The Carlton is the Carlton. We haven't been there for 20 something years and it has not changed, literally lol Very nostalgic for us that came in to wonder see what the old place was like to others probably worn down lol

I mean, this place is renound among navy and locals, but for all wrong reasons lol. The place is sloppy at best and pretty grouty to be honest, but there is some kind of bent appeal, like going to a circus for the blind drunk.

So as I tried to leave the club a couple weekends ago.. A very hungry cougar insisted that I join her at her home for the night. After politely declining her request multiple times she was clearly insulted. In retaliation she decided to Whip out her breast and spray me with breast milk. Solid 5 stars. 10/10 would go again. And I did. I was not disappointed on My next visit. another older lady continually "dumped em out" for all to see, repeatedly exclaiming that it was her birthday and her girlfriend shouldn't have dumped her that night because she was missing out. Thank you Carlton club for making these moments possible.

The only night club in Esquimalt. Often no cover charge, cheap drinks and very friendly staff. They play mostly hip hop music. The place is good vibes and it's a good time.

Exposing Proxy Stalking Organized Harassment

The Esquimalt Carlton Club is a night club for the trashy, low brow, low end people. I stopped going there 20 years back. The place looked like it had not been renovated since sometime in the 1970's or 1980's. The cleaning appears to be improvised. The clientèle are trailer park trash types, low ranking military rowdies, hill billy hicks who like to wake up the whole streets with with drunken after bar fights and arguments. Some of the customers like to start fights over every insignificant thing just for fun. I prefer to hang around sophisticated, higher up, nicer people because you become like those you associate with, negative or positive. Many people, security guards, business owners say the Carlton Club is a dive that should have been closed down and chased out of town decades ago.

This place is....interesting. We were basically interrogated for being in the establishment. Seems like it could be a fun spot but had a weird vibe unfortunately.

Ive never met a more rude bartender in my life. I’m stunned. I will NEVER be coming back, nor would I recommend anyone ever come here. Tried ordering a water and the bartender called me a profane name and told me to leave “his bar”. Clearly has anger issues. If i could leave a lower star review I would.

Great place to dance and play pool. Free pool on Thursdays, cheap drinks, professional staff, friendly staff as well. All around very comfortable place to hangout. I feel safe drinking alone here as a woman, unlike most places downtown.
