Usually I don't need to season my restaurant food, but I ordered Boston clam chowder n beyond the salt from the crackers I had to use more than usual pepper. Now the ribeye was perfectly done, but there was to much fat n grissle for someone that likes a good chunk of meat. Also I hate to say the fries were way too greesy. The 90 I spent was I feel to much for fat. We had a lovely server though.

Definitely an enjoyable atmosphere for Kitimat. They have a decent selection of beer. I was a bit disappointed that they do not serve local beer but perhaps that's because they are a franchise establishment. The food is good and there is a wide selection. Pretty typical for a chain style restaurant. The staff were friendly and gave some good local recommendations.

Ate Lunch at Mr Mikes in Dauphin for the first time today and everything was great. Great selection of food, really something for the pickiest of eaters, prices I felt had great value. Service was a little slow for the amount of people in the restaurant but some things are out of the managements control (It was a holiday so probably limited staff). At the end of the day the food came out hot and delicious. Do yourselves a favour and visit this great chain.

The consistency from MR. Mikes is actually very impressive. From Edmonton to Grande Prairie and other locations I’ve tasted. I must say it’s identical and always on point. Location are always clean. Our Mr Mike’s Steakhouse is fantastic! The food is always good, the staff is always amazing and the prices are very reasonable for what you receive! Try their tomato bruschetta as a started, it will change your night!! Service is fast and efficient so don’t be afraid if you don’t have an hour to eat, we have literally been in and out in 30 minutes before a show at the local live theatre, the staff will get you a fast, tasty meal in no time at all. Also a great place for appies and a casual drink any night of the week!

Passing through GP for work and we stopped in for lunch here. My dish had a weird, chemical-like aftertaste. Not sure why. Couldn't finish it. Service was friendly and prompt though -- they took my meal off the bill and apologized. Was happy to pay and didn't really care, but they insisted. Nice! Was with a few friends and they had great meals there. So maybe next time I won't order a stir-fry at a steak joint. ????

I visited Mr Mikes Steakhouse for lunch on September 6th after returning home from a weekend at Duck Mountain Provincial Park. With COVID, masks are required to enter the restaurant but can be removed once you are seated. I had the entire restaurant to myself which was nice. Being that this is a steakhouse, I was pleased to find a vegan option on their menu. I ordered the Fun Guy Burger which was the vegan burger and had a lettuce wrap as they didn't have a gluten free bun option. I had the Cascadia Salad as a side. The meal was fantastic and tasted amazing! In the future, it would be awesome to see a gluten free bun option on the menu. The serving staff were friendly and professional. They originally brought out my burger with a regular bun after I had requested a lettuce wrap, but this was promptly fixed by the kitchen. I was pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Would return again!

My medium steak came back well done and while they did fix the mistake, the time it took, it does impact the meal. Where they failed again is when my wife needed to substitute the sides that came with the steak sandwich (due to allergies) for a salad, they charged an extra 2.49. The amount was not the point, but we thought this was not the best in terms of service.

Finally a Restraunt that can cook a perfect Steak! I stayed in kitimat for 5 days after eating at Mr Mikes the second night i went back every night of my stay. The 16oz Rib eye is so good im hooked, definately will make a special trip up again just for this place! Great staff Greay service!

Prices are higher everytime I come here. No specials...just "Features"...which are really just regular menu items on another menu . You're the most expensive place in town to eat what is, in fact, an amateur attempt mediocre steak. (Pouring butter and garlic on top of a piece of meat is not adding any value) Attitude from my server was arrogant and pretentious. A consistently empty parking lot says more than any Google review. Raising prices to cover your lack of patronage is not a successful business model, you won't last much longer in this town. *** UPDATE*** New manager has made a world of difference. Now I recommend your restaurant all the time! Keep up the good work!

Mr Mikes has a good atmosphere and good drinks. The food isn't super special, but it is on par with any other normal restaurant so you will be satisfied with it, but it's not really a selling point. Had a great experience when we went. Food was fast, hot and tasty. Steak was great and cooked perfectly medium. Server was great. Only minor thing I would suggest is maybe having a ‘basket’ or something to bring salt, pepper, ketchup and other condiments related to the meals and sanitize after use. I am awful for asking for something, then realizing theres no S&P on the table... so I feel bad for asking more than once. Minor detail, though!

Came for an early supper. Staff is super friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food was DELICIOUS. We had the lobster dunk appetizer (best tortilla chip dip we've ever eaten) and 6oz steak with onion rings and lobster Mac and cheese. My steak was ordered rare and came cooked just right. Hubby ordered medium well and his was also cooked perfectly. We had the apple pie for dessert and I'm glad we only ordered one because it is huge - and the best apple pie we've ever had. The server forgot about the Monte Cristo coffee we ordered with dessert, but it was so tasty it made up for the tardiness. Definitely worth the money.

Been there twice since opening and both times the food was a let down. $35 for an 8oz steak with mac and cheese, onion rings and shrimp. Steak was beautiful, mac and cheese was a tiny portion, only served 2 small onion rings, and a skewer of 5 of the smallest shrimp know to man. Second time ordered another steak Medium rare and the thing came blue rare. Love the house lager and the wait staff.

I'll start with the positive, our waitress Paige was excellent and professional. Unfortunately our experience with the food was atrocious, my partner had found a large piece of plastic in our mushroom appetizer, which could of potentionally been a serious choking hazard. To add to this, our food was distastfully dry, and on par with the likes of fast food. I was highly recommended coming to this steakhouse, but after this experience I am doubtful I would visit again and would not refer to anyone I know.

Very nice place. The restaurant is decorated with some very nice pictures on the walls (even in the bathrooms). It wasn't too busy when I went, but the service was great! Our waitress got our order in a timely fashion, and was very accommodating and polite. She helped me chose a drink that I would like, and was happy to substitute the Spicy chicken with a different type. Our food came in a very reasonable amount of time.

The food here is reasonably good, but not exceptional. It is very difficult to find a great steak in Prince Albert, and this is no exception. Their burgers are a decent size, but a little on the "juicy" side. If it is your birthday, they will give you a free desert, and it is well worth going just for that. If you sign up for their app, you can get a free entree on your birthday, which is as good as a 40 dollar value. What business gives you that kind of perk? Fantastic service, and good food.

We were warmly welcomed, and promptly seated. My wife ordered steak, medium well. It came rare. Took a few minutes to get the waitress attention, but she immediately seen it was undercooked and took it back to the kitchen. It came back cooked to order. The rest of the meal was good. Food was great, host was great, service was lacking... possible to be a 4 star review, but... server took a while to even come to our table, it was another hostess who took our drink order. I'm not sure I felt welcome by the server, like it was a burden to serve us. Our server had passed by our table and asked how our food was a couple times, decent, no issue there, but when asked for the bill we waited a good 15 minutes before getting up to ask for the bill again. Food was great, we had 2 appys, 3 steaks, and 1 China town stir-fry, all food came out as ordered, I even asked the host to pass on the compliments to the cooks. Overall it was a great meal.

Bar was under staffed, using their waitresses to run both sides! Your only allow you to have 1 drink at a time. the wait betweens drinks on average 15 to 20 mins which is not acceptable! the bar wasnt all busy when i came in, by the time i left the bar it just finished getting packed! certain customers never got served, and were sitting for a rediculous time before they even got a drink. my suggestion quit using your waitresses to run the bar! stop being cheap and hire an actual bar tender that doesnt leave their station! If this is done i garentee your rating will increase, and your business will get better. I wasnt pleased with my experiance same with the person i was with!

We had a great experience at Mr.Mikes. our waitress Bailey was exceptional. The restaurant was clean and they followed covid protocol. My husband's steak didn't come out as he wanted but Bailey was quick to order him another and gave a discount and a free cheesecake. Our food was hot and yummy and the drinks kept coming. Wife's steak oscar tasted like the same pan was used prior for butter chicken. Overall the sides were the only thing deserving of the second star. Second bad experience here.
