Fun, friendly and a much needed family &/or friends meeting place/hangout for the Etobicoke Lakeshore neighbourhood. It's only $5 for gamers to play and guests can also enjoy soft drinks, waters, tea, coffee and light snacks as well. Looking forward to what their kitchen-to-be will have to offer, so City of T.O.: let's get going on granting a food/liquor licence to this fine establishment! I went in to check out Funny Bones Games on Lakeshore Blvd. W. Though a bit plain looking from the outside; I found the interior to be quite aesthetically pleasing and full of fun and entertaining board games on the west wall and plenty of seating in the main area to enjoy the games. Their washrooms were neat, tidy, clean and well stocked. I'll certainly return to enjoy this store at a later date.

This is our favourite spot to have some quality time with our kids. There is a huge selection of games, very friendly staff and a great selection of snacks and drinks for very reasonable prices. We are looking forward to a full lunch/dinner menu and beer once the new zoning is approved.

There's literally no better place to spend a night with your friends in South Etobicoke. For just $5, you play unlimited board games and they have great snacks and drinks of all kinds. It's affordable, fun, and a real gem of the neighbourhood. I highly recommend.

Best place in Toronto to play board games, snakes and lattes is a waste of a store compared to these guys. Can't wait for all of the expanding they have planned! There's also an old arcade style setup in the back with a bunch of old school arcade games! There's also a dog ????!

They have every Hasbro game you can think of but it's hit or miss for everything else. You'll probably find something you could enjoy playing at least but they do need more games on board game geek's top 100 list. The owner was real nice though and they've got just about any snack you could want. I'm probably going to go pretty often for Magic at least. 5$ is a great price for a night of gaming.

And you will have so much fun you will spend a long time there playing games I'm sure !! The cutest dog that greets you and super reasonable prices and a chance to be a kid again and play lots of boardgames ! I will be going back soon :):)

A great little corner in Etobicoke to play games, share drinks, and enjoy quality time with friends. Lovely staff. Great selection of games and tall cans of local craft beers. They host trivia nights every Thursday (attended a Harry Potter trivia night) and had a good time. $5 to play unlimited games. They sell the games too, although they are more expensive to buy here than most places.

I came into the shop and the staff and owner were extremely friendly and helpful, and explained what funny bones was all about, didn’t end up staying for games yet just checking it out but definitely worth a try and a staple to etobicoke! I also participated in their “EMERGING” puzzle game it was very fun and enjoyable! Thank you so much for putting it on and including so many amazing businesses around the area! So creative :)

Pretty new board game cafe but provides a great atmosphere. Decent game selection and the staff (including the owners) are always available to help you find something new to play. The owner's small dog also sometimes hangs around for a pet or two, he's very cute. There are currently no alcohol or meals provided but they say that they will be available soon!

This is one of the most innovative places I've seen in Toronto! It's fun, it's creative, it's colourful and it's welcoming. There are staff there to answer your questions, explain their collection of games and even show you how to play! You can always ask for a recommendation and get a personalized touch! There are tons of tasty snacks and beverages. I'm really grateful this is close to my workplace because it has just the right atmosphere for a casual meeting place. It's perfect for a first date, a family game night and a friendly multi-player competition! Looking forward to their upcoming food and drink menu!

Great place to play games for sure but today i came in to try their heavily expressed bubble tea. It said on the menu that its 5.something dollars and it ended up coming out to $6.91. So 7.00 dollars for what i found to be 5 sips of drink with huge tapicoa balls made me pretty depressed about my bank account, considering i could have drove to Booster juice or even Co-co bubble tea for FAR LESS PRICE FOR FAR MORE QUALITY. The drink layers at the top were from when my husband drove i DID NOT DRINK IT. I do t belice in leaving dishonest reviews especially for a place that is probably helping this community and the children in it. Good luck at the grilled cheese festival bur please consider dropping your bubble tea prices to fit Kumo sushi 3.50 price because 7 dollars for what i paid for is absolutely ludacris.

We went to their Halloween costume party and games night. It was so much fun. The people we met were very welcoming. The game night was $15 which included popcorn a drink and entry into the raffle. We were able to play new board games we never played before and they had a few video games. They do have their liquor license and the food was good. It is a greate little cafe.

An amazing place for family and friends to share a beverage, snack, and enjoy a range of great games. We had fun playing Catan, Splendour and discovering some new games from the vast collection here. They have a retro video game simulator. Their restrooms are spotless. They carry stock of various games which are available for purchase. The owners and staff are amazing! I’ve always been treated like family whenever I visit. I’m excited to return once the pandemic has ended.

Good place but could use more food options. They basically only had frozen snacks that had to be warmed first. No real healthy options except edamame. They also had a good amount of drink variety including alcohol. This was a good place, but I really hope they're able to expand eventually to get a small kitchen or something.

OMG, this place is a little gem in the heart of Mimico/Long Branch neighborhood. It's a super friendly, extremely relaxed gaming experience with so much to offer!!! If you're looking for a specofic boardgames, they most likely have it! Drinks, alcoholic or non, coffees or teas they have all sorts to choose from! The prices are extremely reasonable!!

What a fun way to spend a cold and rainy day. For only $5 you can play board games all day long and there are so many to choose from...many is never even heard of. I'm a classics girl though and they were all there. The foods a bit high but it makes sense cause they aren't Gina survive off of $5 a person. The staff is super friendly. Parking is free after 6. Great place to enjoy a day with kids or a group of adults. Love it!

You can also get snacks and drinks (alcohol & non) and can even buy and rent board games. Do recommend, even if only to try it out. Owners and staff are also very nice.

Went here for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it. Great game selection, from casual, older games like Monopoly, right on up to heavier games like Terraforming Mars, Star Wars: Armada, and social games like Decrypto and Secret Hitler. Then they had an arcade/video game emulator station, and on top of all that, they had the Raptors game on -- something for everyone. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very inexpensive, and I saw a great events calendar including trivia and D&D nights; We will definitely be coming back.

Simply dropped in today on this gem of the community after not having chance since the beginning of covid . My wife and I have been tracking with this couple and company since 2018 as we live in the neighborhood. They have had to adapt since the beginning and covid just ramped that up. However they have maintained a positive and optimistic attitude since the beginning because they are champions of community, family, fun and play. Not many places can you have games, food, beer, watch a hockey game, after school programs, company or private game parties, virtual games, or just chat with the owners for an hr as I did today. Not to mention the knowledge and expertise of any game you want to play. Simply a gemof the community and the world as the world definetly needs more Funny Bones. Laughter, community, fun, and play.

A very cool place with a TON of games to choose from. Definitely a spot to check out if you need something to do. I believe it was about 5 bucks a person and two huge walls of games to play. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase as well, when I went they didn't have alcohol but I think they're in the process of getting that.

This past summer, my daughter attended two Funny Bones enrichment camps and LOVED it! So much so, that when her birthday party had been ‘canceled’ due to Covid, we made a point to have a play date party once things opened back up in the fall - Funny Bones was her first choice to host a belated celebration! Laurie helped plan a Dungeons and Dragons event that included menu options and great loot bags for the kids. When restrictions came into play again just before the big day, Laurie helped facilitate moving the party to my home, catering and all. It was a blast – I’m not sure how the Games Master managed to keep five kids around a table for two hours, but he did. The gameplay was imaginative and engaging, and the food kid friendly and delicious! I highly recommend Funny Bones for a great resolve to the guilt parents feel about their kids’ screen time – we’ll definitely be stopping by over the holiday break to rent games and puzzles to support this gem of a local business!

What an amazing place. We live in the neighborhood and have finally had a chance to visit last night. We brought our two nephews with us and we all had an amazing time! The boys loved the milkshakes and were very excited to see so many games to pick from. The owner is very kind and super helpful. She suggested a game to us we wouldn’t have thought of. The boys loved it so much we ended up buying it. All in all, a great time at a very reasonable cost. We are definitely coming back. Thank you!
