: Really fun place to be, staff were amazing and attentive. Really good Pat down at the front, security walked around consistently. Music was decent Bathrooms were clean Note: I did not pay for drinks so I cannot comment on the quality or price. Also I noticed people complaining about lighters. It's totally understandable they would take it for Safety reasons and they did give back my lighter when I asked at the end of the night

The bartenders really seem to mess up your orders here as I was given the wrong drink and the wrong change in multiple occasions, music is pretty good and the overall vibe is good ... better check for drugs and other stuff would make it a bit of a better experience as you can smell the weed and see the drug little bags floating around the dance floor

Absolutely the worst Halloween experience I have ever had. My group who paid for three bottles were ridiculed by the waitress serving us and management refused to speak with me when I asked to make a complaint and request to not pay for tip. I was not intoxicated and made the request in a polite, professional manner. Instead of being able to speak to management two security guards came to me and the waitress that I was upset with appeared and said 'GO WITH THEM, OR THEY WILL PICK YOU UP AND TAKE YOU BY FORCE'. I have never seen a calm, sober person be treated in this manner. Absolutely disgusting, low class establishment.

This club was a complete waste of time. Nothing at all like the descriptions. The second bar was covered in a sheet because of the low turnout but they still charge 30 bucks each cover for sub par music. Spent 10 bucks at the Orbit and got live music and an even livelier crowd.

Nest is certainly one of the better club spots in Toronto. The renovation has turned into a clean, well organized space, with a fantastic sound system too. The sound really permeates the entire space without feeling overbearing. The bartenders are quick, professional, and friendly. Security is professional as well. Nest draws a little older, and more civilized crowd than many of the spots around the city as well.

It was an okay experience. Overpriced drinks and extremely undereducated bar staff. I spent over $90 on drinks for myself in two hours and didn't even get tipsy; it was ridiculous! There must be better places to go than here. There were also too many creepy guys trying to grab you to dance and the music was so loud EVERYWHERE that you can't communicate to anyone.

I had to wait for almost four hours to see the DJ(Louie Vega) I paid for. I had to head back home without seeing him play his signature. What a waste of money. What's more, I don't think the club does not count the number of people they let in because the place was so packed with people to the point I began to concern about my safety. People around me started fighting since there was barely any space for bobbing. I was not even able to check how good or bad the musician was. Lastly, the cloakroom lady was the grumpiest person I've ever seen. Besides all that, here one tip for you. Order bottled or canned drink. The mixer they make would not give you anything. It's merely water.

A great nightclub on College Street. Primarily a house and techno venue, bringing both local and international DJ. Both the door staff and bar tenders were very friendly. The washrooms have an attendant and were well maintained. A good option for late night partying.

Overall i had a good experience at this venue. The just hurdle that i saw was the two flight of stairs that individuals would have to navigate in any emergency after driving alcohol for four hours. The male washroom has ample urinals but the grungy and dates. Female bathroom are larger than the male but also needs Reno. If anything fell on the floor in there leave it where it lay. The space is large and is in need of better ventilation. It get extremely hot and bothersome at times. Two large bar and a VIP area. The staff we on point and quick with the drinks. Also quick to have the prices fluctuate from bar to bar ????. After 2PM drinks are a premium. Price changes again. Overall the place is a room of requirement for a seasoned promoter.

Came here with some friends last night to celebrate a birthday. We were groped and grabbed by several belligerent men all night and a group of girls next to us were literally being pulled to the ground by the forearms aggressively by random men. They started crying so we escorted them outside and reported it to the bouncer/security. They yelled at us to call the police and did absolutely nothing to mitigate the issue. Terrible experience. Security needs to step it up
