Awsome place where old meets new.... There is a lot of history here.... They serve great food durring the day for resonable prices but at night is when the bands come out to play....lol One of the better venues in the Valley to see a band. Often the bands they get are a lot better than bar bands and often get quite popular bands with a following etc.... Great place to see a live show for sure....

I found out about the the history of this place was truly impressed. A lot of big bands play here. So there is a very strong cool factor to the atmosphere. The food is good. What you would expect. And the staff are efficient. No real issues. With the stop to try some of the craft beer. Worth it if you want a cool vibe.

We went to the Waverly for lunch and asked if they had anything vegan. The server (big girl with dreadlocks) went to the kitchen to ask. She came back and told us the home made burger she could guarantee was vegan, so we ordered it. While she was gone we ordered two drinks, she came back ten minutes later and informed us she was wrong the burger contains egg. Other than salad there was nothing else we could eat so as we hadn't even started the drinks I said I really didn't want those either as I'm statving and need To go find food. She said no problem took the full drinks and we left. We realized about 1/2 an hour later we forgot my husbands glasses and returned. The server sent my husband to the bar where the (middle aged lady with dark shoulder length hair) bartender held his glasses and refused to give them to him until he paid 22 dollars for the drinks we didn't touch. He was outraged and so am I. This was their mistake and had the server told us we needed to pay for the drinks we would have drank them and then left unhappy. The service was terrible. And this was outrageous!. STAY AWAY!.

History, not-your-average pub food, friendly staff, good live shows, great new renovations, "The Wave" is still a legend. Wednesday's burger night is a regular community gathering of townies and UROC riders from the weekly women's ride night, Friday is their regular Roast Beef Dinner night, also not to be missed by locals and visitors alike. The music programming for live events is top notch, I only wish their 'canned' music during regular hours was as progressive and varied, unfortunately it's the usual bar classics, which is about the only detracting thing I could say about the place. I've seen bands play here who sell out the commodore in vancouver, and the crowd who shows up is always into it and plenty friendly. You can't go wrong with a night out at the waverley.

We were there for sunday brunch. Service was slow. Had to ask for coffee and refills. They ran out of coffee and mugs. Did not recieve a menu had to ask for that as well. Then the food was luke warm and not very good at all. Atmosphere and music were great. I won't be going back any time soon for brunch. Too bad because it has the potential to be a great place.

This historic old hotel happens to be the home of the most amazing hamburger in town no questions asked. I am an avid hiker, climber and mountain bike rider who stays very active when visiting the area which of course means working up an appetite. So after a long day this is my go to spot to refuel. There are many burger options and honestly you can’t go wrong with whichever option you choose.

Went here for a Jon & Roy concert a few weekends back. The atmosphere was awesome for the show. But the food was okay. The waitress suggested ordering some food before kitchen close down for the concert, so we did. After we left to use the bathroom, we came back and they had taken our almost full plate of nachos and thrown it out. So that was disappointing after they suggested we order extra food and keep it on the table. They also change into a cash only bar after a certain time so we went from paying CC, to using the debit machines and whatever fees that entails. Other than those 2 negative points, the rest of it was pretty good!
