it was an event on facebook with an intresting title "BEACH PARTY" , so 3k put going, me and 9k people were intrested! A week before the event it change to "BIGGEST STUDENTS BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY" with tickets starting from 10$ up to 20$. So i gave it a try and guess what! There were only 17 people in a small club! It didn't finish with this, they also earsed my post on event!

Love it! So much space. Two floors; four bars; great; friendly & sexy staff... they know what the heck they're doing. Upper DJ booth and lower stage (reserved for big shows and their burlesque events). Sound system is a big one for me and it's very clean. Interior design is wicked, with ample space to navigate, and a GREAT view from the second floor balcony. Owner is an incredibly nice fellow. :)

Lame music. Dj is not even there on the station. It looks like they are running a playlist. Crowd is not good. This place is almost dead. Oh and they sure need some renovations. People just come and go. Not recommended.

The best night I had out in a while! The staff I came in contact with (the manager, doormen, and bartenders) were all super nice to me. Not something you see too often in Ottawa. Beautiful venue too with a good, mixed crowd. Has a great Toronto-feel to it. I'll definitely go back.

I went on a Friday night. It says hosting a Caribbean Afro night. It also said on evite tickets were $10, but all of a sudden at the door it’s now $15 and $5 to check your coat. The inside was totally empty at 12:30 am o...sorry guys I feel Ripped off!!! And it wasn’t good at all..... (-1star ) .....will never return!!!! It wasn’t even Caribbean music the dj might not have heard of Soca...ha ha it’s true!!!! He played top 40 and hip hop, not any good Soca hits 2017 or 2018!!! Disappointing when Advertising Caribbean Afro party!!!!! Sad:(

I don't go out much, but when I do. I never go to the same place twice, except for Mansion. Had my birthday party there with a few friends, one of the best nights of my stay in Ottawa. Came back to it the next year and it was even better!

Horrible place, first off, we arrived right when they opened at 11. This bar was completely empty, yet they could not seem to organize a booth for bottle service that I pre booked. The tables and glasses were disgusting and sticky, the orange juice was sour and rotten There was no toilet paper in all the stalls in the washroom (7-8 stalls) Mandatory coat check and they lost my friends coat, said there was nothing they could do. Disappointing...i wouldnt even give them 1 star.

Bought tickets for this place on St. Patrick's day. It turned out that they sold extra tickets and they didn't care if you had a ticket or not, either way you would have to stand in the same line for a few hours before getting in. Not worth ever going to a place where they're willing to scam so many people just to make a few extra bucks. Also, they were unwilling to refund anyone back their money for the tickets if they couldn't get in.

Total GARBAGE!!!! Not only will the doormen be nothing more than steroid infused pricks who are always rude and ignorant to anyone who isn't considered white (my Arabic friend who's 22, wasn't allowed in because the bouncer 'didn't like his ID") The DJ was actually awful, putting on nothing more than an unnecessary "show" by scratching the records and pretending to mix, (I've been a DJ for years, what she was doing was totally unnecessary) next time girl-focus more on what the crowds wants rather than your decks...not to mention the sound was "off" even though Maison is known to have a good sound system. Only props I will give is the great service by the bartenders who were not only considerate but also kind and upbeat in their service.

So, went on St. Patty's Day and it was a critical error. Waited in the cold for forty-five minutes to get in. The music was terrible- it was the same for two hours straight, and there wasn't really any recognizable songs played. Also, I ordered one drink, a rum, and coke, $7, and I got rum and nasty carbon water. The drink was clear. When I told the bartender his coke was out, he took a sip of it, spat it out because it was disgusting, then proceeded to tell me the coke was fine. It was not. Also, the coat check was so slow it took longer to get out than it did to get into the club. And, the dance floor was tiny.

Been to most of the clubs here in the Capital , and Bourbon room is definetly the standard. Security at the door not only did they're job ,they did it with a smile and respect and wishes for a great night. That's how it's supposed to start, although it was packed up we were able to get our drinks quickly and boom it was on. ICP With family and loved ones , were treated with courtesy and absolute respect. Even met the owner , super cool down to earth and truly makes efforts to show people they matter , not their money. Honestly one of the best nights of my life and ILL BE BACK !! MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT YALL THANK YOU

Bought tickets for their New Years Eve event, got there and the bouncer wouldn't let anyone else in because they were at capacity. My friend asked why they sold more tickets than they had room for, and his response was "you should have got here earlier like everyone else you drunk c***." I would never go here again and I only ever waited in the line up.

Complete rip-off. Wanted to charge cover for complete empty club. When we asked if we could go in and have a peek, we were told we couldn’t. Then paid $15 cover, noticed it was empty once in, and left. Waste of time and money

Worst experience with hindi indian DJ.. was playing 5-10 years old songs. Not going again ever due to his worst songs. He could play latest songs but was stucked in old songs inspite of new one...#Boooo to his songs collection and choice.

I was simply looking at reviews to decide whether I should attend or not, and when I did I found that the staff is clearly terribly neglectful. It seemed to be a decent establishment, and I would have attended with several other girlfriends had the service not looked so horrible. "Please feel free to make request for the music you actually want to hear At the next bar you head out to; DJs aren't always able to read everyone's minds!" instead of using sarcasm and disrespecting your customers you should offer condolences, even if you don't 100% agree - THAT IS WHAT A DECENT ESTABLISHMENT DOES! You also failed to acknowledge that the review of your business complained about a "DISGUSTING BATHROOM"," I will assume that your lack of apology for the mess means that, that is the regular standard. **EDIT** EVEN IF SHE WAS NOT A PERFECT CUSTOMER, you're the one that looks bad when this is how you handle something. Remember that anyone who looks up your establishment will see your lack of care and effort to fix the situation and clearly will be turned off from attending anything you host. a simple, "I am so sorry to hear that," can go a long way!! I certainly wont be wasting any money risking attending a bar that cant show basic respect.

Worst service possible at a bar in Ottawa! On top of that, drinks are expensive and I wouldnt even bother getting bottle service because it's even MORE expensive. Would highly not recommend wasting your money here.

I've been there 6 times and I fell over the elevated ground near the washroom, you know, there's no light. 82% of the customers fell over as well according to my study, therefore, I suggest to put neon lights(Demi Lovato's vocal) on the edge (Of glory by Lady Gaga).

The Bourbon Room is my go to spot! The best music/DJ's, the best vibe and the best drinks! Amazing VIP booths and bottle service! There is so much space so you don't feel crammed and four bars with awesome staff so you can always get a drink without waiting. Would recommend this bar to anyone!

I had an amazing experience at Bourbon Room this past Saturday. We we're a really large group & unfortunately they had the VIP name wrong...I think you can only tell how good a business is by how they've trained their staff how to handle problems. They really went out of their way when they realized the error. They refunded people who paid and gave us complimentary shots for the miscommunication. Really exemplary customer service with a cool layout I had a great time!

It has lots of potential but it just doesn’t have the popularity yet, pretty empty even on Friday/Saturday nights. Hope they can pick it up though, it’s a great space, much better laid out then the lookout, great for shows with the stage and upper level balcony

1. The place was dead. There was like, 20 people on a late Friday night. 2. The music was repetitive. Several songs were played a second time, not long after the first time they played. 3. The decor was rather rotten and dilapidated looking. Tacky. 4. The DJ kept getting cut off by his own music as he was trying to hype the "crowd" up with some activity. "C'mon guys, I can't hear my own voice". Unprofessional much? 5. The DJ also yelled after people who were trying to leave. Nothing signals a successful, confident club like the DJ yelling "wait wait wait come back come back" after a poor couple. 6. So my girlfriend and I went for the "meet Jared" event on nov 11th, and part of that event was to pay a little extra to get "a photo and a drink ticket." I asked the bartender "so how do I get my free drink? Do I show you my wrist band?" And he said "that event's done, we did that earlier". I didn't hear anything announced, and nothing in the ad specifies that it's time sensitive. I paid for a drink. Later, my girlfriend asked the same bartender for her free drink and she got one. So I asked him again and he said "didn't you already get yours?" I said "you made me pay for it, remember?" He just shrugged and gave me the free drink. Do you guys know your own events or not? Read your own advertisements and act consistently and professionally. What a disappointing, lame dive.

I never write reviews like this, but this location just really triggered me. My friend purchased NYE tickets in advanced, we got there about 10 mins before they opened. It was about -33°C outside, we got kicked out by security or manager or some guy and was told we couldn’t stay inside, we have to wait outside. There was only 6 minutes left (there wasn’t even a big lineup or basically no lineup, because they probably kicked out other people too which they did kick out about 3 people in front of us), he said, “Doesn’t matter,” and walks away. Seems to me, all they want is money and couldn’t care less about their customers. I have never experienced such rude customer service ever. After that rude tone, we just left and went elsewhere, never went back that night and never will in the future. I’m sorry, but I will not spend an evening where somebody is just rude and can’t say things in a nicer way.
