The food was and Reann (our server) was great! I had the beef dip and I highly recommend this as an alternative to the traditional cheeseburger. The only downside was that the patio was cold. Moxies did have propane heaters out there but it wasn’t enough ???? Overall, good spot to meet up with friends!

I’m from out of town wanting to enjoy a nice dinner before I fly out tomorrow, so we came here to relax and have a good dinner. I called beforehand about availability and if it’s patio seating. They told me no issues. We got there and they were quick to lead us to a table but only be told that it hasn’t been cleaned. Okay cool, just have to wait for it to be cleaned. 30 minutes later, we got tired of waiting because now we’re hungry. We drove off to another nearby restaurant who sat us immediately. As soon as we’ve ordered our starters and drinks at the other restaurant, that’s when we get asked to go in for our table. That’s 40 minutes after we were told that our table was only needing to be cleaned. Poor customer service. My business went elsewhere tonight. Update as of July 10, 2021: I emailed them as per requested and have not received any response back regarding my experience. This really just shows the poor customer service even at the management roles.

As i sit here waiting an already 66 mins i still havent gotten my mains. 15 mins to ask anout drinks, another 15 mins to receive and order food then another 36 mins and they brought out the wrong food. Please for the love of god do not come to this location. Worst service.

We went to have dinner at the one close to Toronto Airport (Sandman) . My coworkers salad had hair , it was replaced by another salad and it was missing some ingredients. The servers were busy with a larger group and totally forgot about us. Not the best experience at this location .

Food is as expected from a chain. Staff are very disorganized. Had 3 waitresses come over to ask if our order was taken.. first order was water and it took until the 3rd waitress to get us water 30 mins later. Staff don’t seem to have their specific tables to serve so it’s a free for all. Better places to eat nearby.

A friend and I decided to have dinner at their patio a week ago and was greeted by Roger the Host who took us to our table after about a 20 minute wait. Our Waiter Courtney (sp?) was in training and was professional and pleasant. We thought he did well :) Food was tasty as always and was pleased. Overall, all staff were pleasant, laid back and funny. I wouldnt recommend this location. The service was ok but the mistakes were ridiculous and after a while got somewhat annoying. The presentation of the nachos with chicken was atrocious and embarrassing. The Nashville chicken was decent. The mojitos were disgusting and tasted nothing like it should have. Honestly ive been trying for years to find a decent mojito in the GTA and its hard. That bartender should be ashamed to serve that. And dont get your hopes up at moxies. The Caesars on the other hand werent that bad. The pasta was gross and tasted sweet and salty. The sweet potato fries were quite good and the garlic chive aoili was delicious. The burger was pretty good too. I was also charged twice for salads i didnt order. And was charged for guacamole when none came with my nachos. After pointing out the mistake with the salads charged to my bill the error with the guac came back and at the point i just wanted to get outnof there so i paid my bill. Tipped my waitress and got the hell out of there. I dont recommend. It doesnt seem like theyve a clue what theyre doing. Its quite sad too cuz i usually enjoy the food atleast when i go to moxies

Decided to stop by for some food and drinks after a long day of meetings. Located just off the airport strip I the Sandman Hotel. Was greeted by the hostess and our waitress was also very good with our orders and making sure our drinks were topped up. I decided to have a Caesar salad with chicken and an order of calamari overall it was a good experience just something about the menu that doesn't catch my taste buds but it might catch yours. Very clean very nice location and friendly staff worth the visit

This Moxies was not it. I just came from a long flight and it's my birthday so I was looking for something decent to eat. I ordered the loaded burger and fries. They were lukewarm. I told the waitress and she said ok sorry to hear. No offer to get a manager or anything. I ordered a drink from the bar and the glass came to me extra sticky on the stem. I noticed the drink spilled on the table when I came back from the washroom, it was never cleaned. Normally when someone spills something, they clean it right away. At least I know I do. Usually waitresses and servers ask if you want water. None of that was asked. I was missing utensils and ended up asking a Male server in passing who said he cant help me then I said really and then he went and got the utensils for me. I asked for no onions or pickles and I got them anyway. The top bun was freezing cold like it came from the fridge to the plate. I ended up discarding it and only ate the bottom bun which was warm. All in all this restaurant was a complete turn off. I should have opted to go somewhere else. But I was really craving a Moxies burger. This location definitely falls flat

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish was great. Starting with the hosts who greet you with their genuine smile and warm welcome, to our server Dalaylay? Delinglay? Dalenay? (pardon my spelling if I got it wrong). She kept us entertained throughout our whole dining experience. During the course of our meals, a manager approached our table and introduced himself as Esterbaun asking how we are enjoying our time. Thought that was a nice touch to great hospitality. As for the food, it can’t get better than this and the prices are fair for the portion size. PLEASE dont forget to save some room for the warm, melt in your mouth WHITE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE! It will leave you with cravings for more each time!

Edited review after a second visit: I returned for a second time to get the same dish I loved on the first visit, this time for take out. It had so much raw onion my eyes were watering when I ate it. I called and asked if they could make a small kids portion, without the insane amount of onion because I couldn't eat it- and they said NO. So disappointing, it will be my last visit to Moxies. Guess I'm ordering a second meal from another restaurant now ????

Food was really good atmosphere is cozy. Price is high, especially drinks. Parking mixed with hotel so there is plenty. Staff was friendly. I would try the Thai curry and if you like sweets the white chocolate brownie. Their ice cream and whipped cream tastes really hand man's and not overly sweet. I'd come back but I wouldn't get a drink next time.

The food was ok. If you get wings, try mixing the Honey Garlic and Hot sauce *chefs kiss* The service was terrible. It took our server 45 minutes to take our drink order. When she brought our drinks, we decided to give her our appetizer and main entree order at the same time since it was taking so long for her to come back. Because of this mains were brought out 5 minutes after our appetizers and so none of us even touched our mains and had to pack them to go. When mains were served I asked for another 6oz of wine- it never came. If she had come back after mains were served I would have asked for it.. but by the time we were basically finished I figured I would skip the wine now, surely they won’t charge me for it.. right? It did show up on the bill. I am VERY disappointed. Probably my worst dine in experience in years.

Appetizers seemed better then the ribs for personal experience, Nachos were dry though and had almost no flavor. The calamari tasted pretty good though. The outside tables were spaced out really well and the waitress was polite, the drinks were okayish (Soft drinks could be drained in 3 tiny sips). One thing that made the experience very unpleasant was that there were 3 or 4 wasps outside that were constantly circling the outside tables, going on the food too, which gave a sense of urgency for rushing to eat the food, which was unpleasant. I'd suggest eating inside if possible as the wasps can ruin the experience when they crawl over your food. Customer service was pretty good though, the food wasn't 100% pleasant in my favour but it was filling, outside can be a bit uncomfortable at most.

Food is good, I had the bruschetta and for main course the rumen with pork belly (recommended by Igor). I had an excellent Old Fashion followed by a bottle of 2014 reserve Campo Viejo Spanish Rioja ($45 CAD). Good experience overall, I even took pictures from the Bar w/o Igor getting upset. We chat about my early flight and dish selection. Bruschetta were excellent, right acidity and capers with good goat cheese Rumen broth had a good flavor, the pork belly was closer to bacon (the goal was to give a hint of crispiness as contrast to the noodles and vegetables). I didn't get the other bartender's name but she makes the BEST Old Fashion I have ever tried.

Visited this location for the first time. The food was great. It is spacious. John, our server, was clearly passionate about food. He knew the food so well that I was tempted to ask if he was an aspiring chef. Loved the chandelier, so I had to take a picture. And the washrooms...these are the ones I can finally call Restrooms! Delicious food, strong yet tasty drinks. I have come through this area a few times and have wanted to try Moxie's for a while now. I am so glad I finally got the opportunity! There are two seating options for you to try - the lounge, which is more like a sports bar setting where you seat yourself, and the dining area, which is more of a traditional restaurant setting. I got the beyond burger, which was fabulous, and my sister got the beef vindaloo (also wonderful, I got to have a taste). If you stay near this restaurant, it is definitely a place to check out. A bit pricier than some of the other restaurants in the area, but definitely worth it.

Nice big space and fast service. Close to all the airport hotels if you want to get out for the evening. Lots of options to choose from, and there was a good wine special on. Only downsides were our server seemed in a bit of a rush, and my burger was a little lack luster compared to the others. The bun had already gotten a little soggy when it arrived, so assuming mine was made first and then sat. All of our fries were luke warm. Overall good experience and good atmosphere. Was nice to land with 5 people and not need a reservation. We also had a last second birthday desert request which they happily fulfilled.

This location seems to be a hit or miss for me with both service and food. On our last visit the service was terrible. We were seated outside in the tent and asked for a heat lamp to be moved closer to us. Our server said it was broken yet moments later it was turned on for another couple that just arrived. There was a mix up with our drinks, we barely saw our server and in the end I had to walk inside the restaurant to ask another server to ask ours to finally bringing our bill. He brought our bill then said he was going to get the credit card terminal but never returned. We ended up just leaving cash on the table and walking out. Disappointing but I will say I have had better service from this location before.

We had a great meal. While other locations were busy, this location allowed us to make a last minute reservation on open table. We walked right in. Our server was so kind. Food was great. Service was good. If we were looking to visit a moxies again in the future would probably keep this location in mind. (Especually after having a number of bad experiences at the yorkdale location)

I was very skeptical about going to a Moxie's in an odd location. My friend and I were in the area so we decided to just stop by on our way home. The level of professionalism and team coordination was amazing. This team really does deserve to be recognized for their outstanding service, they definitely go above and beyond for quality customer service.

Wow. Great Calamari. I'll go back here just for the calamari. The salmon was also delicious. Good ambiance (though a/c could be turned up a tad more on a hot day, especially for those of us in suits...this is in a hotel after all) and good service. We didn't wait long and service was on time. The only short coming would be on the attentiveness to the service. It's one thing to serve the food, but another to make a patron feel welcome and wanted and "part of the family". Will go back for sure.

Calamari is my favorite here!! So delicious. I also enjoy the nachos as well! Peach belini is to die for. They make a good steak and mash. The vibe is right in here and we actually got to sit indoors now. Would recommend this restaurant and I will be returning!

Probably one of the nicer moxies ive been too. They did not have nachos though which was a deal breaker for the group.

Really good food and even better service ! Delia was fantastic and made our experience more enjoyable. It’s always nice to have a smile and good conversation. Always recommend this location !

Waited to write this, giving them time to respond. Nothing. Was there two weeks ago ahead of a flight out. Ended up getting double charged on one glass of wine which I caught, back at our hotel. Called immediately and suggested they simply give me a gift certificate for the over charge. It just needed the GM’s sign off the next morning, Aug 21. Not a single word or note since. I’m not following up because I do not intend to darkened the door of Moxies or any of their family of restaurants again. This speaks to the lack of professionalism at the highest level of the restaurant. Sad. Please keep my $ 13 overcharge. Buyer beware.
